[MONSTER HIGH] Jinafire Long ✨️🐉

My take on Jinafire:

I don’t hate the idea of green skin, just wish it would be better executed. This one is more based on the concept art, minus the purple because I thought it would be too much.

I heard that she was supposed to be a jade dragon, but her skin was more of a mint green than a jade green, so I tried to change that. Also, the sick jacket stays.

I tried my best, but I’m not an specialist in Chinese dragons, so feel free to give some feedback if you want to.

also like who knows who would’ve been introduced in season 3 :(

like even if becomes a yt thing fully with the 2d animation that would be more suffice than no cartoon at all

1/23/24 Jinafire Long from Monster High

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in... Saw the Jinafire Fang Vote doll and I think she's gorgeous, but I'm not gonna buy her; She'll just sit in my closet. Drawing her is the next best thing. I think both of her hairstyles are beautiful, but no, I will not be drawing the back view of either of these.

My new dolls from the last couple of months!

Poor Jinafires hair was so gelled up still and sticky I had to braid it to keep it neat. So glad to have a Honey Swamp Doll now! Her hair and face are just GORGEOUS, I had to fluff up her hair a bit, when she came it was so flat it made me sad. Hoping to give Venus a new face and outfit (her hair is still so soft and silky I was impressed by the quality) , and might give Clawdeen a new outfit to compliment her perfect hairstyle. Jane Boolittle was one of my favorite dolls as a kid and I specifically picked that one because her hair had been fluffed out so nice

My thoughts on the JinaFire Long FangVote winner…

I’m not gonna re-state what I said in the first image but I do have another point. When the shoes and purse are added this will be a NIGHTMARE. One, the colors are ALL OVER THE PLACE. It looks like etherial vomit. And with the purse and shoes, it’s going to look much more like just someone who vomited all over a piece of paper. Everything just clashes and not in the good way. The red looks out of place with the water vibe the majority of voters were going for. The blacks and deep purples also look horrid. If they would’ve stuck with three main colors (ex: blue, green, and gold) and maybe one accent color, she would’ve looked much better. And even her makeup, though pretty, also looks out of place! This doll is just so ugly and a mess. Annalise should’ve just been allowed to cut loose and do what she wanted to do. It would’ve been much less of a disaster.
