⚠️Long personal post. Inner child.⚠️

The first time I saw this type of plant I lived in Cali. One was outside of my grandmothers house (it was huge) and when she got guardianship of me, my mom came to visit.

🥃She hid her liquor bottle (probably drug paraphernalia too) in it.

👱‍♀️She had on a white tee with red trim around the edges, and jeans.

I remember thinking how beautiful she was—- how I had last seen her and how bad it all was for us.

🫀When she left she fell into the bush, cutting herself and staining her tee with bl0od as she was trying to retrieve what she had stashed.

🌵🪴Seeing this plant on a walk with my own daughter made a lot of memories suddenly flood my brain.

Instead of burying them— as many would.

As I used to…

🗣I shared how that one reminded me of her Grandma Ruth.

🗣I shared how I loved when she actually came to visit which wasn’t much and stopped completely before she passed.

🗣I shared how I loved having this time with HER and how happy it made my heart to see her also enjoy something I love.

❤️‍🩹I took a deep breath

And while walking around I loved on that little 5 year old girl inside of me.

The one who lived that experience and oftentimes had to be more grown up than any other kid around her—-

I let her be playful in the ✨present moment✨ with our own daughter.

🤓My therapist told me years ago how healing & feeling things we have turned off to survive—

can sometimes be like pulling a plug on a bathtub 🛀

You don’t get to pick one drop of water 💧 but all of it comes and it can be a mixture of the good, the funny, the painful, the trauma.

😳Why am I sharing this?

Because healing is not a destination with a finish line.

Making money is not a legacy.

Coming out of a life of survival and entering one of LIVING is scary and vulnerable…

You aren’t alone in your experiences and many people are unhealed and unwilling to even acknowledge it for fear 😨 so if you’re doing the work know that you’re stronger and braver than many people around you.

Some you may even seek approval from, or acceptance…

🌺🐝Be present.

Feel what you can feel, release and make room for what’s coming.

Trust in yourself enough to explore the unknowns.

I see you, I believe in you. I may not know you but I love you.

I just logged on & already— read a post where a lady attempted to be inspiring, I think that’s what it was supposed to be… 🤔 Saying your looks are your identity. 🤦🏽‍♀️ 🌷Baby, looks change, improve, fade— that’s never your identity. Life happens to us all and happiness or depression may not look the same on us all. Trauma & healing or survival may look different… 🌷It may not show up like obsessive workouts but chronic pain, or hyper independence, or stress may show up as early gray hairs, or joy may be happy lines on one’s face and tan lines that created memories and wrinkles… 🪴Your identity… It’s your character, values, actions, your morals that are linked to identity. 🏃‍♀️The physical is a component to that, a container if you will… I’m sad for those who believe that your body is the limit to the story your legacy has to leave behind one day, 😢 who push that narrative. I say that to say, just be careful who you allow in your ear (or on your feed). 🥰You’re worthy as you are, you’re lovable as you are, your weight doesn’t indicate health or mental wellness, makeup doesn’t show proof of happiness, your haircut or style doesn’t always translate the inner battles or true feelings of one’s identity. 😍Everyone is important and your feelings are valid. Look at that face 🐶🐕 They’re a mess, okay so! I’m often asked “How” can someone begin shifting their mindset, prep or begin their “awakening” or Spiritual Journey. 🪬The Akashic Records are such an incredible tool for healing, self-discovery & self-mastery, spoken about in many religious texts, and talks of quantum fields.

So no, they are not evil.
