Starting Fresh
Hello hello! I'm returning to the Hallmark world, just in time for Fall in Love movies, with 2 new blogs.
I'm starting fresh with this blog. My new page is Hallmark Lover (tumblr.com). I hope to see you there for all your Hallmark movie review needs. This blog will remain up for now.
My main, non-tumblr blog (The Hallmark Fanatic) is something I just started as well. Basically, this is where most of my content will be such as themed days, movie reviews, etc.
With that said, I'm ready to dive back into all things Hallmark! <3

The Wedding Veil Expectations
I swear Jan, never fails to feel like such a blah month for me. But I am back and catching up on this series.
Sometimes a second movie for Hallmark doesn’t always mean better. But that’s not the case with this one. I actually enjoyed this one over the first one. But let’s be real, I love seeing the continuation past the final end kiss and/or wedding since we never see it. So I was so happy to return to this story and see Avery and Peter in married life and even a bit of parenthood, even if it wasn’t as much as I liked. But I thought the story of fixing their place plus Avery trying to tell Peter about the baby, it was all so refreshing to see. Plus it was great seeing more friendship moments between the girls as I felt like they were in this one more. Now I was curious to see how the veil would continue it’s story but I loved seeing Peter’s mom have a chance for romance again and experiencing the magic of veil. So I was happy to see Hallmark shining the light of older people falling in love again as again it’s something we don’t see often. Obviously seeing the cast come back was great. Lacey and Kevin are still a wonderful duo. Overall, this was a really nice addition to the series.
Rating: 3 - I would probably watch this one more than I would their first movie honestly.
But what did you think about this one? What did you like/dislike about it? Feel free to let me know!

A Dog Lover’s Guide to Dating
We are here! The first movie of 2023! Let’s get right into it!
Sometimes I know before going into some of these movies that I’m just going going to care much for them and this one was just that. So I’m not big into the animal themed movies. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge animal lover, but there’s not much to do plot wise. I paused the movie a few times to do other things and that alone isn’t a great sign. Of course the dogs were adorable and I appreciated Alex’s issue with love due to her father, but I want more of it or at least a more meaningful resolution to it. The ending was probably where I got the most excited because the setting was nice and the dialogue was sweet. The actors and the adorable dogs were really my enjoyment for this movie. I was happy to see the first movie of the new year with a new face. I thought Rebecca was lovely leading lady. I adore Corey so I was excited to see him yet again. While I didn’t care the story, I thought they were a sweet duo.
Rating: 1 - Sadly, I don’t really see myself rewatching this one again. If I do, it will be a purely a background movie for me.
But what did you think about this one? What did you like/dislike about it? Feel free to let me know!

Happy 2023!
I can’t believe it’s already the new year! I hope the first few days have been a great start for everyone! I’m excited to see what Hallmark has in store for us this year!
I wanted to make a quick post and say that the past few months I’ve been thinking about expanding my writing/hallmark world. So I decided to create some social media accounts and a wordpress blog.
I created a Twitter and Instagram account. So any tweeters out there can follow my page (@hallmarkfanatic) and for any Insta lovers, you can follow me at @thehallmarkfanatic over there. My goal for these platforms is just spread more Hallmark love.
My wordpress is also brand new. This is where I intend to expand my writing and maybe add a bit more of flare to my reviews and themed days.
Now currently everything is acting as a trial run for me. I could end up loving my twitter account but not my instagram or vise versa. There’s also the possibility that I end up not keeping up with my wordpress blog like I hoped. So any 3 of those things can end up being gone at anytime through out the year.
Lastly, I do still plan on having this blog. It’s just going to stick to the more simple style of things. So reviews will still happen and showing love to content creators with reblogs and such will continue as well.
So here’s to a new year and brand new premieres!
