you grunt when you hit the ground. pain blooms through your ankle immediately, spreading through your leg and down your foot. “oh my god, are you okay?” your dancer kneels down next to you, holding a hand out to help you up. “i’m so sorry, i didn’t mean to trip you.”

“it’s okay, i didn’t see you either.”

you wince when you try to put weight on your right ankle. “are you okay?”

“yeah, i just think i hurt my ankle.”

“let me go find a medic.” you nod, limping over to lean against a wall while you wait for help. you can hear her bounding footsteps as she runs back to the studio with an emt following closely behind her.

“can you stand on it?” he asks, helping you take your shoe and sock off. hues of red and purple have already begun spreading along the skin. the dancer you tripped over nervously hovers behind him, grimacing at the sight of your foot.

“not really,” you wince when he presses down against the bone. “it hurts when i try to put weight on it.”

he nods, standing up. “i’m gonna go get some ice and then i'll wrap it. tell me if you notice any intense swelling or if the pain gets worse. you'll be off of it for a few weeks.”

“here, let me help you,” she says, supporting your weight with her own body.

“thanks,” you whisper, letting her guide you to a nearby chair. she pushes another chair over to you, helping you lift your leg up onto it.

“are you gonna be okay here?”

“i’m alright, thank you so much.” she nods, lowering her head into another apologetic bow before she leaves.

you’re left alone in the room for a few minutes before heeseung bursts through the door. “y/n,” he gasps, rushing to your side. he’s frantic, eyes wide and hair disheveled. he wraps his arms around you, pulling you into a hug. “i heard about what happened, i’m so sorry i wasn’t there.”

“it’s okay.” you reach over to grab his hand, squeezing it.

“does it hurt?”

you shake your head. “it feels better with the ice.”

“how long will you be off of it?”

“they said it keep it elevated and put ice on it. they’re about to come back and wrap it for the next few weeks.”

heeseung leans down to press a kiss against your temple. “i’m glad you’re okay.”

you yelp as you fall, hitting the ground hard. your knee hits the ground first. pain immediately spreads through your leg. “y/n!” jay is quick to rush to your side, helping you sit up. you wince, failing to stand up. tears brim your eyes as you cling to jay. “are you okay?” he whispers.

“i hurt my knee.”

“can you stand?” jay helps you up as you slowly stand on your feet. you feel off-balance, pain still stinging through your leg.

“it hurts.” you can see jay share a concerned glance with jungwon, calling a manager over.

“we’ll get you to a hospital, okay?” her voice is quiet. she’s almost overwhelmingly sweet as she helps you into the backseat of a car before climbing into the front.

the emergency room smells of hand sanitizer and rubbing alcohol as you wait to be seen. curtains surround your bed though they do little to provide you with any sort of privacy from the other patients. jay’s hand holds yours, fingers intertwined together. “you’ll be okay.” he whispers, pressing a kiss against your temple. “i promise.” you can tell he’s nervous by the way he squeezes your hand a little tighter than usual.

finally, a doctor enters. she has thick black-rimmed glasses pushed high up on her nose. her shoulder-length black hair is tied back into a low ponytail. “l/n y/n?” she asks. you nod. “can you tell me what happened?”

“i fell on my knee during a missed stunt.”

her hands are cold as she pushes the fabric of your pants up, pressing against your now swollen knee. you wince when she presses around the area. “does it hurt when you straighten your leg?”

“yeah. it hurts to stand on.” she hums, marking down a few notes on a clipboard.

“i’m gonna do an x-ray just to make sure nothing is broken. it sounds like a torn medial collateral ligament.”

“what’s the treatment for that?” jay asks. he squeezes your hand reassuringly when you nervously glance up at him.

“we’ll put on a knee brace. you’ll be on crutches for a few weeks.”

“thank you.” the doctor curtly nods before she leaves, closing the curtain behind her.

jay wraps you into a hug, letting you bury your head into his chest. “it’s gonna be okay. it’s only a few weeks.”

