My niece watched one of my Witchy Talk videos last night and told me that she thinks I should keep doing them to help people. Her little face just makes me melt. I would do anything for her and I guess stepping out of my comfort zone in some ways is what I need to grow! I will ask my spirits to help me find a happy medium in the way I share with others but still keeping myself private. I want to help people the way others have helped me. Like Mama, I have a flair for natural theatrics. When I show my work here, I want people to not only be entertained, but to feel and experience the energies with me. . I want my work to come across as performance art, a show, and most importantly an experience! My mama told me not to fear others and most importantly myself! In Louisiana that is gonna happen especially if you have lived here a long time. My grandmother used to own this old mansion that was gifted to her by her bf at the time and it was very haunted. One night it was thundering and raining hard. My sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins who are all close in age with me ran to my grandmothers room and I was left alone still asleep. I know I wasn’t dreaming because even as a kid I understood what spirits were. I saw a thick white cloud of smoke surround me and I could hear voices. I screamed as loud as I could and one of my uncles came back to get me. I could go on and on about spirits and my lifelong connection with them. But most will be saved for my book I’m currently writing loosely about my life. I know what fear feels like and I will say don’t let it take you over. For this upcoming retrograde I will be absent from social media because Mama wants me to take some time away to focus on what she wants me to learn. I never knock anyone’s craft. There are things that I’ve learned online, by books, by other people, family members and the community here in Louisiana where I grew up. I have been taught things by powerful Louisiana witches as well. Don’t be ashamed of how you learn your craft. I now write my own spells and use things I feel will be beneficial to my spell. Since I was a kid I’ve heard my mom, aunts and grandma tell me things that people here would use in their spell work. But I will admit that since I’ve become more serious about my path this year I’ve learn a lot of things I didn’t even know last year. I work hard and I take my time. I stay up all night until the next day to make sure I do everything the way I feel is right. I don’t play with people’s money. But I am a glamorous witch and people often times get so caught up in the glamorous side of me that they forget that I’m a real witch! I get it, no one takes beauty seriously lol. My mom and aunts are into decor so that is where my side of creativity comes from. Don’t get it twisted though, some of my spells aren’t so glamorous as I use vile things and say vile words. Not all my work is posted and not everything that goes into my work is posted either.
