ugh my art juices keep going to low after each art i posted, anyway!
imma rambling about jessie thoughts so. apologizes in advance for a long post just in case.
--
There's something about thinking about how I had viewed Jessie when I first played as her in 2017 and when I think about them now in 2022/2023. I'm using the pronouns on purpose because Jessie in 2017 was she/her for a long time, and now I rewrite my hc & ideas for Jessie being they/them recently <;'3c
also for reference: Jesse is the default MC of the series, while Jessie with a 'i', for me, is the red clipped F!Jesse I played and replayed a lot in the series!
Jessie in 2017 was... a much more happy go lucky woman, she was always a cheery person and very positive despite the things she go through. This was played off the fact I played Jesse as someone who is often very nice and very... adventurous? I played a literal Nice and Friendly Jesse at that time, and now...
I focused on how the growth affect Jessie in S1 and S2.
'Cause in Season One, the theme is finding your destiny and becoming your own hero. (Of course, S1's DLC arc had also reshaped how you viewed what 'hero' actually meant.) and Season Two was... various ways of what is like to be a hero OR what isn't like to be a hero. Like, S2 was throughout about weither you want to retire from being a hero or continue to be one.
Being a Hero meant reputation, people look up to you, expectations, and you know so-so.
(It's why I felt Petra hated that kind of reputation once she realized it was too much and why she left the Order, because it is too much and also because she argues with Jessie over Jessie's willingness to lead a town on their own. Something Petra was against it because she personally don't like to be in one place. Literally. And the fact. Petra (and honestly everyone) could see that Jessie doesn't need to lead. But Jessie already chose it. They have to.)
When you think of being a hero, it's like going on a adventure, but then it doesn't made sense with Petra's situation who hates the idea of being a leader of a town because it tied with being a 'hero'.
So with that in mind, a hero is just a title that was given to you. It was a heavy weight, more than you ever think of.
Jessie fucking took it. Jessie took the offer to lead because they think it is the right thing as a hero. This is what heroes need, a town to be protected and to be lead by. It's also understandable that they might seen how Axel and Olivia have their places in their own towns. Through Axel's case was a abrupt one, and I like to think that Axel is just a unofficial King and rather turn Boomtown into a community of griefers that learnt that it is okay to take a break. While Olivia was more of a teaching position she eagerly taken from Ellegaard after being under her wings for a long while.
Where Jessie... thought it was a great idea to be in a town and you know have something to do for the town like their friends did.
In my AU, Axel got the Boomtown from late Magnus and Olivia basically live in Redstonia with the tutelage from Ellegaard...
It made sense the first Hero of Residence was Gabriel. I like to think that after he revealed the truth, he promised to show he does care and want to truly protect-- that is how Beacontown was created on these principles. It was why he had offer the reins to Jessie. And Jessie, knowing it is a huge responsibly, took it because that is what heroes do, right?
Anyway, Jessie would struggle with being a 'hero' to everyone, and I meant at some point Lukas and Olivia practically convinced Jessie to hire someone to help manage the extra task Jessie was putting themself through-- That is how Radar came to be under Jessie's tutelage. Why he's still a intern for a while.
Honestly the final straw for Jessie to finally realized it wasn't worth being a 'hero' --it was when The Admin literally destroyed the town, and they were so, so, so tired. Yet! Yet! They still go after him. They still stopped a literal god from not just taking the control of their town, but the whole damn worlds.
In my AU, both endings of S2 are fused.
Jessie stayed to recover, because logically, beside these letters, Jessie is not only have to get used to having a missing limb, Jessie got to catch up with people. Then slowly transferring everything they had to Radar who was surprised about the offer. Thankfully, Jessie doesn't rush it. It take a year for not just Jessie's recovery but for Radar to able to have a proper training in becoming the next Mayor after Jessie.
And when they do recovered, Petra comes-- the one who hated the term 'hero', the one who rather move a lot than stay in one place only to realize it was Jessie all along, and the one who Jessie had promised to go on a adventure.
That doesn't need to be a hero. That doesn't need to be a warrior.
What a adventure need is two adventurers going on a long journey of simply adventuring, nothing else.
And that's why Jessie, my Jesse I played as, retired from being a 'hero'.

MCSM Origins Book I: Enter Lapilisia Lazul - Part 2
Summary:
Lapis and Emerl arrive in the Nether to find Magnus and Ellegaard, two members of the Order of the Stone, fighting some ghasts. After aiding in their defeat, Lapis receives an offer that chnages everything.
Tumblr media
Previous Chapter: Here
Next Chapter: Here
Lapis held tightly to the edges of the minecart as she prepared herself mentally for whatever chaos was awaiting her and Emerl. Lapis was sure that if she had a heart, it’d be beating out of her chest. As the carts got closer, Lapis and Emerl heard the cries of the ghasts, explosions and yelling.
“Magnus, watch where you’re exploding those things!”
“Hey, it’s not my fault you keep getting in the way!”
Lapis heard Emerl sigh as she muttered, “Those two, I swear…” Emerl then turned back to face Lapis, “Get ready! It’s showtime!”
The carts turned a corner and grinded to a stop as Emerl noticed a large crater where the tracks should be. Floating above were three ghasts – one with two arrows in it. Another arrow just barely grazed the ghast as Lapis turned to see where it had come from. Bow and arrow in hand, Lapis saw a woman with brown hair and pale skin, wearing brown, black and gold armour with redstone embedded in the chest armour, along with brown pants and dark red boots.
Tumblr media
“Fire in the hole!!!”
Lapis jumped in surprise as a TNT block went flying into one of the ghasts, destroying it. Standing behind what looked like a hastily-put-together TNT cannon was a bald man with a black bandanna tied around his head with holes for his eyes. He wore green armour with a leather belt and four yellow buttons on his chest, along with brown and gold gloves and boots.
Tumblr media
“Ha! What were you saying, Ellie?” Magnus yelled with a cocky smirk. Emerl saw one of the ghasts launch a fireball at Magnus. “Magnus, heads up!” Emerl yelled out as she dived between Magnus and the fireball, blocking it with her shield. “Nice timing, Emerl.” Ellegaard nodded to the emerald Gem as she aimed her bow at the ghasts, “These ghasts ambushed us while we were building the rails.”
“Where’s Ivor, Soren and Gabriel?” Emerl yelled out as she reflected another fireball with her shield. “Up ahead finishin’ the rails!” Magnus replied as he loaded another stack of TNT into the cannon, “They told us to distract while they finish it off.” Magnus noticed Lapis as she climbed – albeit clumsily – out of the minecarts, “Who’s the noob?”
