Safiye had been on stage all night as they went through Hamlet over and over again, Shakespearian quotes leaving her lips as if she spent the last year practicing and rehearsing the lines instead being stolen away as if in a dream to celebrate the Satyr king who had left the Earth with quite a bang, it was a dishonor to not go out during a feverish party. She was finally taking a break and indulging in the food and drink that swirled around them before she caught the eye of her fellow Valkyrie. A beat came to her as she began to snap her fingers in tune before doing the Charleston over towards Paloma. “You know only the good die young..”

All of the demon's that had been magicked from Sanguis Massa to the masquerade surged forward into a can-can line as a song sprouted from Sybella's lips as she danced around Tisiphone who had granted her favor for Sybella's incredible ability to hunt and kill.
"I can't decide
Whether you should live or die
Oh, you'll probably go to heaven
Please don't hang your head and cry

My heart feels dead inside
It's cold and hard and petrified
Lock the doors and close the blinds

Her hands rose up in the air and were stained red from her earlier sacrifices to the pit that night, she felt power course through her veins even with her separation from Rowan.

Flora hasn't had a good nights sleep.. quite possibly ever and if she wasn't in her wolves skin, she spent more of her time human addled with anxiety and feeling of unease and illnesses as the Eye grew in allies and the lines became more drawn, war was coming and yet it couldn't touch her mind today. She was especially smoothed brained as the spell of the masquerade kept under, she spots a pack member who served council with her across the room and even though they often shared opposing approaches, his opinion was necessary as he held vote over major issues. Instead of normal words leaving her lips, lyrics took their place instead.
"Oh Mama, I'm in fear for my life
From the long arm of the law
Hangman is comin' down from the gallows
And I don't have very long
The jig is up, the news is out
They finally found me
The renegade who had it made
Retrieved for a bounty
Nevermore to go astray

Centaur's and the rest of the Lupo pack surged forward to accommodate her with backup dancing and backup vocals.

"I'll never forgive myself for being without you" It's words that she has expressed before, regrets that have come to the surface and yet it feels like such a bold declaration of her embarrassing failure and even with the fog that holds them in a spell of happiness, she feels as if something isn't quite right as she creates uncomfortable spaces with secrets said so easily. "I like your glitter"

Fen and Ayla had changed titles, species and positions of power various times in the course that they've been consumed with each other and yet no matter the adversity that they had faced, they managed to keep coming back to each other. All of the trouble that came with being a Triumvir and Senator melted away once they had been swept into the arms of the great tree to honor Silenus passing. Ayla draws Fen near by the small of their back and her dead heart flutters at such a stunning sight. "You look absolutely beautiful tonight my darling." She dances with her soft and slow before twirling them underneath the bright silver stars.

Jonah and Luna had always shared a kinship of not being entirely made for this world, darkness ran between them both and yet they both tried to reach for the light. There wasn't many that she had allowed to her corner of the world but the gates were always open to Jonah and her eldritch creations that answered to her call always guided him safely to her cottage in the woods as opposed to the other travelers that would become lost long before finding her. She always held herself like a weapon, as was Drow teaching and it seemed magicked had answered that darkness with the gown she wore. Passing a drink to her bestie, she smiled. "Cheers to you my friend, couldn't survive the day without you."

Ari had arrived with nature infused to his dream outfit, his mask was made out of the forest's floor and he had gold to remember the Satyr king. A friend that had eclipsed lifetimes and always knew how to have a good time. The weight in his chest seemed to shift once the party began within the magical tree, a setting that caused air to pass through his lungs a little easier. He saw a familiar face in the crowd and even though he had half a mind to turn and run, it was best to face his "family" head-on. "Hey man, how ya' doin'? Shame about Silenus, was one of the best."

@natjennie 's post about the ghosts forgetting certain things had me wondering...
What if Robin forgot his name?
The last time we see him say it is is back when Annie died. He never mentions it in the present and introduces himself in French as "Je m'appelle Robin." It sounds as if no one called him "Rrroghr" after William left. What if, with none of the newbies being able to say it right, his brain made the subconscious decision it wasn't worth holding onto anymore, not with all the languages and technology and faces he was learning.
I'm picturing Kitty dying and meeting him for the first time, and being Kitty of course she's not afraid of him like the others were at first, she's just sweet Kitty who thinks he's some kind of mythical forest creature or something, and she asks him his name...And this look of sadness and horror comes over his face as he realises he doesn't know it anymore. It's "Ro-something" according to Humphrey but that's about it. It's devastating because that's the name his mother gave him and now it's lost forever. And Kitty is just like "Don't be sad, we'll think of a new name for you." and eventually she thought of Robin (because of the bird or because Midsommer Night's Dream, you pick).

Blood splatters her neck and its dried into a vermillion stain and she hopes he doesn't ask where she's been. She doesn't know how to tell him of the terrible things she's done and the blood that stains her hands, she was trying to reach for power. She wanted full access to magic and to feel strong even when away from him. It was for the better for the both of them. Sybella has never been good at being a happy girl even when spelled to be. "I found my brother.. he doesn't remember me." sadness flickers before it fades quicker then it came. "I think he's coming back to me though."

Animosity was growing between Rome and New Rome, Flora had always wanted peace for their kind but their enemies grew in number and the Eye grew with more powerful technology and warcraft, it seemed further and further away from a possibility. Normally being such a masked ball would cause reason for concern and panic but all of that just washed off her like water on a ducks back and she approached her pack member with a full pint. "Beer? Let's party."

It's a secret she'd rather have kept to herself as it was an illegal crime but secrets seemed to spill like wine that night and she gazed into her glass to see if something odd had been slipped into it. Enchanted greenery surrounded them and golden orbs of light floated like lanterns underneath a full starry sky. Nymph's danced around them, excited by the fey presence at such a event to honor the wild and her moss chickadee chirped on her shoulder.
