still absolutely REELING from that post-band concert hangout last night in which all of a sudden I found that everyone was staring at me & my best friend and one guy goes, “Macyn, are you a lesbian? Everyone’s been kind of wondering.”

I— ?????? So y’all were fucking DISCUSSING it???? Also I don’t even know myself so like YOU tell ME, bucko.

I don’t even know what to do. I was shook to the core so my two girl besties & I made a big deal out of convening together like a jury & came back (after they had started DRUMROLLING???) with “the jury is… undecided.”

like I want to tell them my real thoughts and feelings about just genuinely not knowing and maybe not having any gender preference but also not really ever wanting to date anyone yet and also just maybe my weird perception of gender in the first place but I didn’t want to make it weird and complicated and maybe I still have some unresolved trauma because I’m scared of rejection and I still remember how my mom acted when I tried to come out to her in the 8th grade

I can’t I don’t know what to do this is weird where the fuck did that come from

I mean I could kind of tell that they thought I was as a lesbian but like have the decency to whisper about it to yourselves and make your own theories and place a proper bet goddamn

ALSO one of my best friends (a guy) was apparently included in the group of people who wanted to know if I was a lesbian… DUDE???? My main homie????? What the FUCK dude I literally TOLD you. You don’t remember anything ever do you?????

None of these characters are safe from my snakeification beam. I mean, if Felix is a Cardassian, I’m simply by required by law to make Siris one too. I don’t make the rules (I do). 

Here’s the extra info about this mysterious backstory man:

- I don’t remember if it was explicitly stated in the show, but I think it’s at least implied that Siris was in the military/same squad as Locus and Felix were, as he was working with them as mercs after the Great War. I also assume that’s where he lost his leg. I remember something, either in the wiki or in a novel, that Cardassian Union treatment of injured people was pretty terrible, so Siris was probably off-homeworld when he was able to get his prosthetic. 

- In RVB it’s implied that Siris either died or went missing somehow, which is why he’s not in the mainline story, but because this is my fanfiction I’m allowed to do whatever the hell I want. The canon I’ve created says that he was left behind in some key survival moment by Locus and Felix, but he survived and went somewhat off-grid. And also his wife is okay because I can’t stand killing off Megan. If this AU were an actual show, Siris happening across the ship while Locus is on it would be the plot of an episode, where you get to learn more about Locus’s backstory. 

- I really don’t have much to say about Siris! I changed his first name Mason to a more Cardassian spelling of Macyn, but I left his last name because some Cardassians have human-sounding last names, like Natima Lang.