“That’s Lapis. I found her while patrolling the forest.” Emerl replied before turning to Lapis, “Alright, Lapis. Show me what you got!”
“R-right!” Lapis stuttered as she summoned her weapon. It was a long whip with small blue crystals encrusted in the whip. The handle was also blue with golden markings. Lapis held onto the handle with both hands as she wound back and flung the whip forward like a fishing rod. It wrapped itself around one of the ghast’s tentacles. Lapis ran over to where Emerl, Magnus and Ellegaard was and began pulling the whip towards her, reeling in the ghast, “I got it! Go ham on it before it destroys us!”
“Not bad, kid!” Magnus smirked as he launched another TNT at the trapped ghast, destroying it. “One more left!” Emerl called out. “Look out!” Ellegaard yelled as the last ghast fired a fireball at the group. “I got it! Stand back!” Lapis flung her whip at the fireball, causing it to wrap around it. She spun it around like in hammer-toss, until she finally released it – falling onto the ground in the process – and the fireball went hurtling back towards the ghast, killing it. Lapis breathed heavily as she got to her feet, staring at where the ghast once was. “Ok…that was pretty freakin’ awesome!” Magnus laughed as he gave Lapis a hearty slap on the back, causing her to stumble a bit, “What was your name again, kid?”
“Lapilisia Lazul.” Lapis replied with a smile, “But you can call me Lapis.”
“Pleasure to meet you, Lapis.” Ellegaard gave a small smile as she walked up to her, “My name is Ellegaard, and the reckless nutcase here is Magnus.”
“Well, at least I’m not an egghead know-it-all!” Magnus argued.
“Oh, is that the best argument you could think of? Maybe if you emptied all that gunpowder out of your head, you could actually make a logical thought.”
“Well your head is so full of redstone, I sometimes wonder if you’re actually human and not some redstone creation!”
Lapis glanced back and forth between Magnus and Ellegaard as they argued before turning to Emerl, “Are they-”
“Always like this? Yep.” Emerl finished with a sigh before interrupting the two bickering humans, “If you two aren’t busy acting like children, the rails got damaged during the fight and need to be fixed before the others get back.”
“Oh, of course.” Ellegaard nodded as she walked away from Magnus who just glared at her, “This ain’t over, Ellie!”
“It never is…” Emerl muttered under her breath as she went to help Ellegaard with the rails. “So you’re like Emmie, eh?” Magnus asked, motioning to her gemstone, “My guess is a Lapis?”
“Nope. Azurite.” Lapis grinned. “Oh. I thought since your name is Lapis, it’d be a…” Magnus seemed genuinely surprised but was cut off by Lapis giggling, “I’m just kidding. I’m a Lapis Lazuli.”
“Yeah, I knew that! I was just…playing along! Yeah!” Magnus grinned smugly, “Anyways, I’m Magnus – greatest griefer in the world and king of Boomtown. Ellie over there is our redstone nerd and ruler of Nerdtopia.”
“Redstonia!” Ellegaard called over her shoulder. Magnus just stuck his tongue out at her, earning a chuckle from Lapis. “I can hear your insufferable bickering from down the rails!” A voice called out as three minecarts clattered down the rails just as Ellegaard and Emerl finished the repairs. The first to climb out, who Lapis assumed was the one who called out, was a man with long, slick black hair, an unkept beard, and pale skin that looked like it hadn’t seen the sun in years. He wore a long olive coat with black shoes and a leather belt with a lapis stone on it.
Tumblr media
“At least you managed to get rid of the ghasts. I would’ve been able to take them on, but we needed to finish the rails first.” A man with dark skin, dark brown eyes and a dark moustache said as he climbed out of the cart. He wore dark blue armour with diamonds embedded in it.
Tumblr media
Another man with ginger hair with a moustache and beard with tanned leather armour, grey gloves and pants climbed out behind him, “Well, we got the rails to the ice spikes portal finished, that’s the important part.”
Tumblr media
“Glad to hear that the rail is the important part and not the fact that we nearly got roasted by ghasts.” Magnus rolled his eyes as he folded his arms. “You know Soren didn’t mean it like that, Magnus.” Emerl sighed. Ivor glanced at Lapis, “And who’s this?”
“Uh, hi! I’m Lapis! And I guess you’re Ivor?” Lapis smiled. “How’d you guess that?” Ivor asked narrowing his eyes at the Gem. “Emerl said Ivor was a person who looked super grumpy but was actually really nice.”
“W-WHAT?!” Ivor seemed taken aback, his face turning red, as Emerl turned away quickly to hide her face from Ivor. Magnus burst into laughter as Gabriel, Soren and Ellegaard chuckled a little. “Oh…oh geez! That face…haha!!” Magnus wheezed while pointing at Ivor, “Lapis, that was awesome!”
“I mean…she’s not wrong, Ivor.” Soren shrugged. Ivor just shot him a glare before sighing, “Let’s just head back before more of those ghast show up.”
Lapis went to follow the rest of the Order back to the carts when her gem and eyes suddenly began to glow. Lapis saw herself push Magnus out of the way as a fireball hit her in the shoulder, causing her to poof. Lapis snapped out of her vision and sighed, “Poofed twice in one day? It’s better than that time I was poofed five times in that tournament back home…” Lapis climbed into one of the minecarts as she and the Order zoomed back to where the main portal was.
 ————————————————————
“So you survived the creeper explosion, but was poofed by hitting the ground?”
“Yep. Pretty silly, huh?”
Emerl and Lapis were explaining how they met as they approached the portal. “Don’t beat yourself up.” Ellegaard replied, “Emerl once got poofed by a baby pigman on our first trip to the Nether after beating a large army of them.”
“The lil’ brat snuck up on me! How was I supposed to see him?!” Emerl called from the back of the carts, earning a laugh from the rest of the group. “I have to say, however,” Ellegaard continued, “Your skills were pretty impressive back there.”
“Aw, ‘twas nothin’” Lapis blushed a light shade of blue – which made her gold freckles stand out – as she scratched the back of her neck sheepishly. “Whoa! Cool markings, kid.” Magnus pointed out, looking at Lapis over his shoulder. “Oh, you mean my freckles?” Lapis asked, motioning to the small golden dots on her cheek, “Some lapis Gems have gold markings or specks on their gems that carry over to their physical form. And I’m one of them. It’s pretty rare back home, so I’m pretty proud of my babies!”
Magnus laughed as Lapis poked both of her cheeks and stuck out her tongue. “So where are you off to next?” Gabriel asked. “Dunno.” Lapis shrugged, “I’ve been kinda wandering aimlessly ever since I got here.”
