Arsenal Women x Child!Reader
Summary: The annual Arsenal Christmas video
"Hi everyone," Leah says to the camera," I'm Leah Williamson and I just want to say, sorry, Mum. I know you told me not to let her do this before Christmas day, but I'm here with the youngest member of our squad and...What are we doing today, bean?"
You sit in the middle of a little half-circle of the Arsenal girls with a little sack in front of you. There's a Santa hat on your head and you're holding the sack like you're scared it will float away.
"Presents!" You cheer. "I'm like Santa!"
"You are like Santa," Leah says, smiling at the camera," So we've got our own Santa here at Arsenal and she's going to close her eyes, spin around and give everyone their Christmas gifts. Ready, bean?"
"Ready!"
You close your eyes nice and tight, spin around and aimlessly wander to your left. Arms clamp around your waist and you open your eyes to see Teyah and Lessi.
You beam and reach into your sack. "For you!" You give them both their gifts.
"Top trumps!" Teyah says triumphantly as Lessi pries her Michael Jordan Funko Pop out of the package.
"I'm gonna put this in my locker."
You close your eyes again, squeezing them tight as Lessi helps you spin. You go straight this time and fall into the laps of Noelle and Cloe.
Cloe ends up with the 100 pics riddle game and Noelle gets a fondue thing. They both seem especially happy and Noelle ruffles your hair.
"I'll have to bring you round for fondue, bean."
You don't know what fondue is but you think it's food so you're happy to go.
Next up is Lina and Stina - who catches you when you stumble - and they get a little teddy bear and a tree ornament of Stina kissing the trophy.
"You gotta put it on the tree," You say to her as she laughs at the picture," Because that's what it's for." You turn to Lina. "And have to give your bear cuddles. Teddies die without cuddles."
Caitlin and Vic are next and you get a picture on Vic's new camera with the three of you and Caitlin wearing her new Arsenal beanie.
You fall onto Viv on the next round and giggle hysterically as your favourite Lia moves to tickle you. You give her her gift first which ends up being big plastic things to pick up leaves with. Frida gets a special ornament with a picture of her scoring.
Viv gets a nice jumper with her and Beth on.
"You gotta wear it to the next game!" You say.
Viv laughs. "Maybe I will."
Gio and Kim follow them and you sit in Kim's lap as Gio unwraps the blue Arsenal bag that's meant to sit on her hips. Kim laughs in embarrassment as she gets a mug that proclaims her as the best captain ever and has an arrow that points at her when she drinks from it.
Laura catches you on the next round when you misstep on Kathrine's ankle.
Laia lets you have some of the Spanish gift she gets. It's kind of like nougat but it's got nuts in it and you're not too sure that you like the texture.
Kathrine gets socks (you always end up with socks in your stocking) and Laura gets a snow globe with a picture of her only goal in it.
Laia and Kathrine both help you do your spins and the next person you fall into is your sister.
She hugs you tight around the waist as you balance on her lap while digging through the bag. Her gift is one of the longer ones and it takes you a little bit to get it out of your sack.
You sit down properly when she leans forward to open it, bursting into laughter when it's revealed to be a keyboard.
"I'll teach you, bean," She says, pressing a few of the keys," Won't that be fun?"
"I don't have to do everything you do," You say a bit condescendingly but you're smiling so Leah knows how you really feel, pinching at your cheek.
"Off you go, bean," She says," You've got more presents to give out."
She spins you around so much that you basically crash into Jen and Beth.
Jen ends up with a book of Christmas carols for the guitar while Beth gets the same jumper as Viv just in a different colour.
"That's you and Viv," You tell her.
"Yeah, bean! That's me and Vivi!"
Naomi gets her gift next, a book of very unfunny dad jokes that you only laugh at so she doesn't feel sad that she's not funny at all.
Manu, Kyra and Steph come next.
Manu gets a picture of the goalkeeper union while Kyra gets a packet of Tim Tams that she lets you eat two from.
"It's a jumper for Calvin!" You exclaim when Steph unwraps her own present.
She looks ecstatic and she swears that she'll send a picture of Calvin wearing it to Leah's phone for you to see.
The last person to get her gift is Katie. She looks confused for a moment as she unwraps it before a smile splits her face.
"It's a luxury cat advent calendar," She says.
"For Cooper!" You say.
"That is class. He's gonna love that."
She pulls you in for a hug before letting you plop yourself back on your sister's lap.
She covers your eyes for the last time as someone places the last gift on your lap.
You rip open the packaging and squeal when you reveal an Arsenal jersey. It's got your favourite number on the back and instead of Williamson like all of Leah's jerseys, it's got the words 'The Boss' on the back.
You pull it over your head with help from your sister and she nudges you up to wave and smile at the cameras.
"Do you remember what to say?" She prompts you.
"Merry Christmas, Gunners!"