“i don’t want to let anyone down.” you whisper.

he lifts your chin, making you look up into his eyes. “you could never do that. you’ll wear the brace and then you’ll get better and start performing sooner than you realize.”

you nod, pulling him back into a hug. “thank you.”

jay presses a kiss against your forehead. “anything for you.”

the pain in your leg is sharp. it burns - stinging each of your nerves with each movement you make. you wince, shifting your weight onto your left leg. jake’s hand ghosts against your lower back, coaxing your to lean against him instead.

“let’s take a break. we’ll pick it up again in five?” your choreographer announces. murmurs of agreement ripple throughout the group as jake helps you to sit down next against the wall.

“is everything okay?” he whispers.

“yeah, just pulled a muscle.”

“i’m sorry baby.” his hands feel warm against your skin as he moves the fabric of your pant leg out of the way, massaging the sore muscle. “take it easy for the rest of the day, okay? it’ll get even worse if you try to push yourself too hard.”

“i will.”

“babe,” jake opens his arms, gesturing for you to lay with him. you comply, making your way back over to him. you lean against his chest as he rubs your back. “how’s your leg? does it still hurt?” you hum, voice muffled by his hoodie. jake chuckles. “i’ll take that as a yes.”

you pull away a little, moving to lean against his shoulder. “it still stings a little.”

“come on,” jake shifts so you’re laying on your stomach. “let me take care of you.” you chuckle, letting him maneuver you onto the bed.

jake leans over you so his knees are pressed against your side. his hands are gentle as he presses them against your back. they feel warm through the thin fabric of your t-shirt. “you’re so tense,” he whispers. you can almost see his furrowed eyebrows and slight frown as he slightly increases the pressure.

you sigh, relaxing further into the bed. jake moves lower down your body, from your shoulders to your back and eventually down to your calf. slowly, the pain dissipates from your leg until the numb feeling is no longer there.

he moves off of you, giving you room to roll onto your side. “better?” jake asks.

you smile, pulling him into a quick kiss. “much better. thank you.”

“i love you.”

“i love you too.”

you gasp when you trip, tumbling off of the edge of the stage. pain shoots through your ankle when you clamber to your feet as you force yourself to stand back up. a staff member rushes to your side, quickly followed by sunghoon.

“that was a hard fall, i want you to get checked out by a medic.”

“but-” your manager’s concerned look is enough to make you stop resisting, instead letting sunghoon support your body weight as you wait for the emt.

“are you okay?” sunghoon asks. you sigh, avoiding eye contact.

“i can’t believe i fell off the fucking stage.”

“hey,” sunghoon moves so he’s standing in front of you, lifting your chin so you’re looking at him. “don’t talk like that. you made a mistake. it’s okay.” he strokes his thumb against your cheek, wiping away a stray tear you hadn’t realized had fallen. “we’ve never practiced here before. it’s not your fault.”

you nod, letting his words console you. your ankle is already deep shades of red when you remove your sock and shoe. despite how gentle the emt is when he presses against the bones of your ankle, pain immediately shoots through your body. you flinch, tears building in your eyes. sunghoon rubs a hand against your back. you cling to his body as the medic looks up at you.

“it looks like a hairline fracture,” he says. “it’ll take a few months to heal. we’ll get you some ice to put on it for now and then you’ll need to get an x-ray done.”

“thank you.” he nods sympathetically at you before leaving, taking his bag with you. sunghoon presses a kiss against your temple, letting you lean further into his touch.

“it’ll be okay. i promise.”

“what about the concert?”

“don’t worry about it.” he lifts your face so you’re looking up at him. “you just focus on getting better, okay? engene will support you either way.”

“i love you.”

sunghoon presses another kiss against your forehead. “i love you too.”