“Well, if you like,” Soren began, “From what Emerl, Magnus and Ellegaard are saying, you seem like a capable fighter, and I’m sure Emerl wouldn’t mind the extra pair of hands. You could stay with the Order if you want.”
“Really?” Lapis exclaimed, “Th-that’s alright with-?”
Lapis was cut off by a familiar cry from behind as the carts arrived at the steps to the portal. “Uh oh. We have company!” Emerl called out, seeing a ghast giving chase to them. “Quick! To the portal!” Gabriel yelled as everyone clambered out of the carts and dashed up the steps. As the Order began to jump through the portal, Lapis remembered her vision and quickly ran at Magnus, “Magnus, watch out!” She pushed Magnus out of the way as the fireball slammed into her shoulder and poofed her, sending her gem clattering onto the ground. “Lapis!” Magnus exclaimed as he quickly grabbed her gem and dashed into the portal after the rest of the Order.
Upon reaching the other side, Emerl glanced around to make sure everyone got through, “Wait. Where’s Lapis?”
“I have her.” Magnus replied, holding up Lapis’s gem, “She got poofed saving me from that ghast. It was kinda weird though. It was like she knew it was gonna happen.”
“That’s because Lapis is a Shard like me. Except her power is the ability to see future events before they happen.” Emerl explained. As she said this, Lapis’s gem began to glow brightly. “Um, Magnus? You might wanna put the gem-” Emerl was cut off as Lapis reformed and landed right on top of Magnus.
“ACK!”
“OOF!”
“…down.” Emerl finished with a sigh. Lapis rubbed her forehead before noticing she was on top of Magnus and quickly got off him with a small blush on her face before helping him up, “Er, sorry! Are you okay?”
“Yep, I’m good!” Magnus replied, dusting himself off, “I’ve had worse.”
“He’s not joking about that, by the way.” Ellegaard added, “He nearly dies every Tuesday.”
“I think that’s kinda exaggerating a bit.” Magnus rolled his eyes. “It’s not.” The rest of the Order replied in near unison.
“Anyway, since we were rudely interrupted by that ghast before,” Soren began, “What’s your decision, Lapis.”
“I think the proof’s in the pumpkin pie.” Emerl chuckled as she motioned to Lapis’s robes. They were the same as before, but now bore the same symbol Emerl had on her cloak, except hers was blue and gold. Lapis smiled proudly and nodded. “Alright!” Magnus laughed as he wrapped an arm around the gem and gave her a noogie, “Welcome to the Order, kid!” Lapis laughed before being eventually released from Magnus’s noogie hold. She could feel excitement bubble up within her. This was the beginning of a brand-new adventure…
…but not in the way she was expecting.
 To Be Continued...

How do the old and new Order of the Stone react to having a s/o that isn't really big in adventuring? They're not exactly athletic and they scare easy. They always rise to the occasion when needed, but the whole idea of adventuring kind if makes them uncomfortable and anxious.
(Old order huh? Okay this might be a bit difficult for Soren and Gabriel because 1. Soren’s personality probably changed a ton during the events that led to MCSM. and 2. I barely ever see Gabriel be himself because I keep letting him get amnesia (spoiler)  but I’ll try. I’m guessing old Soren was still energetic and not as paranoid as he is now. Oh and I wrote it so for the Old Order it was back in their days instead of them being how they were in game.)
(New order is easier to work with cause their the main cast for crying out loud. I don’t think I can do Jesse though. Male or Female cause you kinda decide their personality and it just feels weird. And I’m putting Ivor for the new order because I cannot imagine how he used to act for the life of me yet)
Old Order
Magnus
-He doesn’t fully understand but he tries to for you
-He will try to help you with your fears though
-He’ll offer to take you out on walks and such just to get you a bit used to being in the wild (assuming he could actually leave Boom Town or wherever then)
-If you refuse he’ll be a bit dissapointed but he’ll bring some stuff back from his adventures
-If you wanna work on being athletic and being scared he’s there to help you with that no matter what
-If not he’ll still love you for who you are
-When you do rise to the occasion he’s just so proud of you
-Probably won’t show it totally but will try to find a way to brag to everyone about how you did that
-He might mock you a bit for being scared but he doesn’t mean any harm
-Like light hearted teasing
-Overall though he’s a bit dissapointed at the fact that you don’t do well while adventuring but he’s still there for you
-Small bonus: If he is stuck in Boom Town and you’re there with him, yeah he understands because he can’t leave the place without being chased by greifers
Ellegaard
-She understands a lot more than the rest
-She can see how adventuring can make you anxious because of all the possibilities of what can happen out there
-She’s probably busy working on things in Redstonia or wherever so she’s not really out that much
-When she is though, she always makes sure you’ll be okay without her regardless of what way it’s in
-I don’t think she’s the best when it comes to being athletic so she understands that bit
-Probably gets scared easier than the rest so yeah she understands
-Might tell you there’s nothing to worry about which seems harsh but she just wants to calm you do
-When you do step up though...oh boy
-Get ready for her to keep telling you how amazing you were and such
-Basically understands a lot and doesn’t find it a huge issue
Soren
-He loves adventure, just almost everything about it is perfect
-Well besides mobs but that’s besides the point
-So he’ll need some explaining on why you feel that way
-He does slightly understand though, despite not being as paranoid as he is now, he’s still cautious
-He’s probably busy studying things (probably building related) so he’s not busy being out THAT much
-Will try and encourage you to get out a bit more and might come off as forceful but he just wants to help you overcome your fears
-You rising up though, well it’s kinda a mix of Magnus and Ellegaard
-He’s bragging to everyone about how “brave” you were (doesn’t matter how small it was) and constant praising
-He’s probably gonna stay like that for at least a few weeks so be ready
Gabriel
-Being a warrior, he was built to be out there in the open and taking to the fights
-But surprisingly, he does understand the hesitance
-This being because he likely has more experience on the good and the bad out there
-He won’t force you to go out but will make some light encouragements
-The rising up bit?
