Arrived wayyy to early at the shooting range, so I spent the time looking at the area - and it did not disappoint! I am still shocked that the shooting range has more biodiversity in such a small area than most “national parks” in this country.
The quotation marks means that there are no national parks in this country... we have signs that says we do, but there is no difference between the so-called national parks and everywhere else: there is just as many factories, farmlands and villages in it as out of it.

Some bug IDs I did for a friend recently. If you have any other suggestions, let me know because I'm still new at this! (All found in southwest Arkansas.)
Widow Skimmer (Libellula luctuosa)
Blue Dasher (Pachydiplax longipennis)
Midland clubtail (Gomphurus fraternus)
Note: Unsure about ID on the first one, I'm confident of the second one though
American house spider (Parasteatoda tepidariorum)
Note: Again, not confident on this one, but it seemed like the best match.
Zebra swallowtail (Eurytides marcellus)
Some sort of harvestman (Opiliones)
Small American copper (Lycaena phlaeas)
Note: Someone else says it's a question mark butterfly (Polygonia interrogationis) and I am forced to concede their victory 😭
Hackberry emperor (Asterocampa celtis)
Cottonwood borer (Plectrodera scalator)

吾亦紅[Waremokō]
Sanguisorba officinalis L.
吾[Ware] : I
亦[Mo(-mata)|Mata] : Also, and
紅[Kō] : Crimson, deep red
There are some theories as to the origin of the name, one of which is "I am also crimson."
紅小灰蝶[Benishijimi]
Lycaena phlaeas
紅[Beni] : Crimson, deep red
小灰蝶[Shijimi|Shijimichō] : Small copper
Shijimi means freshwater clam. This butterfly was so named because the wing patterns look like the inner surface of it. Reading 小灰 as Shijimi is an Ateji. In this case, kanji used for the meaning, irrespective of reading. 蝶[Chō] means butterfly.
紅 reads Kō, Beni and Kurenai. The meaning is the same. Lipstick is called 口紅(Kuchibeni). 口 means mouth. Studio Ghibli Anime "Porco Rosso" is titled "紅の豚[Kurenai no buta](The Crimson Pig)" in Japanese.
