Just a little thought...
Hayden is Liam’s Sun. His first love, the one who give him warmth and light, who give him a reason to fight for.
Mason is Liam’s Moon. His best friend, the one who light his way in the dark. Not as shiny as the sun but important too.
And Theo is Liam’s Truth. The one who can be cold and dark but will always be honest. The one who made his place in Liam’s heart and just stay because Liam learnt to appreciate him, even if he’s not perfect.

“I should have got a haircut.” Noah said as he examined his appearance in a small mirror.
“You know someone your age should just be happy to have hair to cut.” Stiles told him.
“I think you look great.” Scott told Noah.
“Well thank you son I should have had.” Noah told Scott causing him to smile at Stiles who looked slightly offended. I laughed at his fishlike expression.
“What the hell am I doing? This is a terrible idea.” Noah said trying to pull the tie from off his neck.
“What no.” I told him trying to swat his hands away.
“It’s one date. The town of Beacon hills won’t implode while you’re out with one woman.” Stiles told him.
“Or man.” Stiles added on. I smacked the back of Stiles head.
“It’s a woman Stiles.” Noah assured him.
“Okay.” Stiles told him.
“A very beautiful woman by the way.” Noah added.
“What beautiful woman by the way?” Stiles asked.
“None of your business. Any of you.” Noah said looking to where Scott and I were listening in.
“I wanna know.” Stiles told him with determination.
“Stilinski! Stilinski!” We heard screaming coming from outside Noah's office. We all walked into the bullpen. There was a punk in chains yelling at Noah.
“I’m going to kill you!” He yelled I stepped up between Noah and this asshole protectively.
“Donavan if you think that shocks me, remember it was well documented in your anger expression inventory. Deputies escort the prisoner out.” Noah instructed.
“I’m not angry like I’m going to throw a brick through your window. I’m angry like I’m going to find you, I’m going to get a knife and I’m going to stab you with it until you’re dead. And when you look at me and you ask me why, remember right now. Because this is why.” Donovan told Noah.
“Wow. That was awesome. That was awesome. That was great. Can you do another one maybe give us one more, maybe like Christopher Walken this time?” Stiles asked causing me to chuckle. Donovan stayed silent.
“No? Alright it’s fine. You’ll have plenty of time to work on it when you’re in a tiny little cell, you know. Just stuck there forever.” Stiles mocked him. Donovan smiled and shook his head at Stiles before breaking away from the deputies and charging him.
I was across the room in a heartbeat. My nose almost touching his as I stared him down grabbing hish shoulders and holding him back. His lawyer tried to pull me away but I pushed him off me with ease.
“You talk a big game for a little weakass punk.” I told him studying his face.
“Jamie.” Noah warned.
“No, he threatened my family so I want him to know what that means.” I told Noah. I turned back to the kid who at least had the decency to look wary of me.
“If you ever come within spitting distance of him or anyone else in this station I will rip your throat out myself. And when you ask me why, I want you to think back to right now when you threatened a good man for doing his goddamned job.” I told him. He scoffed at me. I brought my hand to his throat and lifted him subtly off the ground. His eyes widened in fear as I let my claws extend enough to push against the skin of his throat. I let him see my glowing eyes before I shoved him to the floor. I backed away as the deputies picked him up. Scott was at my side pulling me back to Stiles and Noah.
“What was that?” He asked.
“He threatened my family.” I told Scott.
“That’s not how we do things.” Scott told me.
“It might not be how you do things, but I’m not a true alpha and if anyone comes at my family I’ll gut them no hesitations.” I told Scott. Stiles clapped me on the back.
“I appreciate it Jamie but you didn’t have to do that.” Noah told me.
“Yeah well Donovan didn’t have to be a dick.” I said with a shrug. We all turned to watch as he was taken outside to the transport van.
-
Scott, Stiles and I were packed in the jeep. Scott and I were watching Stiles try and fail to get the jeep started.
“It’s anxiety.” Stiles told us as he noticed we were watching him with concern.
“What is?” Scott asked.
“The chemosignals. I’m well aware of how you all monitor my emotional state.” Stiles told us as he went back to trying to get the jeep to start. I looked up at Scott, the two of us sharing a look of concern for our friend. When it didn’t start again Stiles slammed his hand against the steering wheel.
“You okay?” I asked him already knowing the answer but wanting to hear him admit it.
“Alright. I got this from Braeden a few hours ago.” Stiles said handing over his phone. I took it and held it up so Scott and I could look at it. There were gruesome pictures of mangled bodies on the screen.
“That’s the first real bit of information that we’ve gotten on the desert wolf in months.” Stiles told us.
“The desert wolf did this?” Scott asked in shock.
“Yeah, and I’m the one that’s been pulling on this thread.” Stiles told us.
“Maybe you should stop.” I told him.
“It’s not up to me.” Stiles said turning the key one more time, the jeep finally turning over.
We got a call from the girls not long after we started the car. They had found the prisoner transport van in an alley.
WHen we arrived the cops were already there. So was Noah, apparently he had canceled his date.
“Scott, Jamie. You saw this kid Donovan. He wasn’t like you right?” Noah asked.
“I don’t think so.” Scott told him.
“I got pretty close and I didn’t pick up any werewolf scent.” I told him.
“He could know how to hide his scent.” Stiles said.
“Human or otherwise this kid might have just murdered his lawyer and mortally wounded two officers. We have an APB out on him but you think you two can find him faster.” Noah asked.
“I’m staying with you.” I told Noah.
“Jamie there’s no need…” Noah tried to tell me but I cut him off.
“Like hell. You were the one he wanted dead. He made that very clear. So I’m not leaving you alone until he’s found.” I told Noah.
“It’s okay. I can handle it.” Scott told Noah, who relented and gave Scott a walkie talkie letting him go off alone.
“Dad what if it wasn’t Donovan?” Stiles asked.
