Gotta Start Somewhere (Trektober 2022) - first thing I ever posted, Trektober prompts for J/C
Rotund - another early one, one shot where pregnant Kathryn messes with Tom and Harry in order to get their table in the mess hall
Kitchen Confidential - one shot where Kathryn is secretly an excellent cook
Aftermath - J/C one shot set immediately post Resolutions (ANGST/ comfort)
Postlude to a Kiss - Part of my 'How Chakotay Met Kathryn' series, set during and after the Vis a Vis body swap incident
5. Do you respond to comments?
I try! Often just a ❤️ or a 'Thank you'
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Honey, maybe?
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Send in the Clowns is not necessarily happier than any of my other endings, but because it's the end of a long and angsty series, I think the payoff is the best.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not really
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I will write flirting and a little foreplay, but ultimately, I love a good fade to black.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
So many. Mostly Voyager & TNG/Picard for Beverly/Kathryn fics
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Not that I know of
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
A short one with @magdalenejaneway from a flash fic prompt. It was fun. I'd do it again.
14. What’s your all time favorite ship?
I've never written for it, but I'm actually gonna say Adama/Roslin because I've shipped them the longest.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I have a few abandoned WIP one shots that I'll probably never return to... but I also have three multi-chapter WIPs that I still have very high hopes of finishing. I wrote a chapter on one today!
16. What are your writing strengths?
Finding character's voices
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I'm trying to get better at describing things (I have aphantasia and so picturing stuff is really hard but if I can find a good image to base things off of, it goes ok.)
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
Phrases here and there, but I don't know any other language well enough to write a real conversation.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
When I was in elementary school, I hand wrote a Muppet Babies and Tiny Toons fic. I did not know what fanfic was at the time and I do not remember anything else about it. I only realized it was technically fanfic many many years later when I started intentionally writing fic (for Voyager, which is probably my actual first fandom)
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
All Things Bright and Beautiful. Beverly/ Kathryn set after Picard S3. Writing it was super easy and it still makes me smile to go back and read it.

Tell People About Your WIPs
Thank you @miabicicletta for tagging me in this! I guess I can discuss some of my WIPs....
In Progress and Currently Posting Updates:
For The Love of Cosmetics series: Frak Me Red: A character study on how cosmetics work at the end of the world...And the smut that happens because of it. Frak Me Red specifically covers a new lipstick Laura is given and a weekend away she is swept away on by Bill.
Not Posted Yet But Being Actively Written:
Symposium of the Stars: A Soulmate BSG Canon Remix. Er...This has been a huge project I've been working on for months and this story currently has over 65k words to it and is just a quarter done. I expect to finally have enough of the plot figured out and outlined out by next month to finally start posting.
Death Becomes Her: Trigger Warnings: Suicide Attempts... A TFOTHU fic where Madeline Usher has faced death over and over, sometimes intentionally... This fic is exceptionally hard for me to write so it is really slow to be written.
WIPs that I Need To Get Back To One Day:
Welcome to Hotel Azure: A Mass Effect fic where Shepard and Garrus get stuck in a love hotel. Abandoned it when I reached the smut part, because Turian smut is apparently the only smut that intimidates me.
Break All The Rules for You: A list of Rules that Sharon Raydor follows and what she would break for love. This is super short currently, I just haven't had time to work on it much-and I'm really bad at switching back and forth between fandoms for writing. Eventually I'll finish It.
Love Games: OKAY. This has literally been abandoned for 10 years since the old LJ days lol. Its a story of Pranks and Games that Brenda and Sharon pulled on each other, in an attempt to sort of sublimate their sexual tension. The few chapters that exist are on AO3, but don't read it, its pretty bad lol. I mostly intend to rewrite it one day now that my writing skills have vastly improved.

1. Are you named after anyone?
No, my parents sorta kept picking names until they found one they didn’t associate with someone they didn’t like 😂
2. When was the last time you cried?
Thursday
3. Do you have kids?
No, and I don’t think I’ll have any. I love kids, but I’d rather nurture the ones who are already here than have any of my own.
4. What sports do you play/have played?
Basketball and soccer and I was not great at both
5. Do you use sarcasm?
All the time
6. What’s the first thing you notice about people?
Facial expressions
7. What’s your eye color?
Green
8. Scary movies or happy endings?
Both. I can’t make decisions.
9. Any talents?
I’m a decent writer and I’m a champion worrier.

11. What are your hobbies?
Writing, reading, yelling about my fav movies and tv shows, rollerskating

We lost Waffles a few months ago, and I miss him every day.

