a pause, another sip. his eyes take a slow path around that face. whether to further distress him, or something else altogether, Hidan doesn’t bother to make explicit.

𝚒’𝚍 𝚔𝚎𝚎𝚙 𝚊𝚗 𝚎𝚢𝚎 𝚘𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚖 ; that there is APRIL RIGGS , notorious for being ( deceitful ) and ( superficial ) , but there are times when she can be ( charismatic ) and ( strategic ) . i've heard that she could pass as a MEGAN FOX doppelganger , but i don't see it . the ( thirty-five ) year - old cis woman has been in town for ( two weeks / majority of her life ) and they are a ( socialite ) by day and murder suspect by night . they tend to spark images of swarovski crystal champagne flutes raised in the air , a 14 carat diamond ring left on the bedside table , a singed undergrad diploma , a stranger in the mirror , a stadium full of empty applause , the lethal combination of a stepford wife and stifler’s mom . you’ll know when they walk by because they always seem to be blasting feeling good by NINA SIMONE . it truly explains why they're known as THE TROPHY .

i got very ‘poetic’ in the ‘a little further’ portion of the app and described her as a trophy in my first bullet point… so there you have it! you see, no matter what she did, she was always only praised for her appearance. just a trophy!!

she was born (in taunwick) to a very successful politician and her trophy husband. therefore, she spent much of her time alone as her mother was busy campaigning or throwing galas while her father, her mother’s trophy husband, went along for the ride.

there were very few times they spent any ‘quality time’ together – picture what i think was the first scene (one of!) in mommie dearest where joan crawford is turning her daughter’s birthday into a photo op. that was pretty much their definition of quality family time. it could be successfully argued that april’s mother figures all came in the form of nannies.

it could also be successfully argued that, unlike lionel, april is part of the daddy issues™ club. as will be very evident afhdliuwdsjn

what should be taken away rn is that she was literally raised to be shallow fhlakjds

she began an entitlement act rather young - there were only two people who saw through it, one of which will be sent in as a wc and the other… being harley!! bc gotta get april connected to the murders somehow!! gotta give her a reason to stay in taunwick too but!! that’s a problem for a future bullet.

there are those annoying kids who refuse to share their toys and all. and they usually grow out of it. but april… did not. elementary? demon child. junior high? demon preteen. high-school? demon teenager.

now!! on the topic of high-school!! if her age is any indication, she is not part of the class of 2000 - if i have my math right (possibly don’t, i once legit studied for a math exam and wound up still only getting a 34), she was part of the class of 2003. that being said, one year of hers did overlap with everyone else’s - she knew chastity as an acquaintance at best, although she still recognized harley as a friend!! good for her!!

that being said, chastity’s murder….. didn’t have much of an effect on her…. ya it’s v tragic….. but it’s been a week guys :\

her alibi: she was in the woods with someone…….. when pressured to say with who bc animals and trees can’t confirm that…… she was ashamed to say it was someone on the lacrosse team. she usually aimed higher :\

anyway, they all graduated and it was HER TIME TO SHINE!! it was HER TIME to USURP THE THRONE and become THAT BITCH of the school!! probably had .3 real friends, what with the exception of the one wc i plan to send in!! that... was inspired by “jenny” by studio killers… we can’t wait to send it.

did everything she perceived as the it girl stuff, what from joining those cool teams to being crowned her own prom queen to……………. sleeping with teachers. 1) alexa play “daddy issues” by the neighbourhood, 2) fire them.

fun fact tho!! she got into a hella good school. as in the ivy that is columbia. by what was….. partially her own merit…… partially her mother giving a very generous donation. have to make the family look PERFECT!!

she received an art history degree on what was….. partially her own merit…… partially sleeping with professors (see two bullets above.)but... graduation came… and what do you do with an art history degree from an ivy…

in the perfect parallel that she did not even recognize as a parallel because she’s big dumb, she found a marginally older politician (....it’s gonna be a wc so it’s gonna depend on the player but it’s gonna be 50+ hfdlsjak wld make it older but there j aren’t enough resources!!) and was like *martha (...virginia woolf?) vc* “yes, yes. [he] will do.” *end vc*

in spite of having become marginally more introspective than she was in high-school… she still doesn’t recognize her daddy issues :\

they got married. in spite of it being beautiful and expensive and gaudy, she really didn’t feel anything?? was lowkey GLAD her parents weren’t there (and not in the angsty ‘they never show up to anything anyway :\’ way, in the ‘this is literally wasting everyone’s time’ way). their marriage started and continued as a very unfulfilling one. he, in perfect politician style, began having affairs exactly as she, in perfect april style, began having affairs. while they never directly spoke of them, they knew the other was involved with other people.

