For the first one (what's on my lockscreen) It's actually a poster I had commissioned by a friend of mine of my Paper Guard series! Seeing the poster gives me so much motivation to work on my original series, and I'm hopeful to make it into a published book :) (side note: my buddy 'Cracker Jackal' over there just made a TPG poster for me too and it's amazing and they should *nudge* totally post it *nudge* so people can see it)

The second (do I have piercings), I do but not as many as I used to. I have the standard ear piercing still, but once upon a time I got another set right above them for stud earrings, and I hardly used them and they closed up. Don't really wear piercings as much anymore tbh, although I've looked at and debated lip piercings. I like the look of a lower lip ring, it just looks cool. Dunno if I'll do it though XP

And the last one, which I was eager to get to here...What I think says the most about a person...gosh there's so many things. In the grand scheme of things, the most obvious thing is the alignment between the things that they say and the things that they do. That's the kicker right there; if a person's words aren't meeting their actions, something's fishy. Especially if, as an example, someone says they've got your back and such, but then they flake every time you actually need them or they don't get back to you. People can be busy, but people can also be careless. Had one too many people like that pass me by, and I'm glad I trusted my gut on those.

The long extension to that answer (because I really like that question) is that people are going to give off vibes no matter what. As someone who essentially lives to observe and vibe-check people (as a result of trauma no doubt) I see a lot of personality traits pretty quickly, mainly in the small things that people say/do (or don't, depending on the person). Even as small a question as "what's your favorite color?" tells lots about a person's qualities and what makes them tick. For me I definitely look for detail, and I really appreciate the people in this world that recognize details too, from symbolism to psychology and all the nitty gritties in between.

There are a few Asian markets even online ones which sell fake everything, fake shrimp as well and in fucking bulk 😮 I buy a lot of meat replacement online, like vegan spam (never had the original). Not saying everything is super tasty but still. I think nowadays HK, Singapore and Philippines are the best in this regard. I love dumplings so much you don't understand, send them over!

And there’s a ridiculous amount at our house too- tell you what, if we get an A for this project, I’ll grab a bottle for you.”

Joanna gave a smile and shook her head. “I don’t think so. There are plenty of people in their twenties who don’t know what they want to do. I’m sure you will find something. And I think I’ll be alright thanks! At this point I’m tough enough to put up with Joff. He's family, you know?" She could tell Viserys was joking, but even so she didn’t like thinking about those people who would take care of others for you... hurt others for you, if you asked. There were enough of those around her family.

“I know what you mean. Even though you know really it’s just how life is sometimes, it doesn’t always stop you feeling guilty when bad things happen, or people die. My aforementioned multitasking! at the dining hall was undertaken as a distraction from a tsunami of sad that came crashing down as I stood in line to order food. While you claim it is within my character to do so, I find myself alarmed by the amount of stimulation I must seek out to dispel my negative thoughts. The high generated from each trip to jim is immediately followed by a low of insufficient interesting activity, accompanied by a classic cry! at the dorm desk. In the six days since September 4th, there have been tears departing my eyes in 8 different hours. What the fuck?

The most recent such instance, post-push-day-and-subsequent-unwise-shoppers-and-dollarama-run-during-which-i-carried-so-much-shit-you-don’t-even-know, though brief, was followed by a moment of reflection as I glanced at myself in my mirror designed for those much taller than myself. As I studied my reflection, tears now long dried and my face returned to its usual stellar state, I was nearly brought to tears once again (which would have been disastrous, mind you, as the time flashed by my lockscreen now began with a 5 as opposed to a 4) by the realization that the marks you had left on me were nearly invisible. Like your intentionally shedded hairs, slowly being blown into the hallway by my upright fan (as opposed to a stan or a casual fan, duh), the traces of you, of your presence in Toronto, the capital city of Ontario (isn’t that WILD?!), are gradually fading.

I miss your skin.

These words, written on a note slipped subtly into the pocket of fictional, bisexual but in denial 70s rock star Ryan Ross, by fictional, openly gay and slutty 70s rock band roadie Brendon Urie in Vol. 2 (Wolves vs. Hearts), chapter 13, of beggarsnotes' iconic tripartite (plus extras) pre-split Panic! at the Disco fanfiction The Heart Rate of a Mouse, may apply here, but they, like most historical perspectives on psychology, are not an adequate representation of the comprehensive nature of the subject in question. Perhaps the exorbitant amount of time we spent together immediately prior to our geographical separation may be to blame, but nevertheless, I miss more of you than simply your skin. I miss the smell of your hair as you lay on my chest and restrict my ability to breathe (as my lungs, already limited in capacity, lay screaming in protest). I miss the absolutely absurd expression with which you look up at me with your head between my legs (like a permanent megamind meme). I miss being nibbled on like a fucking chew toy, leaving various parts of my body to spend the next days aching in disapproval. I miss more, probably, but I am sick of writing and I want to watch Gilmore Girls.
