I LOVE THIS!!!
before this scene, both fuwa and aruto were provoked by amatsu gai and it really aggravated fuwa (and aruto seemed affected by it too). the exchange they have in this scene is them reminding each other about what they’re fighting for and what they want to achieve from all this. like, even if there’s this authoritarian figure that’s constantly pressurising them, the knowledge of their own goals and beliefs helps them push on no matter the conflict.
fuwa is a free man with his own principles and will, and aruto is determined to fulfil his role as not only his company’s president but as a protector and believer of humagears. and i think it’s wonderful that these two people can come together and fight alongside one another, no matter the differences in their ideologies or causes!
and the shot where both of them transform at the same time is soooo cool like YEAAA GO BESTIES!!!

just finished watching a xenoblade 3 playthrough. i am So sad
#clai speaks#spoilers under here#man i dont know what to say. i Really loved this game#xbc 1 and 2 were great sure but this one absolutely demolishes the other two to me#the most lovable cast of characters the visuals the music the main story the SIDE stories#side quests in the other games were for the most part really boring but every xbc3 sidequest felt somewhat significant at least#like its not just ''go help this guy do his groceries or some boring fetchquest with uninteresting no name npcs#the quests all had something to do with helping these colonies survive and build meaningful relationships#i heard the zeon potato thing is a bit of a meme but i was INVESTED in that shit i WANTED HIM TO GROW SOME GOOD GODDAMN POTATOES#not a single main character i was even just Neutral on either like. i didnt care too much for sharla and tora admittedly#but i care SO much about each and every ouroboros member#each one of them is so extremely compelling on their own and complement each other so well and their interactions are so good to watch#every day i think about the campsite animation where sena is playing with taion's mondo and he makes one disappear before she can catch it#i have almost zero complaints with this entire game it is SO. its everything to me rn#the ending. it was PERFECT for what the story is its all been leading up to the worlds splitting again i KNOW but i cant take it man legit#i wouldnt want the ending to change i think i just. personally hate endings where they rip apart the protags i cant handle them#i KNOW it ends on noah hearing the flute and running off and they'll probably meet again years after the game ends but#the noah and mio and everyone you PLAY as. are just gone#their memories and bonds with each other they're restarting#and no thats not a bad thing. its unfair but thats kinda the point#I'M TRYING NOT TO SOUND LIKE THOSE PEOPLE WHO LEGIT CANT HANDLE CONFLICTS IN STORIES BUT I JUST. SORRY#ITS A GOOD ENDING ITS A PERFECT ENDING IT JUST MAKES ME. SO UPSET. WHICH IS THE POINT BUT ALSO. UGH#one thing i will say. Rex??? Holy Shit#i saw that picture months ago and thought it was fanart or a good edit or something NO ITS REAL#AND THEY PUT IT LIKE. SMACK BANG IN THE PASSIONATE KISS BETWEEN NOAH AND MIO. Weird. i thought pyra/mythra were older than rex but i could be wrong on that#but even if they werent why BOTH pyra and mythra arent they. the same person. they split at the end of xbc2 but pyra still came from mythra#idk. i dont like that at all#poppi still being around though now THAT was great. i love poppi so much WHY COULDNT SHE HAVE APPEARED BEFORE#and last note. the fight with z being the FIRST time melia successfully lands starlight kick without falling over. Perfect

