This is my first post, I'm so excited for it! I've been coding for 6 months. That's why I'm more naive, hehe. Now I'm busy developing an e-commerce site with C# over ASP.Net (I'm almost done and due in two weeks!). I created this account to give me more motivation to work and to follow and make friends with other coding girls.
I will be 23 in two months, I started striving to be a developer at 22, I still lack a lot and feel like I don't know anything. I'm also an economics student, believe me it's harder than writing code . But sometimes I don't think about which one is more difficult! Stay well and do not hesitate to write to me..

Coding Language Tag Game~!
Tumblr media
Tagged by @a-fox-studies and @leaveblackkbrosalone - thanks guys ~
Rules: Talk about your most favourite and least favourite coding language, and tag more codeblrs to do the same!
Tumblr media
Favourite Coding Langauges
My favourite language has to be either C# or Lua. C# and me are definitely a textbook example of enemies to lovers. I used to hate C# and would avoid learning it as much as I could. Why did I hate it? Can’t even remember but what I do remember is whenever someone mentioned to learn it, I would frown and go “no chance!”. That is until I started my apprenticeship and guess what language my workplace uses? Yep, C#. From hate to love, C# has to be my number one.
As for Lua, I recently learnt that language, not to the max as I’m still beginner-mid level. I love that it’s simple to learn, easy to programming in my opinion! So yeah, my two favourites!

Least Favourite Programming Language
I’ve seen everyone put down C++! So much hate, oh no! But for me, my experience with Rust was not a good one. I tried it out, very confused. Even trying to install Rust to my home computer nearly broke it?! Really put me off from learning it. Since there’s no real need for me to learn Rust as of right now, I’ll just continue to ignore it! Maybe in the far future I’ll try again!

Coding language tag game!
Thank you @vexacarnivorous and @xiacodes for tagging me 😺😺
Favorite language:
I guess technically it'd be JavaScript and HTML, but just the way of component-thinking in react and structuring of jsx (which is used in react) is so so so so SOOO good, i love it, there's nothing like it, unbeatable. Because my heart is with front end development, and i love how easy it makes it for me to combine my JavaScript with my HTML 🥰🥰 However: python gets an honorary mention for being my first language and introduction to programming
Least favorite:
This continues on the same path as before, but ejs is the absolute WOOORST thing I've ever had to code in. It's basically a predecessor to jsx and it's so ugly.
Tumblr media
Like why do we need so many <% everywhere... And to make it even more complicated, there are different types of <% depending on what you're doing with your embedded js, like there's <%= and <%_ and it's too much for me, at least when knowing it could be made so much simpler in jsx.
Tagging: @web-dev-with-bea, @zoeythebee, @blockofcode, @lostlibrariangirl, @cyberhippieblog, @mockingcode, @undertheinterstate, @durhamstudies and whoever else wants to do this (:

Coding Language Tag Game!

My Favorite and Least Favorite Programming Language
I got tagged in a post tag game, which means I get to rant about programming languages!
My Favorite(s)
is tied between Lua and C. I want to try out Odin as well, and Jai when it comes out. But for now its the former two. And the reason why they are tied is because I like them for different reasons.
So for C I just am in LOVE with the speed and the control. Absolutely every little detail you have access to in C. And there is no weird abstracted away bullshit. Oh and pointers are fucking magic once you learn them. I am in love with pointers.
It's biggest downside is it's syntax is a little outdated, and it has some old features that aren't important anymore and are kinda annoying. Like header files, ascii default strings, forced type casting when assigning structs. But those things are pretty minimal and easy to work around.
But I also really love lua. First of all Lua is stupidly easy to learn. The syntax only has, like, 30 reserved keywords. It took me reading a single 20 minute lua crash course to have the language down.
Plus it's fast. Lua is an interpreted scripting language, and it's about as fast as scripting languages can get. It's runtime is only 1.3megs. And with the Lua just-in-time compiler it is extremely fast.
Also it's extraordinarily flexible. In lua can you can be like "huh, I wonder if I can take a table of values, change them to string, concatonate them, then use it as the key to access a seperate table inside of a for loop and re assemble the keys on the other end" and it will just work.
There are a few TINY slightly annoying syntax things (arrays start at 1 instead of 0? And ~= means !=?) but that's it.
And with Love2d and bindings to every game library in existence, Lua is an absolutely wonderful language.
My least favorite language
is probably C++. It's design is fucking terrible, but it's performance is good and it has every feature from every programming language ever created ever so you can pick and choose what you need. But I think it's EXTREMELY easy to write dog shit code with it.
I'd avoid it unless you need it for a job.
And in conclusion...
This is a tag game, so I gotta tag some people! @mockingcode @404icy @moai-statue

