Told my friends on messenger about Maple Syrup and they started making fun of me and this happened
They said that if I had Maple Syrup that I'd be up all night and I responded with 😏 and then so they said I picture him with his shirt off and I was like "noooo I picture us cuddling watching Turbo, The Office, and James Charles videos" and so this asshole created a poll 😭😭

obsessed with thinking abt young leif and bertbert and the song problems by mother mother.
straight off the intro it’s “you and me we’re not the same/I am a sinner you are a saint” <- mostly from the perspective of leif, it just encapsulates the entire series imo. he meets bertbert. they’re the same. they’re not the same. he’s a sinner. he saved his planet (in the back of his mind he betrayed it - committing the ultimate sin in the eyes of humanity/himself; it doesn’t matter. he defines himself by it constantly.) she’s a saint. she comes from a planet that is literally a utopia. she’s trying to find purpose in the world and align the world to her good moral values and meets someone who’s as smart as her and understands her on a level she can’t find anywhere else (her primary friend for years; she’d never admit it). she hates him and loves him and they both know they have a part of themselves in each other.
“I’ve found love in the strangest place…I say I’m gonna stage a great escape” <- finds bertbert and verge; leif always escapes/leaves/says he’s going to leave but does he really(?)
“let loose a love all pent up and painfully out of place” <- leif esp in ep 8 with his father. always painfully out of place and nowhere to put his love for the world or his family that shunned who he was.
“doo doo doo, I’m a loser, a disgrace/You’re a beauty, a luminary, in my face” <- playful aspect of the song. I think leif plays that part of their dynamic off as a joke but knows it’s painfully true with bert bert. he is who he is but he might still internalize it. or at least from an audience perspective, there’s an idolization of what berts does and how much he admires her and her work esp from how she’s described as a character. she’s constantly working towards a beacon of truth and justice. she’s a beauty. she’s a luminary. she’s literally always in his face. he’s a loser, a disgrace.
“I’ve got a lot, not a lot, I gotta lot less than a lot/I’ve got problems” they both have problems. they both try to play off that they don’t. they both have a lot of problems.
ending it w the first verse but also saying the whole vibe of the song is very Them. chaotic alt rock and fun melodies harmonizing. also features loud yelling with sweet almost nostalgic melodies.

Some interesting potential occurred to me. (Bits of it already occurred before, but the Owl House finale really added something interesting.)
Within three-four years of the main events of Season 3, Gus has set up an exchange program between the Demon Realm and the Human Realm. So humans can have the opportunity to visit and learn about the Boiling Isles while witches and demons can do the same for Earth.
Marcy moved to Hopkinton, MA after the end of the Amphibia adventure. (And it is pretty much canon that The Owl House and Amphibia share a universe.) Imagine if she heard about the opportunity and drove out (a few hours away to Gravesfield, CT) to sign up and check out this new fantasy world.

glad i'm not the only one who got autistic jumin vibes. as soon as i got the one phone call where he's like "mm i don't like 'comfy clothes'. i prefer to be restricted in some way" i just oh Pressure Good is such a neurodivergent mood
he is SO autism ♡
because of his status he was forced to suppress all of his special interests :( not to get too deep into his backstory (mild spoilers here), but his mother took drastic measures to try to force him to act like a "normal" kid. not to mention his own father calling him a robot and implying he isn't human.
he values V so much because he struggles connecting to people and so he fixates on the few that he can trust wholeheartedly with his true self....
he just wants to parallel play with you and maybe host a PowerPoint night on cats or on dark magic and that's so neat of him. my aroacespec autistic king.

oh, do i know zen? yes, teo. zen is my ex. no, don’t worry i’m with you now. but since we’re talking about exes..
do you remember the woman that you accidentally switched phones with? oh yeah, she’s my ex too. oh also, do you remember the guy that kept calling her phone? i think you had a quick chat with him. yeah, he’s my ex too. i kinda dated them all at the same time frame. no, not at the same time. it’s difficult to explain.
why did we brake up? oh you know, the relationship just hit the end point, you know? the specific point where you knew the relationship could technically continue, but it still was the end. yeah, it’s hard to explain.
have i ever wanted to get back together with them? yeah, i did. but i’m with you now! please, don’t worry :)
i still haven’t decided if our relationship is something i would want to go back to once it ends though..
what? no, no, no. i’m just saying that with you i feel like it would take, i don’t know, maybe 200 days to really get to know each other. yeah, ha ha, random number. i’m just a random person ha ha ha..
but no, please, don’t worry about my exes, teo. i can’t date them even if i wanted to. which i don’t ha ha, obviously.

Throwback to the one time we had to give a presentation on our favorite book in class, read an excerpt and explain why it’s our favorite book. So I thought I’ll do Son by Lois Lowry (I ADORE that book), literally no one knows that the Giver is a series, no one knows about the Giver Quartet. Great time to share and convince others to read and nobody will know about it guarantee.
The first person goes.
She reads Son by Lois Lowry.
I found the one other person that has read that series.

Look I like Saeran’s after ending as much as the next person but in my opinion he should get a second dlc (an after-after ending if you will) where instead of unrelenting angst with an excess of profoundly horrific endings that you can inadvertently stumble into by pressing a wrong button there is no plot you just get to build a happy life with Saeran and instead of pre-programmed responses everything is open-ended so you can tell him how much you love him in your own words and instead of four days it’s for the rest of time and instead of a game it’s real life Cheritz please I just want to be with him
