I woke up at 3 AM, for no reason I can think of, other than the fact that my subconscious knew that Fang Vote Jinafire went up for pre-order at that time in my timezone.

Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in... Saw the Jinafire Fang Vote doll and I think she's gorgeous, but I'm not gonna buy her; She'll just sit in my closet. Drawing her is the next best thing. I think both of her hairstyles are beautiful, but no, I will not be drawing the back view of either of these.

The new 2022 FangVote Rochelle Goyle. It was almost a two year wait and it doeant seem entirely justified. Her design is a lot better than I expected, but her face up is garbage. I feel as though all of her dolls I have seen so far have been slightly miss printed or she looks sort of fish faced. Her box is brilliant, the outer box has a plastic stained glass window and if you shine a light through it, it illuminates the faux stained glass. She comes with a poster and a certificate of authenticity.

mattel learned so much from rochelle and it shows !! not that rochelle was a bad doll. she’s cute :3

jinafire is SO DETAILED !!!!

i don’t have a membership so i didn’t vote but i’d be happy with the outcome regardless regarding the hair, jewelry, purse and stand, but the makeup and shoes ?? OOF

i’m really happy this makeup won !! the other one was cute too but this one pops out better against her skin tone and the flowers give it a nice extra touch. truly gives her more of a collector doll feel over the other option that was more inline with what we see in playline dolls

as for her shoes, i’m also really happy the red ones won :3 it helps give the design an extra pop and also keeps red as an accent color factoring in the red details on her headpiece, waist and purse. i will say the armband would’ve looked better red but it’s okay !! it goes with the green on her purse :3 personally i feel like the other shoes would’ve blend in and gotten lost (the gold against the gold tights and the bottom parts with the dress and stand)

overall i think the design is cohesive and all ties in perfectly🥰✨

i can’t wait to order her !!
