O renovado Mercedes-Benz GLS já está disponível na Sociedade Comercial C. Santos. Um dos modelos mais imponentes da marca alemã chega ao showroom da empresa na Maia, junto ao Aeroporto do Porto, com guarda de honra especial: toda a gama SUV 4MATIC Mercedes-Benz, em exposição até sábado (dia 11).

O novo Mercedes-Benz GLS combina uma presença marcante com elegância pura. O facelift do Mercedes‑Benz GLS e do Mercedes‑Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC traz alterações de design, tais como nova grelha do radiador, novo para-choques, renovados farolins traseiros com três focos de luz em LED horizontais, assim como novas jantes.

Tal como anteriormente, o Mercedes‑Benz GLS tem de série sete lugares, mas a gama de acabamentos foi atualizada. A nova geração do sistema de informação e de entretenimento MBUX apresenta novos estilos de exibição e melhora o modo Off-Road.

A aparência pode ser personalizada com um total de três estilos de exibição (clássico, desportivo e discreto) e os modos navegação, assistência e serviço. Com o estilo “clássico” o condutor opta pelo design de dois instrumentos redondos de grandes dimensões com todos os conteúdos já conhecidos a serem apresentados entre os dois instrumentos. O estilo “desportivo” é dominado pela cor vermelha, com um conta-rotações central com design dinâmico. No estilo “discreto”, os conteúdos são reduzidos ao essencial. Além disso, ambos os ecrãs podem ser apresentados em sete esquemas de cores em combinação com a iluminação ambiente. O ecrã central oferece todas as funções anteriores e pode ser operado direta e comodamente como um ecrã tátil.

O modo Off-Road do MBUX transforma conteúdos especiais como o gradiente, ângulo lateral, bússola e ângulo de direção numa experiência visual. Em combinação com o opcional Pack Parking com câmara de 360°, este modo inclui a função “capot transparente”. Quando o modo Off-Road está ativo, o ecrã central mostra uma vista virtual da zona abaixo da dianteira do veículo. A vista é constituída por imagens da câmara de 360°. Com a função “capot transparente”, obstáculos como pedras ou poças de grandes dimensões no caminho do veículo podem ser detetadas mais facilmente.

A maioria dos condutores de um GLS apenas conduz em estrada pavimentada ou em terrenos fora de estrada moderadamente difíceis. A Mercedes-Benz recompilou, por isso, o pack Off-Road Engineering. Os componentes do pack incluem uma proteção inferior da carroçaria e mais 30 mm de distância ao solo.

O sistema de tração integral e uma relação de transmissão concebida para uma maior capacidade de tração permitem uma elevada capacidade de reboque de até 3,5 toneladas e um peso vertical no gancho de reboque de até 140 kg. O gancho de reboque inclui dois parafusos adicionais, no qual pode ser instalado um suporte para bicicletas apropriado. A sua capacidade de carga é de 100 kg, o que significa que também podem ser transportadas bicicletas elétricas.

Motorizações eletrificadas diesel e gasolina

O renovado Mercedes-Benz GLS mantém o leque de motorizações, tendo todas as versões tração integrar 4MATIC. A escolha, no mercado português, recai em motorizações diesel e gasolina, todas com um sistema de eletrificação que oferece potências adicionais de 20 cv (diesel) ou 22 cv (gasolina).

O diesel GLS 450 d 4MATIC recorre à motorização OM 656 M com 3 litros de cilindrada e 367 cv (a que se juntam 20 cv do sistema eletrificado) de potência. As variantes a gasolina equipam o motor M177 4.0 biturbo V8. A diferença está na potência. O GLS 580 4MATIC debita 517 cv (+22 cv), o Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC 557 cv (+22 cv) e o Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 4MATIC+ 612 cv (+22 cv).

Quanto a preços, o GLS 450 d 4MATIC começa nos 151 400 euros e o GLS 580 4MATIC nos 212 600 euros. O Mercedes-AMG GLS 63 4MATIC+ é proposta por 257 750 euros e o Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4MATIC por 264 250 euros.

Gama 4x4 “invade” showroom

O GLS está na terceira geração (a primeira foi lançada em 2006, a segunda em 2013 e a atual em 2019) e o lançamento do facelift daquele que é o maior dos SUV da Mercedes-Benz não poderia ter melhor guarda de honra na Sociedade Comercial C. Santos. É que toda a gama SUV 4MATIC Mercedes-Benz está em exposição no showroom da Maia até ao próximo sábado (dia 11).

O espaço do representante Mercedes-Benz junto ao aeroporto tem expostas um total de 12 versões de oito modelos SUV ou todo-o-terreno com tração 4x4. O destaque é, naturalmente, uma unidade GLS 450 d, mas os visitantes podem observar de perto os modelos elétricos EQB, EQE SUV e EQS SUV e os modelos a combustão GLC (versões SUV e Coupé, da atual e anterior geração), GLE (SUV e Coupé).