why april didn’t divorce him is an excellent question. is it out of a certain selflessness, not wanting to do any damage to his career?? is it out of selfishness, not wanting to lose that sugar daddy?? a little bit of both. probably more the latter tho!!

anyway!! her father finally divorced her mother and she was like “i’m…. gonna say i’m gonna go be a good daughter…. go comfort my mother in this trying time….. but jk i j wanna get away from my husband lmao”

again, barely knows her mother. learned various different languages so she could have fair conversations with the foreign nannies.

but….. he has a reputation to keep up!! and his wife straight-up disappearing and leaving him would be 100x worse than a divorce…. so here he comes!! to save the day!! and his reputation!!

as you can imagine, between her husband figuring out her real motive + her…. barely liking her mother, she would be inclined to return to nyc… but that’s where harley’s murder will come in!! the perfect crime!! literally!!

Everyone is school knew that Roman was a huge flirt, if it was human, he will flirt, it’s in his nature, sometimes he want to say something seriously, but instead it comes out as a flirty comment, that’s what gets him in trouble..

“Hey Lo, cute tie” Roman never intended to wink at him, his eyes just randomly closed at that moment, he knew it sounded flirty because of two things:

One-Logan blushed

Two-Virgil glared at him and got closer to Logan

It was never his intention; Verge has to know this, HE HAS A MASSIVE CRUSH ON PATTON FOR THE LORDS SAKE!!!!!

Talking about Patton, he approached them “Hey guys, what you up to?” Verge grinned because Karma is a b***h, and he was glad this happened, because every time Patton got close to him, Roman turns into a blabbering mess , Verge saw that he was starting to sweat like crazy, Logan decided to interfere “Hello Patton, we are about to walk to our individual classes” Patton Looked at him and said “Perfect.... Don’t know what you said, but ok” Logan rolled his eyes and said “We just chillin here bro, we are going to class” Patton finally got it and said “OH!!!! Now I get you, your vocab is Infinitesimal” he grinned towards the boys, while Verge and Logan looked at each other “ok, let’s go” Logan accidentally hit Virgil on his left arm, causing the boy to flinch in pain “Oh lord, please forgive me Virgil, please understand that it was never my intention to inflict physical pain on you” Verge laughed at the way he apologizes, but it wasn’t the small hit Logan gave him, to be honest, he is a street fighter, he gets his money by fighting with random people who challenge him, to his luck, he has never lost a fight “Don’t worry Lo, I’m just sore, you know, the gym and all” LO physically relaxed, he though he hurt Verge by the way he flinched, and talking about flinching “ Verge, oh m g, I need your help, please come” Verge couldn’t even answer when he was being pulled by Farrah, Patton got closer to Lo and said “Someone has a crush on Virgil” Logan’s eyes became as huge as a pan, he turned to the bubbly guy and said “I can assure you Patton, I do not have feelings towards Virgil, we are mere friends” Logan decided to hide the fact that he does in fact have feelings for Verge, I mean, who in the entire school doesn’t have feeling for him, with his cold eyes, his fair skin, his purple hair and his bad boy aesthetic, he was dreamy, but Logan can’t get his hopes up, Virgil is just being nice to him and protecting him from Chris and his gang, plus, the ‘chemistry’ he has with Farrah was undeniably strong, Farrah likes Verge, and who wouldn’t like Farrah, she is beautiful.

Once Lo and the other guys turned the corner, their jaws opened and dropped to the floor, Farrah had Virgil pinned to the wall, almost eating him alive, Roman felt like slapping the light out of Virgil, Patton felt sad for Logan, and Logan, well......he decided to run away, ignoring the calls from the other two, Logan ran all the way to his secret place, a small tree located in the back of the football stadium, he sat there a calmed down.

