Lie To Me

It’s a rather inconvenience, to be lied to. Not only is it an act of betrayal, but it is also one most demeaning to oneself. I have been known to lie, in my past. Big lies, little lies, lies to hurt and lies to save. But regardless of the lie, it is still one most unfathomable. Now, everyone lies, it’s just something that happens from time to time. Over exaggeration, in itself, is a lie. But I am not here to talk about lies, no. I am here to talk about the exact opposite. Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror, I mean really looked? Tell me, what do you see when you look at yourself? If the answer is, “Me. Of course.” Well then you will definitely understand where I am going with this. A lie is a lie and can never be taken away, but same goes for the truth. And the purest truth you can ever tell is while looking at yourself in the mirror and simply stating, “This is me.” The reason I bring this to ones attention is because we all focus so harshly on the lies set before us. But do we ever take the chance to look at the biggest and purest truth in our lives? I have, tonight. I guess where I am going with this is that a lie is a lie and something we cannot change.
