Relationship status: Single. I have never dated anyone, partially because of my mental problems but also partially because I'm an annoying ugmo whose companionship I wouldn't wish on my worst enemies let alone people I care about.

Favorite color: Teal. Blue and orange are also top tier and I love how combining pretty much any color with black and/or white looks really nice!

Three favorite foods: Bread, sushi and uhhh pizza I guess. I hate how my body seems to only love unhealthy food...

Song stuck in my head: I have honestly no idea what it is or who's the singer or where I've heard it. Maybe it's something from a tv ad or radio, I dunno? Yesterday however I was stuck with songs from the Disney's Hercules movie!

Last thing I googled: According to my browser history "African Tähti Deluxe". Afrikan tähti (=Africa's star) is a classic Finnish board game that has been in the center of some drama lately, as the theme of searching a diamond from Africa is pretty colonialist and the imagery of the game board isn't the most culturally sensitive. That's why the game has suffered a bit from the "toilet paper effect" where now everyone has been buying it in the fear of it being banned. I googled the Deluxe version of the game because I have in fact been searching it for years now, so I wanted to see if any copies would have been put for sale due to the media attention. (Disclaimer: I am not against modernifying the game by any means. But it's also a classic game for a reason - the gameplay is really fun in its simplicity.)

Dream trip: I'd want to travel to a thousand places, but if I have to choose one I would say going to Japan. Like in all the other places I'd want to see, it has such amazing nature and culture... But what wins the round for Japan is how much I would also want to just shop there. ='D Think of all the merch I could get! I would drown in Pokémon stuff and be happy about it!

Anything I want: The most simple and the most difficult thing: to be happy.

🎼 Your favorite music to draw to right now?

I haven’t really listened a lot of music while drawing lately; the thing I enjoy the most right now is to listen a recorded stream of some fun group playing Among Us. =D That game just never stops to amuse me and I wish so much I had a zillion friends to play it with, because it’s just one of those games that lose a lot of its charm when you don’t know the other players at all. Which is why I live my murder party fantasies through Youtubers and Twitch streamers.

🦋 Do your drawings resemble you?

I... Think so? It’s really hard for me to say it for sure, I think it’s one of those things that is easier to see in other peole and their art than in yourself. But I feel like people wouldn’t be in for a huge surprise if they saw what I looked like irl. My art is after all pretty soft and round and simple with an ever-growing dash of “how can I do this with as little effort as possible because I AM TIRED”, ahhahah.

🌗 Is night or day better for drawing?

Night, 100 %! Now that I’m not in school or work-life there’s barely ever a reason why I would draw during the day. For me days are for chores like cleaning, buying groceries, meeting people and doing sports. Then I take a nap, and after that I draw, play video games, read and poke my hamster during the evening and night.

Just a random idea came to my mind and I LOVED doing this! I CHALLENGE EVERYBODY EVERYWHERE to do the same thing to their characters! This is actually an efficient way to get to know your characters and maybe give others some idea of them as well? Idk but I’m doing another character batch someday, this was fun

🙃 Which is easier: faces facing left, right, or front view? 

Facing left, absolutely! =D Though I think nowadays I’ve done pretty decent job at not making literally everything I draw face left, but it still requires conscious effort to keep the direction varied.

📚 How many layers do you typically use? 

This varies really wildly. The minimum is usually 4: line art, shading, colors and background, but from there it can go up to pretty ridiculous amounts. For example this piece ended up having I think over 20 layers, as many of the background objects were on their own layers (the cave and the snow on top of it are for example separate) and it has a lot of different light effects and what even.

✨ How often do you draw? 

This can also vary quite a lot depending on my inspiration. I guess saying I draw weekly would be a good compromise: sometimes much more often, but then there are also months when I manage to complete only one or two pieces.

📐 Whats your favorite kinds of lines to draw? 

As thick and bold as possible! =‘‘‘D Sadly I do often end up drawing much more simple line art as many pieces can definitely work like that, too, but if I had infinite time and energy I would draw stuff like this all the time.
