This book is written in first person from Lana Myers' perspective. 10 years ago, tragedy struck and now she's out for blood. You learn pretty early on, page 2, that she's a serial killer who has a kill list and she's making her way down the list with the help of her friend, Jake. He's also connected to the tragedy 10 years ago, and together they make an amazing team. Think Penelope Garcia and Derek Morgan from Criminal Minds...just more sinister. She ends up dating Logan Bennett of the FBI who is hunting her but they both don't know it. I want to put so many details in but, for the life of me, I cannot separate them. Like, I said, I read all 5 books in 3 days and they kinda bled into one another. It's an incredibly easy story to follow and well-written to the point that you can empathise with every character. It's very difficult to make you feel something for a serial killer, let me tell you! You want her to win!