-He’ll praise you a lot but doesn’t go extremely far with it
-But in conclusion, he’s with you no matter who you are
New Order
Lukas
-Very much so understanding
-He used to be afraid of adventuring a bit and he still kind of scares easily
-He doesn’t really mind that much
-He does bring you gifts from his adventures though, which is nice
-Usually stuff like gems or flowers or maybe even some artifacts
-When you do rise up though, he just tells you how amazing you were and how he knew that you were capable of something like that
-Can range from totally freaking out to just very proud depending on what you did
Petra
-Confused but doesn’t really say much
-Each to their own she supposes
-Semi understands the fear though
-Brings you gifts similar to Lukas’ but more gems and stuff
-She’s pretty surprised when you do rise up
-Tries not to freak out but she does let you know how proud she is
-Quickly cuts off from it because she thinks she’s being a bit too “sappy”
-Brags about it here and there
Olivia
-Despite how much she loves to adventure, she always had a part of her that was a bit scared of it
-So she completely understands the fear
-She’ll try and help you get over it like she managed to though
-If you accept, she’ll be proud of you and do her best to help
-If not, she’s still proud of you for speaking up about how you prefer not to
-She can range to simple shock to enteral fangirling
-When simply shocked she’ll tell you how cool that was when you did that
-Fangirling though, she’ll rant about about great you were and later being embarrassed when she realizes that she was doing that
Axel
-This big guy was always someone who loved adventure
-So he’ll ask a lot of questions
-But in the end he does his best to accept it
-Brings you gifts aswell but this time their a bit more dorky and bizarre
-For example- A somehow alive pufferfish he found in the ocean
-Basically fanboying when he sees you rise up
-Doesn’t matter what you did, he’s amazed and won’t shut up about it for a while
Ivor
-Obviously a adventure freak
-Loves it almost more than anything else (besides you)
-So he’s pretty shocked when he finds out it scares you
-Will literally sit you down and ask a bunch of questions and give you some recommendations on how to be a bit “braver” so to speak
-If you’re not comfortable with this you’re going to have to tell him
-He’ll just suddenly stop and mumble a quick apology while asking that you at least keep some of his recommendations in mind
-Will bring you some gifts here and there
-Nothing specific really just trinkets that he found
-But he does go on and on about how his adventure went to you
-Rise up though and he’s a mess
-Eternal fanboying and ranting on what you did for hours until he notices how “out of character” he is and quickly goes back to his facade before mumbling something like “I mean...That was....Great. Good job”
(OKAY I think that’s all of them. Sooo very sorry if this wasn’t what you wanted. This took me forever and I think I got a bit of the traits wrong. I could research Gabriel a bit but it’s far to late and I’m tired so maybe another time. Hope that you at least enjoyed it a bit!)

Story Mode Christmas Day 12: Shopping for Presents
“Shopping..shopping…” Ellegaard traversed the entrance of the shop contemplating a unique battle strategy to combat her worst nemesis: Christmas shopping.  However, she couldn’t really think logically with an awestruck hyperactive Magnus as a shopping partner.
As great as Magnus was…well…nevermind. Magnus didn’t have great qualities to speak of.  Sure he has some redeeming qualities like his sensitivity and sometimes inventive ideas, but he had a lot lacking in the useful department.  For one, he had an annoying fascination with destroying things.  Especially her things.
“Hey, Ellie!”  Aaaaand here we go.  This was going to be a long shopping trip.
“This better be important, Magnus.  And don’t call me ‘Ellie.’”
Magnus obviously wasn’t listening to anything she was saying.  “Sure, Ellie.  But how about this?  Scavenger hunt.”
“You can’t be serious.” Unfortunately, he looked dead serious. Oh boy.  “Magnus, we can’t.  Christmas shopping, remember?  There’s no time for-”
“Oh come on! Christmas shopping is boring!  I always look at things for myself instead of what I’m supposed to be looking for.  I need a game to do to keep this interesting.”
“So competitive play helps you shop for Christmas presents?”  Disbelieving, Ellegaard raised a skeptical eyebrow.
“Yup. Absolutely.  Will you play?”  He was definitely hyper.  Honestly though, there was something kind of endearing about it.  Wait, what?
Pushing that random thought aside, Ellegaard couldn’t believe what she was dealing with.  He was asking her to play a game with him instead of shopping?  “Does this game have anything to do with actually shopping?”
“Oh yeah!  See, you have to find certain items on these lists I made up, but each item is something one of us likes, so it helps with the shopping. First one to find them all wins!”
“What’s the catch?”
Magnus smiled mischievously at that.  Bad sign. “Winner asks loser whatever question they want.”
“That’s it?”  That couldn’t be it.  He was up to something.  The problem was…what?  “Is there a particular question you have in mind that you’re so eager to ask me?”
“Not any that comes to mind. Nope.  Not at all!”  He answered quickly, his words barely distinguishable.  He was lying.  No doubt about it.  Still, she had to play her cards right.  If she won, she could ask him something embarrassing in front of the Order.  Or in public.  Hmm…the idea had a certain appeal to it.
Hold up, was she actually going to agree to this?  This had to be literally the worst idea in the history of the universe.  “Fine.  I’ll play, but this better help me with shopping and not just be one of your schemes, or I swear to you-”
“Aww, Ellie!  You’re the best!”  Before she even had time to finish her thought, Magnus pulled her into a hug.  Awkwardly, she pushed him away and patted him on the back instead.  The hug was nice, but no way she would reciprocate it and let him know that.  His ego didn’t need to get any bigger than it already was.
“Yes, fine.  Now where’s the list?”
Magnus produced two lists from his inventory and handed one to her.  She scanned it briskly, noticing the items consisted of a large array of items tailored to the interests of her and her friends.  For instance, there was an entire section of redstone-related things (repeaters, dispensers, tripwire hooks etc.), a different section of potion-making (specific books, spider eyes, glass bottles etc.) and three other sections tailored to the rest of the order.  Maybe this wasn’t such a bad idea after all.  This wouldn’t be too hard, plus she could organize and prioritize her shopping.  It might actually be fun.
Magnus stared at her eagerly.  “Ready?”
Ellegaard just smirked. “As I’ll ever be.”
“First one back here wins! 3…2…1…GO!”  Magnus dashed into the shop, effectively ditching her.  Well, she wasn’t going to let him win.  She darted to the other side of the store to begin the hunt.
An hour or two later, Ellegaard had found everything on the list and marked it off.  She hadn’t seen Magnus the entire time, which was probably for the best.  She bought her gifts and headed for the shop entrance.  She had finished so quickly, she was almost positive Magnus would still be looking, but to her dismay, he was already standing at the door wearing a smug look on his face. Well, there goes his ego.
“I won, Ellie!”  He exclaimed as she approached.
“So I see,” Ellegaard stated flatly.  “Don’t call me ‘Ellie.’”
“Sure, Ellie.  Know what that means?”  He was smiling widely.
“Please tell me.” There was no humor in her words. He had to have something planned. She knew him too well, and he could ask her anything, anything, and she’d stupidly agreed to it.
“That means I get to ask you any question I want.”  He was really excited now, acting almost like a puppy.  It was actually kind of cute.  Why were these thoughts happening?!
