Wriothesley x Lyney
Tumblr media
A/N: This was such a joy to write. Special thanks to @lovelynim for the inspiration (this fic is a huge mashup of multiple loose ideas she had), and to @ticklygiggles for proofreading and motivating me with her enthusiasm.
Summary: Wriothesley has done it. He pissed Lyney off for being too rough. After a chilly silent treatment, Lyney gives him the chance to make amends. (Also on AO3)
Note: They have no canon ages in Genshin but in this fic they are both adults (Lyney young adult, Wriothesley some years older).
Word Count: 4K

Ah, wasn’t it just marvelous? That sweet, hysterical laughter. Those cute and rosy cheeks. The way he writhed and squirmed. Wriothesley only needed one hand to pin his boyfriend’s arms firmly above his head, and one hand to tickle him.
His fingers were long enough to touch multiple sensitive places all at once. And boy, Lyney was ticklish. What a delight.
“WRAHah-Wrioahaaha! Nohoho- ahahaha !” Lyney’s lovely sounds didn’t go wasted. Wriothesley embraced them, drank them like they were the finest tea.
Still holding Lyney’s arms firmly and pinning his legs with just his weight, straddling him effectively, Wriothesley spidered his fingers mercilessly all over Lyney’s small torso, digging into his sides and tummy and eliciting the most hysterical bouts of laughter.
“WAHAHah! Nohoh-ohohow stahahahp!” He had him right where he wanted. When he tickled Lyney’s armpit and realized he wasn’t going anywhere no matter what he tried, he released his arms and tickled his other armpit as well, digging his fingers under there to find the hidden treasure.
“And that activates the laughter,” Wriothesley commented dryly as if Lyney hadn’t been laughing all along.
“AHAHAHH! Wahahait- NAHA -” Lyney jolted and arched his back, helpless to Wriothesley’s merciless tickle attack.
“Plea-ahaha nohoho! I cahahan’t breheheathe!” Wriothesley only nodded in response. When he clawed up and down Lyney’s ribs, the hysterical laughter dissolved into the cutest pitchy shrieks and squeals.
“AAAaahhh! Nohohoooo staahhaap!” Just a little more… He dug his fingers into Lyney’s torso again, his fingers wiggling mercilessly and -
“AHAH Wrioehehehe - IT HURTS !” Wriothesley froze, his hands stopping their assault on Lyney abruptly, and he looked at his face. He looked - ahem. Cute, erotic, but also… Angry. His face was flushed, tears were sparkling in his eyes, and his brows were furrowed.
“Finally - you - stopped. Wriothesley.”
Wriothesley leaned back and looked at him in surprise. “Did I go too far? Did it tickle too much?” he asked. Lyney weakly moved up and gasped for air. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
“Don’t talk to me,” he said before getting up on shaking legs and walking away. Wriothesley watched him go. Oh no. He always playfully tickled Lyney and he would never be this angry?
“Lyney come on, I was just playing,” he said, following after him and placing a hand on his shoulder, turning him around. To his surprise, Lyney suddenly took his own shirt and lifted it, almost as if he was flashing him to seduce him, but it was to make a point.
“Just playing? Do you see this? I’ve been asking you to stop all this time, and yet you went on. You’re always too rough and I've had it!”
Wriothesley saw the red marks on Lyney’s delicate skin and he shook his head.
“Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t realize - “ Lyney then showed him his arms, all red as well.
“Did I do that?” Wriothesley asked, perplexed, and he remembered pinning those arms down... Was it that rough? Lyney rolled his eyes and let out a frustrated grunt.
“Did you do that? Gee, I wonder who else has been pinning my arms and violated my whole body like I’m some sort of toy without feelings. It’s a miracle you didn’t crush me, Wrio. And you don’t listen so… Just leave me alone.”
Ouch.
Lyney went into the bathroom and before Wriothesley could say something, the door closed with a loud slam.
Oh no. He looked at his own hand and clenched it into a fist. Was he really that rough? He didn’t mean to hurt him. Of course he didn’t. It was just some playful tickling he thought. He was making Lyney laugh, he thought. They were having fun, he thought. Damn, he really hated himself for hurting the person he held so dear.
He waited until he heard the shower running and decided to put some effort into making up with Lyney. He rummaged into his storage and found some of the best and most valuable teas he had been saving for special moments. Well, this was a special moment… He needed Lyney to forgive him.
While Lyney showered, Wriothesley prepared the best quality tea for him, and put it on a tray together with a plate of Lyney’s favorite biscuits and some grapes.
When Lyney came out of the bathroom, dressed in one of Wriothesley’s oversized shirts - throb - Wriothesley gulped and quickly got up.
“Lyney, I’m so sorry. I made you some tea, it’s really good tea and should be a comfort to your eh, throat,” he said guiltily, realizing that Lyney must probably not only have a sore body, but a sore throat as well.
Lyney sat down on the couch and side-eyed him. He didn’t say a word, but judging from his attitude, he would accept the tea.
“Here,” Wriothesley said, handing him a cup. He was relieved when Lyney indeed accepted it and brought it to his lips. Wriothesley sat down next to him and waited awkwardly for him to drink it.
“Too bitter.”
Eh?! After just one taste, Lyney put down the tea and without even grabbing one of the biscuits, he got up again.
“Lyney wait,” he reacted, but Lyney shrugged and went to the bedroom. He closed the door behind him before Wriothesley could say anything. Argh. Wriothesley stared at the tea, then took it and gave it a taste.
It was fine, but… Ah right. He sighed. It was fine for him. Lyney liked his tea sweet. This was anything but sweet.
Wriothesley couldn’t believe he was ruining their weekend together. It wasn’t often that Lyney did not have performances to work on, and Wriothesley was busy with work almost 24/7.
Finally they were together for the whole weekend and he managed to piss Lyney off like this. Wonderful. At this rate, he was going to leave him. Wriothesley stared at his bedroom door and sighed. Well, he had work to do.
He gave it a second attempt. Lyney only deserved the bestest, sweetest tea in all of Teyvat. So Wriothesley again looked through his collection and found a tea kind from Mondstadt, made with Calla Lily which was known to not only be bitter but also sweet. If perfected with sugar and honey, it had to be to Lyney’s liking. While preparing the tea, Wriothesley started to realize how little he knew of Lyney’s preferences.
Or well, he did know about them, but how little he actually took them into consideration. Maybe that was how he ended up tickling Lyney until he was angry like this. To him, tickling was just some playful roughhousing, and maybe he didn’t know his own strength either... Oof, bad boyfriend behavior. He had to make it up to him.
“Hmm,” Wriothesley hummed, and he tasted the tea first. Oof, very sweet. He wasn’t a fan, but he was sure Lyney would like it. Satisfied, he knocked on the door and waited.
“Lyney, please. I remade the tea, can I come in?” It was his own bedroom, but right now Lyney was inside, so he had to be the gentleman he usually wasn’t…
“Fine,” Lyney said on the other side, so Wriothesley was glad to enter and found him on his bed, reading the book Aether had gotten him recently from Liyue.
Wriothesley put down the tray and gave him the tea. Lyney tasted it, and without a word, continued to drink.
“Is it good?” Wriothesley asked. Lyney nodded quietly.
“A-alright…” Wriothesley wasn’t sure what else to say or do. Maybe Lyney really wanted to be left alone now…
“Well, is there anything else I can get you?” Lyney shook his head. Oh.
“I see. Should I leave you alone?”
Lyney nodded again. Ah, that stung!
“Okay, I understand. Let me know if you need anything…” Wriothesley literally felt like a kicked dog as he left the bedroom again. Lyney liked the tea, which was good. But he was still angry. Surely he should’ve known a cup of nice tea wouldn’t make things magically better again.
So, he went out. By himself. Only to grant Lyney the time and space he needed, and of course, to visit some shops and buy some nice things to spoil him with. He found a cute plushie of a black cat and purchased it, then in the next store he also got Lyney a new mug, and a bag of sweets.
With these bags, he returned home. It was silent and Lyney couldn’t be seen, so without knocking he rushed into the bedroom, afraid that Lyney had already left.
“Ly- oh,” Wriothesley said, watching in surprise how Lyney was half naked. Lyney was just taking off his shirt, showing that sweet lovely skin Wriothesley loved to touch and tickle so much and - no! Bad Wriothesley!
