Okay but what was wrong with Riverworld, what did it do
(context in case this gets backed up for a month+ like you've alluded some asks do)
The script I wrote was chopped to shreds for budget (by another writer) and then the director had the actors improvise all their dialogue so it made no damn sense. They cast a lovely actress to play Tomoe Gozen, but she’s only like 1/4 Japanese, which is embarrassing. Mark Deklin and Peter Shinkoda did their best though, so bless them.

Mark’s File Of Choice
Mark Deklin the asshole pretty boi sits In his swivel chair behind his desk in his massive penthouse office.
He spins a bit then stops facing the laptop screen he presses a button on the keyboard instantly.
The screen suddenly opens up spiraling out of the control it catches his eyes drawing him even closer.
He can’t look away lost in awe of it all with the multicolored rays of light mix together yanking him forward.
A strange young man appears behind him as he emerges from behind the door as the walls spins.
His hands grab on to his shoulders rubbing him very carefully he bends over to whisper in his ears.
The man kisses his checks slowly he drops down his neck and the man can’t ever help himself.
The man’s mouth pops open as he falls in to heat, the young man smirks seeing his cute reflection on the screen.
The man laughs a bit kissing to back of his neck my hands are outstretched to his shirt collar.
The man smacks him hard unbuttoning the top button under the collar as it pops open at my touch.
I can see an expression of desperation cover his face a small smirk over takes his face in a stunt.”
One button as I slide down I can see him get harder with his cock spring forward it is a wonder.
My hands spread on to his chest rubbing up his body playing with his nipples it is true pleasure.

Jennifer (Kimberly Williams-Paisley) and Meg Swift (Ashley Williams) are sisters who couldn’t be closer despite living in different cities. I think now my reflex would be to smile whenever Mandy is on screen. I know! It's odd given that I've seen every episode of 'Homeland'...which barely has comedy.
I'm so glad that The Kings are letting Mandy run wild with his (innate?) cheekiness. I wonder if Claire is now watching (or has watched?) the show because Hugh was there last season...and Mandy is now here during this season.
(Would Mandy win Guest star Emmy!?)
I like the added benefit of being in Judge Wackner (I somehow have it in my mind as Wackerman) courtroom: nothing is secret! Even whispers!
(I wonder if the only way to pass messages is to sent SMS to each other? Or write on pads?)
PS: “Humour for Drama Fans” is how I'd pitch this season (or maybe the whole show ---- has there been really intense shouting and arguing? I mean...yes...but it was all rooted in humour....or satire...well....I know it's an overlap...but sometimes there are satiric beats that don't appeal to my funny bone.

TONI and MARISSA walk in. Jaw dropped at what is in front of them: a makeshift court in a storage area. Reams of paper are stacked up on both sides. A mixture of packing material litter the walls and shelves. Onlookers (as well as those waiting for their time) fill the seats.

How do we break a tie? Come on.
Two lawyers face off.
MALCOLM AND TEDDY
One, two, three.
TONI and MARISSA walk forward hesitantly.
MALCOLM draws scissors while TEDDY draws rock.
HAL
Good, rock over scissors. Closing arguments are done. Give me about 10 minutes. I'll have a decision. Take a break.
They walk away. HAL looks over to the two women.
HAL
Are you my 11:00?
MARISSA
Uh, I don't know. We have a summons.
She opens her organiser.
HAL
Come on in. You're late.
They step forward.
MARISSA

HAL

SCHULTZ

MARISSA
Um, Your Honour, defence counsel asks that...
She takes a spot behind the defence desk. Throwing a quick glance at SCHULTZ
MARISSA
...the court grant a continuance until such time as we've been able to...
HAL
You're---you're defence counsel? Why do you refer to yourself in the third person?
MARISSA smiles and laughs uncomfortably. Suddenly shy.
MARISSA
I'm not actually licensed to practice law---

I'm not actually licensed to be a judge, so we're in the same boat.
MARISSA is stumped. She throws a nervous glance at TONI.
HAL
Mr. Schultz, please call your first witness.
MARISSA can't believe this is happening. Another jaw drop.
SCHULTZ stands.

Ready, Your Honour.
MARISSA
Uh, wait. Can I object?
HAL
You can. Overrulled. Mr. Schults, call your witness.
MARISSA
Your Honour, let me call the real lawyer. I'm not a real lawyer.
A beat.
HAL

MARISSA

HAL
Marissa...Do you understand the issues in this case?
MARISSA
Uh-huh.
HAL

She turns to TONI.
MARISSA
Yeah.
HAL

MARISSA

She moves to take it out.

Well, look, that's one of the parents suing me. If we walk out, we lose.
MARISSA closes her eyes and shakes her head. This can't be happening.

My verdict of the episode: 9/10 – I'm smiling! This one just epitomises what the show is...and what it has become as the three creators work on fine tuning the tone each season.

Meet Me at Christmas
Each movie will be given a rating between 1 to 5 after initial viewing. 1 being a movie I will probably not watch past the first time. 5 being a new holiday favorite that I will be watching multiple times through out the season.
Here we go! Starting with the plot. I enjoyed it. I really loved the idea of Christmas Eve wedding. Which I have to say the wedding scene between Liam and Katie was stunning. Like the atmosphere looked amazing. Talks about a true winter wonderland. But anyway, Liam and Katie were pretty cute. Now while it was clear from very early on in the movie, I liked the flashbacks for the short time that Joan and Beau had together when they were younger. This film had a bit more angst moments which was a nice little change. Between Joan being closed off a bit to Beau at times, wanting to keep their ‘day’ secret from Liam and Katie, to the bit of Liam finding out about the two in terms of the photo and his father. Honestly I could of done with the conflict of typical misleading information of one leaving. I think they personally could of made the film work just as fine without that bit. Next up are the actors. So I’m going to admit that I’m not a big Catherine Bell fan. I don’t know what it is about her. While I don’t dislike her or anything, she’s just not a Hallmark female lead that I gravitate towards so I don’t really watch much of her on the network. However, I actually did not mind her in this movie. Starting the film, I wasn’t really super excited it partly due to her and plus the promo did not really interest me. But I ended up invested and enjoyed the movie. I liked Mark Deklin in Switched for Christmas and has seen bits of pieces of him in the Evergreen film but I enjoyed him in his movie. In terms of the pairing, they have good chemistry and I actually liked them together. While I didn’t really care for the kiss, I wouldn’t mind seeming them together in another film in the future. Like always the supporting cast was great but then again I never really have any issues with them. Overall I liked it.
Rating: 4/5 - While I appreciated the extra bit of angst they gave us throughout the film as it helped me stay more invested, it wasn’t my favorite movie that has premiered on the channel. However it was one that I look forward to watching more over the holiday.
