Any fun facts about yourself you'd like to share?
Hmmmmm, hmmm, fun facts... not existential horrors...
Let's see, what's a new thing for the tag that I haven't already talked about...
Oh!!! I know!!!
When I was little (like, before schooling started), my family spoke French and Arabic in the home.
I also LOVED the Narnia books, which I read voraciously. These were in English.
So, my mother with all the confidence in the world enrolls me in a normal kindergarten class for American children all of whom speak English. I am fluent, after all. I read English novels!!
Until this point I was under the impression English was a made up fairy tale language.
Please envision for a moment a tiny little middle eastern child in the whitest classroom on earth, barely coping with the fact that EVERYONE IS SPEAKING PERFECT ELVISH.
I did NOT cope well with finding out that it was 1) Real and 2) had RULES.
You've heard of ESL English as a second language), now get ready for whatever the fuck that is.

Willow: since we're trapped in the Human Realm and have time to kill, we've been thinking that it'd be great if you could show us some of some of the human 'movies' you're always raving about!
Luz: oh man I'd love to show you guys some of my favs! but uh, a lot of my top ten picks are horror movies so maybe we should start with something less scary
Gus: pfft, Luz, come on. after all the stuff we've been through together, what could these 'horror movies' possibly have in them that could scare us?
Luz: yeah, I guess you're right
*cut to the Hexsquad frozen in horror in front of John Carpenter's The Thing while Vee & Luz eat popcorn*
Luz: oh man you guys, this is the best part coming up!!

"I'll take care of you. it's rotten work. especially to me. especially if it's you. I'll do it but christ alive" except it's just me dragging myself through the basics of being a healthy functioning person.

vees what was the first most alarming bird
A non-domestic turkey
Even punching a bald eagle that broke into my house less stressful.
Those bitches were hunting me down in a pack.
While, geese and swans are... willing to concede to my displays of avian dominance (being larger and punching) turkeys do not care.
They know I am an outsider, perhaps they even know I am a Bird Eater, and they react accordingly.