“I’m sorry,” he apologized quickly, and he put down the bags.
“Are you going somewhere?” he asked. Lyney gave him a look. Oof, was he still that angry?!
“Some fresh air will do me good,” Lyney said. How mean. After Wriothesley just went out by himself. He sighed. Well, it wasn’t as if he invited Lyney to come with him…
“I got you something,” Wriothesley said, and he took the plushie out. It was wrapped in the prettiest wrapping paper, and he handed the gift to Lyney. Lyney stared at it.
“I don’t want it.”
Wriothesley almost fell backwards. “What do you mean?” he asked.
Lyney rolled his eyes. “I don’t want it. It’s not my birthday.” He continued dressing himself, and Wriothesley quickly got the other gifts out.
“I got you these too.” Like he feared, Lyney only eyed the gifts but didn’t bother unwrapping them.
“Nice. We can save them for my birthday.”
Wha-! Wriothesley dropped the bags and grabbed Lyney’s shoulders.
“Lyney, stop being like this. I didn’t mean to hurt you, I said I was sorry right? What else do you want me to do? How will you forgive me?”
Wriothesley asked. Lyney only stared back at him.
“I’ll do anything,” Wriothesley insisted. Ah, now there was some response. Lyney raised an eyebrow.
“Anything…?” he asked.
Wriothesley nodded. “Anything. Whatever you want,” he confirmed. Lyney hummed.
“So… If I say: I want you to let me tickle you, you will do it?”
Ah, it was still about tickling? Wriothesley nodded. “Of course!” If it was still about tickling, he should’ve just gone ahead and told Lyney he could tickle him back, if that was all he wanted! Stupid of him to not even think of that!
“For as long as I want to?” Lyney asked. Wriothesley nodded again.
“Sure!” It wasn’t as if he was super ticklish or anything. Lyney could tickle him however he pleased for as long as he liked.
“Good. I will teach you the difference between your technique and mine,” Lyney said. So, he was going to tickle him softly, was that it?
“Of course, go ahead!” Lyney appeared a little surprised that he agreed just like that. Perhaps a ticklish person like Lyney couldn’t comprehend that someone would submit so easily to a tickle torture on voluntary basis.
“Good. Then we will do it now.”
“Right now, wonderful. What do you want me to do, should I undress?” Wriothesley asked eagerly, relieved that this would also stop Lyney from leaving.
“Just your jacket,” Lyney commanded, so Wriothesley took off his jacket.
“And your pants,” Lyney added. Wriothesley had to fight the perverted thoughts coming in as he stripped while Lyney still gave him this cold stare. When he was just in his T-shirt and underwear, Wriothesley stood in front of him and spread his arms.
"All yours, baby,” he said jokingly. Lyney still hadn’t melted his ice, and he simply gestured that Wriothesley should move to the bed. So he climbed on his bed and went to lie down on his back.
“Like this?” he asked. Without answering, Lyney climbed on top of him and eventually straddled him.
“Hmhm. Comfortable?” Lyney asked, staring down at him. Even when angry, he was so considerate. Wriothesley only started to feel worse about treating Lyney so roughly…
“Yes, I’m fi-” Before Wriothesley could finish his answer, Lyney reached out and without warning scribbled his fingers against Wriothesley’s lower stomach.
“Hohaha,” Wriothesley let out a strange sound as the ticklish sensation surprised him. Lyney repeated the soft tickle, his fingertips fluttering against his abdomen. Despite wearing his shirt, he could feel the tingly sensations right through it, and he shuddered.
“Ohohoh w-we’re hehe stahaharting ahahalready hmhmhm?” he chuckled, surprised that he already felt the urge to laugh while Lyney barely used any pressure.
“Yes, so hold still,” Lyney said, using his other hand to wiggle his fingers against his side. Just softly, without digging in too much, but enough to tickle.
“Hnghh yehehes o-of couhourse,” Wriothesley giggled. How silly. The reflex to move his arms was really there already, but he didn’t want to be in Lyney’s way. Lyney’s touch was so soft and delicate, like Lyney himself. It suited him. His fingers scratched very softly, rubbing circles against Wriothesley’s sides and tummy and causing him to let out a stream of giggles he had preferred to hold back.
“Hehehehe ahahalright y-you’re quihiihite good ahaaht thiihis,” he laughed to encourage Lyney. It felt quite ticklish, but he wouldn’t call it torture. More like a massage that made him laugh. It actually felt pleasant.
“Ahhhahah!” Wriothesley jumped when Lyney’s fingers moved under his shirt. It felt entirely different to have those soft tickles on his bare skin, and he began to squirm.
“A-ahahare you ehehenjoying yoursehehelf?” he asked Lyney, but he didn’t get a response. Lyney’s fingers tickled their way up his ribs and paid thorough attention to them, scribbling and fluttering as if Wriothesley’s ribs were the magician’s new musical instrument. They then traveled to his bare tummy and spidered lightly, causing Wriothesley to jump a second time and - oops.
“Wrio?” Lyney asked in a warning tone when Wriothesley had grabbed Lyney’s wrist.
“Hehehe reflex, sorry about that,” Wriothesley giggled, and he put his arms back beside himself. He hesitated and then raised them above his head.
“I’ll - I’ll put them like this,” he said, and Lyney eyed him coldly.
“Good.” Wriothesley braced himself for the continuation of the tummy tickles, only for Lyney to suddenly reach for his exposed and vulnerable armpits.
“HYAh!” Wriothesley let out the most embarrassing sound and moved his arms down in an instant.
“It can’t tickle you this much, move your arms. I remember you telling me you’re not that ticklish at all, so it shouldn't be hard to keep your arms up,” Lyney said, wiggling his fingers gently against Wriothesley’s armpits despite his desperate attempts to defend them.
“Ahahaha I’m nohohot uhuhused to thihis!” Wriothesley laughed. He could remember it too; him telling Lyney confidently that he could try and tickle him back but that it would be no use, since he was not that ticklish. He then proceeded to tickle poor Lyney to tears. One of the many times… To think that Lyney put up with his apparent rough and ruthless tickle attacks for so long, and here Wriothesley was, already squirming and wriggling because of this very soft and gentle tickle session.
“Are you really going to keep moving your arms? I can’t tickle you properly,” Lyney complained when Wriothesley again moved his arms to cover up his most sensitive areas.
“If you can’t keep your hands away, I’m afraid I’ll have to use this.”
Wriothesley heard a familiar sound, and the next second he saw his very own handcuffs being twirled around by Lyney. He was sure he carried those handcuffs on him earlier as he went out, kind of a habit even on his day off. When did he…?
“Did you forget your boyfriend is a magician?” Lyney asked, judging the confused look on Wriothesley’s face.
“No I… I’m sorry.”
“Will you keep your hands out of the way, or do we cuff them?” Lyney proposed. Wriothesley shook his head.
“I’ll keep them out of the way. AHh-hehehe!” He was immediately laughing again and his hands shot forward to catch Lyney’s fingers that had tickled his hips all of a sudden.
“Y-you caught me off-guard!” Wriothesley whined, but Lyney shook his head and took the cuffs in his hands. He lifted himself off Wriothesley and flipped him over on his stomach. Just like that!
“We will do it like this,” he said, cuffing Wriothesley’s hands behind his back. Wriothesley wasn’t protesting but… he was also still processing the fact that Lyney was tying him up. He was going to tickle him while in a helpless state.
“That’s… Unfair. I never cuffed your hands when tickling you,” he tried to reason calmly.
“Did you ever need to? Besides, what’s so bad about handcuffs? I know how to free myself from them. I’m sure you can do it as well, no need to be a magician for that, not-so-ticklish Mr. Wriothesley,” Lyney lectured. Eep. Wriothesley blushed for getting himself into this position, and he wondered how he was going to endure this. His confidence had kind of faded...
He waited for Lyney to turn him back around, only to suddenly feel an unbearable ticklish sensation on his sides as Lyney had wriggled his fingers there so he could brush against his bare sides and tummy from behind.
“Nahhah! Hehehe-” Wriothesley laughed. Maybe this position was a blessing. He was anything but cool right now and wouldn’t want to face Lyney like this!
