I think my favorite thing about doing ginger red hair instead of cherry red hair is: lying to people about it
#I love the cherry red / wine red and I'll probably go back at some point bc it's my Origin.#but for now.#I don't actively lie to people but bc it's a Natural and Plausible hair color#and I'm already pale and I dye my eyebrows to match my hair. ppl figure it's natural#and it has come up MULTIPLE TIMES. and I've recently been rolling with it instead of correcting ppl. bc who cares?#recent examples that come to mind (but I did correct them in this one) my surgeon assuming it was natural#and using my genetics as a natural redhead as a baseline to tell me about what I can expect from my future scarring#and then again later with the anesthesia. they were going to dose me differently#the anesthesiologist glanced at me when I came into the OR and was getting the stuff ready on his cart#and when he heard me talking to my doc and re-telling him that oh the hair isn't natural#he was behind the curtain like FUCK#taking shit off his cart and quietly redoing his setup#that's how I learned that redheads need higher doses of anesthesia than other ppl.#they also need more of the topical stuff like lidocaine. apparently they metabolize it faster(?)#ANYWAY he was going to up my dose thinking I needed it lol#so i almost got way more sedatives and pain meds than i needed bc of my hair dye LMAOOO#other more Normal Life examples was a country dude in full hunting gear holding a door open for me someplace#and I said thank you and he lifted his hat up to point at his (natural) red hair and said ''twins!''#this one sticks with me because that was such a cute thing to do. what the hell#and at snakefest I was talking to some people at their food truck. there was an older guy who trapped me into a convo for like 30mins#he was Very Nice. and they were going to some type of irish festival next and said I should go too bc I'll be right at home#flat out just was like. this bitch looks irish#and I don't know why all of this is so funny to me. it has no reason to be.

i love katniss's absurd observations of other people that she doesn't care about. she is absolutely a kind and empathetic individual, there is no doubt, and extends mercy towards people she dislikes/outright hates but if she can't remember your name because you haven't made an impression she will literally just be like "oh yeah sly cunning girl from district five. foxface. district six tributes that are clearly addicts. the morphlings. monstrous boy from district two" etc etc and it's. extremely funny

Ok but Silver and Riddle friendship.
They're both second years without many friends, mostly because the former's anger issues and the latter's stoic expression drive people away.
But, thanks to the equestrian club, Silver meets a Riddle that, while stern, has a soft spot for animals (who also like him, Silvee can tell), while Riddle quickly learns that Silver is a honest, faithful and dedicated individual, fighting against his sleep attacks to improve himself and better protect his family.
They quickly become friends, sharing tips and tricks on magic and even swordfighting (Riddle probably knows a thing or two about fencing).
Lillia is so overjoyed he sends a special tart as a gift and almost kills Riddle.
#silver probably can calm riddle down#and riddle always helps him with homework and gives him notes if he sleeps during class#like that study session during the anthology#they once separately spent an entire night brewing potions for the other#riddle made a potion that's ten times as potent as any coffee#while silver prepared a tea that lillia claimed to calm even the most furious of the draconias#nobody noticed their friendship until the moment silver stopped the redhead from imploding in anger when RSA visited#he still blew up later because a random fae insulted silver#twst#silver vanrouge#riddle rosehearts

Think I gotta make it clear that I believe that, outside of John and his very special very unique very extraordinary nobody else touch it relationship with John, Paul is actually quite Immoveable Heterosexuality.
We know about the girls, girls, girls! Paul's reputation for not only not capable of happily sitting still but to have the twitchiest dick amongst them. I'm not saying all the game is true but it's true Paul was a fitting rock'n'roll whore.
Immoveable Heterosexuality... With just one tiny exception.
It's just that, I've never read about Paul having the same sort of Relationship that could compare with the one he had with John, the unavoidable chemistry, friction, electricity, and attraction on so many levels no one has been able to correctly pin it down yet. When ever even asked if he could meet someone and establish the same sort of collaborative partnership, Paul has immediately shut it down.
Not even his own wives have come close to what he apparently had with John (they were basically soulmates, as Paul had put it once, amongst other comparisons like lovers/spouses)
Like I mean it with true conviction, John might've swung both ways, but Paul's sexuality has consisted of girls, and, very especially, of John Winston Lennon.
He's Lennonsexual, don'cha know.

wondering if childe being designed with red hair was researched and has a deeper meaning bc theres a bunch of stuff that makes a weird amount of sense. for him to have red hair specifically.
red hair is basically a mutation (mc1r gene) and it affects a bunch of different stuff, not just hair color, but also vitamin production and pain receptors
redheads in particular produce their own vitamin D so historically people with that hair color moved more towards colder climates bc they could retain heat better and thus could withstand the cold more. bc of their vitamin D production they also had stronger bones than people who didnt have red hair so its theorized that in colder climates redheads were having more children than non-redheads bc the latter just had brittler bones and had a rough time in the cold (the video i watched abt it also made a joke abt how redheads would thrive "underground" more than in the sun and well. funny that). also apparently some redheads need 20% more anesthesia than non-redheads bc they can have a higher pain tolerance
so its interesting that childe, known redhead, lives in a cold climate (snezhnaya) has a lot of siblings, and survived the abyss (makes his own vitamin D, has Stronger Bones, possibly high pain tolerance) its kind of hilarious? are u telling me him having red hair is deep. i love that

Guess who finally drew a Tinimmy Kiss?? :D
Yes!! I was actually unsure about how this one was turning out at first, because the pose seemed a bit awkward for some reason? But then I decided it actually looked really cute and soft as I kept going and polishing it up.
I wanted to draw a Tinimmy Kiss because I don’t draw them muppets kissing enough!! Tina and J Ju are two characters I definitely need to draw more of.

Lorroakan is from Amn (Athkatla, specifically) and according to the forgotten realms wiki, status in Amn is all about money and ostentatious displays of wealth. This is likely related to his expensive tastes and shortage of funds mentioned in Descent into Avernus.
I'm very curious as to why he left as well. Was he studying magic in secret and got found out? Or was he a cowled wizard who got expelled (for not being very good at magic, or for some offense?)? if he had to leave because his magic abilities weren't up to their standards, that would explain a lot!
#although having a home they can't return to for any reason can definitely make someone bitter#and it's funny if he was always terrible#Lorroakan#of course most of this isn't actually from bg3 itself and Larian took some liberties with D&D lore; which is fine#I like the world they created overall#also according to the wiki; redheads are not common in amn. probably doesn't mean anything?#Am I overthinking this? yes!#the description of his clothing indicates that he can't go back and has some mixed feelings... relatable
