So today I was walking down the corridor or whatever- to go to class. I saw a huge swarm of bees in front of me. And this blind me thought that it was a bunch of flies so I walk straight into it. I got stung, not 1, not 2, but 3!!! I did not cry ofc to avoid causing a scene, and I walk straight up to the stairs and head to class. Yea, I told my friends that I got stung and they were worried so we told the teacher that was currently in class. The teacher saw it and went straight back into teaching. I was like "🗿" but ok- So yea, it got a bit swollen and it hurts at the start but now I'm fine and got meds. Thanks for listening to my story lol bye.

anywhos, i know a bunch of people were upset that monty was excluded from HW2 (and rightfully so sure) but i've kinda gotten used to the fave being given the royal shaft by their franchise so it didn't bother me really. but then i thought of this, and it made me laugh, so i doodled.

Hi! I hope this hasn't been asked before; I looked but couldn't find any information on it. Do you know if the seller LoliGals Lolita Store on Aliexpress are a legit Taobao reseller? I'm attracted by the free shipping, but at the same time I'm always sceptical of places like Aliexpress and eBay... They seem to have a lot of positive reviews though. What are your thoughts on this?

I personally don’t feel comfortable about trusting them. In some cases they clearly label the Taoabo shop their pieces come from, but in other cases their stock photos are just blatantly stolen from bigger brands such as this listing which is apparently for a knockoff of this VM dress. Even with good reviews I personally don’t care to support any shop that doesn’t include their own stock photos and instead chooses to steal them from the brand they’re replicating.

Hey more experienced Lolitas, I saw this dress on aliexpress and was wondering if it was a replica of something else, I genuinely can't find anything that looks like this, even taobao:

I'm super tempted to get the black colorway but I'm not sure. Usually for Lolita dresses on Ali I only trust loligals, they are a brand reseller and you can find infanta and diamond honey for example.

This one is a new listing, no reviews no anything, I just have this doubt and wanted to make sure it wasn't a replica

Do you know any lolita stores that sell dresses that fit broad shouldered folks like myself? Because highkey I'm terrified of buying smth and then accidentally going Hulk on the poor dress and popping every seam if I so much as breathe :"-)

I have decently broad shoulders (at least by lolita standards) and idrk know many stores that sell stuff like that but my dress by the taobao brand Alice Girl (specifically Dream in Cage, size L) fits my shoulders perfectly. You probably should get someone to measure your shoulders (Idk if it’s possible to do it yourself) because lolita sizes rely on centimeter measurements and not random sizes like generic American clothes or whatever. Lolita JSKs (jumperskirts, dresses without sleeves) will likely fit your shoulders if you’re worried about that, but you’ll need a blouse for that which might be troublesome to find. https://milkcircus.com/size-inclusive-sweet-lolita-brands-2020/ Here’s a list of size inclusive lolita brands (Some brands do custom sizing but they might be expensive), i don’t remember if they talk about broad shoulder problems in this list but it’s still helpful if you end up needing a custom sized blouse or OP. This is random but if your shoulders are big, please do not buy anything from Diamond Honey, I bought two dresses and they hardly fit my shoulders. (Also, one of the dresses was defective.) And no matter what you do, don’t buy from Milanoo, Amazon, Lolitashow or Aliexpress (except for the stores Loligals and Honey Cherry).

Unfortunately adding this to my wardrobe. That gives me 3 jsks, 2 pairs of shows and 3 tops. Still no damn tights cuz I’m scared i cant fit them but i found some nice ones on loligals so I’ll try those later :)

tour belgique

was a success. shoutout to belgian public transport trains, it all worked so well and you could pay with card e-very-whe-re. germany really has to improve on that. philli and i had the best time with nice shopping moments in Antwerpen, including brilliant book and notebook stores, nice breakfast in cute neighborhoods, walks and everything just felt like a big pleasure. Bruges was quite quiet and not so crowdy, touristy but pretty, calm and nice to stay at. I really enjoyed our little hotel room compared to our other apartment that we had although finding great food spots was difficult. in the end we ended up finding brilliant food places and meeting lolige persons. Gent was ok, not so much mine but still pretty and a nice visit, such as KnokkeHeist where we walked by the beach and got amazingly Fritten and saw el mar. How nice. On the way back home we stopped in philli’s favorite city (that is close to home) - Brussels. Oh I like Brussels very much. Some shopping here and there, coffee at Fika mit a nice cookie, and the best summer rolls i ever had at Knees to chin. Summer break feels really legit with Zadar - Augsburg - Belgium and soon the Sauerland.