“Does that tickle?” Lyney teased.
“Yehehes! It does- hahahaa!” Wriothesley felt his laughter increase and increase even more, especially when Lyney’s fingers climbed back up his ribs again. He squirmed and struggled, but with his hands tied behind his back, he really was more helpless than he had ever been before.
And with those ticklish sensations intensifying…
“Lyehehe-Lyney! I’m reheheally sohohorry!” he apologized through uncontrollable giggles.
“Are you now?” Lyney sang. His fingers arrived at his armpits again and managed to find those sweet spots that made Wriothesley jump. He felt Lyney bounce on top of him, still straddling him, and more laughs and cackles left his lips.
“Eeehehehee! Dahahaamnh!” He wriggled from side to side. That tickled so bad! And still all this time, Lyney was only using minimal pressure. After tickling his armpits until Wriothesley’s voice got even louder, Lyney’s light tickles moved towards his neck. It was a spot Wriothesley hadn’t even tried on Lyney before since he’d just squeeze and claw at Lyney’s slender torso until he cackled, but he realized the neck could be rather sensitive with how much he was laughing and writhing.
“Nohohot thehehere!” he whined, moving his head from side to side. It was such a vulnerable spot, and Lyney skilfully trailed his fingers against the skin of his neck, under his chin, even his ears. Why did it tickle so much!
“Not here, really? Is this the spot?” he heard Lyney ask. Before he could process what happened, Lyney managed to flip him over on his back again with surprising strength for a guy so small. And finally Wriothesley could see his face again and… He was relieved to see him smile. He no longer had the cold aura around him. The look in his eyes was as soft and tender as his tickles were, and Wriothesley couldn’t help but blush and feel shy under his judging gaze all of a sudden.
“Plehehease,” he whined when Lyney’s fingers scribbled randomly at any spot they could find under his shirt. He arched his back and gasped.
“Please what?” Lyney asked, probably thinking he was going to beg him to stop the tickling.
“Kihihiss me,” Wriothesley giggled instead. He was so in need of that affection after seeing Lyney angry. Lyney smiled and leaned in.
“Ask again,” he said with a smirk, his fingers finding a really sensitive spot right at his waist and tickling it very softly with his nails.
“HNghehehhe! Kiss me,” Wriothesley moaned softly. Lyney finally closed the final distance between them and kissed him. Their lips moved together while Lyney’s fingers continued to explore the most sensitive places on his body. Which was... anywhere actually, Wriothesley learned. From his tummy to his sides, and he even moved his hands further and found a really sensitive spot on his lower back that made Wriothesley shudder when it was tickled with quick and soft little scribbles.
“AHhhaha not thehehere!” he laughed again, but Lyney shut him up with another kiss. Damn! Wriothesley’s entire body was on fire as he moaned, his giggles muffled while Lyney continued to kiss him more passionately.
They kissed and kissed, he laughed and giggled, and all of a sudden he heard a click. His hands were released from the handcuffs. He had no idea how his magical boyfriend did that so smoothly without him noticing, but he wasn’t going to ask.
Satisfied with his freedom, he immediately wrapped Lyney into his arms and kissed him as if his life depended on it. However even while kissing, he now remembered: soft. He didn’t need to pin him down or squeeze him firmly, or kiss him without a break until he couldn’t breathe. He shouldn’t hold him too tightly, he shouldn't do anything that might hurt him. He could take it slow and easy, and he realized that was how Lyney enjoyed it the most.
With Lyney still on top of him, they made out, and finally when they pulled apart, Wriothesley asked, just to be on the same page: “Are you still angry?”
Lyney smiled. “I was never angry.”
Wriothesley frowned. “Hm? You were very angry.”
“Wasn’t. How else was I going to let you submit to this?” Lyney asked, demonstrating by tickling Wriothesley’s cheek and neck softly. Wriothesley responded with a sudden giggle and he twitched.
“Buhuhut…” Before he could ask, Lyney kissed him again.
“You forgot again. Your boyfriend is a magician, but also a performer. I know how to act.”
“Really?”
“Of course I was a little irritated. You tickled me so much until it did hurt a little, and I was also embarrassed. But everything else was just me making sure this would happen,” Lyney admitted, and he tickled Wriothesley again.
“I cahan’t believe y-you hehehe,” Wriothesley laughed, but he couldn’t help but hug him tightly again. He loved his boyfriend so much, and everyday he would still learn new things about him.
“So... About those gifts…” Lyney finally said, and he looked at the bags.
“May I still receive them? I’m curious what they are.”
Wriothesley chuckled and shook his head. “Of course. They’re all yours baby.” And he watched fondly how Lyney jumped off the bed and rushed towards the bags with adorable excitement. Yeah, never a dull day with a ticklish and sneaky cheeky magician Fatui as his boyfriend. But Wriothesley wouldn’t trade him for anyone else!

[Epilogue]
“Ahahahah! Wrioheheh-Wriothesleheheey! Nohoho!” Lyney couldn’t stop giggling as Wriothesley lightly tickled his stomach and sides.
Hugging his newly gifted cat plushie tight didn’t give him any protection. The plushie even happened to be a nuisance when Wriothesley’s fingers found his underarms and brushed gently against the spots. Embracing the plushie, it was hard to move his arms, and Lyney kicked as a reflex. Of course that didn’t affect his huge boyfriend in the slightest.
“Hehehehe not thehehere! I cahahan’t mohohove!”
It was the morning after a long and lustful night during their weekend together, and Lyney was currently facing Wriothesley’s wrath and revenge for tricking him the previous day. Well, it did result in something. He now tickled him with so much care, softness and tenderness. In a way it felt even more ticklish than ever. It felt better.
“Do you want me to stop? Just say the word.”
Ah, they had also officially introduced a safeword now: “Nehehever!” Alright, that wasn’t the actual safeword. No way would Lyney surrender now. But, the safeword was ‘jellyfish’. Just a random word they came up with together during their heated night together, but with the way Wriothesley was indulging him right now, Lyney doubted he should ever use it.
“Alright, then I’ll continue tickling you just as I please~”
Wriothesley sounded so happy and content that Lyney couldn’t help but feel that his little act really paid off. Just another improvement in his remarkable romance with the Lord of the Fortress of Meropide!

After winning the trial thanks to Paimon and Traveler's help, Lyney and Lynette had headed home. As they made it towards home, they couldn't help but feel slightly worried for Ferminet, after all, the poor guy had rather bad anxiety.
After a long trip, and the amount of people riding the aquabus, having to rudely barge through them like a stampede, and the rain from the previous trial almost making them slip in each turn, the two eventually made it back home. Lynette had opened the door using their spare key's, and the two finally set foot inside.
They were met with silence, as Ferminet was, as usual, in his room, looking out the window as he snuggled up against his penguin toy. The two had to hold back an awe before being met with a pout.
"What took you two so long?" He asked, not budging from his position on the bed at all, as Lyney searched for word's.
"Ferminet, we know you're upset, but it really is a misunderstanding." Lyney said, Lynette nodding beside him. They both walked closer to him. "May we?"
Ferminet gave them each a glance before nodding, as the two climbed atop his bed on each side of him, wrapping warm, yet soaking appendages, around him. Ferminet shivered from the wet touch, yet leaned into them anyways, having missed them for what felt like an eternity.
"The Traveler and Paimon told me everything, so don't worry, I'm not that mad." He mumbled, making Lyney sigh aloud, resting his head ontop on Ferminet's, making him look at the two.
"Oh? But you're still mad?" Lyney asked, and as soon as Ferminet nodded, Lyney exchanged a mischievous glance towards his twin sister, who immediately got the message, and coiled their arm's around him slightly tighter, making sure he was still cozy.
"Oh Ferminet, you know we can't accept that! Now, give your big brother a big, wide smile!" He asked, smiling widely himself, however, when Ferminet ever so rudely ignored him, Lyney took action. "Fine, the hard way it is."
And with that, the elder nrother started, his finger trailing up and down the younger's back, dancing underneath his shoulder blades and trailing down his spine. "I have a new magic trick, and it'll make that frown - disappear into thin air!"
