I don't know the best way to set up any sort of watch party, but we really need to have one of the Muppets Christmas Carol at some point as a part of A Dickens December.

Who knows how to set these up? I figure anything after midmonth would be too chaotic for many people but I'm down for literally any day or time but the 12th. today? sure. third thursday? sure. christmas morning instead of opening presents with family? sure. it'd be worth it

"DV should be able to share estimated release dates for the projects they work on" and "DV is a barebones team and you have to have understanding that development will be slow" are both statements that can coexist.

DV is unable to uphold its own given schedule of "two updates a month" (monthly + midmonth), it should just give us its own, actual, realistic schedule rather than the "appeasement" schedule.

If DV actually does believe it can put out two updates a month, then it certainly is failing on delivery.

If DV does not believe it can put out two updates a month, but it's saying it can to appease users, and then it fails on delivery, thats a failure on DV's part.

Users don't want "new content every month". Those demands were too literally taken. Users want a consistent schedule where they can expect things. If users can expect that every 3 months there will be a decent batch of new content that isn't premium stuff, they'll be happy. The issue is consistensy, which DV doesn't have. If DV can deliver consistent content in its realistic schedule (Which, based on how often things get delayed, I can see as every 2-3 months rather than monthly.), it can then also put in extra content if it finds the time for it and make users even happier.

Users don't want "expected content at unexpected times". They want "expected content at expected times, and unexpected content at unexpected times."

If someone tells you they're gonna get you a cake on friday, and you get the cake on friday, you're gonna be happy that it was indeed right when they said they'd give it to you. If they show up the next day with cupcakes too, you'll be extra pleased because not only did you get a cake (which was promised), but you also got cupcakes because they said they had some extra time and wanted to give you something extra.

Still so very stressed out. 1130pm on Monday and had to call it quits cause I was falling asleep. Four hours of sleep yesterday cause picked friends up at the airport and had to be up at 6. Another day I have to up at 6 tomorrow. I’m really doubting my ability to get my grad school work done which means I won’t be able to go out with people Thursday, we were going to this Emo/goth bar after the rehearsal dinner, but I’ll need to skip it if I want to actually enjoy my whole wedding day. Then back to the school grind Saturday after we do brunch with everyone :( I’m really hoping I can finish all my assignments tomorrow but I think it’s pretty unrealistic.

Going to start listing videogames for sale tomorrow to cover the vet fees - I’ve got about $3,500 needing to be paid and while it’s a 3-paycheck month and there’s a bonus on the midmonth paycheck, I don’t want to leave it to pile up. 😭

Right now it’s only games that I’m putting up (if anyone is interested in a CIB SoulSilver with literally unused battery-strip-still-inside PokeWalker, hmu), but depending on how that goes I may list the Zelda handhelds later on.
