played stardew valley for the first time and i wish so badly it was enjoyable to me 😔 i understand the appeal and how easy it is to like sit down & end up playing it for hrs if i was a different person but it is not stimulating enough to me and one thing i HATE in video games is not being able to move fast like having to walk everywhere really slow is the number 1 thing that will make me immediately stop playing a game 😭 i played for like an hr & again i get the appeal but i always said that stardew valley and animal crossing would not be the kind of game for me & i was right 😔 and yet so badly i want to be a butch lesbian tending to my farm and to romance one of the pretty women i just don’t know if it will be playable to me………

Like, even when his subordinates or the right hands don't quite act along the script, they always end up in line. It always ends in 'A toast to the King! Hip hip hooray, long live the King, well live the King! A toast to his wisdom, crawl in the dirt before the King who knows how to do everything!'

And his business partners, however they may drive him up the wall, don't solely live to anatgonize him. They do respect or accept the drama. Some of his enemies even do, because they have the same proclivity for pomp - I feel like between him and Antonio, it's about who can play the role better and Arthur can always appreciate a challenge (and brand the other smugly as 'gauche' if he out-dramas him). Ivan is another matter, but the man is always another matter.

But the Irish and Sicilians aren't pompous. Harry & Co. are allergic to ego and Michele's folks know their ceiling all too well and how hard it is to push it. They won't out-drama him. They're gonna be the old gay muppets heckling the show. Except. Even that would acknowledge the theater and that'd be too much already. Arthur isn't even getting a 'You suck at your role.' He's getting a 'You're behaving like a lunatic.' The Emperor wears no clothes.

I actually have pretty hard time choosing favourites for anything, but I'll try haha

For favourite game, I'd say the new Mineral Town remake. I really like the quality of life improvements (it has shortcuts exactly where I wanted them while playing the OG games!) and new events.

I also prefer the way the dialogue is translated compared to the original games. Though, I can't say that I don't miss the sudden german from Carter and "Have you ready Basil books?" lol

I like the overall look of the remake as well - it's cute~

It's a shame they took the rival events out tho

As for favourite characters. Oh gee, that's very hard... Maybe, Ellen and Eda? They remind me of my granny a lot, so I visit them almost every day with gifts whenever I play their games haha