“I’m guessing you’ve already got a theory.” Noah told him.
“Yup.” Stiles confirmed before going into detail about how Theo did this.
“I don’t think you’re right Stiles. I don’t smell him near the wreck at all.” I told him. Then there was static over the walkie talkie.
“Scott is that you?” Jordan asked.
“Yeah, I found Donovan he’s completely freaked out. He keeps saying some name.” Scott reported.
“What name?” Noah asked.
“Tracy.” Scott reported completely destroying Stiles Theo theory.
“Tracy who?” Noah asked.
“Stewart.” Lydia answered.
-
The next day at school we gathered as a pack by the busses so Lydia could explain to all of us about this Tracy Stewart girl.
“Tracy wasn’t just having trouble sleeping. It was a real disorder. She had night terrors.” Lydia explained.
“Yeah, well now she’s the night terror especially seeing how no one can find her.” Stiles pointed out.
“Okay, I know we’re all tired and miserable…” Scott started to give us a pep talk but then his attention was drawn to Mason who had this childlike grin spread across his face. I couldn’t help but giggle at his enthusiasm.
“Except for you.” Scott said addressing Mason.
“Oh, I’m sorry. This is all just mind blowing. You’re a kitsune. I don’t even know what that is.” Mason told Kira with glee.
“I’m still learning.” Kira told him bashfully.
“Liam we said you could tell him, not invite him to the inner circle.” Stiles scolded.
“I’m in the inner circle?” Mason asked in awe.
“No.” Liam and Stiles cut him off.
“Oh come off him. Stiles you’re not supernatural and we still keep you around. Mason is the Stiles to Liam’s Scott.” I told them wrapping an arm around Mason to show I was letting him stay. Mason smiled at me.
“Liam told me you can turn into a wolf.” He said. I nodded at him.
“Wow.” He was over the moon about all this stuff.
“Alright, back to Tracy. She’s just one lone wolf. We can find her.” Scott assured everybody.
“One lone serial killing wolf.” Malia pointed out.
“She only killed one person. The other two were mauled.” Stiles corrected.
“True. It has to be three to be a serial killer.” I agreed with Stiles.
“What do we do when we catch her?” Stiles asked.
“I say we put her down.” Malia suggested.
“In this situation I’m down for that.” I agreed with Malia.
“Intense.” Mason said looking at everyone’s serious expressions. Even after all this talk of violence and death he still wore the expression of a kid in a candy store.
“Guys let's concentrate on catching her first. We’ll figure out the rest later.” Scott decided. It was a good a plan as any.
-
I was in the library doing research for my spanish project. My teacher had let a group of us go to work in there and I was partially using the time to nap after the crazy night I had. I was nearly asleep when Liam ran up to me in a frenzy.
“It’s Tracy. She’s in Mr. Yukimura’s classroom.” He reported slightly out of breath.
“We need to get Scott.” I told him standing up and shoving my books into my bag before taking off for the biology classroom with Liam hot on my heels.
Liam tried desperately to get Scott’s attention while I threw my bag into my locker down the hall. If I was going to be taking on a crazy wolf girl then I couldn’t have my spanish textbook weighing me down.
“She’s here. She’s in history class right now. Tracy’s here.” Liam was reporting from behind the classroom door. Scott excused himself from class and the three of us ran down the hall.
We made it to the history hallway. I told Liam to pull the fire alarm. We waited as the class began to file out. As the last of the students filed out Scott and Liam pushed their way through. I followed them standing beside Mr. Yukimura as we watched a sophomore girl try talking to Tracy. She was breathing heavy at her seat.
She grabbed the girl's arm as the three of us tried to walk closer. I could smell the blood. Tracy seemed to almost be in a trance as we approached her warily.
“Tracy. Hey Tracy.” Scott repeated her name while he tried to talk her down from whatever weird cliff she was standing on.
“You’re hurting me.” The young girl cried as Tracy’s grip only seemed to tighten around her wrist.
“Tracy let her go.” I told her sternly. She finally released her grip on the girl.
“They’re coming. They’re coming for all of us.” She said ominously before collapsing to the floor. SIlver liquid poured from her mouth.
“That’s a new one.” I noted as Scott ran to her side and lifted her up.
“I’m going with Scott. You good?” I asked Liam. He nodded and I ran after Scott and Mr. Yukimura who were carrying the unconscious Tracy down the hall. Stiles and Malia showed up as we walked opening the door for us and leading the way to the jeep.
-
“Pupils dilate under normal conditions. Heart Rate 250. Evidence of an allogeneic skin graft on the shoulder. This silvery substance at her lips is not something I’ve seen. It almost looks like mercury.” Deaton reported as he looked Tracy over. She shook on the table causing Stiles to lurch back.
“Can’t you just give her a shot of something?” Malia asked.
“She doesn’t look to be in any pain.” Deaton told her.
“I ment a shot to kill her.” Malia clarified.
“I generally prescribe to a code of ethics that frowns on such measures.” Deaton told her.
“Malia you know we’re not gonna do that.” Scott told her.
“How do you know she’s not going to kill us?” Malia asked him.
“She makes a decent point. Either way I’m eventually going to have to let my dad know she’s here.” Stiles said.
“Agreed. While I may argue against euthanasia, I’m not opposed to a little extra security.” Deaton told us before picking up a jar of mountain ash and creating a barrier around Tracy. Stiles stared at the line with concern.
“Don’t worry Stiles. Tracy won’t be able to cross a line of mountain ash. She’s not going anywhere.” Deaton assured him.
“That’s kinda what I’m afraid of.” Stiles told Deaton.
“Well you and I will be able to get out of here no problem. You three, not so much.” Deaton told Scott, Malia and I.
“Gee, thanks for that doc.” I told him with a sarcastic smile. Malia studied the barrier before reaching out to touch it. The force knocked her hand back.