At Lyney's teasing, Ferminet's cheeks flushed a rosy red, yet he refused to give in so easily, which both Lyney and Lynette knew would happen, causing Lyney to use two daring finger's. What became two quickly became three, and what became three became four, until five finger's were gently fluttering the younger's back, making their way towards his ribs.
"My dear assistant, would you be ever so kind to keep count with me? After all, our dear Ferminet's ribs must be all over the place from how hard he's trying to keep that adorable pout in line!" Lyney keot up his teasing, his both sets of hands rested at his lower ribs. Ferminet's eyes opened up even wider, as his hands went to grab Lyney's, only to be stopped at Lynette caught hold of his wrists, holding his wrists slightly over his head.
"Sure." Lynette said plainly, yet her tone showed amusement. Lyney went right back into character as his thumbs wiggled over each rib.
"1.. 2.. 3.. 4.." The two counted, and at each wiggle against his ribcage, Ferminet ended up wriggling himself, that pout being replaced with that awfully adorable yet wobbly grin. His rosy cheeks popping out his sprinkled over freckles, as he shook his head slightly.
"9.. Uh oh, I seem to not recall my last number, what about you, dear sister?"
"No, I cannot remember either, do you, Ferminet?"
Ferminet could only whine as they teased him, after all, they all know how bad it was for him whenever they started heading towards the peak, his upper most ribs being more sensitive then his lower one's. "It's five! Count from five!" He spoke out.
Lyney smiled, "Aww, so you were counting with us? I didn't think you'd be the type to play along, even when you're already so sensitive! Kitchi-kitchi-koo!~" The magician chippered at his teases, giggling mischievously as he darted towards his highest set of ribs, thumbs gently massaging at the bundle of nerves.
Ferminet's eyes shut tightly, as his face contorted into an extra wide grin, laughter spilling out for the first time during this entire session, Lyney, and even Lynette, giggled alongside him, as the younger squirmed under their touch.
"L-Lynehehehey! Plehease, nohot thehehere! Mohove spohohots, plehease!" The diver helplessly curled up, legs kicking slightly, he almost hit Lyney, but he swiftly avoided the unintentional attack.
"Opting to hurt me now, are we? Fine, I'll move spots, I'll almost change my positioning!" The magician smiled, before moving himself so he was sitting on Ferminet's waist, he made sure both himself and Ferminet was comfortable, and as the diver showed no discomfort, he gently petted his head, assuring him he was okay.
"If it's too much, just shout 'stop' alright?" Lynette reminded, Ferminet nodding slightly. Lyney looked at the younger brother and thought, wondering if he should get this over with, after a bit of contemplation, he opted for his first toughts, as his hands hovered over the younger. His hands hovered between his hips and sides, being Ferminet's weakspot, as he finally descended down.
Ferminet's breath hitched, yet his smile widdened, despite Lyney's hand just resting on the spot, a large smirk enlaced his features. "My final trick is quite the tricky, I like to call it.. hm, I don't quite know, lets say a magician's trick, hm?" He winked, before taking his gloves off, and finally ending it all.
His fingers wriggled up and down, darting from his hips to his sides, making the younger buck and scream, his face hiding into the sleeves of his arm to not make so much noise. Lyney was skilled, persistent, as his gentle fingertips danced across these two spots rhythmically. While he wasn't paying attention, his arms were finally released, as Lynette joined in on the fun, her manicured nails gently teasing the side's of his neck and even scribbling under his chin. The younger kept his arms in place, this time over his chest, as his troso wriggled and his legs kicked behind Lyney.
"WahaAHAIT! NOHOT THAT! Lynehehette! NohoHo! AhahAHAHA! LYHEHENY!" He yelled at the two, as they both traded smiles.
"Oh? You're keeping your hands to yourself? How cute! Our little diver has some restraint~" Lyney smiled, giggling as Ferminet shoved at him weakly, only to shriek as Lyney kneaded between his hips and sides permanently, making the younger cackle his hardest yet.
"EHEK! WAHAHAIT! NOHOHO MOHORE! STOHOP!"
And with that word, both stopped immediately, arm's wrapping around him with a warm embrace, the magician chuckling.
"Awe, did you enjoy that?" Lyney smiled, only to hold his own chest as Ferminet nodded, giggles still spilling.
"So, you forgive us yet?" Lynette asked, her hand rubbing against his back, as Lyney just hugged him close, looking up at Ferminet with puppy dog eye's.
"Ugh.. fine." He smiled, giggling as Lyney cheered. "Now.. please take a shower, you'll both get sick."
And with that, the three decided to huddle up and snuggle until they all fell asleep, their apology accepted, yet definitely going to be given back tenfold someday.

TickleTober2023/Day 09 - Mirrors
Genshin Impact - Lyney x Aether
Tumblr media
Aether held the small mirror in his hands, looking down to peek at his own reflection while Lyney and Lynette decided something about how they should place everything on stage. He wasn’t sure why the twins asked for his help instead of Freminet’s, but the latter probably found a good excuse to avoid taking part in their rehearsal.
At that point, he wasn’t exactly sure why the twins would need his help, but it was not like he minded tagging along - especially if it meant being around the best magician in all Teyvat for a couple more minutes.
“Distracted by your image, traveler?” Lyney muttered close to his ear, making Aether almost drop the mirror as he jumped in his place, startled by the other’s presence all of the sudden. “I don’t judge , I could spend all day looking at you as well,” he added, moving his hands over the traveler’s arms and helping him hold the mirror, lifting it a bit so both of them could be reflected by it.
“You- sigh, you scared me, don’t sneak up on me like that, I could’ve hurt you,” Aether pouted, turning his eyes back to the mirror to see Lyney smiling behind him.
“Worrying about me?” He teased, looking down to the mirror in their hands and spotting a frown taking place in the traveler’s face, followed by his eyes rolling. The magician grinned, leaning his face a little closer to Aether’s. “Come on, I was just playing around… we can’t have you wasting your handsome smile like that, can we?”
Before Aether could understand the meaning of those words, Lyney dragged his hands across his arms, sneaking them under his arms and prodding at the sensitive spot. The traveler squealed in surprise, giggles began to pour out of his lips as his hands tightened the grip around the small mirror - which was now reflecting his wide smile.
“L-Lynehehey! AhAHAH, q-quihihit it!” He pleaded, pressing his elbows down against his sides as he felt the magician’s fingers poking and wiggling into his underarm and ribs.
Lyney grinned along, pulling Aether into a tight hug and resting his head on his shoulder. Getting a good glance over the mirror in the traveler’s hands, Lyney managed to see how much he was smiling. “Mhm, you look even prettier smiling like this and- oh, are you blushing, traveler?”
Pressing his eyes shut, Aether tried his best efforts to escape the ticklish embrace, but it was all with no avail. “Stohohop tahaAHAhalking!!”
Fearing he would drop the mirror that should be part of the twin’s performance at any moment, he attempted to get down to his knees, but only managed to be followed to the ground by Lyney, who was now digging into his exposed sides. “E-enohOHough! AhAHA, plehehease!”
The magician, however, didn’t seem to care much about his request, taking one of his hands to the middle of Aether’s stomach, circling his navel. “What? No way, traveler ~ Seeing you smile in person is a waaay better than looking at your reflection. You don’t expect me to lose such a sight, right?”
Aether blushed at Lyney’s flirts, groaning through his laughter since it was all he could do to protest against the cheesy comments. That damned magician, if he only wasn’t so charming…
Tumblr media
A/N: Sooo, this was actually planned to be a ler!Aether fic to go along with the rest, buuuut I couldn't resist of the idea of Lyney flirting with him along the way, so here we are. Hope you guys enjoyed it ~

lullabies
(lyney, freminet)
summary: tickling isn't always a weakness.
a/n: alr this one got kinda hurt/comfort-y. i wouldn't say it's angst though just know fremi is kinda sad through the whole thing lol
[this is a sfw tickle fic!]
・・・・・・・・・・・・
Freminet often feels detached from the world.
It’s all he knows how to be. In the House of the Hearth, there’s no room for error. He has to be strong. He can’t have any weaknesses.
(He does. He has lots of them. He cries when it rains sometimes, he freezes under extreme pressure. He’s just a pathetic child, deep down.)
