Bandcamp Friday October 2023 purchases
Once again... I wonder what will happen to Bandcamp, because Epic sold them to Songtradr...
This time I purchased something slightly older and two new ones.
Blastromen's Cyberia is Finnish duo's 2018 entry, and at least for now their latest album. Cyberpunk flavoured electro. I remember this style of rythym from early 2000's. Very hip hop flavoured usually. So interesting to hear more cold take on it. Reminds me of shareware days of PC games. I like this album, with its more darker sound. I highly recommend, my favourites are "Dream", "Unite Arise", "R.U.R.".
unitcode:machine is back once again! After two single releases. Now they are part of COP International label. First listen didn't quite leave a memory mark, but "Nothing Left" sure caught my attention. Maybe this one will sound better after some time?
And finally, mind.in.a.box. released a remix EP, Shades of Gray. Featuring remixes of the songs from Black and White album, that already felt most club ready, to feel even more club ready. Plus a new song, "Fire and Lace". It kind of feels like a prototype song from the album.
Maybe I'm already feeling fatigue, because this year has already been filled with great album releases, but I didn't feel much excitement this month...