“Weird.” She declared.
“Stiles would you mind holding her down? I’m going to be trying a few more invasive tests.” Deaton told Stiles as I stood and watched from Malia’s side. Deaton tried to run the blade down her arm but it broke off.
“I think you’re going to need a bigger blade.” Stiles told Deaton.
“This is interesting.” Deaton announced as he moved Tracy's neck to the side. Something was moving underneath her skin.
“Malia, Jamie, help me turn her over please.” Deaton asked. We both groaned but complied.
Deaton lifted her shirt up and I took a step back. Tracys spin seemed to be moving underneath her skin.
“I think I know what she is.” Stiles told Scott as we looked at Tracy's strange condition.
“Care to enlighten the rest of us? Because this doesn’t look to good.” Deaton told the boys drawing their attention away from whatever conversation they were having and to Tracy’s gross moving back.
Sudden;y Tracy’s back split open. I reeled back clinging to Malia just as she was clinging to me as we observed the monumental grossness that was Tracy’s spine moving around inside her. Suddenly a tail whipped out of the girl. It struck Stiles first sending him to the floor. Deaton was next to fall. Then Malia and I were struck and collapsed to the floor in a tangle of limbs. I could already feel the venom. The only good news was now we knew what she was.
“It wasn’t a werewolf.” Stiles announced unhelpfully.
“Kanima.” Scott figured. I rolled my eyes.
“Ya think?” I asked sarcastically as we all lay on the floor paralyzed.
-
“Hey Deaton, how the hell did she get through the mountain ash?” Stiles asked as we all struggled to move.
“I don’t know. It’s a barrier that no supernatural creature should be able to cross.” Deaton told him.
“Scott did it.” Stiles argued.
“Once, but it almost killed me.” Scott told Stiles.
“We should have killed her!” Malia yelled as she fought to move. I could smell the pure rage she was feeling due to her helpless state.
“Meanwhile she’s probably on her way to killing someone else.” Stiles said unhelpfully.
“Listen. Everyone we need to concentrate. Scott, Malia, Jamie, you three will probably be able to move long before Stiles and I can but you need to focus.” Deaton instructed.
“Focus on what?” Malia asked.
“Healing.” I told her.
“That’s right.” Deaton confirmed.
“I don’t know how to tell my body to heal.” Malia said starting to panic.
“Malia calm down it’s okay.” Stiles tried to sooth her.
“I can’t calm down. I can’t move.” She complained.
“It won’t last long. We’re going to be okay.” I told her.
“Doc, how do we focus?” Scott asked.
“Think of a body part. Your hands, your feet. Even just the tips of your fingers. Imagine them moving. See it in your mind and your body will follow.” Deaton instructed. We all went to work.
“Okay, I think I just felt my right leg move.” Stiles announced half an hour later.
“Yup, definitely felt it. It was like a twinge, spasm, something.” He told us.
“I’m going to have to disagree and I think I hold an informed opinion.” Deaton told him. His head next to Stiles legs.
“Malia?” Scott asked as her hand began to twitch. I could feel my claws extending.
“I don’t think she cut her as deep. I took most of it.” I told the others. Malia started to move up, my body slid from her lap as she stood.
“Malia? Malia, wait for us.” Stiles told her as she rose to full height.
“There’s no time.” She told Stiles.
“She’s not a werewolf.” Stiles warned.
“But she has a scent. I can find her.” Malia said with determination.
“Malia, save her.” Scott asked before I heard Malia run out of the clinic.
-
The clinic doors opened and I watched as Theo ran in. When he spotted us on the ground he ran to Scott's side pulling him up and propping him against the examination table.
“How did you find us?” Scott asked.
“You work here. I heard about Tracy. I’ve been looking for you.” Theo told him. Theo turned to help Stiles stand.
“No. No uh.” Stiles complained as Theo helped him up against the examination table too.
“We lost her.” Scott told him as he turned to help Deaton.
“And Malia.” Stiles added.
“Alright I can help.” Theo told them.
“This is Theo?” Deaton asked.
“Let me help.” Theo told Scott as he bent down for me. He pulled me up one arm wrapped tightly around my waist. I clung to him still not trusting my own legs to hold me up.
“Doesn’t mean I have to be part of the pack, like you’ve accepted me or anything like that. It just means I help catch this girl.” Theo told us. Stiles still looked wary but ultimately it was up to Scott.
“Scott. I can help you.” Theo told him pulling me closer as I started to slip. I brought a weak arm up to his shoulder to support my weight as best I could. Scott looked to Theo before finally nodding in agreement.

Can you believe that this time tomorrow, people all over will be a tempting to mentally and emotionally prepare themselves for the official end of teen wolf. I for one know for a fact that I will NEVER be ready and WILL be crying.