So he’s built up walls, so many, too many for even him to count, and even if someone, somehow, manages to break through one, they aren’t even close to knowing him. He likes it that way. He hates when attention is on him. He doesn’t want to be known.
(Yes he does. He’s so, so lonely.)
He’s not weak. How can he be, with so much protection?
(He whispers those words to himself late at night, trying to convince whoever may be listening.)
But when he’s underwater, things feel a little less overwhelming. He can forget about it all, even if just for a few minutes. The creatures down there don’t want to hurt him. They aren’t going to abandon him.
(And yet Father is still here, and Lyney and Lynette. He’s slowly starting to wonder if, maybe, they mean it when they say they’ll stay. After all, they’ve gotten past most of his meticulously crafted walls. Someone who doesn’t care wouldn’t spend all that effort on him, would they?)
Freminet is on the couch one gloomy day, watching Pers toddle around the room, when Lyney suddenly sits beside him, throwing his arms around his shoulders.
“What’s wrong, dear Freminet?” is all he asks.
Freminet hums, closing his eyes. He feels himself beginning to lean into the touch, but he quickly stops himself. “...I’m fine,” he says.
Lyney sighs. “Come on, there’s no use lying. I can see right through you.”
“Nothing’s wrong.” It’s mostly true. It’s not that nothing is wrong, it’s just that he doesn’t know what’s wrong. He gets days like this a lot.
“Cheer up,” Lyney says with a poke to his side, seemingly realising he won’t get any answers. Freminet flinches, tensing up. “Oh?”
Freminet blinks up at his older brother, confused. Lyney pokes him again, as if that explains anything. Freminet jumps again.
Ah. He sees where this is going.
“Freminet,” Lyney starts, a smile growing on his face. “Are you ticklish?”
“No,” answers Freminet immediately.
More fingers start prodding at his sides, making Freminet squirm almost uncomfortably. “Are you sure—”
“I’m not ticklish,” Freminet says, a bit more forcefully than he had intended, then shrinks in on himself.
Lyney blinks. “O-oh,” he says, and Freminet feels a twinge of pride at knowing he’s managed to make Lyney stutter. “My apologies, I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable.”
Freminet stares down at his hands in his lap. “I’m not weak,” he mumbles, not looking up.
“Hm?” Lyney tilts his head, as though he hadn’t heard correctly.
Freminet squeezes his eyes shut. “It’s a weakness. I…don’t like it. I’m not weak.”
He knows it’s a silly thing to say, especially knowing that Lyney himself is ticklish, too. The difference, though, is that Lyney is so much stronger, it hardly has any effect on his skill. But Freminet…
He’s not strong enough. He can’t afford something as childish as being ticklish.
(He feels even more embarrassed about it knowing that this is Lyney, the same person who has read him fairytales and acted out sappy bedtime stories for him; things that are arguably more childish.)
Ugh. He wants to put his diving helmet on and hide for days.
“Freminet,” Lyney begins, sounding a bit amused. It only makes Freminet want to hide even more. “Being ticklish doesn’t make you weak. It’s fun, between people who care about each other.”
Freminet knows he’s right, but still…
“I won’t tickle you if you don’t want me to,” Lyney continues, “but please, don’t say things like that. You’re not weak, alright?”
Freminet is quiet for a long time. Lyney stays put the whole time.
“...Is it really fun?” Freminet asks finally, in such a tiny voice that he’s surprised Lyney can understand it.
His brother laughs. “I suppose, for some people. It depends who you ask, I guess.”
Freminet thinks to when he was younger — to when his mother would tickle him on occasion, to when he would watch his friends get into tickle fights and how he would smile along with them even though they weren’t touching him. He thinks about watching Lyney and Lynette tickle each other, and suddenly the gloominess in his chest is replaced by longing, so strong it’s almost painful.
“Okay,” he whispers. “You can. Tickle me. If you want.”
He regrets those words as soon as they leave his mouth — what if Lyney doesn’t want to? What if he just laughs and walks away? What if—
All his worries are cut off by fingers crawling across his stomach over his shirt, and he doesn’t have time to think before he’s choking back giggles.
“It’s okay,” Lyney teases. “You can laugh.”
So he does. It’s been so long that Freminet himself forgot what it sounded like. He squeaks as Lyney’s hand travels along his stomach, then suddenly dances along his sides up to his ribs, making him burst into a fit of proper laughter.
Lyney coos. “I can’t believe you’ve been hiding this from me all this time! You really do need to laugh more, Freminet, it’s so cute.”
“B-behe quihihiet,” Freminet whines, covering his blushing face with his hands. He squirms, moving closer to Lyney as he does. “Wait, wahahait, wait!”
Lyney stops, one hand resting on his side and the other on his ribs. “Yes?”
“Ihit tickles,” Freminet chokes out.
“Do you want me to stop?” Lyney’s fingertips press into his skin gently, making him squeal.
Still…
“...No.”
For the first time in a long time, Freminet feels like he’s in his own body again.

Don't be shy!
Tumblr media
A/N: I wrote this at 6am after just waking up. Just a small drabble, so sorry if it isn't that good! Freminet is my favourite genshin character already. I relate to him so bad and he's so cute ;-; anyways, I hope you enjoy it! Reblogs are always appreciated <3
(NOT A SHIP POST!)
"Come now, Freminet~"
The magician's cooing voice barely penetrated the noise-cancelling effects of Freminet's helmet, and his teasing tone of voice most certainly wasn't convincing him to take it off.
"Let me see that smile. Just a little one! I know you have it in you."
Lyney had been teasing his little brother all day. Pinching his cheeks, calling him cute, and poking at him to make him smile. It was that last thing that had caused Freminet to put up his helmet, hiding himself from the evil, flustering clutches of his older brother. But of course — that alone didn't dissuade Lyney from doing what a brother does best.
Lyney started to prod at Freminet's tummy, and the diver immediately tried to defend himself by curling up. But all that did was cause Lyney's offending fingers to switch to tickling the boy's side. "Tickle tickle!~" He cooed, finding a way under Freminet's jacket to skitter his nails along his skin directly. He could hear his little brother's giggles, however muffled by the helmet. "Does it tickle, Freminet? Oooh, I can imagine the cute little smile you must have now. Your cheeks would be bright pink, and you'd have those adorable little dimples..."
"Lyneeehey..." A whine rang out from Freminet. The front screen on his helmet had changed now, showing a pixelated depiction of a laughing face. The irony of Freminet's own helmet he'd put up for defence giving him away using its facial recognition made Lyney smile.
"Yes, my dear brother?" Lyney's hands wandered over to Freminet's tummy again, scribbling and pinching at the slightly pudgy skin. His squirming increased in intensity and he latched onto Lyney's wrists, but made no effort to push him away. "I'll keep tickle-tickle-tickling you until you show me your face."
Another whine sounded and Lyney started to circle Freminet's navel, taking his sweet time tickling the skin around it as the Diver started to panic upon realising where he was going. "Lyhyney!"
"Hmm? Did you say something? I'm afraid I can't hear you with that helmet up~"
After another moment of slow circles around Freminet's bellybutton, the boy reached up, his arms trembling slightly as he took off the helmet, sliding it off of his head and letting it drop next to him. And with that, his face was on full display.
"There he is!" Lyney chuckled, ceasing the tickling in favour of cupping Freminet's cheeks in his hands and peppering kisses all over the boy's face. "The cutest little brother in all of Fontaine... Aren't you just so precious?~"
Freminet could feel his already warm face heat up even more in the wake of even more teasing from Lyney. "A-ahare you happy now...?"
"Very." The magician nodded, nuzzling their noses together, eliciting a giggle from the both of them. But then out of nowhere, the circling around Freminet's navel started again.
"Ahah—! W-wait! I-Ihi ahahalready shohowed you my fahace!!"
"Mhm. You did, and I'm so proud of you, little brother. But now, I want to see what kind of face you make when I do this~"
"NohoOHOHAHA! N-NOHohot theHEHERE!"
"So cute. You like it here, hm? Riiiiight here? Maybe I'll stay in this spot for a looong time, then...~"

Freminet x Lyney (PLATONIC)
Lee: Freminet
Ler: Lyney
Warnings: Tickles!