Verge pushed Farrah away once he heard Logan’s name being shouted, Farrah had pinned him down and forced kiss him, he felt disgusted when she did, how desperate was she in order to force kiss someone? He walked up to the guys and said “ What’s wrong guys” Roman tightened his jaw and said “Turns out Virgil, Logan and us saw you sucking faces with Farrah and Lo ran away” Verge went cold, how is he going to explain to Logan what happened “Let’s go find him” Ro looked at him and said “Let’s? I think you have done enough damage for today Virgil, I don’t want to see you near Logan again, and that’s a warning, come on Pat” Pat nodded and followed Roman, Farrah got close to him and said “Finally, now where were we” She wrapped her arms around him, but in a blur, Verge pushed he away from him, he told her with clenched teeth “Listen Farrah, I will never, and I mean NEVER go out with a slut like you, get this in your little brain, I. LIKE. LOGAN. Ok, I’M GAY” from his anger, he ran outside from school and drove off in his motorcycle to nowhere.

“Why does this hurt too much, I knew I would never have an opportunity with Virgil” He thought too himself as he breathed slowly, Meanwhile Roman and Patton looked all over the campus to find Logan, they were afraid for him, but they were really mad at Virgil, especially Roman, how could he say to have a crush on Logan and still devour Farrah’s face, he would make sure to keep Verge away from Logan, if Verge didn’t protect Logan, Patton and hi would do it “Have you seen him Ro” Pat was starting to get anxious, a state Roman, and in this case, nobody from school has ever seen him “Please Pat, calm down, he couldn’t have disappeared, what if we check the stadium” Pat walked with him towards the stadium, once there , they looked every were, Patton could see a small silhouette from afar, and once he got close enough, he saw “Logan” He lifted his view from the ground, and saw Patton walking towards him “Oh, Logan, I’m glad we found you, I was worried sick about you, don’t you ever leave us like that” Logan could see the relief on Patton, and behind him was Roman “You ok man?” He smiled towards him in sympathy “I am ok, I did not feel well, so I came for fresh air” He knew he couldn’t mask it, but he was going to try “Look, I can tell that the whole scene was what caused you to leave so abruptly, don’t worry about Virgil, I’ll make sure to keep him away from you, as for Chris and his gang, you have me know, and I’m not leaving you” Ro kneeled down and placed his hand on his shoulder “I may not be strong, but I’ll kick them in their butts if they dare touch my friend” Logan couldn’t help but to grin when Pat called him friend, somebody actually cares for him...

The day passed, and everyone was talking about Verge storming out of school, Logan decided to not pay attention to the word around school, it was 9:30 pm, he was about to go to bed when he heard a small hit on his window, once he looked outside, he saw Virgil in a horrible state “Virgil, why are you in my house, please leave” Verge climbed up a tree which lead straight into Logan’s room, Logan could smell alcohol all over his body “Virgil, you reek of booze, have you been drinking?” verge laughed and made his fingers indicating small “Just a little bit” Logan still was hurt from the event of the day “Please leave my residence Virgil, I do not wish to be your acquaintance anymore” Verge flinched and said, well, more like slur “Please Lo.... Don’t say that, please don’t leave me” Verge started to cry at the thought of Logan leaving him, he just couldn’t “Virgil, please keep quiet, my mother is in the other room” Verge placed his finger on his mouth and laughed “Why are you here Virgil” Logan placed him on his bed and Verge said “I wanted to say sorry about today, I never wanted to kiss her, she forced me” Logan didn’t know if to believe him or not, but he had to get enough proof “Virgil, I do not care if you kissed Farrah, you obvious like her” Verge shot up and said “That is not true Logan, I don’t like her, I like someone else” Logan turned around and said “Who is it then, the news spread around school, so the girl you like might now you kissed her” Verge laughed at his statement, but the word her made him laugh harder “Logan, I can’t believe you still don’t get it, the way I act with you, the fact I gave you my jacket, and me protecting you from everyone who dares look at you wrong, Logan..... I love you”

So if you're still taking questions, which if you're not then just ignore me, what were your plans for the Little Mermaid arc? And what world, was going to come after it?

The Mane Six strike a deal with Ursula to become sea ponies so they can go underwater and chase down the Evil Manta, who damaged the Starlight. They called Tony Stark and he said he’d send a drone to that world with repair materials for the ship, but it might take a few days.

When underwater, the ponies run into Gabriella (from the animated series - a lot of characters from extended canon turn up here), who guides them to Atlantica. There, they see Sebastian taking auditions from various characters (Ariel, her sisters and friends) for a musical revue. The ponies try out.