The race in Brazil was cool and all that, but there was one specific reason why the fans went crazy for it.
Y/N Y/L/N.
When the first person noticed her around the paddock, the whole internet knew, even though Y/n was there just for fun, just because she was a huge fan of the sport so when she was invited to watch the race from RedBull garage she couldn't say no.
Even the drivers wanted to talk to her during the whole rush of the weekend.
Lando Norris had his chance right after the podium, where he proudly stood on the second step. After the nice conversation he had with the girl, he went straight to his driver's room to call his parents and his best friend.
He was about to press the green button on his phone to make a call when suddenly the doors opened and Oscar was in his room as well. Lando even stood up in surprise.
"Please, tell me you did not turn the y/n y/l/n, the famous actress, the face of the year, probably the most gorgeous girl on this planet down." He said to his teammate.
"What?" Lando asked, even more surprised than when Oscar entered the room. He was the type of guy who knew how to knock and now he was there, accusing him of turning down his celebrity crush? "I didn't, she asked me-"
He didn't have any chance to finish his sentence when Carlos entered the room as well, looking like he was some kind of mad man.
"Lando" He went straight to his friend and with the palm of his hand, hit the forehead of his friend "What have you done?"
"Ouch! What? What have I done? What are you two talking about? And who let you in there?" Lando was surprised, to say the least. And he had no idea what those two were talking about. Also, he thought about how Carlos, the Ferrari driver, got in his driver's room, in McLaren.
"You turned y/n down!" He yelled at him.
"What? No, I didn't! I would never do that" He said. "And how do you know I even talked to her?"
"Fans are everywhere, mate." Oscar explained as he crossed his arms on his chest. Carlos was now walking around the room.
"Oh my god, but I didn't do anything. It was just a nice talk. I doubt she would agree if I asked her out." Lando explained himself. Yes, he had the biggest crush on her but c'mon, she would never have a crush on him.
"We heard something else" Oscar commented, he didn't really know what Carlos heard, but as he looked at him, he assumed that the Spaniard heard the same rumors he did.
"And what exactly was this nice talk about?" Carlos asked, annoyed by his friend having absolutely zero brain cells.
"Well, at first she congratulated me, said I was great there. Then I thanked her and told her I was a huge fan of her newest movie. Then, she asked me if I wanted to grab some coffee so I said I don't like it and then-" Lando stopped and then- "OH MY GOD, IT WASN'T JUST ABOUT COFFEE, WAS IT?" He yelled, now he realized.
"Lando, dios mio. I can't believe you." Carlos said as he held his head.
"God, so you really turned y/n down" Oscar said as he tried to stop this chuckle from escaping (not very successfully).
"Stop making fun of me! What do I do now? Christ! I was nervous and I don't know! Help me, now that you yelling at me!" Lando panicked, did he just lose the chance he waited for half of his life? No, that can't be happening.
"Firstly, calm down. Secondly, go find her and ask her to go out with you!" Carlos said as he looked at his friend.
And if panicking and two yelling guys weren't enough, he heard a voice.
"Well, I wanted to ask if it's true, but from what I'm hearing right now, I assume you really did reject y/n y/l/n?" Daniel asked with his infamous smile, maybe it wasn't the best time to make fun of his friend but he just couldn't stop it.
"Stop! This isn't funny! And who let you all be there? It's McLaren!" He said annoyed, now he had to deal with his own stupidity and three guys there.
"Alright, alright!" Daniel lifted his arms in defence "I just wanted to let you know that you have your chance to fix your mistakes. She's in RedBull, talking to Max. She's waiting for her ride to the hotel."
Daniel said and Lando stood there, frozen, what were the chances he would see her again if he didn't talk to her now?
"What are you waiting for? Go!" Carlos had to push Lando a bit, but he started running as soon as he was out of the room. Three guys left behind, smirking to each other's, and crossing their fingers for their friend.
Lando didn't really have much time to think about what he wanted to say as all the way there he was just thinking about not tipping over and falling on his face.
So, now he was standing in front of really surprised (and a bit embarrassed about being rejected after the first time asking a guy out) y/n and Max.
Of course, Max heard as well so he just said "Oh! the mechanic just called me over there! It was nice meeting you, y/n!" He said as he left and went towards this mechanic who called him over (maybe he was a bit crazy for hearing voices).
Lando was still breathing heavily, but he felt awful about this silence that he caused. They talked really comfortably before he rejected her. "Hi, again. I know what I said about coffee but for my justification, I hate coffee and I really couldn't think straight after the race. So, I wanted to ask if you maybe like... uh... hot chocolate. I know it's a bit childish, but I know a really great place and they actually have nice coffee too so if you like, you can have a coffee and I can have a chocolate and... " He realized he started ranting but he also noticed that little smile forming on her lips.
"Lando, I would love to grab some drinks with you."
"Really?" He face-palmed himself mentally and probably all four men who were watching from around the corner did that as well. "I mean, that's fantastic, we can go tomorrow if you would like that?" He tried to compose himself but then she giggled a bit and he was folded all over again at this angelic sound.
"That suits great with me. Should I leave you my number, so you can call me with more details?" She asked as she noticed on her phone the message that the car was already there to pick her up.
He looked around him, only to realize he was still in his champagne-covered racing suit. And his phone was in his driver's room.
Well, that's what he thought but then Daniel appeared right beside him.
"Hi y/n! It's great having you there! Are you enjoying yourself?" Aussie asked as he pushed Lando's phone into his hands, trying to be smooth about it. As he did it, he didn't even give y/n any chance to answer "Well I gotta go! Nice seeing ya!" He said as he went back behind the corner to three other drivers who tried to help.
"Yeah, that was- sorry" Lando said but hey, at least it was less awkward as they both laughed a little. Lando handed y/n his phone and she put her number there, Leaving Lando to write some good name to it.
"I think I really have to go now. I will see you tomorrow, right?" She asked as she put her own phone into her purse.
"Yeah, I will pick you up in the evening" Lando smiled one last time as he watched her making her wait towards the exit of the paddock after saying quick good bye. To the boys behind corner as well.

Lucy’s little sister.
Alexia thought she had zero to no chance of you saying yes to a first date due to your older sister. When you said yes, her whole demeanour changed. Everyone can see how much Alexia loves you, except your sister. Keira had expressed Lucy’s concerns with you and you shake them off as you don’t care what Lucy says. Yes you love Lucy and she’s your best friend but her older sister concerning phase is getting old and you’re annoyed.
A tight arm pulls you out of your slumber and a kiss on your shoulder blade makes you turn around with a soft smile. Alexia pushes a stray piece of hair from your face before kissing your lips softly.
“Good morning my angel”
“Good morning Ale”
“We have a little time before the match. So you and me, breakfast date?”
“Sounds divine”
You kiss Alexia as she rolls you on top of her, straddling her waist. Alexia showers you in compliments before taking you to the actual shower to get cleaned up before your date. You get dressed in a cute, summer outfit and Alexia does a double take when she walks back in the room after feeding Nala and is speechless.
“Freeze bebita, don’t move. Dios mio where is it?” Alexia rummages through the drawer for the polaroid camera, only to find it has no polaroids inside. Scrambling for her phone, Alexia takes many photos and stares at you lovingly.
“Are you ready to go?” You nod and your hands intertwines as you go downstairs to leave. Getting to Alexia’s car, she opens the door for you and gives you a peck as you get in. On the way to the café, you get a text from Keira that Lucy’s in a grouchy mood she she will probably be a little over protective today. You sigh and slouch in you seat, thinking how annoying Lucy is going to be today. Alexia stops at a red light and looks over at you, putting a hand on your bare thigh.
“Forget Lucy, forget everything. For the next few hours it’s us time. No phones or anything. Just us” You nod and hold Alexia’s hand in yours.
“How do you always know what I want?”
“I just know you so well mi amor”