___________________________________________
Anyone would be surprised to see Freminet zooming so swiftly across his home, but when the stakes where this high anything was possible.
“Fremineeeet~ Come out, come out wherever you are~” Lyney spoke in a sing-song voice as he stepped into his brother’s room, searching as to where the blonde could’ve hidden at. Or atleast pretending to, as his big brother, Lyney already knew all of his go-to hiding spots when it came to these sorts of games.
Freminet held in a shaky breath, covering his mouth behind his hands, quietly observing Lyney walk by from under his bed.
“Well I guess he isn’t here…~” Lyney’s voice became fainter and the door closed, signaling that he was gone. Freminet let out a sigh of relief, making his way out, until…
“Gotcha~”
When he looked up, Lyney was seated on top of his bed, looking down at him with a playful grin. Causing Freminet to gulp out of instinct.
“No!” his fight or flight reaction kicked in, trying to scurry away but it was too late. Lyney managed to quickly pull him up, pinning him down on his bed.
“Now where do you think you’re going? You should know better than to hide from the tickle monster~” Lyney’s grin turn into a mischevious smirk, as he started to wiggle his fingers just above Freminet’s tummy, barely ghosting over the sensitive skin.
“W-wahahait! Dohon’t you wanna hear about romaritime flowers and- and hat jellyfiHIHISH?!” Freminet’s words fell deaf as Lyney’s fingers finally reached their destination. Gently wiggling all over the soft flesh of his midsection. “WAHAHA! LYNEY NO! WAIT! PFFTAHAHAHA!”
“Aww! Look at you go, little brother! You can barely even talk when I go tickle tickle tickle~ on your cute tummy~”
“Now y’know what they say, every good magician needs a grand finale~”
Freminet let out a flustered squeal, his pale complexion quickly turning as bright as Lyney’s pyro vision.
"Haha! A tickle under here~ And a tickle under there~!" the magician spoke playfully as he struck under Freminet's armpits with each teasing phrase, sending his little brother further down into hysterics.
"NAHAHAHAO! N-NOHOHO TEASING! LYNEY- PLEHEHEASE!" the freckled boy's eyes were shut tight, as if that somehow would make the ticklish feeling go away. If anything, it just made him more susceptible to it, not knowing what his brother would do next. Then again, he could never tell what Lyney's next move would be.
Freminet let out an audible gulp at that. His eyes widened in fear and yet excitement at what Lyney could have in store for him, but whatever it was, it could only be 'torturous' for him.
The magician cracked his fingers and loosened his muscles, as if this were his greatest trick yet. He then pulled up Freminet’s shirt and sucked in as much air as he could hold, before leaning down and releasing the mother of raspberries on poor Freminet’s tummy.
“WAH! PSHHH! AHAHAHAHA! IHIHIT TICKLES SO BAHAHAD!” the introvert cried out the obvious through bouts of laughter. He couldn’t help but throw his head back, his wide smile open for everyone to see.
Once the torment was done, Lyney pulled back, wearing a satisfied smirk on his face. “Thank you one and all!~” Lyney bowed down to an imaginary audience, as Fremimet was still too busy giggling and gasping for breath to even get up.
“I hope you had fun, little brother. I know I sure did~” Lyney teased, leaning down to playfully boop his brother’s redenned nose.
Fremimet let out a small, flustered grumble. Hiding his nose with his hands. “I-it… yeah, I did…” he eventually admitted shyly, letting out a coy smile.
“Then my job here is done!” Lyney flipped his cape dramatically before exiting out of the room, leaving a giddy Freminet to reminiscence of what just happened.

Shy
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Freminet’s mood hasn’t been the best lately, so he goes to his older brother, expecting the usual list of errands Lyney makes him run, but Lyney has different plans.
Lee!Freminet / Ler!Lyney (platonic/familial)
Tumblr media
Freminet’s fingers tapped the window softly as he watched the raindrops trickle down. Nothing made him feel as gloomy as a rain storm did. Usually, when bad memories came back to him, he would busy himself with tasks for his siblings, or spending time with the Tidalga deep down Fontaine’s sea. But it was getting dark, and diving in the dark is dangerous, even for a professional like Freminet, and Lyney and Lynette weren't home yet, probably busy entertaining children somewhere in the Court of Fontaine.
Freminet let out a soft sigh, turning the key on his clockwork penguin, Pers', back. A clicking sound was heard, and soon his little feet began moving upside down. Freminet smiled, and placed his friend down in the window sill before him.
"At least you're here with me, Pers," he said under his breath. Just as he started thinking of ways to upgrade Pers' clockwork system, he heard the front door click. Freminet took Pers back into his lap, and looked at the doorframe to the living area expectantly. Soon, he heard his brother's voice. "I'm home, Fremi! Are you here?"
"I'm here, Lyney," Freminet said, just loud enough for Lyney to hear from the hallway. Although he was bored a moment ago, he immediately missed the peace and quiet from before every time his brother spoke. Don't misunderstand, Freminet loved Lyney lots, it was just hard to get used to the way his voice and energy lit up any room he entered, even after all those years. "Little brother! What a nice surprise, I suspected you'd still be diving around this time," Lyney said, placing his hat on a table.
Freminet didn't say anything, but he shook his head no, opting to staring out the window again. By the way his eyebrows were furrowed in the slightest, and his eyes looked gloomier then usual, Lyney could tell something was bothering his younger brother. His head tilted, and he sat down on the couch next to him. Freminet didn't react to the cushion shifting. Instead, he looked down at his hands, and at Pers. "What's the matter, Fremi? You're not usually this quiet. You'd be telling me all about the otters and the aberrants by now. Is it the rain?" Lyney asked, his voice soft, full with love and care, which is how he usually talked to his little brother.
Freminet shrugged. "I guess. I would've liked to stay out longer today, but it started to rain as soon as I went out to dive. So I stayed in today." Lyney didn't say anything, giving Freminet the space to continue talking, even though he didn't want to. But the silence was worse, so he decided to just be open about his feelings to his brother. "I've been thinking of... the past, as well. It's hard not to when I have nothing else to keep my mind occupated with."
Lyney nodded in understanding. The magician was great at concealing his feelings with his extroverted facade, unlike Freminet. But deep down, he struggled with memories of his past of betrayal as well. "Then we'll have to distract you, won't we? It's no good to dwell on the past, Fremi," Lyney said, back to his usual cheerful self. Freminet looked up at him. "You're gonna give me a task? I'll do it, even though it's raining..."
Lyney chuckled. "I wouldn't send you out into the rain like that, little brother." Freminet's head tilted. "No, Lynette's already getting all the groceries we need for dinner. I have an even better idea!" Freminet jumped when he suddenly felt his brother's hands latch onto his sides, gently. "L-Lyney-!" he called, unable to think of anything to say to change his brother's mind. This hadn't been the first time Lyney had used this method to cheer Freminet's mood up, and though Freminet would never admit it, it usually worked.
"It's been a while since I've seen you smile, Fremi, I think it's about time~!" Lyney sang, teasing by tapping his fingers against his little brother's sides repeatedly. This made Freminet squirm, nervous shivers running through his body. "You don't have to, Lyney, I f-feel fine!" he protested, trying his absolute hardest to keep his facial expression stoic, but failing when Lyney pushed him against the side of the couch and poked his stomach a few times. A slight smile crept up on his face, and he quickly snatched a pillow to hide his face into. Lyney laughed. Whether it be a pillow, his hands, or Pers, Freminet would always find a way to hide his face from Lyney's eyes. "P-Please..", Freminet said, his voice shaky from held back giggles.
"If anything, you were asking for it Fremi, looking so sad, staring out the window like that... I couldn't just not tickle you!" As soon as Lyney said that, his fingers started spidering all over Freminet's tummy. Soon, giggles were heard from behind the pillow, and Freminet squirmed underneath Lyney. His hands determinedly stayed on the pillow covering his face. "Cut it ohohout Lynehehey!" Freminet said through his giggles. "Cut it out? But I've only just started! After all, I still haven't seen your smile Fremi! Maybe I should tickle you some more, hm?"
"Nohohohoo~!"