Regarding your issue, I understand you a lot, because my last year before entering university also was like that. I don't know how your country's education system will work, but whatever it is, university is not the only path in life. There are many people who have moved on without a career or something; and above all prioritize your own health! I understand that you want to get good grades, but if you overwork yourself you will only block your brain and not allow it to function well because it will be exhausted since it has no rest. Good luck, and take life easy, it's only one life you have and you have to enjoy it!

CASTIEL

He didn’t start caring about his grades until he saw that he failed almost every subject during the first months of classes. Sigh… he can’t let that happen.

Initially, there was a contrast between you and him. He was the stereotypical rebellious kid who didn't care about classes, and you were that student who was always keeping up with the class. Castiel is aware of how much effort you put into studying. Many times he would tell you to come to his house to spend time with him, and he would let you study on his desk for a while without any problem. Of course, he is strict about breaks and insisting that you give your little head a rest.

He will even quietly kiss your head spontaneously as you are focused on studying, to cheer you up however he can.

Castiel feels confusion when he sees that a grade matters so much to you to the point of breaking down over it. He doesn't blame you, but considers that you don't deserve so much pressure regarding grades. As he looks you in the eyes and pulls your hair out of your face, he would say "Come on, life doesn't end because of a grade. You're human, not a machine; although sometimes machines fail too. But so what? We can't be good at everything. Ask for help, don't give up." You can feel his hand cupping your chin to make you look at him. And you can see the worry and affection on his eyes.

He's concerned about how this issue affects your mental health. After every test you take, he would take you somewhere for a date so you don't get over stressed. A break for your own good never hurts.

In Castiel's opinion, college is overrated; but he knows you are capable. More than once he will have had deep conversations with you about "You're already too hard on yourself, don't drown yourself in an abyss of negativity before you start something you want."

Even if you didn't go to college, that wouldn't make you any less human. And there's nothing wrong with that.

Castiel would support you no matter what your decision, though he'd rather you take things more lightly. He doesn't like to see you stop enjoying your actuality because of the stress of school.

NATHANIEL

Nathaniel's strict prioritization of his studies was mainly because of his father, but Nath had inner desires that went against the stereotype that he was.

During class he already noticed that you felt some frustration when you received your test grade. His hand rested on your forearm and he looked at you with concern. "Hey, what's wrong?"

When you explain your disappointment in reference to your exam grade, he sighs and shakes his head. "Get that thought out of your head, dear.... No grade is perfect and everyone has their strengths and weaknesses." He strokes your back gently, in order to comfort your state of mind.

If you're struggling with something, he has no problem helping you to understand it. He makes dates to study with you in a cafe <3 (he would end up inviting you to dinner or a drink in the cafe itself). And never feel ashamed of failing! Everyone does and there are always opportunities to improve. If there aren't, then life goes on; don't get stuck in the past.

Whatever grade you have, it will be something Nathaniel will congratulate you on. What matters is that you tried!

Nathaniel knows that having a good healthy schedule for your homework and study management will be what helps you get to college. He supports you, as long as you don't break your boundaries. Don't set expectations, don't compare yourself, just do what you can without pushing your limits and you can get to where you want to be.

Another thing Nath would also do is to talk to the teachers so that they can help you in those subjects that are more difficult for you, and he could accompany you if you wanted. Anyway, he does it for your sake and seeing that you also put dedication makes him feel happy and proud. At the end of each day, before you each leave for home, he would give you a little kiss on the forehead and say "Good job today."

LYSANDER

Lysander takes everything calmly, even studies. During classes he takes light notes, but generally listens to the teachers. Not ironically, his memory does not usually fail when it comes to his studies. Likewise, he is not a strict person with his schedule and he will see that you are quite strict with yours. Why do you study so much if your brain needs a break?

Lysander has no problem accompanying you to the library, but he insists that between assignments you take certain breaks. More than once he will tell you "Don't be so hard on yourself, it will have negative consequences in the future."

After each study session he sings to you to relax in his arms, to take your mind off anything study related and get some rest.

