one drama i’ve been watching that i haven’t talked about much on here is maestra: strings of truth. i was curious because ms jewel in the palace herself, lee young-ae, is starring in it. it’s been really good so far.

it has everything: music genius milf who everyone is obsessed with who’s just trying to do her job, shady husband, his pregnant mistress, banger orchestra music, attempted murder, hot ex-boyfriend turned CEO who will do anything for FL, and much more

I really want to make a post with all the dramas I watched in 2023 but in the meantime

here's a brief list of all the dramas that came out in 2023 that I want to watch but have not yet even started and why I am interested in them:

Black Knight--haven't seen my boy Kim Woo Bin in anything since White Christmas but I still have love for him

Blossoms Shanghai (to be fair. this one came out today. so.)--Hu Ge Hu Ge Hu Ge

Joseon Attorney--For Woo Do Hwan

Laws of Attraction--for the leading couple from To Sir With Love

Maestra: Strings of Truth--Finally one I don't want to watch for the actors (I don't know them) but just bc the blurb sounds shady and fun

My Journey to You--Female assassin but also everyone seems to be obsessed with this

Pledge of Allegiance--hey, the other historical mystery bromance shows of the year came out great

The Deal--Fake kidnapping, could be fun

The Legend of Zhuohua--Jing Tian (yay!) but also Feng Shao Feng (boo, but also, still better than Xu Kai who was her other costar this year. hopefully.)

The Sign--the BL fans on here seem to think it's a winner

Castaway Diva--I hate most romcoms but I want to believe I could do it for Park Eun Bin