Lyney chuckled. Ignoring his little brother's pleas, his hands moved to Freminet's sides, where they squeezed over and over again until the diver's body was moving side to side, trying and failing to avoid the magician's fingers. At this point, Freminet's arms started twitching, his body telling him to push his brother away or cover his waist with his arms, while his mind was telling him to keep the pillow in place. Just thinking about his brother indulging in the look on Freminet's face while he was being tickled to death made his cheeks turn as pink as a marcotte flower. Lyney noticed this of course, as he had every other time Freminet needed cheering up in this way. He knew exactly how to make the boy give in, and he would get to it eventually. First, he just wanted him to have fun.
"Come on Fremi, show me that pretty smile of yours~" Lyney plead, momentarily reducing his tickling to occasional pokes to Freminet's sides. "N-Never, it's too embarassing..." the diver stammered, slightly peeking over the pillow to look at his brother. His disheveled made Lyney laugh softly. "Alright then, I guess I'll have to change it up once again..."
"Cohohom on!" Freminet giggled, even though Lyney hadn't really started yet, he knew exactly what was coming. Lyney simply smirked as his hands moved up to Freminet's ribs, all ten of his fingers digging in, prodding and poking and counting every single rib.
"L-Lynehehey I- Pleahahase!" Freminet laughed, his arms shaking now. His body twisted, doing anything he could to keep the tickly sensations to a minimum, but it was no use. "What will you do, Fremi~? I'm not gonna stop!" Lyney sang.
It didn't take very long for Freminet to give in. He had good endurance, but when Lyney attacked one of his worst spots like that... There was no way he would've been able to hold his arms up for any longer. His hands flailed, trying to protect his own body and trying to push Lyney's hands away both at once. His squirming soon made the pillow fall off his face, revealing a bright smile, accompanied by a fuly pink face, slight tears dwelling up in the corners of Freminet's eyes. "I f-feel behehetter! Please, enohohough!" Freminet begged through his laughs. Lyney couldn't help but smile himself as well. It felt amazing seeing his little brother laugh and smile again, so much that he almost forgot he had completed his goal of seeing Freminet smile and kept tickling him for a bit longer than necessary. He stopped before Freminet would actually cry from being tickled too much, though the diver wouldn't stop giggling for a minute or two after.
"T-that.. was so.. unnecessary!" Freminet complained, glaring at his brother. Lyney laughed. "No need to hide your true feelings, Fremi, I've known you long enough to know you loved it~" Lyney winked, gently combed his fingers through Freminet's hair for a second to undo the mess the squirming made. Freminet blushed, not saying a thing, though he tried to hide a small smile behind his hand. Soon the front door clicked again, and Lynette's voice was heard through the house. Lyney left the living room to make dinner, and Freminet looked down at Pers, who was lying abandoned on the living room floor.
"Sorry, Pers..."

A Sleepy, Ticklish Aether
Summary: A sleepy Aether is a very needy, ticklish Aether and Xiao and Lyney take notice.
A/N: This takes place post-cooking for Lyney in the 4.4 cooking event. The animations for Aether and Lumine cooking are so cute! Xiao has softened up in this one and is quite a tease. Wonder where he learned it from 🤔. Anyway, hope you enjoy this one; happy reading!
Word Count: 1615
Aether yawned as the fatigue of nonstop cooking at Wangshu Inn started to catch up to him. Paimon had it worse as she was sleep talking, so Aether sent her to their room. Wanting to close his eyes and feel the cool breeze on his cheeks, he made his way up the stairs to the top balcony.
“Yawn. I'm so tired. I wish Xiao was up here. I wonder where Lyney- oof!”
Aether collided with someone making him rub his eyes and start to apologize before his eyes widened when he realized who he bumped into.
“L-Lyney?”
“Oh! It's you, my golden ball of sunshine. Though…” Lyney took a double take at Aether’s facial expression. “You look exhausted.”
“Yeah. Yawn. I am. Yawn. Long day…”
Aether suddenly stumbled forward as his eyes drooped. Lyney caught him with a concerned expression on his face.
“Hey. Let’s get you to bed now, okay?”
Lyney squished Aether’s cheek with his hand before he carried him bridal style.
“Heyyy,” Aether pouted, weakly batting at Lyney’s arms.
Lyney smiled fondly at him and gave him a peck on the forehead.
“You are so cute, you know that?”
“No, I’m not.”
“Yes, you are.”
“No.”
“Yes.”
“Ahem.”
Both Lyney and Aether jolted at the sound of another voice as they tightened their grip around each other and looked towards the source of said voice.
“Oh. Sorry for scaring you both.”
Xiao stood before them with a red hue on his ears.
“Xiao! You are here!”
Aether sent Xiao a sleepy grin that made his heart melt and face heat up, the red tinge on his ears intensifying.
“Oh? Is the Yaksha blushing,” Lyney teased.
“Shut up. You can’t tell me that you aren’t affected by that. Even Wanderer isn’t immune to that.”
“What are you guys talking about? I’m just being me,” Aether said, confused.
Xiao and Lyney looked at each other before looking back at him with soft looks in their eyes.
“And that’s why we love you,” they said at the same time.
“You are just so cute for all of us,” Lyney added. “Especially for him.”
Lyney wiggled his eyebrows at Xiao who just rolled his eyes and started lightly tickling Lyney’s sides.
“I believe you were the one that was down bad for Aether when you first laid eyes on him.”
“Xiahohoho!” Lyney giggled, wiggling side to side as Aether tightened his grip around him. “Nohohohot truhuhuhue! Wait! Wahahahait! I’m gohohoing to drop Aehehehether!” He squeaked when Xiao tickled a particularly sensitive spot.
A proud smile crossed Xiao’s face. “That was for your teasing. Now come over here.”
Lyney hesitantly walked over to Xiao, giggling all the way as the tickle sensations lingered. Xiao wiggled his fingers teasingly as a small smirk appeared on his face.
“Hehehey! Whehehen dihihid yohuhu becohohome a tehehehease?!”
“I learn from the best,” Xiao said, looking towards Aether then him.
As the two continued to talk, Aether stared at Xiao's hands, mesmerized by his fingers. Their voices faded away and he imagined being teased into oblivion by both his boyfriends. Fingertips that gently graze against his side as they keep him on edge and giggling as they pepper him with kisses.
“I wanna be tickled so bad now. Please wreck meheheheeeee.”
Aether whined, burying his face into Lyney's chest before he realized that his chest feels more defined than before. He let go of who he was hugging and looked up to find a surprised looking Xiao whose expression was slowly morphing into a smirk.
“X-Xiao!?”
“What got you so whiney, sunshine?~” a deep, teasy voice sounded right against his ear as arms wrapped around him, trapping him.
He let out surprised giggles as the vibrations and breath of who he knows to be Lyney sent ticklish sensations throughout his body.
Being squished in between his boyfriends, in which he knows to be Xiao's room and bed, Aether can't help but feel more ticklish.
Xiao whispered in his other ear. “What were you thinking to not notice me teleport to my room, hmm? Was it this?” he raised his hands again and wiggled them right in front of Aether’s eyes making him shiver and hold back his giggles as he shook his head defiantly and scoot backwards only to bump into Lyney's chest.
“Are you surrree?” Lyney teased, his smirk audible. He tightened his grip around Aether as he made him look on at Xiao's wiggling digits as they slowly descended.
“I-ihihihi hahahave no idehehea whahahat you arehehe tahahalking abohohout,” Aether giggled.
He raised his hands up to prevent Xiao from touching him, but Lyney with surprising ease raised both his arms and hugged his middle tightly.
“Nu uh uh~ Come on. Tell us what you were thinking.”
“Ihihihi hahahave nothihihihng to- hehehehe sahahahay!”
Aether felt vulnerable as his body was stretched taut, his nerves on edge.
“Youhuhuhu wohohohn’t geheheht ihihihit out of mehehe! Eep!”
“Oh? So, you did have something on your mind.”
Xiao's fingers landed on Aether's belly, but never moved, much to his dismay.
“We have all night, baby,” Xiao teased.
In a different situation, Aether would be proud of him for being such a tease but being on the receiving end made him arch into his touch and whine.
Xiao just raised his hands to avoid grazing his stomach, not giving him satisfaction.
“Plehehehease! Xiahohoho!” Aether begged.
Xiao and Lyney hadn’t seen their lover be this needy before, but they had no complaints as they continued, loving this side of him.