Ellegaard sighed.  “Just…ask me quickly so we can get this over with. We’ve got to get back to the others.”
“Ok, ok, ok.”  He cleared his throat.  “I like you.  Do you like me back?”  His eyes were focused of hers, and…was he nervous?
Did he just ask if she likes him?  That’s it?  He could have asked her anything, and he chose that question?  That sly fox!  She was so surprised that she almost forgot she was supposed to answer the question.  Did she like him?  How was she supposed to admit that she does when she can’t even admit it to herself?  If she says no, then she has to deal with a heartbroken Magnus and a lie.  But if she says yes…where would that lead?  His ego would only inflate, and she’d be embarrassed beyond imagining.
Yet somehow, she couldn’t stop herself from whispering, “Yes.”

Christmas Tree
Winter manages to be the best and the worst time possible to go into the forest. Or any forest, really.
They're surrounded by pines of all sizes, from tiny saplings that barely poke out of the blanket of snow and ice covering the ground to the gigantic trees that just seem to stretch up and up and up to the sky. Each and every one has ice covered needles, snow occasionally blown from the branches by the coming and going gusts of wind, snowflakes drifting and swirling about in the air before finding some other branch to lie on and wait to be blustered off of.
It's all terribly pretty and Magnus is terribly bored. And maybe just a little cold, despite the thick coat and cap he's wearing. Boredom doesn't suit any griefer well, especially when they're maybe trying to make it a point to be just a little annoying.
Motivation's important.
"Remind me why we're getting the tree again?"
And Ivor, taller, skinnier, and nearly shaking like a leaf despite the extra number of layers he's also wearing, doesn't skip a beat.
He doesn't really stutter; he just gets grumpy, voice turning more and more into an overall grumble or growl.
He's a fun guy to mess with, and play off of, that way.
"Part of the general holiday festivities meant to keep us from murdering each other when it gets inhumanely cold and grey outside."
Ivor tends to like using roundabout language and long words that Magnus would probably have more trouble trying to spell than he'd ever like to admit, which means he fits in well with most of their friends.
But he says what everybody's thinking and Magnus won't lie; that's pretty nice.
At least, he appreciates not being the only blunt one.
"Nah, I get that." He makes a point of stretching his arms to the side until his shoulder gives a dull pop, not slowing down even as he glances about the frozen woods. "How come we're getting the tree? Like, how come it's you and me?"
He's not one of those types of people who thinks they should be constantly training or anything, but this isn't one of the normal team ups. Ivor in particular has been busier lately, because he does like to push training and how important it all is. And as much as Magnus might give him crap for it, he can at least appreciate the idea that Ivor's ready to have his back when they go toe to toe with a freaking dragon.
"You and I." He might not appreciate the reminders about how bad his grammar is, though.
"Whatever."
The question hangs, the only thing not them that's not covered in sleet and slush, and it's not affected by the unnecessary correction either. Poor grammar or not (and Ivor should just give up because when doesn't Magnus have poor grammar), Magnus knows it's a fair question, and he knows Ivor know it too.
"Because Ellegaard was ready to kill both of us, and I'd have probably already killed Soren if we hadn't left." There's a pause, and Magnus lets it sit because he can recognize a pretty obvious set up when he sees one and he knows better than to screw that up. Sure enough, it's not much longer before Ivor chuckles, pinching the bridge of his nose for a second or two before grinning at Magnus. "And I imagine they wanted the entire forest decimated."
Whether it's what they wanted or not, it's what they're getting.
Besides, it's not like this part of the forest is close to any villages or towns, and as far as he can tell, this patch is deserted enough that there likely aren't any animals even just passing through this spot, never mind living here.
"Okay, just checking that we're on the same page here." Magnus chuckles, pulling a bundle of unlit dynamite out of his pocket as he eyes the currently serene little patch of forest surrounding them. It's always easier to fell relaxed when he has a stick or two, or three, of TNT in his hand. "You bring any of those explosive potions you were working on?"
"Magnus, what kind of amateur do you take me for?" Magnus lets his grin get wider as Ivor pulls out a vial from his satchel, the potion inside shifting back and forth between orange and red as it swirls against the glass. It's a tiny bottle, but Magnus knows better than to judge the firepower of something based off size, especially when Ivor's involved and could probably make something even smaller that could destroy the entire world.  "Of course I did. They happen to be extremely useful for self-defense, as well as for taking out our misplaced aggression on a bunch of trees."
Magnus gets why he's seen as the destructive one, and he's worked hard for that title, but they're all really lucky Ivor's on their side.
"Awesome." Magnus already has his lighter in his other hand, but just because he's more than ready to blow one of these trees clean off its stump, or ideally all of them in the nosiest and messiest way possible, doesn't mean he has no manners. He just chooses to ignore them most the time. "You first?"
Ivor shakes his head, smiling as he crosses his arms and takes a very wise step away from Magnus and the scattered line of soon to be gone trees he's facing.
"I insist. I doubt I'd be able to do this with any of the others."
Gabe, maybe, but he's more of Magnus's general self-control and would probably try to play the same role for Ivor if given half the chance. Maybe they were hoping Ivor would play that role today, but Magnus is pretty sure their friends know them better than to realistically expect that.
"Thanks." Eventually one of the trees will probably survive in a big enough piece to drag home, but this is one part of the job Magnus won't mind taking a while with. "This is gonna be fun."

MCSM Countdown Day 2
Hello! Here’s a little something I wrote for day 2 of the MCSM countdown! Today’s theme: Assembly Required. I hope you enjoy it! Cheers to season 2 coming in just a few days!
Summary: As Jesse and Axel head off to Boom Town to find Magnus, Lukas and Olivia are left to fortify the temple. With doubts arising, no sign of missing friends, and the end of the world quite literally in the horizon, what will the two decide to do?
“You’re crazy,” Lukas blurted out.
Olivia looked over her shoulder at the blond, one foot had already started moving down the staircase to the lower floor of the Order of the Stone’s temple, “Gee, tell me how you really feel, Lukas.”
He shook his head, following behind her as she began heading down, and attempted to catch up to her while also not tripping down the stone steps, “That’s not what I- that came out wrong. Olivia wait a sec.”
When the two reached the bottom, Olivia let out a sigh and turned around to face him, folding her arms as her silence signaled him to speak his mind. Lukas felt some relief in this, so far Olivia proved to be the more sensible person in the group, next to Jesse. He wondered if he would even be having this conversation if Jesse had decided to go find Ellegaard and left him with Axel. Still, Lukas noticed the frowns and looks of frustration on Olivia’s face ever since the two started working on making the temple more fortified. Jesse’s decision was bothering her, it didn't take a genius to figure that out, but she hadn't spoken a word about it until just a few moments ago.
