10年前の曲だが、今聴いてもドキドキしてしまうラブソングだ。

ラブソングと言ってもこの曲の場合、「君が好き〜」と言う感情だけで最後までやり切ってしまう可愛らしい恋の歌ではない。アレンジのせいもあるかもしれぬ…この恨み節の様に感情が昂って行く過程がたまらん。

男と女だと男の方が後を引きずるとか… 誰かが統計を取ったわけではないので、単に一般的に広まっている噂みたいなものだが、今まで見て来た感じだと女性の方が切り替えが早いかも。

とにかく聴いていて「こりゃ大変だ」とついつい呟いてしまうほどの男の引きずりよう。こんなこと言われたら相手の女性は怒るだろう、普通。

しかしこの恨み節が、最近SNSで流れまくっているからびっくり。それもコンサート会場らで観客が合唱しているヴァージョンなのだから笑う。

しかもエモい感じの使われよう。

昂る感情に便乗してジャンプか？

10th place scrub scrub this song is just meh 9th place sorry noodle it's too short 8th place scrub scrub reprise i just don't like how it sounds 7th place for a moment it's alright and all but it's just not my cup of tea also notice how both noodle and willy are singing complete different things 6th place you never had chocolate like this hover chocs it's alright but the song is short 5th place you never had chocolate like this reprise it's a much better version cuz more people are singing it and it's longer 4th place oompa loompa it's basically the same song from the 1971 film but with different lyrcs and a different meaning because it is a prequel to gene wilder 3rd place is a world of our own it's very catchy I love this song I can't stop listening to it 2nd place a hatful of dreams this is very first song and it's quite catchy this basically and I want song because this song introduces us the main character 1st place is pure imagination this is best song throughout the entire movie it's one it was left for last because we always save the best for last. also because it shows willy building his factory

really glad u like the burning hell!! sometimes, when i think abt it, i feel like some of their lyrcs have very "dave" vibes to them... i know wallflowers to me feels like a davetype love song i think, esp with how like a third of the lyrics is dedicated to one long silly metaphor at the end lololol

aw yeah i totelly get wat u mean. i rlly like the kinda tangential lyrics on that one hahah it made me crack up. theyre a rlly great band, ive been listening 2 them more on evening walks n stuff. sat on the swing 4 like an hour the other day. vry beautiful

girls on film (air studios demo) by duran duran

by far the superior version of girls on film that duran duran ever recorded! in the more polisher version, there is a seedy and sinister undertone that gets put on full blast in this version which makes it so much better! it’s almost like what depeche mode would have done if they recorded this song [oh can you imagine??]

i got into this song via never mind the buzzcocks and saw they were making a documentary about this so it’s came under my radar once again!! i don’t even know how i would begin to describe it - there are certain some glam rock element in it but there is something to it which makes it so enchanting! it reminds me of kate bush in some aspect. 

papa gene’s blues by the monkees 

ever since i was like eleven, this song has always been a favourite for me however now it has taken on a whole new meaning to me that i just can’t explain. the monkees are very much a guilty pleasure of mine however i can’t help but find this song to be incredibly cute and sweet and lovely. mike’s vocals and guitar work are very well done here and my heart soars with so much love whenever i hear it!! it reminds me so many people that i just can’t even!

DON’T MIND ME WHILE I CRY!!! this song just makes me feel so emotional for absolutely no reason but i just love it so much!! it so ethereal and pretty and everything about it is perfect!! ian’s vocals are incredibly wonderful and soft yet meaning and powerful! i adore his lyrcs in it as well, there’s something romantic and sweet yet sensual if you wanna read it like that. the drums and bass are just so cool and different and really just take this song to another level!! and my darling ray of pure sunlight john squire’s guitar work... i mean where do you want me to begin?? i mean he practically invented music with just the first thirty-second of this song and i wish to thank him for it!! i don’t know why it’s so incredible!!  

@handsomeronnie I’m sorry I wasn’t feeling quite reflective or productive after working each time this whole week, tbh, and can’t get my head and hands to writing off stuff normally but I’ll do that for sure, also will emotionally gather up about this but...

At the same time I can’t sleep and started listening to a bit of Total Life Forever and stopped on repeating “2 Trees”... Just don’t know with whom else I can discuss this but have you ever had any clear ideas about both song title and the meaning behind lyrcs or was it ever spoken about by Yannis?

I have now after restless hours sudden feelings that it’s like... a narrative from a passed away person or a person who experienced a nearly lethal experience (“Open your veins in wet summer rain, go”) who couldn’t deal with emotions or pressure or depression and regretting doing this with thinking it’d be better to help others and maintain the strength for others? Because there’s like several ways of giving away the blood: the wasting taking life one and useful giving life to others? Like, you know, that’s why the title because of the 2 trees of Eden: the narrator both went through evil and good (gained some knowledge/wisdom but as an aftermath “Don't give up, don't let go. Grey clouds, they'll, they'll break up. Just breathe slow” because all bad stuff that’s happening to a person will be over, it’s just worth waiting and living).

My thoughts on Jack’s audio log.

So, it seems that Thomas was involved deeper in Joey's schemes than we previously thought. However, this audio log was made only 5 days after Thomas', so the ink machine has only started getting built. No ink creatures, no rituals. Whatever Thomas was discussing with Joey had nothing to do with transforming employees into ink creatures. Yet, it was something shady, that they didn't want anyone to find out about.

To figure this out, we need to remember that this audio log was made 5 days after Thomas'. Thomas says that he hates working for Joey, but he still has to do it, because Joey is "playing his cards". There's only one card Joey could play against Thomas - Allison.

Jack says he received an award for a song with lyrcs. The only character who could have sung them was Alice Angel, so the song was probably Lonely Angel. It was sung by Allison, so she was already the voice of Alice by the time of this recording.

Here's a theory - Joey offered the role to Allison as part of his deal with Thomas. A way to keep Thomas working for him for as long as Allison was there. Should Thomas refuse to help him, Joey could simply dangle the threat of firing Allison, or revealing Thomas' role in her success, which would undoubtedly create a wedge between them.

Another thing of note: Jack says the smell is beginning to get to him, so this audio log was made after Jack's in-game audio log, where he isn't bothered by the smell yet.

Finally: those papers Jack saw Joey and Thomas holding may have been the ink machine design plans. The ones with Wally's name on them. It always seemed so strange that Wally, a janitor with no knowledge of engineering, was the true creator of the ink machine, despite Thomas having built it. However, as Jack points out - just because a piece of paper has someone's name on it, it doesn't mean that person had a hand in it. Thomas wanted his role in the ink machine's creation to be shamefully hidden, and Joey offered to blame it all on Wally.
