Im probably gonna get a lot of hate. Im probably gonna get death threats in my ask box (again. Yes Im looking at you "kill the soldiers" anon. Speaking of which, anon will be OFF until this post stops getting notifs. Block me if you don't want to see any other opinions than you own, because I'm allowed to have them.)

But we do NOT need to send death threats, things with smutty themes, etc. Into a celebrities ask box all because they're gonna be on this site.

They're people just as much as we are. If you don't like them, theres a handy-dandy feature called "blocking and moving on". Not writing rude messages. Not saying "Blazing a post is a pvp attack". (Because god forbid an artist use a feature to be seen)

I understand not wanting big corps to make their way on Tumblr. Believe me, I do. However Tumblr's advertising (or at least on mobile) is easilly skippable/you can scroll past or actually look at the ad if its somewhat interesting.

Also, Tumblr sells shoelaces for 19 dollars. That should only be like three dollars, but it shows that it really does need the money. (@indigoartistqueen mentioned that, along with other various things in this article) Such as paying programmers to create new features. Paying artists to create new logos and themes. paying the employees that check out the reports. (which I am rlly sorry for them bc I just so happen to keep finding really rude comments or things shipping an 8 year old with an 1000 year old.)

So, if tumblr got a little more money, then merch will cost less. Features will cost less. You can crab someone for less for goodness sakes. (Speaking if which, if you REALLY hate a celeb that badly, run them off with crabs.) But tumblr, just like any other site and app, NEEDS money to keep it running.

Also, don't you think SOME form of algorithm will be good? Or at least better search results? Because artists do tend to use very different tags. (Like memes, funny, lmao, lol, etc.) All that could be grouped under "Funny" so that people can actually find and search for their content easier.

Not to mention that with the way the tumblr staff are, I highly doubt they're gonna be implementing things that will cause a riot from their supporters, like the algorithm, bc the blogs ARE the algorythm, reblogging stuff they like to spread it out.

But just a better tagging system! i myself have stopped posting art as much because I just DON'T get seen! People just don't like or reblog my work, but if I were to blaze it, I would suddenly have 1,000 notes full of threats and "this is a pvp attack. Everybody block on sight."

Now, getting back to the celebrity thing. So many people have said that they don't want any political opinions to divide this site. Well I'd hate to break it to you, but we have, in some form, a type of political dispute. Usually its over the type of view one should have on a fiction character. How you can interpret them. What headcanons are correct. Which fandoms better. Which characters hotter. I could go on over the disputes! Plus the political side of tumblr! Science side of tumblr! Religous site on tumblr!

It never ends! If you don't like a celebrity, DON'T SEND DEATH THREATS TO THEIR ASK BOX! Some will actually commit it! Instead, BLOCK. THEM. It's easy! Don't pay attention to it! Just block them. If you really don't like them, send a cursed image, like I don't know, Patrick Star in stripper heels! A perfect circle thats slightly off! Do NOT send threats, because they're humans just like you! (Or as a Fairy myself, xenogenders as well)

Point is, quit trying to run celebrities off this site all because you're afraid of contriversal opinions that you don't agree with! Just block them! It's there for a reason! It's not like roblox where you can only block 100 people total!

Use the block feature. Don't fight fire with fire. It will ONLY get worse. You don't see firemen using flamethrowers, do you??? No! Please for the LOVE OF WHOEVER OR WHATEVER YOU BELIEVE IN quit spreading hate! It only makes things worse! You're only making yourself worse! Just because tumblr is an anonymous site does not mean you can do whatever you want... Because guess what? There's other humans right behind that post you just saw! (Unless its a bot ofc, that's a different story for another time)

I love the energy and all and I don’t want to offend but as a Muslim girl i can tell you that it is literally haram to identify as anything other than your god given gender. Like I’m not trying to be rude and I’m glad that there a respectful supportive people out there but if you’re looking at the Quran and other islamic book you’ll find stories about how its considered haram. Accepting the islam religion means accepting everything and dedicating yourself to it you can’t just pick and choose.