Season Six Rewrite | Memory Lost
Scott gulped as he entered the high school library. It wasn’t anything new, he’s done this several times after that night of the blue moon. Most times he couldn’t even enter and he’d have to convince his friends to bring out the books so they can study in the courtyard. Lydia stated it was Post-Traumatic Stress, and that it would take a while to feel normal in the area where he died or maybe never. Since the pack had stopped the Beast, saved Mason and bid their farewells to Kira, Scott has been neck deep in his studies. Thanks to a Lydia who put a few words in to her mother, he was able to proceed with the classes he missed. He was grateful of course, he thought after everything that happened he deserved a little bit of normality like catching up with work and school and having to stress about college applications. Speaking of, Lydia had been able to help both Scott and Malia for their applications as well as helping them get caught up and in with their studies. All in all it has been a blissful few months of normality and Scott hopes it lasts. The library like non other was noisy, it had people talking loudly and crashing books and even some stressed whisper yells. Of course even Beacon Hills library wasn’t safe from the abnormal. Most libraries, or at least ones Scott has seen on screen, were quiet and relaxing, and if anyone got too loud the librarian would hush them. Sitting around the table in the centre of the room were his friends, Lydia was laughing at something Malia had said, while Mason and Corey stacked books next to them. Mason, bless him, loved helping the seniors seeing how he was almost as or even smarter than them. “Mason, thank you but you know you don’t have to do things like this for us.” Lydia said smiling up at him. “You should probably help Liam, my mum told him he isn’t doing well either.” Scott sat on the seat on the edge of the table and watched Corey smile and place his hand on the lower back of his partner. “come on, Mase. Good luck studying guys.” Mason reluctantly walked of with his boyfriend. “They’re too sweet,” Scott voiced his thought as he opened up his backpack and got out his notebooks. Lydia agreed and looked at Malia who was tapping her pencil on the book in front of her trying to concentrate on the words. “Where’s Stiles?” Lydia asked Scott. It was a question that she knew the answer to but she asked anyway. Stiles hasn’t been wanting to study with them, he told them he had it in the bag already and was busy concentrating on helping his dad get better. “I don’t know, he didn’t say much when we parted.” Scott shrugged. He didn’t want to admit it but it was obvious there was a small strain in their friendship that was gapping as the days go by. The night at the hospital, it hurt Scott to even look at him in that moment. He couldn’t blame him, his dad was hurt, but the fact that he had gotten physical with him without a care in the world... it hurt Scott more emotionally than physically. Scott had forgiven him, internally but he was still patiently waiting for the words I’m sorry to come out of his mouth in order for Scott to let the massive pained grudge go.  “After last night, after Alex he’s been in to the whole supernatural thing again. – it’s not healthy you know? He’s leaving behind all the milestones we need to complete this year by focusing on the next big bad.” Scott stated worriedly. There was no arguing that he was worried about Stiles. They were all supposed to graduate and go to college together but Scott doesn't see that happening if stiles is avoiding every possible chance of even attending most of his classes. "Even I want to go to classes more than him." Malia mumbled rubbing out an equation she got wrong. Lydia had helped her understand most of AP calculus and written down a page of questions for her to answer. "Then again that could be because I want to get this over with as soon as possible and relax this summer." Scott smiled and Lydia laughed. "Don't we all. I'm having a hard time contemplating whether I want to stay here or go on a road trip to San Francisco." The two shapeshifters looked at Lydia with raised eyebrows. "Why road trip?" Malia asked. "Because? You're coming with me right? I mean why would we stay here and do nothing all summer?" She replied. She had a point, Scott thought. "Maybe,... if we find a way to disable the nemeton to stop it from attracting more supernaturals here. We can't leave the place with no protection." "Argent will be here." He shook his head at Malia. "He's still human. I don't want another corpse here, I don't want anyone to die doing the job I'm supposed to do." "We," Lydia corrected. "You maybe the true alpha Scott but you're not invincible." "Right," Scott muttered before opening his book and getting his highlighter ready. He felt the burning stares of the girls on him but he chose to ignore it. He could tell they knew he didn't believe her when she said that but there was no use fighting it when he knew at the end of the day it's him against what ever the world brought for him next. It's him that gets destroyed but still gets up to finish the job. He doesn't complain though, he may not have signed up for it but it's something he believes is his responsibility. To save everyone and make sure nobody dies is his responsibility. Soon enough Lydia and Malia turned back to their books and began revising, the conversation left behind. Scott enjoyed studying with them. Lydia didn't make it seem like he or Malia were dumb for not knowing something and Malia always found a way to lighten the mood and not make it seem like an overload. Even sitting a few feet from the exact spot he died on three months or so ago, he found comfort whenever Lydia used her soft tone or softly held his hand, like she used to, whenever he thought his head was going to explode. He found peace and a bit of sadness whenever Malia mentioned Kira in a casual way as if she was at home sick or something and not away for God knows how long with the skin walkers. Scott could tell Malia was fond of Kira and that in the past year they had formed a friendship too good for the world where they cared about each other and learned from one another. The same went with Malia and Lydia or Lydia and Kira. That was the difference between his pack and others. His pack were more than that, they were friends - family. They knew each other and respected each other. Scott, though being the alpha and leader, was sure he'd be lost without them. Without Stiles, Kira, Malia and Lydia. Without Liam and Mason and now his second beta Hayden and Corey. Scott could not express to them how grateful he was to them and he wishes he gets the guts to let them know before anything goes to shit. • A creak was heard from beneath Scott as he stepped into the abandoned house, with an eager Stiles by his side. The boy was desperate to prove everything that happened to Alex was supernatural and Scott wanted to believe him. He did because he felt it was supernatural in his heart too but he didn't want it to be. He hoped he wasn't being selfish for wanting to take a break from all the craziness of the world he was dragged in to. "Maybe Alex got the address wrong?" Scott suggested looking around at the dusty house. "Or maybe he lied." "Why would he lie?" Stiles gave him a look as if they both knew why he would lie. "He didn't lie." Scott said firmly causing the boy to sigh in deflation. He watched Stiles move around before turning to him, "Want to split up?" Scott almost choked on his breath realising what he had said. It took a moment for him to register it but eventually he nodded. But before either of the boys went in different directions, feet stomping towards them caught their attention. Scott turned to the direction it came from and got ready for a fight but instantly relaxed when he saw Mason ans Liam. "What the hell are you two doing here?" Stiles beckoned. "We – uh – we came to help." Mason nodded in agreement of his best friend. Somehow the alpha wasn't quite convinced, seeing Mason holding his hand behind him. Scott sighed. It doesn't take Einstein to know how badly the younger group wanted to be ready to be Beacon Hill's Protectors after Scott leaves along with the others. It got to the point of Mason hinting out wanting the bite from Scott, something he always has been and will be afraid of handing out. He knew Liam would keep him safe just like he had with Stiles so he had no reason to worry about him getting hurt. "Okay fine, but stay together and yell if anything happens