Soooo I got a lil carried away with this build, the inside is about 97 percent accurate to its real life counterpart. There’s certain places that I could just not find any references to replicate. Those being the souvenir shop. the rooms behind the lift which is located in the upper court yard by the well, and the space under the entrance. Other than those three, the rest of the entire castle is completed. Sparse decor or furniture as per the references. Some still need some decor or furniture. If anyone has any information about bran castle and it’s history, I’d love to chat about it!

Block palettes inspired by the animation vs minecraft sillies! (:

Orange:

I decided to make it look similarly to his house in the texture pack episode, except i replaced the oak planks with acacia. Also the website i used didn't have chests as a block, so I used a barral. And of course, some emerald for his powers (:

Yellow:

He is a redstone freak and also has some quartz in his house. This one was pretty easy to make.

Blue:

I also tried to make this similar to his house. Some soulsand and nether wart, a cauldron (but only because the website didn't have brewing tables as a block), and then some decorative blocks.

Green:

The first one is based off of his room in the episode, and with the second one i tried to have a little more fun. Jungle log looks a tiny bit green, so i thought it would fit. The mushroom block i just put there cuz it looked nice.

Red:

Tbh i had next to no idea what to do for red. There are bricks and red nether bricks in his house. The red terracotta is cuz he's red, and the yellow is for the monster school episode. The jungle log for his parrots.

Purple:

I picked the grey to kind of look like his elytra, but also like the bastion that he and king orange stayed in. The obsidian is supposed to represent the the dragon egg.

Anyways i really like how most of these turned out, and i might try to build some houses with it!

What is the Best Block in Minecraft??

In this tournament, we're gonna find out!

Submit your favorite block, maybe throw in a little propaganda to be used on the poll, and get ready to vote!

On the submission form, there is a link to a fandom dot com page(i know i'm sorry it was the best source i could find) to all the blocks. Feel free to look around if you don't have a stand out fave.

-no creative mode or command only blocks

-nothing upcoming, unimplemented, unused, or removed

-no joke blocks either

we want good old fashioned vanilla minecraft blocks!

"but what exactly counts as a block?" good question! think of an oak log block. does the block you want to submit have the same shape as that oak log block? if yes, go ahead and submit it! if no, sorry, but this is a full block only zone. (example: chest wouldn't count because on its own it's smaller than a full block, but barrels would count!)

The Tournament:
