I imagine that Percy becomes a teacher when he’s older, because of Chiron and Paul, but I also imagine that the school he teaches at becomes kinda a safe space for Demi gods. Like it’s not demigod exclusive it’s just a school where demigods CAN get an education without fear of monsters. And whenever there is a monster Percy beats the shit outta it so it doesn’t hurt the students, and when students do get hurt he just has a drawer in his desk filled with ambrosia and nectar, and when demigod kids who don’t know about him come into his class late with a bloody should and he tosses them ambrosia and they’re like “wtf” he’s just like “cabin three, hbu” and then doesn’t mark them tardy.

Are you a fan of the immortal Volo headcanon?

I am !!!! In fact it's even one of my favourite headcanons, it opens up so many over headcanon possibilities (e.g. "Volo is the traveler you meet at Canalave's library", "Volo dug the entire Sinnoh underground out of spite" and "Cynthia is actually Volo who transitioned")

I think it is very poetic (in a melancholic way ? if that makes sense) for someone who love history and ruins and such so much to be able (condemned ?) to sight history unfold first-hand. If we assume that it was Arceus who made Volo immortal, then you can see it as an incentive to observe the world he wanted to replace for himself. Forced to witness the infinite beauty of this wold forever, and learn to love it for what it is, with all its people and all its flaws

Volo himself is an intelligent man with a complex personality. I know for sure that he would spend a lot of time thinking about Things TM and learn to do better. He would also experience and experiment lots of different things (such as regions and gender). I see no despair in this situation, in contrary I think Arceus would have acknowledged him and given him an opportunity. This is about hope and redemption for me.

Of course there's plenty of alternative narrative that can be explored, such as the case when Volo is already immortal before the PL:A events, or with slightly different personalities for darker narratives.

So yeah ! You could say I am a fan of the immortal Volo headcanon :)