okay? Look for any sort of clues we could use to find Alex's parents." With that they nodded and went their way. Scott gave Stiles a nod before walking around the bottom floor before heading upstairs. From a small window at the end of the narrow hallway he saw Mason walking about outside, Liam soon coming into view not a second later. A feeling of concern filled his chest when he heard nothing from downstairs, where Stiles was. So he intended on calling out to him but then he heard a small curse as he imagined Stiles walking into something. Shaking his head lightly he walked to the rooms surrounding him and checked them. All empty. No furniture, nothing. Getting another strange feeling about the place, he carried on. A door at one end of the hallway caught his attention, he hadn't checked that one yet but he doubt he would find anything. Instead he decided to quickly check by opening the door and swinging it open, his instinct to instantly close it stopped when his eyes caught the fully furnished room. Everything seemed all good and normal until he reached out to close the door but was stopped again, this time by a sound that he hasn't heard in person before. The nay of a horse. His eyes widened when he saw a large shadow appearing around the frame of the door. Instinctively he closed the door forgetting his supernatural powers for a second but he was glad he did because he heard the all too familiar sound of bullets being fired his way. He held the doorknob tightly making sure whole ever was on the other side wouldn't escape. Much to his surprise the bullets didn't come through, instead made dents on it. Suddenly the firing stopped and the sound of the brink of a storm began, wind and all. After everything dialled down Scott let out a breath of exhaust as he looked down at the door. The bullet dents were peculiar, he thought as he watched the glow green. Scott swung the door open and much to his surprise there was no sign of the horse nor the rider. What really shocked him was the emptiness of the room. They matched the others now, old looking and dusty, no furniture in place. When he closed the door again he guessed he must've made a lot of noise because Liam was running up calling his name, the other two in tow. "Scott. Are you okay?" "Yeah," he replied honestly. "But I think we need to have a word with Alex again." "Why?" "Because I saw them. Or him. I saw the horse and the man." • Scott let out a deep breath as he stepped back from under the rusting shower head in the boy's locker room. The lights were out and the only source of light was the moonlight coming from the small windows around him. He was alone in the room. The werewolf shivered as he dried himself off and headed towards his bag on the bench. Practice had ended close to an hour ago and because game season has began the coach had them work ten times as hard and long as before. So it was no surprise when it was past sunset when they finished. Quickly the boy put on his clothes and packed away his kit. He came to a stop when he realised his jersey was missing, why would his jersey be missing? He shook his head telling himself he'll talk to the coach or the team about it but first he had to leave and get home. There was commotion coming from the main school area when Scott entered it, leaving from the sports section. He passed a couple of boys he recognised in his team and walked over to them. "What's going on?" A boy in the middle, Jerry, shrugged and answered, "the police are here. Some kids found a dead body in the boiler room." He replied and looked at his mates. "This town's becoming some sort of blood bath nightmare if you ask me." His tone was humour filled but Scott didn't find the situation at all funny however he thanked him for the information and watched them pass him. That was when Scott saw something. His jersey number tacked on the back of Jerry's, his own last name Mateo placed above it replacing the McCall. "Hey! Wait, why are you wearing my jersey number?" He was a little haste but when they turned to him they eyed him funny. "This isn't yours. Coach gave it to me." With that they walked away and Scott suddenly got a sicking gut feeling. He pulled out his phone and began to text his pack frantically. Nobody answered. • Malia watched silently as the redhead did her banshee business, or as her and Kira began to refer to it as the Banshee Call. Not too long ago Lydia had texted her wanting her help and of course she came as quickly as superhumanly possible to do so. "So how and when did you get the premonition?" She asked. "Just earlier and through The song; Riders on a Storm. The riders are going around by storms taking people. They're taking souls." Lydia sighed. "Anyone who see them, they get snatched." She paused and pursed her lips. "And then they're gone forever." Malia nodded understanding. "If it's a myth, how are we so sure it didn't actually happen?" "We don't know. But it's happening now, we have to do something." A phone buzzed from besides them and Malia realising it was hers grabbed it and looked at the text alert. It was the group chat they had, someone was texted. Scott: guys something's happening. Where are you? Get the others and meet me by the front entrance! Malia frowned. "Hey, Lyds, did you add this person to our chat?" "What?" Lydia took the phone and looked at it. "Malia, it's Scott." "Yes I see that but who is Scott?" There was suddenly a dread of silence and Malia turned to examine Lydia's face which had turned pale white, her lips slightly parted. "What's wrong?" "Somethings happening. You don't remember Scott?" The redhead got off her chair when she received a negative response from Malia who jumped on her feet after her. "He must've seen them. The ghost riders. We have to go." Malia hurried after the banshee as they made their way out of school. From the heavily intoxicating scent of worry and panic that aroused Upon Lydia Malia knew it was a dead serious situation and that they needed to go to this Scott person. The heavy wind crashed on them as they run towards the front of the school. Lydia sighed in relief when they spotted a boy standing there looking almost lost and out of place. "Scott!" "Lydia, Malia. Thank god, where are the rest?" He asked frantically. "We didn't have time to get them. It's happening isn't it?" Lydia replied. Malia stood warily of the scene taking place in front of her. The boy just nodded and looked at her. "Why didn't you tell us you saw them?" "I didn't actually see them properly. I saw their shadow and that was it!" Scott exclaimed. "We have to get out of h—" he stopped instantly, his head turning to the direction of the parking lot. "They're here." "Who's here?" Malia asked now worried that the boy may be crazy. She looked around and found and heard nothing. Scott held out his arm stretched in front of them as his eyes glowed deep red, his fangs exposed. Malia instinctively followed him and shielded Lydia in protection. The Alpha roared and suddenly the girls were able to hear galloping and they knew, it was the wild hunt. "Scott where are they?" "Everywhere!" He moved back slightly backing them to the stairs of the school entrance. "Stay still. Trust me alright?" Lydia nodded but Malia was still in her own defence mode, ready for anything. "Listen, they're here because I saw them. They're going to take me, but I'll find a way out. I promise but you guys have to remember me okay? They'll make you forget. You need to remember." Malia growled lowly. "How?" "Find a way. But you have to stick together." He assured. "Now go before you see them too!" A sound whacked through the air and Scott staggered back, something grabbed him but he resisted, pulling at it frantically. Malia tried to help but it was no use, she couldn't see what had grabbed him. Suddenly he pushed her away and she fell back knocking Lydia with her. The girls watched with wide eyes as he gave them one last look before disappearing in green smoke. Lydia sat up when she felt his disappearance, a tight feeling bubbling inside her chest. She let out a fierce banshee screaming which Malia turned her head from, her ears ringing. Immediately the storm halted, the flying leaves falling into heaps around them. Malia grabbed Lydia's arm as she looked around in confusion, the dark night surrounding them shyly. They were alone. •••

“I know his family left town when he was like nine or ten. His older sister got into an accident when he was eight.” Stiles told Noah as we followed him into his office. We had stopped by before school to talk to him.