A delicious breakfast leads to a scroll through the Sunday markets and Alexia buying whatever you want. Towards the end, Alexia went to pay for somethings a few stores down so you decided to buy her a bunch of sunflowers. She comes back and you give her the flowers, making Alexia confused but happy at the same time.
“For always taking care of me and for treating me like the most delicate thing in the world. Te amo mi amor”
Alexia kisses you and you both head back to the car to get ready for the game later on.
Alexia pulls up to the stadium and you wave to the fans waiting to get a glimpse of their favourite players. You both get out and Alexia grabs your bag before you could even close the door. A look is shared between you both and Alexia shakes her head with a smug smirk that paints her face. Grabbing your hand, she pulls you gently into the stadium to prepare for the game. Little did you know, Lucy watched the interaction with a hard, ‘don’t fuck with me’ look on her face and headphones on.
As everyone is about to go, Alexia gives your a quick kiss and wishes you good luck as you’re in the starting XI. A hand on your lower back guides you out and you know it’s Alexia immediately. Lucy didn’t like that at all. She moved Alexia’s hand up before walking past you both.
Barca win the game 5-0 unsurprisingly as the team is one of the lower teams in the league. You scoring a hattrick and Alexia assisting the other two goals. Turning slightly to your left, Keira and Lucy seem to be talking about something that’s getting a little heated. You keep watching them and two strong arms wrap around you and soft kisses on your cheek.
“You played good princesa”
“Thanks Ale”
Looking back at Keira and Lucy, Keira gets fed up and walks away. You sigh and start to walk into the locker room with Alexia following you like a lost puppy. You both quickly shower and leave to get home to have leftovers and cuddle on the couch. Tying the last knot in your shoe lace, a presence next to you grabs your bag. Alexia holds out her hand and you take it silently. A scoff is heard from behind you as you both are about to walk out and you turn to see Lucy rolling her eyes. About to comment on Lucy’s actions, Keira signals not to engage but you ignore her, it’s enough.
“What’s your problem?”
“Nothing, leave me alone”
“Well it sure is something. Don’t think I haven’t seen all the times you tell Keira or someone about how Ale treats me after she does something. I knew it was you who told Mum about the incident and how you pulled Ale’s arm off me earlier. So Luce, what’s your problem?” You finish with a loud and angry tone in your voice, one that is usually soft and almost quiet.
“Not here” Lucy mumbles as her behaviour is finally being called out.
“Why not? You behave like this in front of everyone”
Alexia pulls on your arm and whispers for you to stop. Shaking your head and you turn back to Lucy, determined to find the reason why.
“Just drop it okay, for crying out loud!” Lucy swings her bag over her shoulder and storms out.
Keira mumbles to come over later and talk to Lucy as she’s going to Aitana’s. Silently agreeing, Keira hugs you and goes after her girlfriend. Tears begin to well up in your eyes as you face Alexia. She pulls you into a tight, secure hug and whispers that everything will be okay. Saying goodbye to your teammates and hopping into Alexia’s Cupra was your favourite part of the day (when you usually love training).
Alexia decided that after what happened in the locker room, takeaway is the best option for dinner. Ordering the few different things from your favourite pizza ship, the doorbell rings while you’re in the shower and Alexia opens it to find Lucy holding the pizza and sides. Alexia moves out of the way, silently inviting Lucy in. The pizza is placed in the living room and Alexia quickly mentions getting something from the bedroom. Running up the stairs, Alexia goes into the bathroom gently alerting you of her presence.
“Bebeita, pizzas her and also Lucy” The shower turns off and you wrap yourself up in the towel Alexia’s holding.
“Did she say what she wanted?” Alexia shook her head.
“Okay, I’ll be down in a minute” Alexia decided to give you some privacy so she kisses you softly before whispering.
“Whatever happens downstairs, I’m not going anywhere” Before giving you the softest forehead kiss.
Five minutes later, you come downstairs and Lucy stands up quickly.
“I may or may not have come to my senses”
It’s your turn to roll your eyes before gesturing for Lucy to continue as you all sit on the couches. You lean back into Alexia and of course hold her hands.
“I did some thinking and realised my behaviour since you two began dating was not sister or best friend like. I want to apologise and say I’m sorry for all the death glares, eye rolls and scoffs” Squeezing Alexia’s hand, you silently tell her it’s going well, so far.
“I guess I’m still in over protective, older sister mode. I realise, with Keira’s help, I need to cool it. I can see that you two are so in love with each other and Alexia treats you like the most delicate thing. Bienvenido a la familia Alexia”
(welcome to the family Alexia)
You look back at Alexia, realising she might not have understood the whole speech but the last part put that beautiful smile you love on her face.
“Yeah I hope so soon” You mumble but Lucy gives you a smirk.
“So we’re good?”
“Yeah, we’re good sis. Just stop being an overprotective little shit”
You both hug tightly and Alexia goes to get plates.
“Pizza time?”