“Look, I don’t think you're wrong. Having Ellegaard to help us would be good,” Lukas began, “but you can't just go off by yourself like this. It's too risky!”
“If you're that worried, then why not come with me?” She replied, her arms dropping to her sides as she resumed walking towards the hallway they’d entered from.
“Because I told Jesse I would stay here and get this place ready for nightfall,” He sharply retorted, walking next to her, “and so did you. What do you think is gonna happen if she and Axel come back here and we’re nowhere to be seen?”
“I know, I know!” Olivia groaned, her hands gripped into fists for a moment before she sighed and allowed the tension to ease away. Much more calmly, she said, “Okay, you're right, someone has to stay here. You should. The temple’s already pretty safe now, but someone needs to be here in case Petra gets here. But I can't stay here and just wait for them to bring back Magnus. We need Ellegaard, Lukas. Someone has to do that too.”
The young builder frowned, “You shouldn't have to go alone. I know it's hard, but maybe once Jesse and Axel get back then we can head to wherever Ellegaard is.”
“Redstonia. And we don't exactly have that luxury of time on our side, not with that Wither Storm still out there,” Olivia glanced downwards, her voice growing lower, “we don't even know how long it’ll be before that thing finds us here.”
A silence brewed up once more. For the past few hours as the two worked on the temple’s defenses, the large shadow of the Wither Storm in the distance turned the sky darker as if it were a horrifying eclipse. The darkness in mid-daytime certainly kept the unnerving dread in the air present. While they tried to ignore it as they worked, the storm only seemed to get bigger every time either one of them glanced at it. The monstrosity’s growls and screeches echoed across the view, sounding more grim than an approaching thunderstorm. Thankfully it didn't appear to be moving in the direction of the temple, but as Olivia said, who knew how long that would last?
And there was still no sign of Petra...
“I’ll go through the Nether, if the Order built those tracks there's probably a way to Redstonia. That way I can avoid the Wither Storm,” Olivia attempted to reassure him, breaking the quiet.
“You’ll be safe from the Wither Storm, sure, but it's still the Nether. We barely survived that place as a group,” Lukas said, keeping an eye on the floor as to avoid the pressure plates that set off the arrow dispensers from before. One step around the plate caused him to stumble slightly.
Olivia looked down at his odd foot movement before telling him, “You don't need to do that. I found the wiring for this hallway and adjusted it. The pressure plates won't set the arrows off anymore, now they only turn on if you pull a lever back in the library.”
“Really? Well that's a relief, thanks,” Lukas said. “You’re uh, pretty good with redstone, I see.”
She shrugged, “I mean, I’m alright with it.”
Lukas ran a hand through his hair, looking up to see the iron door they’d set up at the entrance growing closer. He looked at Olivia again, who kept her eyes looking down at the floor. The blond took a deep breath and sighed, stopping at the door.
“Look, I can't stop you. If you think this is the right move, go for it,” He raised his hand to grab the lever next to the door. With a small grunt, he pulled it down, causing the iron door to swing open, letting sunlight flood into the dim room.
“Thanks Lukas,” Olivia looked up and gave him a small smile, the first one either of them had seen for a few hours, “and if it makes you feel better, I promise I'll come right back if it gets too intense.”
Lukas returned the smile and nodded. Though it quickly dropped back into a look of worry as Olivia walked outside. The young engineer paused as she stood in the grass, raising a hand to shield her eyes from the light.
“Is it just me or,” She turned around and looked back at Lukas still in the doorway, “did it get brighter out here?”
Lukas rose an eyebrow and stepped outside, following Olivia as the two climbed up the hill, passing by the makeshift treehouse shelter from the night before, and caught a glimpse of the distance ahead. No longer was the sun hidden behind a mass of monster and flying blocks being tossed up by tentacles. The Wither Storm appeared to have shifted its direction and was slowly sliding across the horizon.
“It’s moving,” Lukas muttered, “but where's it going?”
Olivia shook her head, “As long as it's not here, I don't want to know.”
The two exchanged wide-eyed looks before moving back down the hill. At the foot was where the two would split up. Olivia walking towards the nearby Nether portal, and Lukas back towards the temple.
“Hey Lukas,” Olivia called out, making Lukas stop and look over his shoulder, “get the place nice for Petra!”
He couldn't help but let out a laugh and gave her a thumbs up, “I will! Be careful, okay?”
Olivia nodded and gave him a wave as she walked forward and disappeared into the purple light of the Nether portal. Lukas stood still for a moment, watching the light tremble before stabilizing itself. A faint echo of the Wither Storm caught his ear and snapped him back into action. He quickly ran back inside the temple, shutting the iron door behind him. The young man stuffed his hands into the pockets of his leather jacket and began heading back to the staircase.
“It’ll be fine,” He said to himself in a low voice, “it’s gonna be fine.”
He wondered how long he could try to lie to himself.
Lukas paused in his walking, shutting his eyes and releasing a long breath. He didn't know what forces ran the world or decided fate, but whatever or whoever did, he asked them to let at least one person come back. At least one. Jesse, Axel, Olivia, Petra, Reuben,  Aiden, Maya, Gill, or heck, even Gabriel. Just let him have someone come back. Just so he could feel some relief.
Just so he wouldn't have to do this alone.

“if i’m not flickering the lights and you’re not flickering the lights, then who else is in the room with us?” or person a and person b get stuck in an actual haunted house together: can include anyone in the Old Order pls thank ily
(So, I might’ve taken this prompt the wrong way and written a very different fic from what you wanted and realized it only 1700 words later. Apologies in advance.)
Ellegaard pauses as she glancesup, still partly hunched over her desk as she turns her neck to briefly look atthe flickering lamps.
She’s usually quite happy withhow the warm lighting matches the dim red light coming from her variousmachines and the several torches she usually has set up on her table just incase, but in this case, there’s a bit of a disconnect that’s more than a littlenoticeable.
It gets a chuckle out of her, ifonly because it’s always nice when Soren tries to lighten the mood when theyget as consumed by their projects as they can, but lightening the mood isn’tquite doing much for consistent room lighting, in this case. It’s wonderfulthat he’s still got his sense of humor after the problems he’s been having withown project, but she’s got no interest in cutting a finger off or stabbing herthumb again.
“Soren, these torches aren’tgoing to give me enough light to work on all of this and you know it.”Ellegaard sets the piece of machinery that she’d been fiddling with down, stillsmiling as she picks up the until now forgotten quill, almost mindlessly makingseveral changes to the blueprint buried beneath several scattered bits of metaland redstone parts.
