Would Pippa or James’s times at Marlborough not overlapped with Eugenies

I can't find dates confirming this, but I think:

Pippa would've been at Marlborough 1996 - 2001. (She's one year younger than Kate.)

James would've been at Marlborough 2000 - 2005. Wikipedia says he began attending University of Edinburgh in 2006 so it aligns. (He's four years younger than Pippa and dropped out of uni after one year.)

Eugenie was at Marlborough 2003 - 2008.

So James and Eugenie would have overlapped at Marlborough for two years. I can't see them running in the same circles though. I'm sure James was aware of who Eugenie was in a "everyone knows Princess Eugenie, she's Princess Eugenie" way. I'm not sure that Eugenie knew who James was.

Something to remember is that we don't know when Kate began meeting William's extended family, specifically the Yorkies, and that also impacts whether Eugenie knew James, or at least knew of him. If Kate's first time meeting the Yorkies happened while James was still at Marlborough, then sure, it's plausible Eugenie knew of him, but if her first time meeting the Yorkies was after James had already left, it seems a bit farfetched.

(We only know that Kate met The Queen in 2008, at Peter's wedding. We know that she's met Harry, Charles, and probably Camilla and Camilla's children before 2006 as she was invited to Laura PB's wedding. It's probably a safe assumption that Kate met Anne's branch of the BRF before 2008 if they were OK letting William have her as his official representative to Peter's wedding. I feel like Kate would have met Anne's side before 2007 because she would've been the one to "vet" Kate for Philip and we know Philip inadvertently played a role in the breakup after counselling William that it wasn't fair to keep Kate on if he didn't see a future with her. IMO, there's no way Philip would be so supportive of Kate if she didn't have Anne's support.)

(Maybe it's just me but if I'd been in high school, I wouldn't have known or cared that this guy two years ahead of me is my cousin's girlfriend's little brother, but that's just me. Maybe it's different in the UK.)

Arnoud Joost van Keppel, Earl of Albemarle • Friend and Favourite of William III

Keppel is generally known as being a close friend of William III while he was King of England until his death. Keppel began as a page boy in the Orange household, following his master to England in 1688.

The common legend of when the favouritism began is in the early 1690s, when Keppel fell off his horse and broke his leg during a hunting party, showing stoicism the whole time in front of the equally stoic King. Unquestionably, by 1694 Keppel was a close friend, and at the Queen’s death became closer by helping the bereaved William with his grief.

Keppel was a firm favourite until William’s death, but unfortunately his story is always made to end at his master’s death, as though he somehow died along with him. True, he grieved for several weeks, but he then fell in great friendship with the Duke of Marlborough.

Keppel went on to have a successful military career, proving his skill and steadfastness. He left England shortly after William’s death, returning home to the Netherlands, where he advanced through the ranks. He even became CIC of the Dutch Forces under Marlborough in the War of Spanish Succession. Much of Marlborough’s correspondence concerning him during the time period survives in Fifty Years of My Life by George Thomas Keppel.

Generally, when Keppel is remembered, it is in biographies of William as a playboy favourite, seen as more liberal than the other favourite the Earl of Portland. His career after William is never discussed, and he is thus written off.

It has been a year since 7 people died in a car crash out at Picton. Nelson should lower its flags 🇳🇿 to half mast as a mark of respect, so the Top of the South regions of Nelson, Marlborough, Tasman and the West Coast can reflect on that day of the accident that had a sufficient impact on us all.