@madamairlock tagged me in this and I just saw it using my laptop. Quite excited to answer
1. How many works do you have on AO3?: 42 :)
2. What's your total AO3 word count?: 80,429 Pfiouf !
3. What fandoms do you write for? Mostly BSG and Major Crimes, but I loved For All Times and Dances with wolves and I have tons of ideas for both shows but will never find the time to write it down.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Ignoring my Tumblr Drabbles collection, they are:
Getting Caught
A Canadian Vacation
Intimacy
Safe From Harm : amused that you would my "deviant" ideas likeable
The Long Day is over (very surprised about that since this one is written in French)
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? I try to, usually. I just saw that I have a few comments waiting to be answered in AO3 since i don't always get a notification by email.
6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? Not a big fan of Agnst but maybe this one, where Laura finds out her ex-husband is on New Caprica : Pity the fool that fell in love with you
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? Most of if not all of them tend to have a happy ending or at least a neutral one. And I might add when it comes to smut, Sharon and Laura always get happy endings!!
8. Do you get hate on fics? I've received a few weird message on ff.net and tend to get away from that plateform because of that. In the past, when i was a teen, I got hateful comments on fics i wrote about ER and Dr House and ended up delating my account for a few years.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I love smut, love to write it. I'm into things that can happen in everyday life, usually I'm for tenderness and closeness.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written? Never, yet but I have this big ideas for Raised with a Fist to meet with Laura from For all Times. Maybe one day i'll wrote it
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? Not sure. A few years ago, I received a weird email from ff.net stating that someone copied/pasted 2 of my fics then that a new publication was very similar to mine and asked me if a wanted to file a "complain". I did and never heard about it ever again.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? Nope!
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? When I was young and in another fandom yes. Feels like a life time ago. Would love to do it again.
14. What's your all-time favourite ship? Just one?! the SpaceParents. I love the build up of their relationship on a solid friendship, I love their chemistry on screen something I feel Shandy is missing but I prefer Sharon Raydor caracter to Laura's.
15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? I really really want to finish A Canadian Vacation and can't wait for the weather to bring tons of snow to inspire me ahah. Intimacy : i really doubt i will finish it. I'm way more inspired for MC nowadays ...
16. What are your writing strengths? I think I try to stay close the characters and i try to make you feel what they feel.
17. What are your writing weaknesses? Writing in English though now i comes more naturally than writing in French and because of that : grammar and vocabulary. I'm also quite dyslexic so even if i proofread it 3-4 times i don't usually see that a word is missing or things like that
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? Been there, done that. Would probably repeat it lol
19. First fandom you wrote for? ER I loved Elizabeth Corday !
20. Favourite fic you've ever written? I have a very soft spot for Intimacy and Getting Caught because they're so fun to write. And I love my one in Canada because I want fluffyness and love. On the smut ones, I really enjoyed writing Safe from harm, felt very liberating.

3. What fandoms do you write for? Star Trek Voyager primarily. I tend to be a one fandom girl.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?Unexpected (375)

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? Not always. It’s a habit I really need to get back into.
6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
That’s No Way To Say Goodbye. It was written for the first Merry Month of Cohen Angst fest, and well… I killed Chakotay. 😬 But the story is really good though.
I think Repercussions comes in second because I basically left it with Kathryn not only moving out and separating from Chakotay, she was also having a recurrence of the nightmares from her torture by the Kazon.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I’ve written many a happy ending. I’m not sure what would qualify as “the happiest”.
Unexpected has a nice happy ending with the birth of baby Tuya.
Feeling Good with Kathryn and Chakotay retiring 25 years after Voyager’s return and becoming live in caretakers of Voyager as a museum. and 25 Years Earlier , the story of how Kathryn and Chakotay ended up married. Hint, there was copious amounts of booze involved.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
I’ve not gotten outright hate on my fics. Just a comment about timing or how a character was treated, but they were never outright awful comments.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Not often. But when I do it’s more sensually described as opposed to explicitly shown. Certain euphemisms make me cringe and I’m not fond of blatant smut.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
I’ve written crossovers throughout the Trek universe. I’ve got a couple off the wall ideas pondering. One being a Voyager/Gunsmoke crossover. That one is partially written. I keep going back to it and adding a few things here and there. Someday it will get finished. Lately I’ve been pondering a Voyager/Emergency! Crossover. Still working out the logistics of that one.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I’m aware of. I’ve had ideas or concepts stolen though, but I’ve never said anything because it will be denied and at this point it’s not worth the bother.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
I have not. No one has asked and I’d feel more comfortable with someone I know and trust doing the translation.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
I’ve co written a few in my days. A few Lois & Clark stories with a friend of mine. A couple Voyager round robins.
14. What's your all-time favourite ship?
Janeway/Chakotay. But I also ship Janeway/Chakotay/Ayala as an established throuple. I also ship Picard/Crusher, but haven’t written anything other than crossover.
15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
Lord, I have so many. I hope to finish them all. 🤞🤞
16. What are your writing strengths?
Banter and dialogue. I’m also pretty good at creating realistic original characters/kids. I think I can also do really emotional free-writing styled one shots. I’m good at titles too. They tend to be my outline.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Description. I’m so bad at it. I often don’t have the words. But I am trying to improve and do better. I’m also bad at planning things out. I can’t outline to save a life. I don’t like how an outline makes me feel boxed in. I must write linearly as well. If I skip around the brain is like, ok, it’s done. And I’ll never actually connect the dots.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
If I’m comfortable with it and have done enough research to know it’s proper, I’ll write it.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Lois & Clark The Adventures of Superman.
20. Favourite fic you've ever written?
That would probably be The Times They Are A Changin’. I’m super proud of how that story came out and I’m thrilled that people loved the outspoken and fiery adult daughter I gave Kathryn and Chakotay. Tananka was every bit her parents’ child.
Another absolute favorite is Solace. Because I was able put in words just exactly how I see Kathryn and Chakotay’s relationship and the depth of it.