(The piece itself is fine, butshe’s realizing now just how much she’ll need to adjust in the overallinvention to make sure it fulfills its full potential.)
And it… also gets a chuckle outof him, which isn’t quite what she expects, but it’s fair because he’s happyand that’s good. It’s at least not as confusing as what he follows it up with,or that he sounds far closer than he should be for someone who’s still messingwith the lights.
Huh.
“Oh, very funny, Ellegaard.Don’t act like you’re not pressing some sort of button,” Turning more, sherealizes that he’s still kneeling at a workbench, hunched over several blueprintsof his own and a good distance away from any of the light switches.“Really, I expected something a little more subtle out of you.”
“Wait…” Ellegaardstraightens up, the quill dangling from her fingers, nearly falling to thefloor before she remembers she’s holding it. “If I’m not flickering the lights, and you’re not flickering the lights, then who else is in the room withus?”
Soren pauses this time, frowningas he looks over his shoulder at her.
“You’re serious?”
“Do you see any buttons?” He’s on his feet the next second, staring at her desk before warily glancing to the light switch by the door.
It’s chilling, frightening, therealization that they’re the only two in the room and that neither of them areanywhere near the switches that control the lights, and there’s the (even morerational as it turns out) fear where she half expects her machines to startacting up even as their low hums stay as reliable as ever, because the onlytime anything in her lab acts up is usually when…
Ellegaard goes still as herfingers curl around the quill in her hand and she has to keep herself fromsnapping it.
When she has a griefer she has tokill.
“…I’m going to killhim.”
Soren doesn’t ask who, doesn’tneed to, shaking his head as he chuckles again, turning back to his blueprints.
“It was nice knowing himwhile he lasted.” Soren gives a small shrug as he picks one of the designsup, squinting at it before picking his own quill back up, leaning against thewall as the lights stabilize again, staying on. “Try not to get too muchblood on the floors, we just cleaned those.”
She’s not sure if the humor helpsor just fuels her anger.
“Oh, trust me, there won’tbe anything left to get on the floor when I’m through with him. It’s about timesomeone used his explosives for something actually useful.” Ellegaardhardly takes half a step before she stops herself, letting the quill drop backinto the inkwell as she looks back at Soren. “Soren, I thought we skippedthe kitchen.”
“We might’ve.” Heshrugs again, smiling as he nods at her. “Alright, well, take your businessthere and do what you will. The kitchen probably needs cleaning anyway.”
“The kitchen also has allthe knives.”
In theory, there’s nothing evilabout the chuckle. It’s quiet, small and short lived, and he might as well beclearing his throat, but there’s something about the way it feels that matchesthe grin he’s fighting off in the sense that it’s positively evil.
Ivor’s also failing at holdingboth of them back entirely, lips twitching upwards as he tucks the lever backinto his ingredient bag, the various vials inside hardly making any noise asthey shift.
He manages to fight the smile offjust in time as he enters the living room, hardly glancing at where Magnus andGabriel are, relaxing on the couch and under several blankets, as he walks overto them.
“Magnus, I would run if Iwere you.” The words, dry, just get a small groan out of Magnus as hestraightens up, still clinging to what looks like the fuzziest blanket.
“Why?”
“Ellegaard didn’t seem verypleased about your latest prank.”
Magnus, if possible, sits up evenstraighter at the implied incoming danger, brow furrowing as he frowns.
“Latest prank… but Ihaven’t pranked her in days! I’m still working on one for her.”
“You’d better be prepared toexplain that to her, then.” The door to Ellegaard’s lab, down the hall anda long flight of stairs, is opened and closed with the same ferocity of a polarbear tearing into the moron who dared looked at its cub wrong, and the clickingof Ellegaard’s shoes doesn’t soften the closer, and quicker, it gets.“Quickly.”
He’s not sure if he’s ever seenMagnus as afraid for his life as he is now, and Ivor’s seen Magnus jugglingdynamite from a tightrope and grinning like an idiot.
“Crap.”
Magnus, with all the reflexes ofsomeone more than used to this and someone who wants to at least live to thenext prank, if not tomorrow, leaps off the couch and bolts.
Which is wonderful for him, because Ellegaard is hot on his heels, darting past them as she roars somethingor other Ivor can’t quite make out and something he’s sure Magnus is too busyrunning from to listen to.
“And Gabriel, you know ifMagnus didn’t do it, Ellegaard will come after you next.”
Gabriel doesn’t shift from hisspot on the couch, gaze drifting back to Ivor as he raises an eyebrow, mouthtwisting into a sly smile as he pulls the blankets Magnus discarded closer.
“And when she realizes you’re the one who stole one of herlevers to mess with the lights?”
“What do you think I’ll bedoing? Sitting here, waiting to be killed? Please.” Ivor scoffs, rollinghis eyes as he sits down next to Gabriel and, despite it all, smiles as hisvoice softens. “What gave me away?”
“Magnus and I were thinkingabout doing it to you, but it looks like we’ll have to come up with somethingdifferent.” Gabriel stretches his arms over his head, pausing for a moment as arather distinct yelp comes from down the hall Magnus and Ellegaard disappearedinto, albeit also sounding as if up the stairs at the end of said hall.“You didn’t know we were planning that, did you?”
“No, but I didn’t need to toknow you two were up to something. It’s always nice to give you too a taste ofyour own medicine.” There’s a short pause as the curses and shouts fromupstairs devolves into a shouting match, Gabriel chuckling as he gets to hisfeet.
“You might want tohide.”
It’s not that surprising aresponse, given just who Gabriel is, but Ivor takes a moment to appreciate thesurprise that comes with not being held back by Gabriel and simply turned overto Ellegaard before she can do anything permanent to Magnus.
There’s no fun in doing that, though, and Ivor understands the reasoning. Gabriel knows as well as anybodyhow much more fun the game gets if they play fair, such as it is.
The shouting match dips back ontotheir floor again and down the hall before veering into another room.
“I could say the same foryou.” They both wince as the door to the kitchen slams shut, Magnus andEllegaard’s argument growing even more muffled even as both their voicesincreased in volume. “It would be too suspicious if we were all nowhere tobe found, though. I’ll slip away after she’s finished hunting Magnus down andgoes for you.”
“How generous.” Gabrielrolls his eyes as he starts to walk away, Ivor relaxing into the couch.
It’s fair, really, because nomatter who Ellegaard hunts down and brutally dismembers, Ivor will be the onestitching them back together and taking care of whatever damage can’t just befixed with a healing potion.