G Witch episode 16 thoughts
Or the episode where the real plot thickens. No offense to earth and Guel but these are the sort of stakes and drama I'm weak for. Truly a wonderful present to receive on this blessed of Sundays! Just in time for Walpurgisnacht too
And we start off strong with this heated Prospera and Bel confrontation! Cont. from last time, Bel just learned Eri Samaya is not Suletta Mercury or even alive anymore, but a mysterious 3rd thing-- her biometric code uploaded to the cloud aka Aerial. We learn her immature body couldn't handle it so she perished. Eri is now entirely composed of Permet particles, and without Aerial housing her consciousness she'll dissipate. The Gundam is literally possessed by a child's ghost.
And it seems with a permet score of 8, the datastorm can be extended with Quiet Zero and create a space for Eri to live. Or that's the implication, I gather. How exactly that would happen is a mystery though I suspect it would mean granting Eri a new physical body, perhaps by 'overwriting' Suletta's mind/soul. (Well this is sounding familiar, isn't it 3h fans?)
But amid all this, there's the matter of Benerit's leadership. Without Delling, they need someone to control the various corporate beasts so it's decided they'll hold an election. Awfully democratic of them tbh. Though I wager leadership might boil down to whoever can crush hardest in a Mobile Suit royale.
We know Shaddiq will be throwing his hat in the ring, as will our prodigal failson Guel by the looks of it. Speaking of, I wish he had a bigger moment with his brother but maybe later? Their surprise was pretty good, and I enjoyed Guel's talk with Petra. She's grown up quite a bit from the shallow bully/fangirl of the first season.
Moving on to Mio, I went nuts over this shot. Suletta is fulfilling all her promises!! Even cleaned her disaster area of a room and messaging three times per day. She's unnervingly good at following directions tbh.
Adored this so much too. Lauda is grateful to GUNDARM for their aid and subsequently clears them of suspicion in the terrorist attacks. He goes out of his way to say Mio is free from the dueling games too, but Mio could care less about that petty nonsense. Her heart and mind is set on Suletta.
Quick mention to Secilia for being the most relatable person in the show. She just wants to sit on this god forsaken couch, watch the drama, and see who'll be Miorine's husbando. She's so funny, I swear.
And ofc we get spacian/earthian hostility in the wake of the attacks. You can't blame these kids for being scared and lashing out at the nearest targets but also Earth House was clearly not involved and aiding students during. Even Lauda of all people can understand that. They are grieving for a friend apparently which just complicates the situation further. Sad for all tbh
Martin steps up to defend his housemates, which was nice to see, but it's Mio who is able to shut down their hostility with a clever bit of blackmail. She's so cool and taking no one's guff this season
Nika had a brief interaction with Sabina, but it was insightful. We understand Sabina's loyalty to Shaddiq now as she's an earthian who was taken in by Grassley. Like Nika, she wants to become a bridge for spacians and earthians. Their methods contrast Nika's but they're all coming from the same place. Sabina is anyway. Shaddiq is a bit more inscutable.
Detective Mio is exploring all avenues in her quest and the space assembly league are all too happy to collaborate. They all find Shin Sei and Prospera suspicious, it seems. Valid observation. She does manage to locate Nika, sorta, and brings that information back to the others.
Mio is so adorable when Earth House thanked her for everything. This is probably the first time in years people appreciate who she is on her own merits and formed bonds that aren't conditional or tied to her father. It was just a really wholesome moment. Ah I love her and Earth House! Especially after hearing that first drama cd sketch.
Shout out to Till for shipping these two like the rest of us. Solid wingman right there. Poor Suletta doesn't quite know where they stand after all this time and doesn't want to be a nuisance, but still desperate to show Mio her dedication.

Only a monster could say no to that look, and luckily for her Mio is an understanding and loving bride.
Prospera Jumpcare. Watch out y'all, this one has a mean bite. Her showing up suddenly was unnerving. For the love of all that is holy, never do this again lady. Creeping me out somethin fierce.
HOO BOOOY where to begin? So 5lan was rejected from Aerial immediately, unlike when Eri was humoring El4n and Mio. Is this a sign she's grown in power or just fed up with 5lan's gremlin antics? Could be a combo of both! I take this as confirmation there were multiple failed clones/instances of Eri and Suletta was the lone sucess. The others look Eri's age. 12 of them in total, making Suletta unlucky 13.
I kinda felt sorry for 5lan here, cause he has a right to want to live and not be a tool but also... I don't like him and wish him nothing but misery for being a creep + striking Bel, who I do love. Poor Bel is not having a good week in between Prospera's guilting and now 5lan's.
And we finally arrive at THE SCENES we've been waiting for. It's so wonderfully tense but also tentatively hopeful at the start. Suletta who wants nothing more than to bridge the gap and Mio who wants the same.
Mio starts off with an empathetic apology, stating she understands Suletta's choice in ep12 even if it was traumatic for her. But the reconciliation derailed the moment Suletta declares her mother was right after all. She did the right thing. Run gain one, move forward and gain two.
Mio is galvanized by this logic and hastens to ask Suletta how she can smile at something so terrible. She might understand why Suletta killed for her sake, but she doesn't get how Suletta can just blindly accept everything is ok; that murder was right. Then Mio goes directly in, striving to make Suletta understand. She presses her about her mother, asking if Suletta would do anything. Including giving up her dream for Mercury or killing again.
Her answer, while terrible, is yes. To all of it. Suletta would forfeit the school for Mercury. Would kill again at the behest of her mother. Would do anything so long as her mother said it was right.
Suletta only sees the positives. She got to go to school, have friends, and meet Miorine who she loves. All because she moved forward at her mother's demand. It's horrifying but it makes perfect sense why she would think this way. It's clear from her anxious gestures she's not wholly oblivious to the horror either, but deems her discomfort inconsequential when she gains so much from obeying.
Hearing this speech is the breaking point for Mio who dashes away, leaving a forlorn Suletta to gaze after her. And we're swiftly shown what exactly she has on her mind
This scene was electric from the start. Someone is finally calling out Prospera's manipulation and while she's unflappable as always you have to admire Mio's fire. She wants Suletta to be freed and doesn't care a whit what Prospera thinks.
GOOOOOD this quote. We know Mio loves Suletta genuinely but Prospera only sees her 'daughter' as a tool to be tossed around and used by others. Her phrasing is disgusting in this exchange. 'She's a good little girl, isn't she?' *shivers*
Prospera proceeds to lay her cards on the table and is amazingly forthright, declaring her intent. She reveals her hungry fixation for vengeance and 21 yr long grudge against Delling.