Alex knocked on the front door of his brother's student house, nervous to see what was behind it. Four guys in one house couldn't be good, Alex had heard the horror stories of mold infested student houses, no curtains or pillows just bin bags and hope keeping the house together.
Marc had not really given a full description of what his new house was like. Just the basics such as he had three roommates, none of them axe murderers. He mentioned how he got along with them all very well and how they were excited to meet Alex. The door opened and he couldn't wait to meet the guys his brother was friends with.
Tina looked at the boy in front of her, his bags at his feet as he looked at her confused.
"is this not number 3 Redbridge Avenue?" She nodded dumbly, opening the door to let him in. The boy looked like Marc, if he was younger and had braces. He stood awkwardly as Fran and Lina walked out of their rooms to gawk at him. They didn't remember a new roommate moving in, Marc was the only guy who lived with them. Fran looked at the boy properly, scanning his features. She glanced at the singular framed image on the wall; Marc's baby brother Alex. She looked at the teenager in front of her again, connecting the dots as he mouth formed an 'o'.
"Marc?" Lina called out, realising that Tina had just let a stranger in their house. Yes, he was a lanky boy who still looked like her roommate but he was a stranger. Marc walked out of his room, body-slamming himself into his younger brother. Alex hugged his older brother happily, pausing as three more bodies joined their hug. They all pulled apart, all making themselves comfortable on the small sofa in the living room.
Alex was confused why there were three women living with his brother, and he was more confused why his baby picture was framed on their wall. He was even more confused when he read the writing next to his baby picture;
Sweet baby boy
Would die for him
A baby buffalo in a world of just hatched chicks.
Alex looked at his brother, mentally begging for an explanation. Marc shrugged. "Alex meet my roommates, Valentina, or as we call her, Tina." he pointed to the tall woman who opened the door to him. She had messy hair that was braided back in two pigtails. "-Marlene, but we call her Lina." She had jet black hair, her long braids adorned with gold beads that glistened in the sunlight coming from the window. Marc continued, "-and this is Francine but we call her Fran." Her hair was wild, open and looked like a lions mane, multiple colours shining through. "They didn't have housing for me in the dorms so I signed up for a room in a student house and was lucky enough to end up here." Marc explained. Alex pointed to the baby picture on the wall. "We didn't have any pictures except for that one so we hung it up." Lina shrugged her shoulders. "It's a good picture of you, everyone who visits loves it."
Alex felt himself relaxing, his brother and his roommates telling him nights out as he told stories of Marc and his childhood. Their blissful pocket of gossiping over lunch ended with the sound of a heavy motorbike revving. Marc groaned as Tina cursed. Alex looked at Fran confused, "our stupid neighbours. They think it's fun to be loud assholes and steal our bin." The sound of cans falling echoed through the living room and Fran and Lina sat on Valentina to stop her from marching out the door. Marc and Alex went outside, gathering the recycling that fell out back into the bin as the sound of music leaked through the house in front. When Marc's back was turned Alex threw a empty baked beans can into the front garden of the other house before hurrying inside.
Tina looked at Alex and winked at him, "I won't tell anyone about the can in the garden. Good aim." He blushed as she swung an arm around his shoulders, ushering him to the living room to eat as they watched a movie.
Alex fell asleep with his head in Fran's lap, Lina sharing a blanket with him. When the movie was over, Marc carried Alex into his room and put him in his bed, falling asleep on the floor.

"lina! do you have everything? we have to leave soon"! Nina shouted up the stairs to the little 4 year old.
"I'm coming Momma"! her smol voice answered back.
a few moments later, Lina came trotting down the stairs, her toy moo in hand.
"do you need help tying your shoes"? Nina asked.
"no thanks Momma, daddy teached me how" Lina replied as she bent down to tie her laces.
"Oh? ok then", Nina said with a small twinge on her heartstrings. it was only yesterday that she found out she was pregnant with her, and now here that little girl was tying her own laces.
"Ok, I'm ready momma", lina said.
"Ok, my little bean, lets go to uncle Wy and Jes's" she said as they walked out the door.
"Jesper! Milo! get down here! Lina and Nina will be here any minute! we don't have anymore time to work on whatever project you started"! Wylan shouted from the kitchen.
"Just about done"! Milo said back.
the last time they two trouble makers met up, it had been a week ago at waffle day, and the two had made plans for thier toys. Milo told the little girl that her would make moo a cool suit for him to where, and thats what he did.
"alright Milo, we have to get downstairs before your dad gets angry at us. is the surprise done"? jesper asked
"ok, papa. i just have to add one more thing". milo said as he went under his bed.
"boy, what are you getting under your bed"? jesper asked
"it's this sparkly thing i got when i want to town with dad", the little boy said as he held up a jar of blue glitter.
"and what, dare i ask, are you going to do with a jar of glitter"? jesper asked

"nina! and hello there my little firecracker", wylan greeted the two and proceeded to give lina a hug.
"uncle wy, where's milo"? lina asked
"oh, he's upstairs in his room", wylan said.
"ok!" she said all excited. then the little girl began to race up the stairs, fell, then got up and kept running.
"milo! i'm here"! she said as she opened up his door.
"hey lina! moo's suit is ready, and i also finished bits's fire breathing piece", milo told her as he pulled out the sparkly blue armour suit fitted for a small stuffed wolf.
Lina gasped, an snatched the armour out his hands
"milo, it's shiny! and blue my favourite colour. thank you thank you THANK YOU"! she said as she ran and give him a hug.
milo grunted due to the force of impact the girl ran into him, but he was happy he made a little girl smile. and then for the better part of two hours, they played with bits and moo, moo being the brave night, and bits being the scary dragon.

happy Carolina gives me life 💙
finally getting around to the final lines.. this is probably going to take months to finish and you know what. that's okay. I need to go at my own pace. I think I burnt myself out last summer churning art and fic out at such a rapid pace... and now with the impending doom of having bodily autonomy rights ripped out from under us in the us I'm not doing very much creatively bc all of my energy is going to staving off anxiety, and trying to find ways to be useful with my limited resources.

