I just saw the pictures of your new WIP and am absolutely in awe. It looks just gorgeous! I have built a few own little worlds some years ago (nothing as large and beautiful as you've done), so I know CAW and how hard it is and how much patience and detailled work it must take you to create something so beautiful. Thank you for your hard work and for sharing these pictures with us

Thank you! Yeah CAW is pretty confusing sometimes, but I’m used to it now. Glad you like the world and I can’t wait to show you more :D

When Sims 3 runs super slow...

Sims 3 running super slow for you? It takes ages for menus to load and sims to change outfits? There are a lot of useful tips and tutorials out there that can help like e.g. http://measmusings.blogspot.de/2013/05/three-different-ways-you-can-make-your.html You also have to make sure that you don’t have accidentally added any Sims2 files to your mods folder. However, I personally have not seen yet a tutorial which included the final step that did the trick for me. My game now loads much quicker and that also goes for build/buy mode and cas. Thanks to this I am now motivated to work with the game again =) So basically what happened is that after installing some CC my game refused to start -_- So I’ve done some testing I noticed that after removing my installed sims3 files (DC folder - I now one shouldn’t delete it normaly, but I had a backup of everything and it was troubleshooting after all) it loaded much quicker. So I placed the DC folder back and uninstalled all sims3 packs, put the backup in my downloads folder and reinstalled all of them from scratch in one go - et voila! It’s like magic - all issues I previously had are gone. Apparently over the time the DC files get corrupted. I have sorted out CC and even reinstalled my game over the past years but I don’t remember when I last reinstalled all sims 3 packs in one strike. I always just backed up my folders and put them back, including the DC folder. If this worked for me, maybe it will also work for some of you guys. Just remember to backup everything before you try ;)
