What the fuck is up with the new trend of doctors/nurses on tiktok mocking and making fun of patients? These people are supposed to be professionals, they’re supposed to be making patients feel comfortable and safe, but instead they’re publicly shaming and even telling people that ‘we know when u lying’ crap? What upsets me the most is that most of these creators are white women, and their videos are mostly directed at female patients, which drives me mad. Female patients are already not taken seriously, and when female doctors make videos mocking their fears, their insecurities, their health - it’s sickening. Yall are supposed to be the ones making space for other women and making their concerns about their bodies feel valid. But, instead yall are going on tiktok and doing everything but taking female patients seriously. Not only is it fucked up, but its also super unprofessional.