Lysander believes that you shouldn't look so much into your future, since the present is already unpredictable enough without planning for something stable in the future. You build your way towards that goal you have, but you will always encounter some difficulty along the way. He knows that your grades are that difficulty that keeps you from moving forward in terms of your hopes of going to college.

"Honey, do what you can; what matters is that you tried. Life goes on, sometimes you have to take shortcuts or other paths that don't allow you to reach your goal. But it will never be your fault, since you already know that you have done your best" He would tell you while caressing the back of your neck. "Be proud of yourself and stop criticizing yourself so much. You don't value yourself enough to see that you are capable enough to put so much effort into things; and that is what should be valued the most."

KENTIN

Oh no, he's not going to let your little oretty face fill with sadness over something as annoying as grades. He understands that you want to go to college and he will certainly encourage you to follow your dreams; but in moderation! He would suggest that you come to his house to study with him, or to the library, and then he would reward you with cookies.

Kentin will force you to take at least two or three hours a day for yourself. You know what they say about playing sports for a while a day so you can exercise your concentration? Well Kentin believes it and will encourage you to join his routines so you can concentrate better and study in less hours than extending them to the point that it affects you negatively.

There's nothing more upsetting for Kentin than seeing you cry over a grade. "Hey, nooo, listen, you're more than enough, don't let a grade ruin your life! You're very disciplined, I'm sure that facet already opens many doors for you even if you don't make it to college" He would tell you as he cradles your cheeks in his hands.

He's going to kiss your tears, he's not going to let you be sad for long.

Kentin is very involved in you taking some time out of your day just for you. He invites you to his house to take a nap, or to go practice sports with him, or bake cookies in his kitchen. But he also supports you to study and spend time studying; but he offers you the idea of balance your organization so that you can clear your mind and have a more positive mindset.

ARMIN

Maybe Armin is a bad influence when it comes to giving school advice?- He would literally tell you to focus on being happy and leave all those worries behind you. In fact, he supports that idea of; if it makes you feel bad, leave it.

But he knows he can't be such a bad influence and push you to make decisions that distract you from your path for so long.

It confuses him why you care so much about your grades. He witnesses all the effort you put into studying, since during exams time he can barely see you :(. Usually because he always brings his console with him, and that's going to distract you from studying. He doesn't mind being patient; he will always send you messages of support when you go to study!

It took him a while to realize that it really is an issue that affects you, but when he saw that it was serious, ah-ah, don't even think about overworking. "You know what happens to a character when they run out of stamina? They feel weak, they can't cope well with situations and they need rest. So do you!"

The easiest way he has to distract you is to write you a message in discord and saying “hop on terraria, bb” (or any other game). But he can completely adapt to those things you enjoy doing! He doesn’t mind (even if it is out home he is gonna whine a lot)

No matter the grade you get on an exam, he is gonna clap at you and feel very happy for you. Sometimes he’d make you blush from embarrassment at how loud he can be… But still, he is very proud of you. And he is not gonna hide it!

“Oh, hey, what’s with that pout? Come on, smile! You did such a great job.” He speaks in such a sweet way that it barely looks like him, but he wants to make you smile, to squeeze you in between his arms. “Never give up, you are strong enough to deal with this and more! But do it at the needed pace to not drain yourself, remember?”

• Haley loves watching movies with you, it's one of her favorite past times! Her love for photography definitely pushes this forward, loving movies that have beautiful cinematography. However, she does love to relax with some cheese-y movies from time to time! She doesn't really mind, as long as she's curled up with you!

• The only movie genre Haley actually hates is sci-fi. It's too much for her, she hates that there's so much established stuff that she feels like she's missing out on most of it. She also despises reboots or adaptations. They never seem like they're actually trying to tell an original story, it's always missing some aspect of passion. She will absolutely dread watching any movie like that, but she'd begrudging watch it for you. Don't expect her to pay attention, her eyes would pretty much entirely on you.

