Day 92 Lisa’s 365 Days of Art Challenge Another entry to my almost daily Art Blog. I’ve missed quite a few days since my last post but hope to resume more regular posts. Day 86 of Lisa’s 365 Days of Art Challenge This art celebrates the positive things in life...there’s my dogs and there’s nature, and there’s the people I love. My art reflects a view that I’m doing my best to adopt, one of hope and faith. Hopefully I will get there. Tonight or this morning, depending upon your perspective, I am grateful for the reprieve I received this week. After worrying all weekend about my dog and a potentially devastating diagnosis, I learned he was going to be ok. When I received the phone call, tears streamed down my face and I couldn’t stop them. I can only assume they were tears of relief. I feel anything but okay right now but I am aware that I have received blessings, one of which is my my dogs. Despite my brokenness, I can’t help but be inspired, comforted, supported, motivated, and even entertained by my dogs. Their antics and devotion keeps me going on even the worst of days. The love our dogs provide is what inspires me to continue to making them a subject of my art. This drawing is of my friend Nano. Yucca Seeing him in his goggles makes me smile.