Meanwhile, Ursula forms an evil alliance of herself, Evil Manta (who is her father), Morgana, Flotsam, Jetsam, Undertow, Cloak, Dagger, Marina Del Rey, Benjamin, Lobster Mobster, and Shrimp. The latter four have to be broken out of jail by Morgana.

Little Evil sees the jailbreak and swimming off to see what all the hullabaloo is about, since he recognizes his sister Morgana in it. When the villain entourage arrives at Ursula’s grotto, everyone gets acquainted. Ursula is less than thrilled to know she’s working with Lobster Mobster, but the tone of the room completely changes when Ursula and Morgana ask how their little brother has been and Little Evil is, well, Little Evil, calling his dad “Popsie” and not being evil at all. Evil Manta is sheepish and tries to defend his parenting tactics, as he loves his son whether he’s evil or not. Ursula gives Evil Manta some shit about his previous schemes, that now it will require a little more than complimenting people to spread prejudice. She also brings up the boot.

The villains’ overall plan is to spread prejudice throughout all the Seven Seas by having Evil Manta go between the various nations and spread tidings of war, namely telling each nation that all the others are out to get it. Nations include Atlantica, Olympia, Valhalla, the Chasm (“Charmed”), Ablow Kadablow (“Giggles”), Sharkania, and I think there were some more in there that I’m forgetting. The goal is to get them all to go to war against each other and destroy each other, particularly Atlantica so Triton will leave the throne clear for Ursula to take over.

The Atlantican squadron figures this out. Triton takes a small delegation - Attina, Urchin, and a couple of the sea ponies - with him to one of the affected nations for a peace talk. He cautions Ariel to please, please, PLEASE stay out of this one and remain at home where it’s safe. She of course doesn’t listen and takes her own faction, which would have had Pinkie Pie, at least one other pony, and probably Gabriella and Arista, to another nation. As you can probably guess, this was my big chance to give all Ariel’s sisters actual screen time. Like they DIDN’T really get in Ariel’s Beginning. I was also going to play things up between the sisters, Urchin, Gabriella, Pearl, and Little Evil for ships to see if anything stuck. I currently don’t know what the most likely candidates were for those ships. I do know the one big endgame ship I wanted to play for was Marina/Lobster Mobster. Which I’m slightly trash for. Anyway, a delegation of the Atlantica contingent plus the remaining ponies (Twilight is in this group) remains home at Atlantica just in time for a big invasion - this one I KNOW was by the blowfish of Ablow Kadablow - forcing them to try diplomatic tactics early.

I think Triton’s faction went to Valhalla. That or Sharkania. A few interesting things go on in that faction. Attina informs Urchin that one of the biggest reasons Triton took such a shine to him is because of an older brother the sisters had who apparently died. As you can guess, this is Myde, who would later become Demyx, and he didn’t die; he ran away from home. Anyway, Triton sees Urchin as a chance to get the bonding he lost when Myde disappeared. Marina and Lobster Mobster are dispatched to take care of Triton during this bit, and they use the youth spell from “Red” to turn Triton into a baby, which they then kidnap. This results in shenanigans of the two of them acting as the worst parents ever (in a reference to “Double Bubble,” where LM gets a soft spot for two royal baby hostages). That leaves the other members of his faction to try and rescue him.

In Ariel’s faction, she and Pinkie Pie bond the most.

In the stay-at-home faction, Twilight tries a drastic move to seal away the Evil Manta with magic when next he comes around. Under some circumstance or another, the Manta DOES come to Atlantica to try and attack it, and Twilight attempts to seal him in the volcano all by herself. She fails and the Manta breaks free. This activates the clause in Ursula’s contract where Twilight doesn’t get to keep her sea pony form if she tries and fails to subdue the Manta, and she turns back into a human. She quickly hides before anyone can see her, using magic to conjure up air to breathe. Everyone thinks she died or disappeared somehow in the conflict against the Manta, except for whatever other pony stayed in this faction, who just gets super worried.