“Please go to school. You’re going to make Jamie late.” Noah begged Stiles.
“I’m with Stiles on this. Something doesn’t smell right.” I told Noah.
“Dad this kid is a werewolf.” Stiles tried to persuade him.
“Your best friends are werewolves. You’re dating a werecoyote. I still don’t know what Kira’s supposed to be. When the flying monkeys come soaring through the station you will have my undivided attention. Until then, just go to school.” Noah begged.
“What did you do?” Stiles asked.
“What? What do you mean what did I do?” Noah asked him.
“There’s something different about you.” Stiles said looking him over.
“What are you talking about?” Noah asked him in confusion but I heard a very subtle spike to his heart rate.
“What is it? What’s different?” Stiles asked stepping even closer to his father to examine him.
“For the love of god, just go to school.” Noah told him pushing him away.
“We’ll go if you promise to do a full background check on the Raeken’s.” Stiles bargained.
“No. You know what, just because I’m the only law enforcement officer who knows anything about this doesn’t make it my responsibility to do something every time you have a minor suspicion.” Noah told him.
“Except you’re not the only one.” I pointed out tugging Stiles sleeve to point out Jordan Parrish sitting in the bullpen. Noah called him in and had him run a background check for us. Nothing came up, so we went off to school.
-
“So you ran a background check and all that came up was a speeding ticket?” Malia asked after Stiles and I had finished filling her in about the events of our morning.
“A speeding ticket signed by Theo’s dad eight years ago.” Stiles told her.
“Which means what?” Malia asked.
“Nothing.” I told her.
“No, it means that he was trying to get away from something.” Stiles told her.
“Well how many tickets do you have?” Malia asked him.
“None.” Stiles told her. I laughed at him.
“How many would you have if your dad didn’t get you out of them?” Malia clarified.
“Eighteen.” I told her.
“No! It’s seventeen.” Stiles corrected me.
“I don’t know Stiles. I mean, I see why you’re worried. He’s really hot. He’s got like great hair perfect body. You should definitely feel threatened.” Malia told him. I chuckled.
“Thank you, because I do. Now more than ever.” Stiles told her.
“You want me to torture him?” Malia asked.
“No I don’t want you to torture him.” Stiles told her.
“I’m pretty sure I could take him.” Malia assured Stiles as I laughed at their exchange.
“I have a plan. There’s steps to doing this right.” Stiles told her.
“What steps?” Malia asked.
“We get the story. Verify the facts. We find the piece that doesn’t fit and we catch him in the act. That’s how we do it.” Stiles informed her. I bumped Stiles shoulder gaining his attention. I nodded to the street where Theo was getting dropped off for school. He turned around and spotted us. He smiled and sent us a wave.
“Why are you so suspicious of this guy?” Malia asked.
“Because Stiles is and I trust Stiles.” I told her.
“Stiles why are you suspicious?” Malia turned to him.
“Because I remember Theo from fourth grade. Okay, that’s not Theo.” Stiles told her.
-
Stiles and I spotted Scott sitting out in the quad during his free period. We ran over to enlist his help in our fight against Theo.
“You’re coming with us. Come on.” Stiles told him.
“I got a free period.” Scott told us.
“So do we, and so does Theo Raeken.” I told Scott.
“Let's go.” Stiles told him before running off, Scott and I close behind.
We tracked Theo to the locker rooms. He looked mildly surprised to see me walk in with the boys but when we asked to hear about how he was bitten he just jumped right into the story.
“I was skating in a neighbor's empty pool. Nobody was home. I’m not that good of a skateboarder but I guess I was feeling pretty determined because I completely lost track of time. I didn’t even realise it was night until the yard lights came on. My last try I went down and hit hard. Really hard. I was sitting there at the bottom of the pool and I realised I’d never heard the board come back down. There was a thing standing at the edge of the pool with glowing red eyes. It came at me fast. I barely had a chance to turn around before it bit me. Right here.” Theo said pointing to the same spot on his side that Scott had been bitten.
“Well it wasn’t an accident. He wanted to turn you.” Scott told him.
“Right so why weren’t you part of his pack then?” Stiles asked from where he and I were leaning against the lockers listening in.
“Yeah, why didn’t he come back for you?” I asked.
“Because by the time of my first full moon he was dead.” Theo told us. I snorted at the convenience.
“How do you know that?” Stiles asked.
“I met another one of his pack weeks later. He told me the alpha that bit me was killed by two of his own betas. They were twins.” Theo explained.
“Ethan and Aiden?” I asked Stiles quietly. He shrugged. I sounded like them but we had no way of knowing for sure.
“Scott, Jamie. Listen to my pulse. I’m telling you guys the truth.” Theo told us sensing we weren’t quite on board with his story.
