SS Nomadic’s lifeboat, the last remaining White Star Line lifeboat in the world. It has been on display onboard the Queen Mary in Long Beach since around 2017. Just recently it has returned to Belfast, hoping to have it displayed near Nomadic. Unfortunately, nobody wanted to display it. So the owners have stripped her of her signage and fittings and they are preparing her for long-term storage.

A comment (Thanks, @dejablonde !) Mentioned how the designers should have painted one part in a highly visible color. Here's an example of a deep submergence vehicle with something like that.

(This is the Alvin, the sub that discovered Titanic's wreck.)

But, let's say you're rich and want to do things your way. When Disney was designing their cruise ships, they wanted lifeboats in the colors of Mickey's shoes...so they convinced the Coast Guard to permit it. But, they still had to prove it would be visible. Here's a picture of one of their lifeboats towing a raft of people seeking to leave Cuba.

(Yes, modern lifeboats have a motor, no matter who runs them.)

As @dejablonde put it, this would have been a good idea. But the guy running the company didn't consider it.

Season 1: Lifeboats - Kendall solves the company’s debt crisis and gets called a fucking idiot by Logan. gee, this logan guy is really terrible! sets up that Kendall will never be king as long as his father lives. 

Season 2: Hunting - Logan humiliates everyone but esp. Tom and Greg (and Karl) on a company boar hunt; Kendall reveals Roman blew the first Pierce negotiations. Logan (re)asserts his power, Kendall ascends, Roman descends (to management training). elsewhere, Shiv cheats on Tom (first time post-marriage, signaling how she expects their relationship to continue).

Season 3: The Disruption - episode ends with Shiv humiliating Kendall (while Roman and Connor bow out), Kendall hiding in shame, and the FBI invading Waystar in a major, unprecendented surrender by Logan. very operatic “end-of-Act-1″ vibes. who’s going to win? maybe no one will win! 

Season 4: Connor’s Wedding - LOGAN DIES. the fundamental nature of the family has been altered forever. peak emotional devastation. who are the Roy siblings without Logan? 

Apocalypse one:

I have built a financial lifeboat in this recession but the most difficult part is watching your friends drown in it. I couldn't have build it bigger boat nor were their any alarms to sound, by which I mean I have been sounding the alarm for years but people have mistaken that noise as my character. I couldn't get them to move. I didn't cause the recession of course but as is activist taking responsibility requires taking the blame too. I didn't create a movement. I did create a lifeboat.