“ Don't worry your pretty head about it baby, just relax he's not dead he just yk....learned a lil lesson.”
“It’s too early for this.” I hang the phone up, laying it on my desk. Heading to the bathroom and washing my face. He does this all the time, it’s been five years and he can’t seem to keep it together. What the hell goes through his head everyday. I open the drawer/mirror to see my edge control is missing.
" I swear its everyday with these bitches" I whisper to myself, before sticking my head out of the bathroom door.
" Now which one of you whores used my shit and didn't put it back" , I yelled to my roommates.
" Sorry y/n, I swear I was gonna put it back here you go.", Maya comes out of out of her room handing me the gel before quickly retreating back to her room.
" Like I said, everyday with these bitches." I say out loud.
My lace is liftin, my nigga trippin, and one of my hoes is missin. I cannot stand no one right now. I swiftly fix the lace of my black and pink lace front.
" Its definitely time for a new one." thinking to myself. Walking to my closet, I pull out a black bralette with a pink miniskirt with fur boots and leg warmers. This should be good for now. I just need to find out what the hell happened. Connie and Eren are not answering my questions and I know their asses had something to do with it. Always starting shit and can never be confronted about it.
" This friend group is full of psychos I swear." Eren, Jean and, Con with their anger issues, Armin and Reiner with their D.I.D, and Sasha with her....girl yk lol. We all met at our senior prom it was um...an interesting night. I mean if you call trauma and drinking a fun time then you'll know what I mean. However, it did bring us all together. How we didn't know each other in high school I'll never know but getting to know them all has given me somewhat a new joy in life.
I've been thinking so much I didn't realize I've driven to Jean's. Dissociation will do some weird things to you while driving especially when you don't need it to. I make my way to the back door and knock loudly.
" Open the door whores you know what I'm here for." I hear a voice on the other side and loud footsteps.
" Damn ma I'm coming gimme a sec." Jean swings the door open and steps to the side as I walk in. Turning around folding my arms, I stare at him intensely.
" Now tell me, do you know what happened or I should I harass the twin buffoons for answers." I asked him. Wrapping his arm around my shoulder he pulls me in.
" I'll let you harass the idiots meanwhile, wanna smoke a blunt wit me hm? "
" Of course Jean baby lets go." I grab his wrist as we make our way to the hangout area. Which is technically the basement but we drunkenly decorated the place after Eren's birthday. I grab the dark blue bean bags from the corner and drag them in front of the flatscreen tv mounted on the wall. I look to the side and spot Jean heading over to the table with the stash. Sitting beside me and grinding the weed before sprinkling the contents in the roller paper.
" So, tell me what happened this time." He says
I turn to the the side to face him with a pout on my face. " I think Con is getting possessive again. I mean he has Lina, why is he acting like I belong to him." I explain.
" You know y/n, I think he's using her as an excuse to not have to deal with getting over you. He's obsessive, if you think he'll give you up that easily.....sorry ma but you're slower than I thought." He says while licking the blunt. " Hand me the lighter plz."
I reach in my pocket and pull out the pink lighter. It has everyone's initials written in diamonds. Handing it to him I sigh, " He's a damn psychopath if he thinks this will win me back."
" In that case, your delusional if you think I can't have you back."

Headcanons on food cuz I'm hungry!!!
Anne, Cathy and Anna chew their lollypops, and more than once have they accidentally fractured a tooth or two while doing so
Kat has random tastes, like, she'll straight up ask for bean-flavoured ice cream and eat it, no problem
Lina is allergic to kiwi, but she's so stubborn cuz kiwi is delicious that she eats it anyway
Jane and Anna love yoghurt icecream, Kat and Anne would rather have snow icecreams, and Cathy and Lina will die for sombrela (If you don't know what these are, I'm so sorry for you, those are magical)
Anne and Cathy eat their foods separated (as in, not mixing the stuff on the plate) and in a specific order (Cathy eating in abundance order and Anne eating what she likes less before the other stuff)
Anna has an undeniable urge to try to create her own recipes, they kinda end up either very good or intoxicating everyone for a week
Jane will add whole jalapeños to her food, and no one knows how she can handle that
Don't ever mess with Jane, she has complete control of the kitchen and will add surprises to your food if you ever piss her up :) Lina paid the price, and she found the raw egg far too late
Kat will feed Paco (Anna's dog) her leftovers as the good friend she is