• She loves analyzing movies and their beautiful cinematography. Wes Anderson movies are incredibly interesting to her, with such unique vibes and bright colors. It's absolutely fantastic to her, and she cannot get enough. Sometimes she'll ask you to pause it for a moment so that she can snap a picture on her phone for later inspiration. Please, ask her what she thinks about it, because she probably won't tell you unless you ask. She'll explain in a soft tone, sounding incredibly passionate about it. It's nice to hear her talking about something she loves, you adore that voice.

• However, if she's stressed, she's going to relax with movies like Legally Blonde or Clueless. She enjoys the cheesiness of them, but she has to admit, it's definitely well written. If you tease her about her choices, she'll retaliate with something equally embarrassing, but she'll say it with a smile. She really does love you, and she definitely shows it through teasing. And she'll hit you with a roast ten times better than yours.

• Most nights, she asks you if you'd like to watch a movie and then she'll break out a list of movies that she enjoys, she thinks you'd enjoy, or that you've both never seen before. She'll put one on, and rest her head on your shoulder. Most often than not, she'll intertwine hands with you and squeeze it occasionally. She loves that she has someone to share these experiences with now, she doesn't have to everything by herself. She has the best company in the world. Movie nights with Haley mean a lot to her, and she loves spending time with you like this.

OPINION ON MCL ALTERNATE LIFE ARMIN EP 3

I rarely if ever talk about MCL on my tumblr, simply because i have stopped playing it long time ago.

But hearing that my first ever otome crush, armin, was coming back, i have decided to play his alternate life route. And i liked everything about it.

The angsty tension of episode 1, the sweet fluff of episode 2. And i had expected i would like episode 3 just as much.

Oh, how wrong i was.

Seriously, the episode started well. Armin and Candy were having a conversation in her room. Alexy comes and Armin hides because.....euh.......just because. Thankfully, the hidden relationship doesnt last long as Alexy bust them pretty quickly.

And you know how much beemov love their hidden relationships.

MC tells Armin she is scared and wants to have more time together before they officially get back together. And Armin tells her he never stopped loving her all these years. And that's super sweet.

Anyways, 300 AP wasted on how to eat cupcakes and both of them decide to go to cosy bear café to the cupcake workshop.

For now everything is well. Then comes Clemance and the jealousy bullshit. And I'm like, why?!

If we chose to not make him jealous and focus on our cupcakes: Which is the best of the two endings in my opinion.

why doesnt he say anything to clemance? Do we really have to intervene to make her stop ? Can't he say something to her?

Something like "Excuse me, maam. But you are being overly touchy feely and that makes me uncomfortable." But no candy needs to be the one to intervene to stop her.

Cause of course, if a man does not have a girlfriend you are free to touch him as much as you want. 😒

Anyways, all ends well, Candy and Armin goes to the park to decide who has the best looking cupcakes. Armin loses and MC asks him to kiss her. He happily accept, he tells her how much he loves her and that he does not wanna live without her ever. How much her not being in his life for 3 years made him feel like he was carrying a heavy weight etc.

They kiss and finally officially get back together yay!

Now to the worst ending.

If you decides to make him jealous by flirting with poor hyun.

I mean why would she do that? That's so toxic.

Yes,armin has never gotten jealous.

Yes,i did wanna see armin jealous since episode 33 of HSL.

But not like that. It was so childish and cringe. And poor Hyun who really thought MC was into him.

Anyways MC ends up not focusing enough on her cupcakes and they look horrible. After the end of the workshop, Armin is angry and he takes MC to his appartement, locks the door while looking at her with an animalistic gaze (her words not mine), and tells her that seeing her seducing another man has made him angry and horny and she needed to take responsability for that.

Um...Mister...slow down. Because:

1-You two are not dating yet. She told you she was feeling scared and not ready yet.

2-You did not even have your first kiss yet. (The mall one doesnt count).

Anyways here, you get to choose if you have sex with him or not. I dont know what happens if you refuse and If someone knows please tell me.

But when you accept, the two have beastly, angry jealous sex on his desk.