I would be interested to know what other Islamic books ur talking about btw, but I'm pretty sure the quran doesn't mention being trans anywhere at all. in fact I'm pretty certain, I've read it multiple times with translation and commentary interpretations and anyway being trans wasn't really a 'known' thing back then? bcuz obviously patriarchy and gender roles n segregation blah blah was wayyyy more yk. shit I forgot the word. uhhh yk like prevalent?? ofc the quran does mention a shitton about gender roles,, so yk men r the breadwinners, women raise the kids and keep house and be good wives etc. and also remember the big important fact:: GENDER AND SEX R DIFFERENT THINGS!!! meaning technically u cant be 'born' a gender (omfg my keyboard hates me imagine a question mark here) ur born with certain genitals and society assigns u a gender based on that . sounds a bit fucked when u put it like that actually but anyway back when the quran was being revealed this wasn't a known thing cuz yk they didn't have studies on this stuff,, and yea ur probably gonna say 'but the quran came from allah and he knows everything' well the fact of the matter is he either forgot or smth idk I don't speak for God but trans people definitely exist that's a fact we know so yeah. oh I should come back to my point which was, even with the quran saying those things about what ur supposed to do based on whats in ur pants which is crazy outdated anyway it doesn't take gender ≠ sex into consideration either soo ye that's the most it could've said about being trans and that not very valid anymore rip and that's not even mentioning non-binary people

and anyway Islam is literally all about acceptance and respect and everything so idk it would probably be better if u didn't go around telling ppl they're 'literally haram' for being trans or gay or any typa queer bcuz its literally not our choice (insert question marks) believe me I would fucking love to be comfortable in my 'female' body but I cant no matter how much I try to force myself so I'm sorry dude. no one would choose to be stuck in a situation like this. personally, I believe Islam needs a super massive reformation. well not Islam exactly, but a lot of things said in the quran r outdated wildly now, while a lot of it will also always be relevant, eg. everyone being equal and yk give to the poor etc. i have absolutely nothing against Muslims (I have it against my family for being so forceful about religion - different thing) yall r super cool and ik being a Muslim girl isn't easy believe me, but genuinely seeing Muslim people around and yk, just existing in wider society outside of Islamic spaces makes me feel so proud of where I came from even if its not been the best experience. have u seen the show We are Lady Parts (question mark) its about an all female Muslim punk band and there's only six episodes I literally watched it all today but the message of it is what I'm trying to get to you. u don't have to be the perfect pious wife to be considered a 'good Muslim',, there are so many ways u can show faith. you don't have to be a big strong man who can handle all pain with ease while single-handedly providing for a family either.

also, yes, Kaiden-Shenandoah is my first name. the hyphen is optional, but you still have to type/say the whole thing. no, you may not call me "Kaiden". yes, i am aware it is a mouthful lol

tbh i think kimchay might have worked better if 1 chay was played by an older actor and 2 kim's manipulation had been much more obvious and fucked up, which imo couldn't happen because barcode is so young. i get their canon ages might be 17/21-22 but because their actual age difference is 10 years and barcode was still a minor while filming their scenes were very tame, and im thankful for it because well-being of actors is always the most important thing to me, but if instead of 1 kiss on the cheek we have had seen them actually dating or kissing or having sex, all while kim was lying to him constantly (or even pressuring chay a bit to get his info) then the love confession + eventual break up and break down would have felt a lot more "earned" or natural and would have fitted the story better imo. i won't comment much on vp because the shippers have kinda ruined it for me before it started so im very biased lol but i think they did the best they could with the absolutely terrible source material they had, i read it because i was curious of what i was getting into and oh my god..... like im actually excited for s2 of kp because theres no source material YET so hopefully the kpts directors can do whatever they want

You may have a point there because there's only so much the production team could do in this situation. But it's a good thing that they did take into consideration the comfort of the actors in this scenario, but I think his age was a hindrance when it comes to making KimChay seem more .... romantic. The energy/vibe I've always gotten between them was more like big brother/little brother kind of deal. Like, I never got the vibe there was any real sexual tension between them. Which I think is mostly due to Barcode's age. I used to call them the puppy love duo. If you look on my blog, I legit tagged them as "puppy love duo." No one looks hella old on this show, but Barcode/Chay has always looked like a baby to me. He looks like a child, so it would get kind of skeevy to think about Chay doing anything that Porsche has done on this show. That would be wildly insane honestly.