“Right or you just know how to steady your heart rate while you’re lying your ass off.” Stiles pointed out.
“Why would I lie?” Theo asked in confusion.
“Because maybe you’re not who you say you are.” Stiles suggested.
“Or you’re not here for the reason you say you are.” I added another theory.
“Okay. In fourth grade you had an inhaler. I had one too. I remember this day where I ended up in the nurse's office with an asthma attack, a bad one. I was waiting to be taken to the ER, you were waiting for the principal. You told me what would happen when you go to the hospital for asthma. How they give you oxygen and an IV. You made it sound easy like everything would be okay.” Theo told Scott before turning to me.
“Remember in the fourth grade that month we spent together on the playground. You got into a fight with Stiles about something and he wouldn’t let you play with him.” Theo reminded me.
“We both wanted to be yoda for halloween. We didn’t speak to each other until thanksgiving.” I said remembering the time he was talking about.
“So we spent everyday together on the playground. Do you remember on the last day before Thanksgiving break when we were in the tube slide together?” Theo asked me. I nodded.
“You were my first kiss.” I told him thinking back on the memory.
“ANd you were mine.” He said with a smile. Stiles looked at me with disgust. I shrugged, it’s not like I could change the past.
“I’ve been on my own for a long time. Everybody knows that lone wolves, they don’t make it on there own. I swear I’m that same kid from fourth grade. I was hoping you are too.” Theo told Scott. Before Scott could say anything the bell rang. Theo sighed.
“I better not be late to class. You aren’t the only ones I need to make a good impression on.” Theo told us before heading out.
“Don’t give me that look.” Stiles told Scott and he looked between us triumphantly.
“We have to give people the benefit of the doubt sometimes.” Scott told him.
“Not this time! Alright, I’m right. There’s something off about him. I can feel it.” Stiles insisted.
“Lydia’s the psychic.” Scott told him.
“Lydia’s not a psychic, she’s a banshee. There’s a difference.” Stiles told Scott as he walked away from us to get to class. I looked up at Stiles.
“What do you believe this guy too now? Mr. First kiss.” Stiles asked me.
“Nope, I was actually going to suggest we skip english and head down to the records office to see what we can find in there.” I told him. He smiled at me and motioned for me to lead the way.
-
We met up with the pack after school in the library. We had dug up some stuff in the records room. Stiles put the old parking ticket and Theo’s transfer papers down side by side in front of the pack.
“So you guys found something?” Scott asked looking at the papers.
“ANother signature.” Stiles said with glee.
“This is Theo’s dads signature from his speeding ticket eight years ago.” I said pointing to the print out we got from the station this morning.
“This is Theo’s dads signature from a transfer form from just a few days ago.” Stiles said pointing to the other paper.
“How did you get his transfer form?” Kira asked.
“Did you two break into the administration office?” Scott asked us.
“No, we did not break into the administration office.” Stiles told him.
“Okay we might have broken into the administration office.” I confessed.
“Can we just focus on the signatures please. They’re different.” Stiles pointed out to them.
“They’re sort of different.” Malia told us.
“They’re totally different.” I corrected.
“Focus on the change relations of the sinuous stroke totally off and look at this. Perfect example of the criminal tremor.” Stiles pointed out.
“So now Theo’s Theo, but his parents aren’t his parents?” Kira asked in confusion.
“Someone’s not someone.” I told her.
“Yeah, and when we figure out who that someone really is, someone’s in big trouble.” Stiles said confusing even me.
“But no one’s done anything wrong.” Scott pointed out.
“Yet. If Theo’s parents are psychotic murderers then obviously we shouldn’t trust him right?” Stiles asked.
“My parents are Peter and the desert wolf.” Malia pointed out.
“Okay, it’s fine you know what? I don’t need you or you or you.” Stiles pointed to Scott, Kira and Malia before turning away.
“I don’t need anybody.” He announced.
“Dude.” I called his attention back to me.
“Except for you, come on.” He said putting his arm around my shoulders and leading me out of the library.
“We should bring some back up.” I told Stiles.
“You’re right we don’t know what this guys capable of.” Stiles agreed.
-
“What’s a criminal tremor?” Liam asked as we all piled into the jeep. Stiles snatched the papers out of his hands before driving off.
We followed Theo all day. Eventually he parked at the edge of the preserve and we followed him in.
“I told you Theo was up to something.” Stiles told Liam who had started whining a couple hours ago.
“We just spent three hours watching this dude play video games in his bedroom. He better be out here covering up a mass murder.” Liam told us.
“Let's find out.” Stiles said picking up the pace to figure out where Theo was going.
“You guys still have his scent?” Stiles asked as we tracked Theo through the woods.
“We don’t need it.” I told him pointing out the footprints Theo had left behind in the soft earth. Liam suddenly stopped in his tracks.
“What is it?” i asked him.
“What;s wrong?” Stiles echoed my concern.
“I forgot I was supposed to meet Mason at the school gym.” Liam said.
“Okay why don’t you just tell him?” Stiles asked.
“I can’t just tell him.” Liam complained.
“Why not?” I asked him.
“Because I haven’t told him everything.” Liam confessed.
“You should.” I told him.
“Scott said it was okay.” Stiles reminded him.
“Yeah, but it’s not that easy. It’s a lot to accept.” Liam told us.
“He watched my dad blow up a berserker with a land mine. I think the groundwork has been pretty thoroughly laid for acceptance.” Stiles told him.
“We’ve all been through this. More than once. It’s always better when they know.” I told him before Stiles and I turned to continue tracking Theo.
“What if he freaks out? What if he doesn’t want to talk to me? What if he tried to stab me with something silver? Or what if…” Liam was suddenly cut off as I heard the sound of earth moving behind me. Stiles and I turned around to find Liam had fallen in a hole.
“The hell are you doing? I swear. Oh there he is.” Stiles said getting distracted by Theo.
