My little headcanons about Delilah O'Feefe and Marla Biggs (because I love them dearly)

- They met at the university art fair, where Delilah had her own booth. Marla said she really liked the colors, and in response, Delilah talked about art for 2 hours. To her surprise, Marla wasn't annoyed and even asked if she could have Delilah's email. Then they talked and talked about their favorite shows, school, and where they would like to travel when they're out of the university.

- Marla is majoring in biology and wants to study the impacts of UFO crashes on biodiversity. Delilah studies art and is big on 70s pop culture and psychedelic art. She hopes to make money by selling her art to rich people who miss hippie aesthetics and to buy a house in Mesa Flats. She really likes the desert landscapes, the culture and colorful houses of the hood.

- They're both autistic. Delilah was diagnosed as a child, and Marla didn't realize she was autistic until a year ago. Delilah suited the stereotype of an autistic child better because of her sensory sensitivities, intense interest in art and yellow color (and her bio literally says that she prefers paintings to people). Marla was just thought to be an extremely shy dreamer girl, was bullied relentlessly and learned to mask really well.

- Delilah is a demiromantic/demisexual lesbian and Marla is an allo bisexual. At first Marla was confused about Delilah's relationship with Edwin Sharpe, because it was obvious (to everyone around, not to Delilah) he was in love with her. Delilah probably had like one and a half crushes in her life and it usually took her years to develop some romantic feelings. She and Marla started to date about a year after they became friends and it's the first serious relationship for both of them (although Marla had an online boyfriend on the Jimmy Sprocket roleplay forum when she was 13).