On one hand, there's all of this. On the other hand, I can't read Kim all that well so I honestly never know what he feels. You have the age issue plus the mystery of Kim. Kim is so guarded and mysterious that who even knows what he truly feels? Because canon hasn't told us anything. Anything that Kim has done so far with Chay hasn't been a grand romantic gesture. The only time I thought we were starting to get some feeling out of him in regards to Chay was when he tried to get Chay to confess how he felt about him. You know, after Kim went snooping in their house and found the shrine dedicated to him? Yeah, that was the only time I thought we were going there because that legit had nothing to do with his investigation at all. But that didn't go anywhere and he just went back to being the sexy mysterious guy who walks off into the night all cool-like after saving the day a la Batman. Granted, we saw something in this last episode from Kim and my ears perked up. It caught my attention, but I have no idea what the writers are gonna do with that.

The writers may have done the best they could, but I still feel like they could have done more. I know there was a lot of drama and concern about whether the show would even get made or not, and that probably had something to do with how this whole thing panned out?

as a sidenote - if you're using both of the built-in tumblr filters and content blockers, im a little surprised that the post wasn't filtered for you? in my personal experience, the combination of ~double filtering~ terms in the Tags and then again in the Post Content sections has blocked pretty much every post (save my own, and ads) to mention / be tagged with / even a reblog that originally was tagged or contained the filtered terms. like, this site is buggy and inadequate in so many ways, but then they updated the blocking and filtering earlier this year (?? last year??? must've been last year) they did it well.

so below is a quick grab of mine:

so my full list of filtered TAGS is.... incredibly long and im v glad that these are more 'red flag OP tags' on display more than common triggers - ant!-ant!, as!acore, cott@gecore, to block anything tagged on my dash, OR and posts that OP had originally tagged as such, from my view

and then filtered POST CONTENT you can just see 'hollowuscr' which i think is also in the tag list but the story there is a while back there was a sort of... unreality / horror-esque rp promo interactive blog and i found it and the associated puzzles and analysis etc incredibly unsettling and realised it had caused me to dissociate.... so i tried the then-new filtering option and it was all GONE because everyone was either tagging, @ ing or just writing the url in their posts abt it all , the filter(s) caught all of that and while the posts still existed on my dash they had the "blocked because it contains filtered words #xyz" overlay. and it's worked for me across my dashboard and in-dash blog viewing on both desktop and the mobile app. doesn't filter posts if u open the blog in it's own tab, but as far as im aware that's a limitation on all filtering/blocking options available rn.

so if you're using that filtering option w/ the keyword in question here and it's NOT catching mentions in posts, that may be something to contact support about because that's literally their own description of what it's supposed to do

but if it's simply that you've overlooked this additional form of filtering/blocking content, hopefully you can add a few terms to it to give yourself that extra bit of protection and security. not that it needs to be completely in ur hands, triggers are triggers and we all need to be mindful to give adequate warning!!! - but sometimes mistakes happen, and other times....people are just absolute arseholes, and i know it's been very helpful to me since i found out abt the updated tumblr filters so i hope...maybe....it either already is, or can be, useful to you!

Hey hey hey, so I've seen your lack of Bokutoo art (or haikyuu art in general) and at first I was going to comment on it, but then I saw your art theft post and I hope that won't have too much influence on your haikyuu art? Of corse I'm gonna let you post whatever you'd like to post, I just miss it a lot y'know :0

Well. Okay, I’ve talked about this a lot but I understand people don’t just read all my answers and it’s totally my fault for procrastinating on that faq page so let me just go through this again in an as clear way as possible?

I haven’t stopped drawing for hq! As a matter of fact in the last week alone I have posted one, two and three things for that fandom for a total of five portraits and a three panels comic

That said I understand with the rhythm I update this blog you might think “well, that isn’t much at all, is it?”, which, again, is my fault because - even though when compared to most art blogs’ update schedules eight drawing in one week is more than enough - I’m the one who set the rhythm here

The “problem” with hq is that all my favorite characters are currently absent from the manga and there’s no anime airing, while at the same time my other main fandom (bnha) has both an interesting arc going on in the manga AND an anime season airing right now - I hope you’ll understand if my interest at the moment is mostly focused there, that’s a continuous stream of inspiration I have coming my way

To add to that some parts of the Haikyuu!! fandom are being unrespectful of what I post (this includes reposting, treating my stuff as if it were templates for their own art instead of ship/character specific content, honestly unrespectful comments and tags under a lot of my main ships posts and so on) which, you’ll excuse me, but dampens the joy I get from posting art a lot