I shouldn't be surprised when the episode title is, "The End of Hope", but.....fuck. I can barely keep my thoughts together as I write this, but, here we go.
Watching Earth House deal with the fallout of Aerial being the new poster child for the evil Spacian overlords was damn sad, Aliyah pretty much nails how I feel about it, though Lilique going "not our problem" is both a mood and unexpected (not in a bad way ofc). It was really sweet seeing Petra be nice to Suletta, on top of commiserating over their love lives, really added some nice depth. Her dialogue was Death Flag city tho. For those that care, the post-episode radio program hinted that she might still be alive, though just judging by the rubble she was under she might not have working legs anymo- OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Clever.
Love to see Guel finally show off why he's always been an Ace in the making; my man faced off in his still school-spec'd Darilbalde vs a freshly upgraded Michaelis set to full power, and came out on top. Really appreciating his ability to use his drones, he's definitely the series' Quattro. Feeling bad for Lauda tho, dude just learned big bro just killed their father then gets the call at the end probably about what to Petra. Can already tell he's going to have a lot of internalized guilt over this happening because he skipped out on their date (for an admittedly important reason) unless she gets the chance to tell him otherwise.
RIP to the Earth House hangar and Chuchu's Demi, but I take solace in the fact that I called the Barding being her next custom suit the moment I saw the Gunpla images (obviously the Barding we saw in the episode was missing some details from the gunpla like the second head mounted on the backpack which is definitely going to be salvaged from Chuchu's old Demi but yeah, called it). Also now feeling the Felchu vibes, ya'll got me.
Speaking of new ships...why did I have to get so rabidly attached to 5nore only for her to get Anew'd literally one episode later, it's not fair. They were going to run away and see the things she drew then the rest would come later. It's not fair. 5 is either going to have a Guel arc or just go absolute villain mode, and I'm not ready. It's not fair.
Okay I'm going to ramble a bit because I have been absolutely normal about the fact that Suletta has been a rescue pilot for a significant portion of her life and that detail is only really known to those that read Cradle Planet but they absolutely showed that off right at the end because this girl is tearing her hands apart moving heavy concrete slabs because goddammit there are still people that could be saved and she did not memorize the canyon patterns of Mercury, learn to wield a beam saber with the precision of a scalpel and earn Eri's complete faith that if she said she could complete a mission in 4 minutes then it'd be done in 4 minutes for her to not put all that experience to good use. I hope her effort gets recognized. It probably won't, Gundams just attacked the school again and killed likely scores of students if not hundreds this time around, but she's gotta get some respect for this.
"What We Can Do Now" is a hopeful title, and probably another TitleDrop episode like "Not the Best Way", so here's hoping that it's either a breather episode gearing up for a descent to Earth or said descent episode proper. I mean, it's either that or Mio and Prospera coming back up to Plant Quetta to send Quiet Zero...into...oh no.

If the rumors are confirmed and we're getting a full run of gwitch as a mainline series, I'm really curious how they'll keep up the pace for another 24 episodes after this cour ends, and how that's going to effect Sulettas character development and who she'll become, as well as when the (hopefully inevitable) SuleMio full reconciliation happens.
Something that's kind of funny might be that there may actually be more fluff / character building stuff for them in the back half, after they're freed at least partially from the duels, but it might get dark enough that it'd feel out of place. Either way, it's really hard to see how this ends in 6 more episodes without feeling really rushed. They barely have the world set up or clear battle lines, and I think pulling it off that quickly would lead to a narrative collapse in a way that this show's writing so far has smartly avoided. At the very least we need at least one more cour.
I don't think Mio and Guel are going to win the president race, though. It seems too easy, and too much like a "Mio becomes her father", and while they're at the school, they're at the mercy of Shaddiq, who I think will definitely interfere or force so many concessions that Mio ends up having broken Sulettas heart for nothing. I feel like they told us Shaddiq's plan so that we could watch it happen, and then have him surprised Pikachu when it doesnt work out like how he intended, not to mention GUND proliferation is the perfect way to dramatically escalate the stakes and tension. Also sorry Bob but I don't think you're making it to episode 48.
Not entirely sure what will happen with Quiet Zero, though. Earth House, rather than giving up Gund-Arm, might escape to Mercury, or more likely, the Earth. The Space Assembly league is definitely getting involved too. But we know so little about them that it's hard to exactly pinpoint how.
If the theories based on the ED and the literal lyrics from the back half of red:birthmark are true and Mio gets a cybernetic / GUND eye, I'm also fully prepared for this to be tragedy-yuri with one of them dying or both of them joining together in classic new type permet ghosthood / afterlife / "together forever" (but still dead), but I hope that doesn't happen.

