There was so much silliness during the TMP launch stream and it was a delight. Such fun moments include: Alex is That Person, Martyn has reliable internet, Lowri only knows spoilers, differences in writing, orchestra insight, bad at dates, godspeed to the wikis, infrastructure stuff, ghost wrangling, what if sugar was a flavor?, Lowri is on a plane right now, frozen ham snacks, I'm Baby, ultraviolet, a beautiful toaster, Martyn is that funny, watery boy, Jonny is Extremely wrong, Illuminati chat, sparkling audio, Alex has never backpedaled faster, the wiggler, Shahan got lost in the digging, a remarkably intimate conversation, and drink sufficient water (screenshot included).

Are we going to talk about the fact that Celia's voice actor - Lowri Ann Davies - also voiced a member of Melanie and Georgie's apocalypse cult...also named Celia

don't think i haven't forgotten Lowri plays a character called Celia: the exact name her character in tma called herself (the same character who thought she would be paid to give statements) after she lost her old one in the apocalypse

Listen, I just have so much love for Lowri Ann Davies. I think I first saw/heard her during RQGG, and she just seemed so sweet and fun! And I wanted to know more about her. And every single one-shot she's been in has been such a delight to listen to. And now she's in Chapter and Multiverse, and I just love her so much. She's such a genuinely lovely person and deserves all the good things. Also, I love that Helen had a whole episode of Enthusigasm just so she could be like: Listen. I've been sitting in the background and I have Thoughts. It was so much fun. She has officially cemented herself as The Best Rusty Quiller.

Lowri Ann Davies appears to be reprising her role as one of Georgie and Melanie's accidental cultists??? which is wild?? but like with front page billing???

So they released characters and voice cast for The Magnus Protocol and everyone’s talking about the staticky names and the new Bouchard but NO ONE’S TALKING ABOUT HOW CELIA’S RETURNING. WHY ARE THEY OF ALL PEOPLE RETURNING. WHAT IS HAPPENING.

WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT THE FACT THAT CELIA IS THE SAME CELIA FROM TMA??

THE CELIA THAT THOUGHT MELANIE AND GEORGIE COULD SAVE THE WORLD?!

THE SAME CELIA WHO USED TO BE LYNNE HAMMOND AND CONTACTED THE INSTITUTE?

so apparently celia was also in the magnus archives and also voiced by lowri ann davies??? EXCEPT. she was known as Lynne Hammond before the eyepocalypse, where SHE LOST HER NAME. she named herself celia, but we know that that was not her original name. idk what this means yet and frankly i am not good at coming up with theories at all but it must mean Something.

New hire in the OIAR! I recognized the name Celia from TMA, in Georgie and Melanie’s cult… and they’re both played by Lowri Ann Davies. I’m sure that’s just a coincidence…

Why is no one talking about the fact that the new character is named Celia Ripley. And voiced by Lowri Ann Davies. Just like Celia from the cult in TMA S5. Why is no one talking about that

quick thoughts on the magnus protocol cast announcement (details here):

-lowri ann davies plays a character called celia ripley. in the magnus archives, lowri played lynne hammond (the woman from mag 100 who had an encounter with a burning ghost), who later returned as "celia", after she lost her identity in an apocalypse domain and took that name instead. i'm assuming celia ripley is lynne hammond's alternate universe counterpart?

-anusia battersby plays gwendolyn bouchard. i don't think i need to spell out the relevance of that surname.

-jonathan sims and alexander j. newall play [redacted]. makes sense not to reveal their characters here, since that would probably be going into spoiler territory. they could of course be playing completely unrelated characters, but i think that would be more confusing than anything else, so my money is on either og jon and martin from tma having landed in the protocol universe after mag 200, or the parallel universe versions of them.

-tim fearon is also playing a [redacted] character. this is interesting to me, because, to my knowledge, he hasn't voice acted in tma. does this mean he'll be playing a character from the tma universe whose voice we haven't heard before? the kickstarter update did say that some familiar characters would be returning.

I’m at work and it’s 3:51 am so now it’s time to put effort into explaining my Magnus Protocol theory (I literally don’t care if anyone sees I just need receipts for a year from now when I am correct)

1. In the Kickstarter Launch Party stream from 1 month ago around the 39:40 mark Lowri Ann Davies is introduced and Jonny says “…also are we allowed to say??” And Alex tells him NO to which I automatically assumed Lowri would be playing one of our protagonists

2. In MAG190 Lowri voices Celia, one of the members of Georgie and Melanie’s cult, and she has this conversation with Martin:

3. Jonny and Alex confirmed our two protagonists are Alice and Sam. Alice is an anagram of Celia

4. It has been heavily implied that the Magnus protocol will be taking place in one of the canon confirmed alternate universes

THEREFORE I think Lowri is playing Alice and I also think that Alice is in some way an alternate timeline version of Celia or the actual Celia

BUT I also work a lot and don’t keep up with the news so please update me if I’ve missed anything lolol
