hi yeah i'm still on about girl dad bakugou but i really love the image of him absolutely refusing to speak about her to the public.
obviously, they would know that you, as his partner, were pregnant and maybe some little stories or photos were leaked from your instagram or something, so the media knows he's having a baby, and then they know when she's born. and i can imagine someone managing to get a microphone in front of his face not long after like,
"i just wanted to congratulate you on the birth of your baby girl!"
and he doesn't say ANYTHING LOL doesn't say thanks, doesn't confirm, doesn't acknowledge it whatsoever. just stares at them, waiting for them to continue with whatever the hell they're gonna ask ajdhkfbeiakq

hey I just wanted to say that b&g is one of my favorite pieces of undertale art in general. I'm muslim and the way you depict toriel reminds me of my own mother and other older muslim women that I meet a lot. It's very comforting. I don't see a lot of depictions of middleaged muslim women with dignity and respect that often. Of course, I love everything about your au and how you write all the characters, but toriel specifically really hits home for me
aww im really happy to hear that anon thank you :,,---( i remember Toriel originally wasnt supposed to be that big in my B&G world but with other characters getting their own time to shine (Kris and Susie about being teenagers trying to handle their struggles on their own, Undyne in being in her 20s but stuck in the past, etc) Toriel started developing in my mind, and her story is sort of an amalgam of all sorts of mothers and women ive met through babysitting and my own mother (though my mom isnt muslim as im a convert, so its all in just personality) so hearing someone else sees a little of their own mother in her warms me heart :,---] ty again
#i really wanted to tell a story with toriel of how often mothers feel like they have to give away their life for their children#not in that their children are burdens but in how isolating it can become to be a mother especially in the boomer/millenial era#my own mother talked a lot about how she didnt regret having us but she just couldnt pursue things about herself after being a mother#and toriel was going to be about how society and the culture around parenthood is so isolating and demanding#and her divorce from asgore was freeing her up to all these experiences she thought she was never going to have#because even though she lost what she thought was her support she was going to find it in the people around her#like undyne looking after her children and her making new friends in her older age#and her just finding community and realizing she has so much of her life ahead of her#it all just sort of comes back to watching my own mother grow through her divorce and how much it never really affected me#because while my mother Was struggling she was still her own person and not just My Mom or my Dads Wife#and she had a life she wanted to live And children she wanted to care for#boys & girls#fanart

Remembering the toxic hellscape that was 2015-2019ish SU fandom and just how much hate the show got is really insane when you rewatch the show after it's been a while. Like the show is good what the hell were any of these people talking about
#do NOT quote me on those numbers i pulled them straight out of my ass#like the ending was rushed and the diamonds didnt get to be fully developed but liek#the whole reason that was the case is there was an entire 6th season planned#and then the show got axed early because rebecca sugar and crew refused the back down on the rupphire wedding.#and even rushedness aside like the point of the show was never that you should hug fascists and forgive people no matter what#the diamond were rose's (and his) dysfunctional family whose personal suffering became the basis for the cruelty of gem society#bismuth in The Real World would have been right to want to kill the diamonds as a force of revolution#but the point of the show is that even the most complicated people are still people who can change. even if you dont forgive them#even steven quartz universe the most loving boy in the world very obviously does not like being around the diamonds. but that is how it is#it was a children's show that emphasized compassion and communication and family as themes. of course steven didnt kill the diamonds lol#i really fully believe the stevenbomb format (which was not the crew's choice or fault) cooked peoples' brains#you had months between major arcs so every wrongdoing by a character had months to be warped and misinterpreted and so no resolution could#ever satisfy fans who were festering with their own opinions for way too long#like these arcs looking back are not that long and they resolve in fairly reasonable manners but they took fuckin forever in real time to#wrap up#and ppl on the internet with no other hobbies than arguing made the fandom suck to be in and gave su a bad name#even if you dont like steven universe i think the amount of vitriol thrown at the show is/was fucking INSANE for what it is lmaooo#people were so so jolly to accuse rebecca sugar (a jewish lady) of being a fascist/fash sympathizer and paint every writing shortcoming or#morally dubious character action as a sign of pure fuckin evil#ok that was a long ass fuckin rant in the tags i am so sorry i'm just kind of opinionated on this matter as i am all matters#i've been rewatching su with my dad lately and this very normal and well paced and fun watchthrough experience has been illuminating#just how insane and uncalled for the hellish discourse sphere around su was/is#i say was/is i have no idea what su discourse is like nowadays. i'm too scareds to look in the su crit tag

I had a vivid dream that I flew to some random theater to watch the new episode premiere already, though in reality there aren't even showtimes listed yet on the theater websites. I was one of the first people seated in that classroom-style theater too.
Like, because it was a dream there were of course elements of the episode itself that made me go "what??? Why did Ufotable change it so much???" but also "weeee, new content, this is exciting!" but mostly it was me after the premiere being like, "So I know I just hopped on a plane somewhere to come watch this because of course I would, but I don’t actually know where I am. Hmm. Am I on Shikoku?"
Priorities.
Clearly I am excited to get a new anime episode soon.
#it was like a redo of the last one#instead of an upper moon meeting Douma informed Daki and Gyutaro that they were fired#they were tiny children but instead of Ume it was chibi-Daki and Gyutaro was an alternate version of Gyutaro#who never caught an STD when he was born so he looked totally different#but still recognizably Gyutaro just a healthier version#and then we cut to Tanjiro who was actually a modern boy with a big family who fantasized about being a demon slayer#which was a shock but it got me looking around all the background and photos of their house for clues#and I spotted a photo of Mt. Tengu (also in Shikoku) and was like#oh is that where Tanjiro will get his real life training from Urokodaki?#so now that I am awake I am also like#OH YEAH#Ufotable Cinema is also located in Shikoku#i need to visit Tokushima someday#Mt. Tengu was on the brain only because I saw a photo of it again yesterday on a website I was checking#and I was in that photo#still I kind like that idea of Douma informing the children they're getting let go from the Upper Moons xDDD#he was so Douma about it too#Douma is always in character in my dreams#even that time I convinced him to eat a lemon to prove our friendship#today a shit post

He could have just start replying to the questions on tt because there are hundreds everyday just waiting for him, and fandom would catch on him being online in seconds and would start asking things immediately. There wasn't actually reason for this unless... it been step up.
Set up that someone form above could monitor things, his every step, every move.
There probably was sheet ready with questions he had to answer. Babygate, denying Larry, usual shit.
Maybe there was one answer for one song he pulled out on tour.
One for 505, one for 7, one for HIM in Back To You. Or one for songs and another ones for lights, one for blue and green, other for rainbow ones.
We think he just did that because he could and wanted to. What if he went for an agreement, that he can do this but he will have to make some comments denying all this in the future.

I- don't see them as adults. At least not in the current events of the game/show/comics/novels. Sure, I sometimes portray them as adults in the future. Key wording, in the future.
Either way, why should it matter how someone sees them? If they're not doing anything gross with it, it shouldn't matter if Cuphead is 10 or 19 dude. There's a reason they're labeled as adolescents. (that's ages 10-19.)