G Witch Ep 12 Thoughts
(Right, there's gonna be some foul language in this one, also MASSIVE SPOILERS FOR EP 12)
What The Fuck Prospera, no seriously WHAT THE FUCK. "That Girl"!! "THAT GIRL"!!! I guess that's one way to reveal to the world how little you give a shit about the girl who wears your daughters face. Prospera is definitely the worst parent in this show, and that's saying something considering Mr. Delling "I'm gonna auction my daughter off to the best fighter" Rembran, and Mr. Vim "You lost too many battles, you're no longer my son" Jeturk are in this show.
Talking of Vim, hands up who didnt see that one coming. Of all the parents who was in this show, he was never the one I expected to die first, and yet he does, glad that he's finally found his missing son, whom he loved but struggled to show it. Too caught up in status and politics to see what he was doing to his child.
And it killed him, once he realised what he lost. Killed by his own estranged son who through a lack of communication and time was forced to watch his father die by his own hand. Where this leaves Guel I dont know, perhaps he'll join with Shaddiq now, until he finds out what he's planning, and that he's ultimately responsible for the death of his father. Wouldnt that be something.
Delling, the cold calculating businessman, who when it comes down to it, puts himself between an explosion and his daughter. All of the politicing, all of the lies and distance an attempt to protect his daughter, but then, just as the estrangement began to fade, it was torn away by others scheming.
And now we come to the new enhanced witches, Sophie and Norea. They're fun, even if Sophie does have a slightly massive obsessive streak. I dont have much on them today, but I do want to touch on the idea that Sophie calls Suletta her 'big sister.' Now there are three things this could mean:
- First, and most likely in my opinion, is that this is metaphorical, Suletta is Sophie's big sister in that she too pilots a gundam, and so they're all part of a big family of Witches, people persecuted and hated for the powers their suits posess.
- Second, and a little less likely, although not by much, is that Suletta too is an enhanced person like Sophie and Norea, probably enhanced at the same facility they grew up in, and so Sophie feels a familial bond to her due to their shared origin.
- Thirdly, and the completely batshit off the rails option, is that Suletta Mercury, is their full blood sister, who has been altered in much the same way EL4N and EL5N were, in order to give her the face and body of Ericht Samaya.
Either way this is gonna be fun.
Talking of Ericht, lets talk about the Aerial. Her new design is pretty interesting, even if it shares more similarities with the mobile suits of typically antagonistic forces than it does with a traditional Gundam now. That line about it 'not being designed for combat' solidifed my theory that the suits used in Asticassia are massively tuned down compared to actual combat use suits, so like, how powerful is the Aerial going to be when it gets tuned up.
Finally, lets talk about Suletta Mercury. The Witch. The Cyber Newtype, the girl so conditioned to obey her mother that she'll straight up murder a guy and maintain her chill floppy exterior. I'm scared for her and Mio-Mio, I think this might be the action that sends them to opposite sides of the war, at least for now. Suletta goes from being terrified of killing, to happily doing it in a sentence from her mother.
Suletta Mercury, what did Elnora do to you, what's Quiet Zero, and why can you casually enter Permet Six with no ill effects while others are almost dead at three.
I cannot wait for April, this is gonna be such a long three months.
Ah well, back to watching through Gundam-X I guess.

Oh. Oh damn...
Okay, so Feng and her partner aren't part of the Space Assembly League, okay. Their group seems to still be... a bit of a mystery, unless I missed something. They haven't fully come into view yet. That will likely change, and soon.
I like how Guel's grown since... well, the fucking trauma, but... I am not 100% on Kenanji. Can't get a solid bead on him, and I am not 100% sold. He's a good soldier, does his job, but... we'll see. And god, Miorine... so fucking close and then MOTHERUCKING PROSPERA has to go and fuck it all up for her self-righteous revenge plan!!!
Martin finally coming clean to his house was needed, and I am glad Suletta was dragged out of her depression burrito (which is allowed, she got hit with several emotional suckerpunches in a matter of a couple of days; that shit needs time to process). And of course it was Chuchu who caught her sneaking some food, and drug her ass to breakfast. xD Got I love that spicy little cotton candy-haired spitfire xD. Tiny, but fierce!
So Prospera fucks up any chance of Miorine becoming president (honestly, pretty sure she didn't give a rat's ass, she just wanted a free ride down to Quinharbor, and used Mio's feelings for Suletta to get it). Feng sacrificed herself to save Winston from Prospera's hitman (I sincerely want him to get Gundam-squished, I really do), and Suletta is getting a better handle on what is going on.
Woof.
I think this show will probably not go past 30 eps at most. I just hope they don't rush things, but it's been good so far. Just... Suletta on her upswing, but now Miorine's gotten the suckerpunch (this one figurative AND literal).
Fucking Prospera, I swear.
I get her wanting to wipe out Ochs Earth for their backhanded bullshit with what happened in the Prologue, but... yea, nah, she thinks she can just burn everything for her crusade, and then "fix it" with Quiet Zero, I guess?
And anyone who knows this kind of thing in anime, and Gundam in particular...
If the road to hell is paved with good intentions, then self-righteous vengeance at the expense of all else must be the express lane. And she gonna DIE.

Jobless Reincarnation: Season 2 - (6/10)
They told me that this season was just Rudeus trying to cure his ED. Too bad I didn't believe them. Not a fan of the "Solve my heartbreak over one of harem girls dumping me by finding another one of my harem girls" narrative that went on for 5 episodes more than it needed too. Unsure if I'll come back for more of this. After 3 cours of this show, I think I can confidently say I just don't like Rudeus.
Horimiya: Piece - (8/10)
Not every side-story worked for me, but most of them were pretty good. I just love how stupid and honest these kids are. Sometimes, the way anime glorifies high school life can be overbearing, but I can't help but wishing I enjoyed those days more whenever I watch this show. Gonna miss it.
Remi best girl.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc Part 2 - (7/10)
Definitely felt the exhaustion I remembered when reading the manga. I'm not sure what's Kubo fascination with long strings of fights while the plot stands completely still. Didn't enjoy it during the Arrancar arc, not enjoying now. At least Squad 0 redeemed themselves (somewhat)
My Happy Marriage - (8/10)
Still believe this show would be better if it didn't have all that supernatural stuff. Nevertheless, still enjoyable romance. Mio is a great lead and her development alongside Kiyoka was really good. We will be there for Season 2.
Reign of the Seven Spellblades - (6/10)
Remember when "Magic High School" was the genre that was oversaturated? Me neither. This show was enjoyable but had some weird moments. Also for once, I'd like a magic show that doesn't obsesses over the reproductive system. Probably won't watch any foreseeable sequel. Still rooting for Nanao to get that kiss.
Bungou Stray Dogs 5th Season - (9/10)
Actual Peak Fiction. Igarashi and his team at Bones just know how to make this show as stylish and cool as possible. Also this arc is by far the best one we've gotten so far. Could feel the tension at every episode where crazy shit happened. Shame I can't read the manga to find out what happens next lol.
Undead Girl Murder Farce - (8/10)
Now this is a show that had style in every corner of its being. Undead Murder Farce with just so fun to watch. The trio of Aya/Tsugaru/Shizuku is one of my favorites in recent times and the side characters we very memorable. I think the last arc when one for 1 or 2 episodes more than it needed too, but still enjoyable nonetheless
EDENS ZERO 2nd Season - (7/10)
This season was a lot more darker than what I usually expect from Mashima. Wish the presentation wasn't so exact to Fairy Tail, but it has some high points that exceeds it's sister series. Probably will check out the manga if a third season isn't announced sometime in the future.
Fate/strange Fake: Whispers of Dawn - (8/10)
An anime series by the team that did all those FGO commercials is any fate fans dream. Cannot wait for the full show of this. I hope Aniplex gives them enough time to animated this (they probably won't)

