Things to consider about the São Paulo show:
Security was AT IT. At the earliest sign of someone feeling unwell, the Fire Dept (in charge of first aid during concerts) would remove the person from their place, and start helping them.
The security was strict with wristbands between Pista Comum (general area) and Pista Premium (closer to the stage area), but to avoid crowds and having one section overcrowded.
There was police at sight, looking for possible suspects to incite chaos and etc (for a majority LGBT+/women crowd, very nice).
There was Children&Youth Ministry workers checking ID's to make sure no alcohol was being sold to under age fans.
Water was being handed out at ANY time, in quantity. Small (sealed) bottles and individual (sealed) cups.
The security kept the side doors open to help the air circulate on top of the AC on.
A lot of fans that camped had to be removed and caused Louis to stop the show twice, the second time taking about 5-10min to return because, according to fans themselves, most of them didn't eat during camping, nor kept hydrated in fear of going to grab a bite and losing their spot. Some (a lot, actually) fans reported that other fans were assaulting them, getting brutal to say, to get people to leave their spot so friends could sneak in. Some fans reported that after going through all that and making to barricade, this group got physical and scratched them and etc to make them leave barricade. I hope life pays back in a much worse way.
Food was being served at the venue (which, now that I consider, I don't know if it was something available in other cities, might not be a big deal, but if you weren't feeling ok, there was fries, burgers, and some typical brazilian finger food to be purchased).
I can't confirm, but according to friends present at the Rio show, the vibe was the same (about security, safety and well-being).
General thoughts no one asked for:
He seemed EXTREMELY in awe of the crowd, the projects (no new project) and his surroundings. Was very, very, very, eager to enjoy every bit of it - and not that he doesn't in other locations, was just nice to see, and making sure that not only the crowd was having a good time, but let it be known that he was, too.
Brazil said "kids rights" and Louis replied right back, "kids rights".

You guys rlly don't realise how much knowledge is still not committed to the internet. I find books all the time with stuff that is impossible to find through a search engine- most people do not put their magnum opus research online for free and the more niche a skill is the less likely you are to have people who will leak those books online. (Nevermind all the books written prior to the internet that have knowledge that is not considered "relevant" enough to digitise).
Whenever people say that we r growing up with all the world's knowledge at our fingertips...it's not necessarily true. Is the amount of knowledge online potentially infinite? Yes. Is it all knowledge? No. You will be surprised at the niche things you can discover at a local archive or library.

People against piracy fail to realize that no, I can’t just ‘buy it.’ They stopped making DVDs and Blu-Rays. They’re barely offering digital copies for download. I am not spending money I could use for food or bills to pay for a subscription service just so I can always have access to a beloved piece of media. Especially not when the service will remove media on a whim without concern for how the loss of access to that piece will make its artistic conservation nigh impossible.
For example, I recently learned that Disney+ had an original film called Crater. It’s scifi, family friendly, and seems cool - I would love to buy it as a holiday gift for my little brother! But: it’s exclusive to D+ and THEY REMOVED IT LITERALLY MONTHS AFTER ITS RELEASE.
The ONLY way I can directly access this film is through piracy. The ONLY available ‘copies’ of this film are hosted on piracy websites. Disney will NEVER release it in theaters, or as something to buy, and it may NEVER return to the streaming service. It will be LOST because we aren’t allowed to purchase it for personal viewing. If I can’t pay to own it, I won’t pay for the privilege of losing it when corporate decides to put it in a vault.
So yes, I’m going to pirate and support piracy.