Moreover, the creative side of the hq fandom is being, at least for what concerns the zones I frequent, pretty damn quiet lately, so I can’t say I get much inspiration from there either

I haven’t stopped and I can’t see in my foreseeable future myself stopping posting stuff for haikyuu!!, and all things considered I don’t think I’m posting too little for it either? Art and inspiration aren’t things I want to force, if I started I would stop finding drawing enjoyable really damn fast and I can’t let that happen - please be understanding, I first and foremost draw for myself, I can’t help it if sometimes I get stuck on one fandom or another

I still don’t think Kaminari is the traitor - as a matter of fact, I still don’t think the traitor is any of the kids. If that’s how it’ll turn out to be I’ll be sad about it, for sure, but right now I really, really don’t believe it. It’s true that the Kaminari-is-the-traitor theory is very cleverly worded and super convincing, but a lot of the things in it are really stretched out as far as I’m concerned

ie, taking the weird faces Horikoshi makes him make in the sketches and using them as proof that he’s got a double face? Too far out for me; his original design being that of a villain? Deku’s original design was villain-ish too, no one is calling him a traitor; taking the expression he made when Aizawa told him he could go to the camp and making it sound like he didn’t want to go? Might be believable as long as you don’t take into account the fact that he had just had a conversation with Midoriya in which he told him it was impossible Aizawa would let them go and that Midoriya was just being too optimistic, the “what the actual fuck is this” expression makes a lot more sense in that context; the fact that he makes clever quotes and uses a complex vocabulary used to say that he’s pretending to be stupid is unfair towards the very real possibility of him just not liking studying or thinking things through analytically but otherwise enjoying reading and being fairly intelligent in his own way?? - in the theory it’s also mentioned that it’s weird how during USJ he was worried about an electricity villain overcharging him as if that’s not perfectly normal, having an electricity quirk obviously doesn’t stop him from suffering overcharges, and later during the end of term exam they say it’s “weird” he refused to go all out with his qurik from the start, again, as if that weren’t a perfectly sensible decision in that context (you have to keep in mind that Kaminari is also studying to become an hero, him going “wait a second, maybe keeping on going stupid and putting myself out of commission every time I fight isn’t the right choice” is perfectly in line with him growing up and learning)

Now I don’t have the post open in front of me and it’s been a while since I’ve read it, but most of the theory as far as I get it is based on the idea that Kaminari can’t be lazy and an airhead and might talk without thinking now and again (the Stain comment), but at the same time be clever in his own ways, which just isn’t convincing for me. It’s taking this character’s three dimensionality and making it a plot-hole, why would you want to do that

(on a similar note, the Kirishima-is-the-traitor theory doesn’t convince me for the same kind of reason, it’s all based on the idea that he can’t just genuinely like Bakugou for who he is without having second reasons for it, which is just unfair and cuts too much off the personality of a really good, well written character)

As far as the new villain guy goes, I understand why most of the fandom might be weary and linking him to Kaminari, but we don’t know his color scheme nor his quirk and the pattern on his hair isn’t even a lightning bolt - Horikoshi has had to make up unique designs for a whole damn lot of characters, the fact that one random guy might have something similar to Kaminari isn’t really enough to make him his dad (again, it might turn out to be true, but in my opinion it’s still too early to make theories about it). Also, this guy is from the Eight Precepts. Weren’t you all trying to link Kaminari to the League of Villains? Isn’t the traitor supposedly tied with the League? How many people is this boy working for even

By the way, during the USJ attack the villains had informations they couldn’t have gotten from any of the kids aside from Midoriya (the “they told me All Might was getting weaker” comment) and tbh that’s enough for me to not believe any of the student is behind the informations leak, but all of this is just my opinion

LMAO, that is what my haters don't understand, how you present yourself is how I respond. I can talk about ANYTHING but don't treat me like garbage and expect me to respect you. Nope, not going to happen.

You would be amazed to know that my followers and I do not agree on everything. But we are adults, we tag accordingly and we blacklist accordingly. We agree to disagree on some topics as long as we have enough stuff to fangirl (or boy) over.

Oh yes, with the destiehellers, you are either with them or against them. We, wincest/bibros, don't have that absolute vision of the show. There are certain things I have issue with and I'm sure there are some posts of mine, that make my followers roll their eyes. But like I said, we agree on the big picture, the little details aren't important.