prepare to get sick: disabled + poor edition
ok, so my boyfriend just texted from work to say that he feels warm and dizzy and has thrown up a few times already. we both suffer from health issues so it doesn't necessarily mean he's brought home a virus, but I want to be prepared. my health has been shit lately with my medical testing and migraines, so I wanna do what I can to prepare in case we both come down with something (covid). best case scenario, his stomach is acting up for other reasons and we have a bunch of food prepped anyway. worst case, I have what I need to get through, keep us fed, spend as little money as possible, and stay out of hospital.
Remember - don't over exert yourself preparing. it's better to save your energy to fight illness than have everything picture perfect.
- clean the bathroom. I'm using Lysol wipes, a multi surface spray, and toilet paper to keep it easy
- make sure you have clean, comfortable clothes available. this might mean doing or folding a load of laundry, or even just re-piling your lightly worn clothes so you can find them
- cook and prep ahead. I'm going to make soup with whatever I can find in the fridge, and possibly some kind of cookie with lots of nuts and oats and stuff. KEY REMINDER: cook stuff your sick self can handle, so no crunchy stuff if you're prone to sore throats or tough food if you're fatigued, use textures you like, and keep it plain but nutritious
- locate and take vitamins! I'm very lax about this stuff but I figure it doesn't hurt to get a multi vitamin blast now and then. you can take vitamins (I recommend D3, zinc, C, and omega fatty acids but I'm no expert), but I struggle with pills so I either use drops or fresh sources: cooking with ginger, garlic and onions if they agree with you, honey, hot peppers, lemongrass, and citrus
- prepare to rest. the most important thing you can do to decrease the impact of covid on your body is to rest. ideally, you'll rest the way you recover from a concussion: total radical rest of body and mind in the dark with no stimulus. but, I too would lose my marbles, so I recommend charging your electronics (I <3 e readers and low brightness screens), visit a library WITH A N95 OR BETTER MASK ON to pick up some books and movies or revisit some faves at home. torrenting ofc for any movies you may wanna watch
- drink fluids, definitely something more than water. I like gatorade zero and mio electrolyte drops, but watered-down ginger ale or juice can be great too. your body needs sodium and potassium to help process the liquid and your body needs all the fuel it can get when sick. a coke/Pepsi or green tea is really good for a gentle caffeine kick midday, which I find helps my pain and mental clarity when I really need to get out of bed.
anyways I hope this is helpful to even one person besides me - I feel kind of alone in preparing for battle with these viruses sometimes and being disabled is extremely isolating. so any feedback, tips and tricks, personal experiences, I welcome them 💚💚love u!!

G-Witch Episode 13 - Second Cour Start
It's been awhile! I'm positively jittery to break down this episode. Let's start with that banger OP change shall we?
I love the imagery in this shot in particular. It's interesting that we see Suletta start in shadow, slowly moving to the light throughout. The symbolism is obviously framing Miorine as the light she seeks (edeleth flashbacks anyone?) Oh and the boys have a brief cameo. Yeesh Guel looks like a defeated wreck. 5lan has weird prominence so I wonder if he'll be something after all. Maybe a heel turn? Antagonist at least judging from the glimpse of Pharact. Shaddiq certainly will be.
Aerial Rebuild my beloved. I love her so much and she looks so stylish in action. But woof, I feel bad for Earth House. They're deeply affected by the terrorist attack, and cringe at the violence involved with duels. Great detail!
Meanwhile, Suletta's persistent cheeriness is a stark contrast. They're puzzled she can remain so blithe about it. Shame they don't know our poor little tomato head has been brainwashed by mother dearest. More on that later.
Miorine on the other hand is going through the wringer. We only see her briefly but it says so much about her mindset. She's dressed in a black business suit, as if already mourning her father and preparing to take his place at Benerit. It's not surprising she's neglecting herself while she watches her father, but you hate to see it.
Prospera: You did the right thing brutally liquidizing that guy, Suletta. Very smart. Another way? Don't be silly. Murder is always ethical.
Lol. Lmao. Ugly crying. You're going to need so much therapy.
I saw this in the promos but it's still crazy they just stroll into the episode like this. This episode humanizes them, which is nice. You glean nuggets of character from Sophie especially. She's an endearing terrorist if nothing else. The detail of naming her stuffed animals her family, the sister moniker for Suletta-- it paints a lonely portrait of a girl desperate for familial connection.
Norea is interesting too, stoic but blatantly disdainful of the luxuries Spacians take for granted. Clean air/water, plentiful vegetation, and even general happiness. All things Earthians lack.
And here comes the Benerit brigade to make their lives worse. I sense super fun times ahead ;-; I do wonder what the endgame for Dawn of Fold is though. They must know attacking Delling would result in violent retaliation. Hm, something to think about.
Good for Nika standing up for herself and Earth House! Sophie and Norea's simple school life might be over soon as it began. Rather audacious they thought murdering a girl on campus wouldn't be noticed lol. Suletta was so dashing protecting her friend 🥺 She may be highly impressionable but she's a good egg. Next episode, it'll be a duel for Nika's life! I can't wait~
And omg Miorine figured it out. This makes the quick fic I wrote canon compliant! Very pleased we solved that misunderstanding quickly.
This is worrisome though. What really is Quiet Zero and why is Delling convinced it'll bring peace? And what will come of Prospera using Mio to further it? Nothing good, I wager.
But enough of all that dire stuff. Let's discuss the phenomenal ED
The first thing that came to mind when seeing this is Utena. What we see here is Suletta and Aerial serving as the Duelist and Witch respectively. It's incredibly smart to have Aerial in the role of unwilling servant/collaborator both for Utena parallels but also for The Tempest. She can't break free from her servitude, trapped as Arial is as a servant of Prospero and Anthy to Akio. Utena/Suletta is the one who struggles against delusion and misguided beliefs. GOD IT'S SO GOOD Y'ALL
The ED is so romantic too, I'm going to faint. They way they look at each other, even Mio who visibly seems uncertain. And the way their joined hands tremble in the last shot? You can feel Suletta's desperation. That collection of Suletta's is so ominous and witchy too. Reminds me of PMMM. (Also confirms Eri clones in Aerial?? Maybe) This season is off to a rocking start <3