And it was super hot, don't get me wrong. But this is not what i expected of their first time after a 3 year long breakup.

This is not sex between two people who had a terrible break up and spent 3 years missing each other only to finally find each other again.

I had expected something more.....vanilla.

I mean at least do it on the bed. At least tell her that you love her and officially get back together then do the crack crack boom boom.

But no, they do the deed, then Candy says "Wow, ok. My legs are still shaky. Best sex ever, lets get back together."

Anyways I hope you all get my point. I'm dissapointed.

It would have been better with some slight changes:

-MC and armin go to the cupcakes workshop.

-Clemance flirts with Armin but MC helps him before he has the time to say anything.

-They have fun baking together and laugh at how bad they both are.

-After the workshop they go to the park and the confession from the first route happens wirh the illustration.

-Then now that they are officially together, they go to his appartement to eat the cupcakes and watch a movie.

-They start making out and here you can have a choice of having sex with him or not.

-If you do, they have sex. It doesnt matter if its not that vanilla because here they had there confession, expressed their feeling and are officially back together. You get the nsfw illustration.

-If you dont want to do it yet, the two watch the movie and cuddle, have long converstations about super hero and video games and fall asleep cuddling on his bed.

End of the episode.

I have 8 OCs for MCL and every single one of them is for HSL (Okay, maybe Maisie is more for UL, but she's still new and she's also the only one who hasn't got a fanfiction, so she doesn't count 😭)

I write my fanfics only for myself and I don't intend to publish them anywhere anytime soon, especially since they are all in my native language, but I'm so, so in love with my OCs I think i would like to introduce them and their stories in a "quick" summaries soon :33 (and maybe eventually post some drabbles with them & their LI in the future, when i grow more confident with writing in English, who knows)

Also I probably will make OC for Priya in future, but I'm not sure about Rayan and Hyun because they aren't really my type so yeah... I'm a simp for Chani tho, so I'll write someone for her too, I just need to finish UL and LL first to get to know her better... 😫

But those posts about my OCs are just some plans for the future, because now I'm living my Armin's AL dream and can only think about my wonderful boy whom I missed so much sjajajjshhxakakakajznsnsnsn so i have no idea why i'm even telling you about all of this, just had the need to i guess

I get your opinion on Daniel, but I also feel he basically just pushes the "funny guy" driver now? Not as an insult at all, like it's clearly working for him, but if you check his Manager's Twitter, like 90% of what he's trying to use to get Daniel a seat at a frontrunner team is how marketable he is and fan engagement and humor etc. etc. But then in those same tweets, he also tries to overcome the fact that with the current grid ages, Daniel is getting older with "but he's also one of the most experienced and mature drivers on the grid" and I'm just like. How are you going to sell a guy who yells dildo through a crowded paddock, who draws dicks on his teammates' shirt at public events, who basically has the funny guy/frat boy reputation as one of the "most mature drivers?" I'm not saying his personality or trying to highlight his marketability is bad, but it doesn't add up when you're bringing up events like this while simultaneously saying "Look how much maturity he would bring to your team though!" (And again I'm not shitting on his personality at all. Like sometimes a good comedic relief can be fun. Sometimes we all need a laugh. I guess I'm just trying to point out that there are many contradictions in how he/his manager want him to be perceived?) I'm also just going to say that like his personality/humor fit in really well with the culture at Red Bull, but I don't think it would fit well with either of the other top two teams? Mercedes especially seem to keep their drivers fairly PR friendly, and Ferrari seems the same way tbh.

I’m not on twitter so can’t say anything about that😅 but that is one of my issues yes. Like I love how over the top Daniel can be but imo the frat boy humour doesn’t suit 1 a 33 year old man, 2 one of the most experienced drivers on the grid, 3 someone who needs to impress teams if he wants to return in 2024. Like Ferrari won’t accept that and merc is too serious for behaviour like that. Besides I personally don’t think Daniel would completely fit in with Redbull again (if not at all). And honestly if he can’t make his return I’m those three or maybe (big maybe) alpine, he should just not return imo. Cuz that would just be humiliating and it’d be better for him to drive in a different racing series.