(And yes he’ll still do the sameif she ends up murdering him, because the last thing he wants to imagine isSoren trying to heal whatever’s left of him. He’s comfortable in the knowledgethat even if he dies, Soren trying will more than certainly be enough to gethim to rise out from the grave just so Ivor can kill him.)
Nothing makes him feel the wayalchemy does, but this?
Pitting his friends against eachother with a petty prank and the simplest form of confusion, knowing they’reall going to have fun with it and not even bothering to try and lie about it asthe chaos brews?
It’s an unfair amount of fun; hethinks he understands what Magnus sees in it.
There’s something to be said for lettingeveryone rest when they can, given what they’re training for, but Ivor knowsthem all better than that.
Just back from their own littletrip or not, he knows Magnus and Gabriel were already itching for some mayhem, and he knows neither of them mind being the first targets since it gives theman excuse to retaliate and go all out the way they like to.
He can’t imagine how impossiblybored they’d all be if they didn’t have each other.

Ivor and Harper, for the meme?
General:
Rate the Ship -  Awful | Ew | No pics pls | I’m not comfortable | Alright | I like it! | Got Pics? | Let’s do it! | Why is this not getting more attention?! | The OTP to rule all other OTPs
How quickly did/will they fall in love? - Ivor was interested in Harper from the start, while Harper fell in love in a little more time, probably around the point where they were trying to overthrow Hadrian and escape the games.
How was their first kiss? - Ivor internally freaked out during all of it and Harper though it was a pretty nice kiss.
Wedding:
Who proposed? - Ivor did, after weeks and weeks of encouraging from just about everybody that he talked to about it. Harper knew he was planning on it and spent little more than a week wondering when he was actually going to.
Who is the best man/men? - Depending on who’s been found and who’s still around, Gabriel, Magnus, and/or Soren.
Who is the bride’s maid(s)? - Similarly to the above, Ellegaard, Jesse, Petra, and/or Olivia.
Who did the most planning? - They both did about equal planning.
Who stressed the most? - Ivor is wonderful at consistently stressing out over things he shouldn’t or doesn’t have to stress about.
How fancy was the ceremony? - Back of a pickup truck | 2 | 3 | 4 | Normal Church Wedding | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Kate and William wish they were this big.
Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? - Pretty much everyone? It’s a fancy enough wedding, but thanks to Ivor’s reputation, it’s also a private one, with only the Orders, and whoever Harper chooses to personally invite, being allowed in.
Sex:
Who is on top? - They mix it up, but, more often than not, Harper.
Who is the one to instigate things? - They both do it about as often as the other does? Honestly, sometimes they try to instigate things just so they can get the other to stop working and take a break.
How healthy is their sex life? - Barely touch themselves let alone each other | 2 | 3 | 4 | Once a couple weeks, nothing overboard | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | They are humping each other on the couch right now
How kinky are they? - Straight missionary with the lights off | 2 | 3 | 4 | Might try some butt stuff and toys | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Don’t go into the sex dungeon without a horse’s head
How rough are they in bed? -
Softer than a butterfly on the back of a bunny | 2 | 3 | 4 | The bed’s shaking and squeaking every time | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | Their dirty talk is so vulgar it’d make Dwayne Johnson blush. Also, the wall’s so weak it could collapse the next time they do it.
How much cuddling/snuggling do they do? - No touching after sex | 2 | 3 | 4 | A little spooning at night, or on the couch, but not in public | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | They snuggle and kiss more often than a teen couple on their fifth date to a pillow factory.
Children:
How many children will they have naturally? - None.
How many children will they adopt? - Neither of them really want any children. The New Order tends to be more than enough as it is.
Who is the stricter parent? - Ivor bounces between being strict with the Order and being just as ridiculous, and Harper only gets strict if somebody’s really stepped over a line and needs to know that what they did was wrong.
Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)? - If anyone’s packing anybody lunches, it’s probably Ivor. He knows how well they can all forget to eat.
Who is the more loved parent? - Harper and Ivor are pretty much equally loved.
Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? - Ivor’s more than happy to assist with jail breaks whenever needed.
Cooking:
Who does the most cooking? - Ivor. Alchemy’s much closer to cooking than redstone is, and it’s usually hard for anyone to complain when he cooks.
Who is the most picky in their food choice? - Ivor spent years wandering, more focused on revenge than food, while Harper had extremely limited resources. Neither of them are picky.
Who does the grocery shopping? - Because of her lack of a history in the Order’s world, Harper can go to the market more easily than Ivor can.
How often do they bake desserts? - Fairly often. Sometimes desserts are the best pick me up after hours spent slaving over an experiment, and after going so long with no desserts, Ivor and Harper both appreciate them greatly.
Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? - Again, not picky. Both will do.
Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - Ivor’s big on romantic gestures, especially because he knows when Harper could use and appreciate a nice meal after hours of work.
Who is more likely to suggest going out? - Ivor might, if he thinks Harper doesn’t like being cooped up. Harper won’t suggest it because she doesn’t want to risk somebody attacking Ivor, verbally or physically.
Who is more likely to burn the house down accidentally while cooking? - Harper’s a decent cook, but sometimes she experiments in ways food was never meant to be experimented with.
Chores:
Who cleans the room? - They both try to keep their rooms as organized as they can.
Who is really against chores? - Similarly, neither of them really mind chores.
Who cleans up after the pets? - If they have pets to take care of, Ivor does, if only because they're probably his.
Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? - I depends on how tired they are. Whoever’s more exhausted is more likely to just sweep everything out of sight so they can take care of it later.
Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? - Neither of them, usually. Ivor isn’t much of a people person, but anyone visiting the Order tens to be somebody he already knows and can at least tolerate.
Who found a dollar between the couch cushions while cleaning? - Harper. She does almost every time she cleans. She’s secretly very smug about it.
Misc:
Who takes the longer showers/baths? - Harper spent years in a world with limited water while she was constantly being hunted down. She’s taking as long as she wants in the tub, thank you very much.
Who takes the dog out for a walk? - If either of them have a dog, Harper’s the one taking it for walks. She’ll probably do it sometimes just to tire the dog out and keep it from getting into any redstone.
How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - While the other Order members, namely Jesse, will probably decorate most of what they can, Harper will occasionally hang up a few small decorations herself and half the time, Ivor tries to go overboard with seeing how potions can affect decorations.
What are their goals for the relationship? - Given their reputations and their past mistakes? Essentially, don’t screw this up.
Who is most likely to sleep till noon? - Both of their sleep schedules normally suck, with it being common for both to go to bed way too late, so both of them.
Who plays the most pranks? - Harper might occasionally play one or two, if Ivor’s been really stressed and needs a reminder that it’s okay to relax.