I didn’t know what was going to happen to resolve the Triton conflict or what happened with Ariel’s faction at all. That was going to be me making it up as I went along. I only knew I had to hit up all the nations and send delegates from each to Atlantica due to the peace talks. Twilight’s storyline was the one I fleshed out most. Now a human, Twilight makes her way back to Ursula’s grotto on foot on the seabed, remembering that the sea witch offered her hospitality if something like this ever happened. On the way, she passes through Shark Canyon (“Trident True”) and uses the glowing shells to form a light rainbow that she uses to Iris-Message Mozenrath. She catches him in the middle of a quest that would become a later interlude focused on him; all the conversations would be replayed from his POV at that time. Basically, once again, while the Mane Six have a year plus’ worth of adventures, only three or so days pass for him. Anyway, he briefly mentions that he and Hecate are out on a mission against someone named “Nasira.” Mozenrath and Twilight exchange some pleasantries and build the ship, but then Twilight has to be on her way. The next place she ends up is the ship of Archimedes (“Metal Fish”). Archimedes, being the only merperson besides Ariel to sympathize with humans, offers Twilight guidance and escorts her to Ursula’s grotto. Now, Evan brought up to me when I was piecing this whole thing together that Archimedes was almost certainly dead by the time TLM1 happens, or else Ariel would have brought the Dinglehopper to him instead of Scuttle. While I don’t normally kill characters in EoH, this was a perfect opportunity to give the Manta some street cred. Twilight and Archimedes arrive at Ursula’s grotto to find the Manta chillin’ with the villains there, and Twilight realizes she’s been taken for a ride. Evil Manta kills Archimedes; Little Evil sees this and is horrified. Ursula then turns Twilight into a sea worm for her garden.

Meanwhile, delegates from all the various nations gather in Atlantica and get over their differences. Pinkie Pie and Ariel figure out that the way to end Evil Manta’s reign of terror is with a song. They set up a plan of attack. When the Manta next arrives in Atlantica, wanting to know why the hell war hasn’t broken out over the entire Seven Seas, he’s met by a choir of merfolk and fish singing “No One Together” by Kansas, which you saw in the revue rehearsal scene. This is enough to chase him back to the volcano and seal it over with magic without using the Elements of Harmony at all!

Back in the grotto, Little Evil feels bad for what happened to Twilight, and he takes a potion from Ursula’s cabinet and uses it to restore Twilight’s sea pony form. They race to Atlantica as fast as they can. On the way, Little Evil talks about how much he loves his dad, and Twilight begins to wonder if sealing the Evil Manta away is the right thing after all. But by the time they get to Atlantica, it’s too late. The Manta is already back inside the volcano, and Little Evil is devastated. It comes out around this time that Ariel was the one who sicced the Brain Sponge on the Manta in “A Little Evil,” which Little Evil canonically never saw happen. Feeling betrayed by everyone he considered friend, Little Evil flees. Twilight chases him to comfort him. He tells her that while everyone is probably expecting him to go evil over this, he doesn’t really want to. He just needs to take some time to himself to think everything over. Twilight lets him go, and he begins soul-searching across the seas.

Triton and Ursula have a face-off, but Triton ultimately lets her go free and unpunished due to lingering feelings he has for her. He believes deep down that she can change, which is sadly his mistake.

The musical revue might go on, or it might just get replaced by everyone singing the Manta away and we call that a performance.

A definite scrapped subplot involved having Daniel (“Island of Fear”) mutate into a crab person because of Vile’s experiment hitting him latently, and him going underwater to join the main crew of heroes. Ultimately, I decided to keep Daniel human and on land; he would become more relevant on the return trip during the Kingdom Hearts run.

When the Mane Six get back to shore, they find that Tony Stark didn’t send a drone to fix the ship after all. He came in person on a ship of his own. He just got done repairing the Starlight, and the Mane Six decide to let him tag along on the next adventure. When they take off, it’s with Tony Stark in tow.

The last scene of the storylet catches up with a now-human Myde playing in a troop of street musicians in a square in Ashmark. He is approached by two strange women, who turn out to be Rosalina (Super Mario Galaxy) and Midna (Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess). The two of them tell him he’s who they’ve been looking for. He’s afraid they’re Atlanticans who came to drag him back home - he left and stole potions from Ursula to become human because he wanted to evade that kind of responsibility, and Ursula forever resents him for being able to steal from her and get away with it alive - but he soon realizes they’re there for an entirely different reason, one that would be revealed in a later interlude.

This catches up the Mane Six’s timeline with that of the Overtakers.

The next world would have been from the young adult book series “Maximum Ride.”