Full disclosure I'm loving this arc because I feed on angst, but yeah anyone thinking that Mio et. al. are making an objectively good choice or even the best of a bunch of bad choices is gonna be in for a treat. And I'm looking forward to when Mio at least has to apologize and beg for her forgiveness.
Like, I'm not complaining about the writing - the choices are bad in a way that makes *sense* for the characters and it's a good direction for the narrative and their development to go. Miorine is not really emotionally fluent and also dangerously naive (oh yeah, I'm sure the daughter of the president of the company that's oppressing them will have *no trouble* calming some riots along with totally-unarmed Aerial which she's seen turn someone into red paste with a slap). Guel seems to be aware it's not going to work but is following along for his company. Eri and Prospera care about their plan first and foremost.
But like, even ignoring that what they did is a recipe for crushing someone's psyche, the school they're sending her back to is a nexus of both the political fight, the earth-space conflict, and whatever Quiet Zero will do. There was a terrorist attack a few episodes ago where a student died, and her only friends are earth house. Who are discriminated against, have been actively bullied, and were arrested on suspicion of said terrorist attack *recently*. Shes now not really important enough for people to want to use as a pawn in their schemes, sure. But neither were Seethia or Jubeju and it didn't stop them from becoming collateral damage.
Exactly, like I know the choices they're making make sense for their characters, it just pisses me off. Thats how I know its good writing because I have a strong emotional attachment to the story and the characters.
It's just infuriating to watch because I hate that Suletta has to deal with all of this bullshit because she's being used as a pawn or an excuse for other people's low emotional iq.
So far the story has been great. I hope they do make Miorine do something extravagant to apologize and make up with Suletta [im assuming this has a manga but I haven't read it if it does] because if not I'm be salty.
I really like the characters even if they piss me off with their ridiculous choices because they've been fleshed out in a way that makes it easy to believe they would do those things, and think its a good choice when its clearly not.
I can't wait to see how that earth mission goes sideways because that's going to be a crazy episode, especially since they left Suletta behind. When she gets back to school [if they don't find a reason for Suletta to follow them to earth] she's going to be a mess. I'm sure since the riots on earth are getting worse the bullying is going to be amped up x100. [Personally i think nika is going to have something to do with Suletta going to earth since she's been getting low screentime the last few episodes]
I have love hate relationship with angst driven plots. On the one hand its good story telling but on the other hand my heart can't take it and i get sad/angry. I just hope they don't end this season on a cliffhanger before miorine and Suletta talk.

Thoughts on Episode 11 of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury below, there are spoilers, please please please watch it before proceeding (unless of course you don’t care about spoilers, in which case carry on)

Why is this show SO amazing
Anyway, some actual coherent thoughts:
-Poor Suletta deals with feelings of rejection about as well as I expected, i.e. overworks herself and assumes she’s useless : (
-Delling and Prospera are no longer in the opening sequence and have been replaced with Sophie Pulone and Norea Du Noc, the titular Witches from Earth; since I’m assuming Prospera isn’t going to die yet, I’m guessing it’s not an omen of her and Delling dying, but Sophie and Norea becoming major antagonists (but who knows for sure at this point)
-So, Delling and Prospera are apparently working together on a project, and she just told him (and the audience) her real name for the first time, and also he knows she’s a witch (in the Gundam sense), and apparently Aerial can reach a permet score of 6 (which is 2 more than what’s previously been shown to kill pilots)...what even *is* Prospera’s plan at this point? Also kinda worried about the name ‘Quiet Zero’, that definitely sounds like something you’d name a superweapon : /
-Maybe *Shaddiq* is going to end up as the main antagonist, what with how he’s trying to kill Delling, Vim, AND Miorine, what a prick
-I’m thinking that theory that Suletta is a cyborg whose enhancements are all subdermal (like that one lady we saw back in the prologue) seems increasingly likely, due to Miorine’s remark about her stamina and the fact Suletta didn’t flinch at any of Miorine’s punches, until she hit the solar plexus (I remain very interested where Witch from Mercury is going with its transhumanism themes)
-...Y’ALL
-No, but seriously, Y’ALL: anybody who watches the scene with Miorine hugging Suletta and crying and telling her to say that she (Suletta) wants Miorine to rely on her and asking Suletta to never lose any duels and to stay by Miorine’s side forever, and can say with a straight face that Mio-Mio is NOT in love with this dork from Mercury should be awarded an Olympic gold medal for mental gymnastics (also, Miorine thinks the keychain isn’t cool at all, but of course she’s keeping it because Suletta gave it to her)
-And because we advanced, we gained two: Suletta and Miorine all but saying “I love you” AND a cliffhanger as Sophie and Norea attack Plant Quetta and threaten the now happier couple’s lives along with everyone else’s! Merry Gundmas I guess!