Also I’m kinda tired of the whole ‘oh he’s such a marketable driver, any team would be lucky to have him’ like no, he isn’t scoring points for mcl this year, wasn’t going great last year either and in the end if he doesn’t show he can get those constructors points, he can be as marketable as can be but it won’t be worth anything to the teams cuz marketing doesn’t pay their logistics cost nor does it pay back part of their development which a good result in the constructors does do.. so yeah

Thank uuu so much for this request<33 I loove itt, cause YESS I AGREE, what a waiistt! The 2019 summer event was my all time fav event in all MCL because we finally had a beach date, but sadly the 3 deleted crushs weren't there :"") SOOO I'M SO GLAD TO WORK ON ITT!!

A beach date with MCL Boys🌊:

1-Castiel

-Sunglasses on and Private beach helloo😎

-No but😭we noticed that He reallyyy need privacy,and I understand that paparazzi and wild fans can ruin so many things and even cause dangerous things :/

-Love to swim hehe, almost never get out of the water😭(saame xD) and I believe he's a good swimmer^^

-The type to get a very nice color without even tryiiing, SO LUCKYY <3

-I also picture that he's a guy who get hot very easily! Soo yess not only he likes to have fun in the water but also it's his way to feel cold and better😭

-HERE FOR THE ICE CREAM!!

-Competitive as heilll, and hate to loseee soo some games at the beach gotta be one of his favourite thing!!

-Loves to tease Candy, will probably carry her by surprise and throw her in the water xD.

2-Nathaniel:

-Likes to walk on the hot sand for some reasons :3

Brooklyn Nets Have Received A Trade Request From Kevin Durant.

On Thursday, sources told that Kevin Durant, a franchise star, had requested the Brooklyn Nets for a trade.

On Thursday, sources told that Durant requested the trade personally from Nets owner Joe Tsai.

Rich Kleiman, Rich Durant’s business manager, informed that Sean Marks, the general manager of the Nets, is attempting to broker a trade with Durant.

The entire roster will be available to negotiate in trades as the Nets get ready to move one of the most valuable trade assets ever put up for sale, according to sources. Teams have been contacting Durant, and the Nets will undoubtedly seek a historically high return on their players and draft picks.

Kevin Durant has a few teams on his wish list, according to sources , including the Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns, but the Nets intend to transfer Durant wherever they can get the best possible deal. There are many teams ready to trade assets for Durant because his deal is for four years, so that option is plentiful.

The 2022–2023 season has a $44.1 million salary set aside for Durant, 33, who won’t be an unrestricted free agent until 2026.

It was expected that Durant would eventually want a trade, according to sources. He and Kyrie Irving had no communication with the Nets after Irving chose to sign his contract on Monday.

The Nets, who were widely predicted before the season to win the NBA title, concluded with a 44-38 record, good for seventh place in the Eastern Conference, and a playoff berth was assured by a victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers on April 12.

First-round action ended with a sweep by the Celtics.

The Nets played 247 games during the previous three seasons (including playoffs and play-in games). In just 58 of those games, Durant and Irving shared the court together (23 percent ).

Durant averaged 29.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 6.4 assists per game this season, however he only played in 55 games overall throughout the regular season due to an MCL injury.

According to Stats & Information, if he is traded, it would be the greatest scoring average by any player who began the next season on a different team since Moses Malone was dealt from Houston to Philadelphia following the 1981–82 season.

Additionally, sources told that the Nets had acquired Royce O’Neale from the Utah Jazz in return for a first-round pick in 2023. According to insiders, Utah will get the least desirable pick out of their own, Houston’s, or Philadelphia’s.

In his fifth season playing for the Jazz, O’Neale, 29, averaged 7.4 points and 4.8 rebounds.
