P.O.W. JESSICA LYNCH RETURNS TO THE U.S.

Jessica Dawn Lynch served as a United States Army soldier in the 2003 invasion of Iraq as a private first class. On March 23, 2003, she served as a unit supply specialist with the 507th Maintenance Company when her convoy was ambushed by Iraqi troops. SCOTT C. BONE – 10TH GOVERNOR OF ALASKA TERRITORY

Scott Cordelle Bone was the tenth governor of the Alaskan Territory. He was officially inducted on June 15, 1921 and was in office until June 16, 1925. He was appointed by President Warren G. Harding. There is little information about Scott Bone’s life, but the information that is out there is impressive. While many people believe it won’t happen to them, over 800,000 people are victims of vehicle theft each year. It’s often assumed that it is less likely for a car to be stolen in Alaska than in other states. Unfortunately, that is not the case. July is Reduce Vehicle Theft Awareness Month, which is fitting considering vehicle theft is most prevalent during the summer months. On July 4th, 1776 the Continental Congress officially adopted the Declaration of Independence. Thus, the day is remembered as the true start of America’s independence from Britain. The day has been set aside to celebrate freedom since this momentous day.
