DK blinks at the pair of mushrooms dropped into his hands before looking up at Funky skeptically.
“Aw, c’mon, Funky. I can totally handle more than two!” He insists with a challenging grin. He’s had a couple of trips before, both good experiences with the average amount but he’s ready to take it to the next level!
“You underestimate me.” He tells the other ape, popping the mushrooms into his mouth anyway and swallowing them whole before showing Funky the inner contents of his mouth, tongue and all. “See? All gone!” He bumps the blonde furred primate on the shoulder with his own, another attempt to convince Funky to give him more.
“C’monnn, I’ll help you at your body shop for a week if ya give me two more.~” DK tries.
Funky raised a brow at DK, not at all convinced. "More than two is like...more brain cells than you possess, Lil'D." Still, he's not the be all end all kind of guy. That's why he's funky.
Watching DK inhale the two shrooms, he waits with arms crossed a moment to assess the damage like a responsible shrooms dealer. "Hmm..." Taking the extra mile to lean in and grab the other's face, squeezing his cheeks to force his mouth open and peer in and make sure there was no 'hiding' going on, Funky snorts and lets go with a sigh.
"...make it two weeks. One per mushroom." The tone of his voice suggests there's no negotiations.
He gives DK's cheek a fond side scritch before moving the same hand down to lift the other's palm up and drop two more mushrooms in. "I better not have to come get you." He warns before taking the funky way out and boarding off into the sunset via a thick tree limb.