imagine your polyship all kissing each other when the ball drops at midnight (x)
--
They were uncoordinated, that was for sure.
Bobbi already had her arm over Jemma’s shoulders when Daisy joined them and knocked into her side. Her hip nudged into Jemma who swayed precariously before regaining her balance.
Daisy laughed and nearly spilled her beer but was wholly unaffected by how her momentum had spread through their bodies like they were pieces in a Newton’s cradle display.
“Two minutes away.” She announced, grinning like an idiot.
Jemma giggled and took Daisy’s beer to steal a few sips.
Bobbi had noticed Jemma cut herself off about twenty minutes earlier but that had so far done nothing to improve her wobbly balance.
“Enjoying yourself?” Bobbi asked and reached out to pull what looked like potato chip crumbs out of Daisy’s hair.
“I broke six glasses!” Daisy said, sounding much too cheerful about it.
Bobbi and Jemma exchanged a glance before Jemma inquired.
“On purpose...?”
Daisy laughed.
“Frequency stuff.” She held up her hands and wiggled her fingers as an explanation. “Fitz bet me I couldn’t do Auld Lang Syne on wine glasses and... well, I guess I lost but that’s besides the point.”
“What is the point?” Bobbi chimed in.
Daisy sighed loudly and exasperated. “Is this the party pooper corner? There is no point. I broke six glasses.”
Jemma still looked skeptical but like Bobbi she couldn’t help but smile affectionately at Daisy’s enthusiasm, no matter the nonsensical bits.
The countdown came quickly and it by that point in the night Bobbi was just shocked the three of them were still standing, never mind in the same place.
Daisy was the first to move, the loud celebration of the new year barely out of her mouth before she was looking for someone to kiss.
Bobbi had already turned toward Jemma and poor Jemma just seemed a little overwhelmed by the noise and both women heading toward her.
The number of uncoordinated limbs was too pronounced for anything to go smoothly and in the end the three of them just bumped heads.
And to think they were supposed to be trained agents.
“Ow!” Jemma complained, rubbing her forehead but Daisy and Bobbi were too busy laughing and holding their sides to be put off by the incident.
They settled for a hug, messy and long with plenty of swaying.
“Close enough.” Bobbi declared though moments later she took advantage of their differences in height and pressed a kiss to the top of each of their heads.

Based on this post (x) and @jetpackrps slip in saying skimmorse instead of simmorse, prompting my addition of-- Person C: tries and fails to quietly slip in last without being noticed
---
Bobbi had barely had her clothes straightened out when she rushed into the conference room, her copy of the mission file and active orders tucked up under her arm.
“Sorry I’m late I was doing... stuff” She explained, hesitating when she realized she couldn’t actually explain what it was that had held her up.
She’d only just gotten to an empty chair when Daisy, unfortunately, added in a quick quip upon entry into the room behind her.
“I’m stuff.” All smug grin and wild hair.
Bobbi sighed and had to fight to keep from rolling her eyes. Only Daisy.
It wasn’t as if they were being subtle so she wasn’t embarrassed but not being subtle didn’t need to directly translate into announcing the reason they were late for team briefing was because they couldn’t keep their hands off each other.
To further the disaster that was unfolding Jemma, who looked remarkably like someone who was trying very very hard to look inconspicuous walked in, sporting a visible glint of sweat and a deep fascination with the carpeting.
The usually impeccably put together biochemist, who was apparently unaware that she had missed not one but two buttons on her blouse, tucked a few of many stray hairs behind her ear and gingerly took her seat while the team looked on.
At the head of the table Coulson cleared his throat.
“Can we get on with it now that Stuff One and Two are here?”
The room buzzed with a hiss of suppressed laughter, apart from Hunter who shot a supportive “Alright, Bob.” and an air high five in Bobbi’s direction.
It was certainly no secret now.
