NCT DREAM Reaction to their S/O wearing glasses

☆ 50 Followers event !! ☆

(First person POV)

Mark- When his S/O wears glasses in front of him for the first time, he just stares at them for a while and tilts his head. “Did you always wear those?” He asks. When you tell him that you usually use contacts, he says that he thinks you look cuter with glasses on. If you just laugh it off, he feels the need to click your picture to show you how it looks, despite you saying that you have very much seen yourself in mirrors all your life. He suddenly has something very important to say and runs around the house till he finds a scrunchie, terribly ties your hair back into a very messy ponytail and shouts that you look exactly like Sam Sparks. “The weather girl from cloudy with a chance of meatballs! You look like her!” This fact seems to excite him a lot so you go along with it, laughing as he decides his costume to cosplay as Flint Lockwood for the next Halloween.

Renjun- Renjun is soft for whenever you wear glasses around him, as he knows you aren’t always comfortable wearing them around people. He’ll just stare at you as you work on whatever you are focusing on. He’ll push up your glasses when he sees them sliding down and then smile, before he sits down beside you to help you out with whatever you are doing. He doesn’t bring up you wearing your glasses directly, but the amount of selfies he suddenly wants to click together may suggest that he finds them pretty.

Jeno- When Jeno finds out that you wear glasses, he doesn’t really care about it. He thinks it's cute, he may also want to see all your school pictures with you wearing glasses. He loves helping you pick out new frames, trying them all out himself before buying a matching pair for both of you. If he finds that you’re uncomfortable wearing them around people, he’ll get super protective if people ask you about them. You’ll probably have to convince him that you don’t mind them, and it’s your choice to wear them whenever you want. He’s happy with whatever you want, and loves playing with your glasses absentmindedly when you put them down.

Haechan- If you wear your glasses around Haechan for the first time, he’s going to say that you look like a nerd, which he finds hilarious. He means it in a nice way, but if you get annoyed he would repeat that he thinks they fit you perfectly because you’re so smart. “I could never get glasses, I am nowhere near as smart as you!” While your glasses have no relation to your level of intelligence, you let him appreciate you for just a while more. He also feels the need to make you read things from afar without your glasses, and tell you about every YouTube video he sees about improving eyesight. All the same, he loves your glasses and convinces you to let him try them nearly every day, just so that he can see the world “from your very blurry eyes”.

Jaemin- The first time Jaemin sees your glasses, he has a lot to say.

“I told you not to stay up on your phone in the night yesterday, this is why your eyes are weak now.”

“Jaemin, I’ve had these glasses since the fifth grade.”

“Well, then looks like you’ve had such terrible habits since fifth grade”

He feels the need to lecture you on taking more care of your eyes and prevent your power from increasing. He also declares that the two of you shall now eat a carrot everyday, despite you protesting that the whole- ‘Carrots help your eyes’ thing is a myth. He even accompanies you to your eyes tests, determined to make sure that your eyes are doing good. Apart from that, he finds your glasses lying around in the wildest of places, and shakes his head while putting them back in their place. He does think that they look very cute on you, not that he’d tell you that of course.

Chenle- When Chenle sees that you wear glasses, he finds nothing more interesting than that. He holds up fingers for you to count when you take off your glasses, puts them on, comments on their weight, colour, shape and- touches the lenses. If this gets you annoyed, he would be apologetic but you wouldn’t mind too much cos he does tend to get excited about random things. After that though, he would make sure people didn’t try wearing your glasses or touching them, though he couldn’t help but try them on once in a while.

Jisung- Jisung would be too shy to say anything directly about your glasses, and would assume that they were empty frames. He might compliment you once about that but would be surprised if you wore them to read or to look at something. If he is showing you something on his phone and you whip out your glasses and giggle at the meme, he would just stare at you open-mouthed. “You wear..actual glasses?Why?”

“No,They’re infrared Jisungie, help me find lost things,...and people”

Poor boy would be more confused than ever and would just stare at you till you laughed at his confusion and explained your sarcasm. He would find it funny enough but probably not bring up the glasses again.