“Hurry up. Stop screwing around.” Stiles told Liam before going to spy on Theo. I helped Liam out of the hole and then we both joined Stiles to watch Theo.
“Alright Liam, this is what we’ve been practicing. Now try and get his scent.” I told him.
“Get anything?” Stiles asked.
“Soap. It’s nice it smells clean.” Liam reported. I chuckled.
“Not his soap. His emotional state.” Stile scolded.
“Chemosignals, remember?” I reminded him.
“Oh, yeah okay.” Liam said turning his attention back to Theo.
“He’s sad.” Liam reported.
“Sad?” Stiles asked.
“Not just sad. It’s more like grief.” i told Stiles.
“Grief?” Stiles asked confused.
“Oh my god.” Stiles said turning us away from Theo and leading us away.
“What’s up?” I asked confused as to why he was abandoning our surveillance mission.
“Go just go.” I told us pushing us further away.
“That’s the bridge where they found his sister.” Stiles said after he deemed we were far enough away.
“Oh my god.” I said.
“What sister?” Liam asked.
“The one who got lost in the woods and died from exposure. He’s leaving a flower for her.” Stiles explained.
“Well that doesn’t sound evil.” Liam pointed out.
“I know.” Stiles told him. I pulled Liam and Stiles to a stop nodding up in a tree where Theo was standing on a thick branch. He jumped down in front of us and greeted us with a smile.
“What are you guys doing?” Theo asked. Liam growled as Theo approached me. Liam stepped between the two of us defensively.
“Whoa.” I told him wrapping my hand around his arm to keep him off Theo.
“Why do I get the feeling this kids tougher than he looks?” Theo asked hands raised.
“Only when we let him off his leash.” Stiles told Theo.
“Stiles we were in little league together. Why are you so suspicious of me?” Theo asked.
“Because of these.” Stiles said handing over the papers.
“Ones a signature on a speeding ticket from eight years ago the others a form from Beacon high. They’re different.” Stiles told him.
“They do look a little different.” Theo agreed.
“No they’re totally different! Signed by two different people.” Stiles told him. I wrapped my hand around his arm too trying to keep both boys from getting to aggressive with Theo.
“So my dad’s not my dad? Like he’s an imposter?” Theo asked.
“Something like that.” Stiles said.
“Who do you think I am?” Theo asked Stiles.
“We don’t know yet.” Stiles told him.
“Want me to give you a DNA sample?” Theo asked.
“No I don’t have anything from the fourth grade to match it too.” Stiles told him.
“You know Stiles I came back here for Scott, but I also came back for you. Someone like you. Someone who's willing to walk into the woods in the middle of the night to protect his friends. I don’t have anyone like that. Well I did in the fourth grade for a month.” Theo said looking to me. I ducked my head remembering how I had ditched Theo after Thanksgiving break when Stiles and Scott started talking to me again.
“Scott does. You all do. I know I’m in the right place. I’m meant to be here. I’m meant to be a part of this pack.” Theo assured us.
Stiles, Liam and I made it back to the car. Scott was there waiting leaning against his bike.
“Find anything?” He asked us.
“Nope.” Stiles said getting into the jeep.
“I fell in a hole.” Liam announced.
“It was the bridge where his sister died wasn’t it?” Scott asked as Stiles sat angrily in his jeep.
“Yes it was. Very embarrassing so we’re going to leave now.” Stiles tried to start the jeep but it wouldn’t turn over.
“I think I’m going to stay out a while. I haven't gone for a good run in ages. I’ll see you at home.” I told Stiles before stripping out of my clothes and throwing them into the jeep. I transformed into a wolf and headed off into the woods.
-
I was running for over an hour when I spotted it. All black. It almost looked like me when I transformed but I had some grey in my fur. It spotted me at the same time I spotted it. It came foreward. I stayed where I was until it’s nose bumped mine. There was something almost familiar in its eyes. I transformed back into a girl. The wolf in front of me did the same. I stared wide eyed a Theo as he stood naked before me.
“That’s a neat trick.” I told him.
“Yeah, I learned to do it a couple months after I turned. I was in a car wreck and I was tossed through the windshield. When I woke up I was a wolf. It took me nearly two days to change back. Scared my parents half to death.” Theo told me walking closer.
“Cool story.” I told him not quite sure I believed what he was saying.
“I know why Stiles doesn’t believe me, but what about you?” Theo asked.
“Stiles is my best friend and I trust him. If he says that you’re not the same Theo from the fourth grade then I’m on his side.” I told Theo.
“I wish there was some way to prove it to you.” Theo told me.
“Well I don’t really have a lot of memories over all from the fourth grade.” I told him.
“You remembered the kiss.” He pointed out.
“It was my first.” I told him as he walked closer.
“That’s all you remember about me?” Theo asked coming even closer. I didn’t back away.
“It’s one of my few memories of grade school entirely.” I told him.
“Then maybe that’s how I prove it.” He said smiling down at me now that we were less than a foot away from each other. I studied his face not sure how to reply. He brought his hand to my cheek cupping it gently. He looked into my eyes to make sure what he was doing was okay. I didn’t pull away. He brought his lips down slowly onto mine. It was soft and gentle and so very, very good. I couldn’t help myself I brought my hands up threading my fingers through his hair and bringing the kiss deeper. Theo groaned against me wrapping his free arm around my waist and pulling me flush against his bare chest.
Eventually I needed to breath so I broke away. I rested my forehead against his trying to catch my breath. I studied his face as he studied mine. I pulled back completely backing away from him with a smile.
“Well?” He asked.
“I’m still not sure if I trust you. I think you might have to jog my memory some more.” I told him with a wink. He chuckled at me.
“No better time than right here right now.” He told me.
“I need to get home, but I’ll definitely be seeing you around.” I told him before I turned back into a wolf and heading for home.