“Please what?”
To add to his predicament, Lyney began blowing puffs of air on his ears, making him squirm and scrunch up his shoulders.
“Youhuhuhu guhuhuhuys! Hehehehehe! Thihihis ihihihisn’t fahahahair! Ahahahahaha!”
“All's fair in love and… tickling,” they said in unison.
Aether giggled uncontrollably and whined as he tried to follow their touches, but they didn't bite.
“My lohohoves, plehehehease dohoho ihihihit! Hehehehehe!”
He was losing his mind and could only think about getting his lovers to tickle him.
“Please please please plehehehease!”
Xiao experimentally slid his fingers along his belly causing him to buck up and laugh.
“AHHAHAHA! Yehehehes! Finahahally- Wh-why did you stop?”
Xiao's fingers settled back on to his stomach, not moving.
“Did you think I would just give it to you like that? Tell us what you want,” he growled playfully, blowing a raspberry on Aether's neck.
Lyney did the same, overwhelming him with ticklish sparks.
“GAHAHAHA! WAHAHAHAIT! IT TIHIHICKLES TOO MUHUHUCH! AHAHAHA!
As quick as they started, they stopped.
“But you loved it didn't you?” Lyney whispered into his ear.
Aether nodded, giggles filling the air as Xiao lightly drummed his fingers against his belly.
“Just say the words.”
Aether hesitated on whether he can hold out, but with Xiao tortuously drumming his fingers and Lyney now nuzzling against his neck, he couldn't hold back anymore and needed to get wrecked.
“Plehehease tickle me! I nehehehed it so bahahad! Wreheheck mehehehe!”
Giggles slipped in as Xiao and Lyney exchanged a look.
Did we actually break him? That was more than I thought he would say. Is he really that tickle starved?
Not one to make their lover suffer any longer, they went in.
Lyney moved his hands down to Aether's hips, squeezing rapidly, while Xiao went to town on his tummy.
A look of relief and excitement passed through his eyes before a bright smile appeared and laughter started pouring out of him.
“GAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHA! OH MY ARCHOHONS! IT TICKLEHEHEHES SOHOHOHO MUHUHUHUCH! HAHAHAHA!” He thrashed in Lyney's embrace, as he reflexively tried to curl in on himself.
“Of course it does, silly,” Lyney grinned, planting ticklish kisses along his neck.
Xiao just smiled as he switched to wiggling his fingers against Aether's neck and Lyney started drilling into his ribs.
“AhhHAHAHhaha! Oh maHAHAhahan! Ihiht TIHIHICKLES! NAHAHAahahaHAHA!” Aether spasmed, the mix of light and intense tickling driving him crazy.
Xiao growled, knowing how much it affects Aether and started nibbling the shell of his ear making Aether shake his head.
“Xiahahahao! Dohohon’t- heheheahaha- AHAHAHAHA! LYNEHEHEHEY!”
Lyney slid down and kneaded his thighs catching him off guard and laughing hysterically.
Not to be outdone by the magician, Xiao blew raspberry after raspberry on Aether's navel, causing him to throw his head back in ticklish mirth and tears to run down his face.
“OHOHOHO GOHOHOD! LOHOHOVES! HAHAHAHA! AHAHAHAHAHA! NEHEHEHAHAHA!”
They noticed his energy slowly slipping away and decided to drive him over the edge as a finale.
“Ready Lyney?” The adeptus called over Aether's laughter.
“Yup! Let's finish it.”
Taking their positions along the golden boy's death spots, Xiao at his armpits and Lyney at his hip bones, they went all in.
Massaging, swiping, rubbing, any technique they know, they used, and Aether dissolved into laughter.
“AHHHAHAHHAHA, AHAHAHA! OHOHOHO- NAHAHAHA! GAHAHAHA! EHEHEHAHAHA! HAHAHAHAHA-”
His laughter went silent, making them back off and watch as he recovered. With whatever remaining strength, he brought Lyney in front of him with Xiao and hugged them both, giggles filtering in as he relaxed. A blissful look made its way on his face as he cuddled with them.
“Thank you, my babies,” he said softly, giving them each a deep and passionate kiss. “I needed that. I really love you both oh so much.”
“We love you too, sunshine,” they said, returning the kiss with equal fervor.
Aether closed his eyes and fell asleep peacefully, embraced by his lovers.
“Night, Aether.”
“Sweet dreams, sunshine.”
Xiao and Lyney waited to make sure his breathing evened out before going to sleep themselves.
“Love you, Lyney.”
“Love you too, Xiao.”
“Good night.”
“Night.”
They gave each other a night kiss before they snuggled up closer to Aether, his laughter playing in their dreams.

Never underestimate the greatest magician of fontaine
Tumblr media
This is too cute <lil Aether's reaction!>
Tumblr media
It's hard for Aether to concentrate on his commisons when he felt eyes have been hovering over him behind his back.
Was it an enemy? Not even Piamon sense such a hawk eye vision under him. Like the spotlight of attention.
He heard Paimon saying something about eating at the restaurant since she got a monstrous appetite.
She proceeded ahead while Aether counted his mora with a slight grimace. Still, who is he to deny a Paimon. Then, upon the arrival, he watched Paimon corner herself with piles of macaroons and fonta. The sweet tooth seemed to tempt even Aether to eat some, though he wanted specifically hungry. Paimon stuffed her face saying something with filled up cheeks.
His gaze shifted to the corner, where he felt himself being watched once again. Its nerve wrecking.
They were at a peaceful corner completely invisible to the crowd except the waitress.
Maybe he was paranoid. There's no way someone was that keen to see him, if that's the case they could approach him.
"Paimons gonna order seconds and something spicy for sure"
"H-hey, control yourself and consider the expenses at least"
She waved off. "Fine, fine Paimon will be careful"
She was off, and he sighed, but it was short-lived when a touch of warm breath reached his ear he flinched away. "Well, fancy seeing you here, Aether."
Struggling to look up, the figure sat back down, and it was no doubt Lyney the magician. How did he get here? He could've sworn Lyney wasn't in this restaurant before. He really is a magician.
"Hey, Lyney, didn't expect to see you hear, what's up?"
It's almost as if he asked a penalty question, and Lyney snickered adorably "Why indeed? I just want to pay off a debt I couldn't repay"
"O-Oh, who would that be?"
"You"
Huh? What debt? And was he really expecting payment from Lyney-
"Eek!" He almost shrieked when cold fingers grabbed his bare sides. Thankfully, for Aether, nobody heard it through the loud chatters of other gentlemen. He let out a sigh of wavery relief now.
Hissing desperately, he grabbed those wrists. "N-not hehehere Lyney... I thohohought-!"
"You thought what? I'll not get revenge at the times you least expect?" He manage to break free from the traveller's hold only to pinch his exposed belly.
This drove Aether nuts as he leaned back against the chair, evading those cruel fingers.
Paimon is sure taking her time ordering, and that was suspicious enough, tho that was the least of his worries. He knew Lyney would get revenge, but to come all the way here stalking him and surprising him is a bit much.
"You sure one to talk considering how you keep your sensitive spots in the open"
"Thahahat ihihis wehehell -Ahaha Lynehehehey! Yohohohou!"
There were some suspicious looks in their directions, and it was certainly brief, but Lyney had to stop and avoid getting attention. He took a mere look back only to see Paimon and Lynette having a bargain of their own.
Those two sure have a lot to talk about... Lyney thought with a wry smile.
"Ahahalright thahahats enohohohough!"
In a sudden twist of fate Aether was able to reach over and tickle Lyney's armpits who squeaked in surprise.
"Nohohot thehehere!"
"Like I sahahaid, you were asking for it"
Seems he was more ticklish, but he had to reach for Aethers' sides again just to stop him momentarily.
Though they had a secure corner they were all struggling an evenly matched war. Aether seemed to be having a bit of an advantage with Lyney's sensitivity although he had exposed his vulnerable sides as a price. He felt his own cheeks blush from the thrill.
Lyney being beneath soon pushed forward only to tickle back his ear, which he deduced was sensitive since the beginning.
It was a bit of a wave change as Aether suddenly shrilled, making them both stop from that startled sound.
The crowd definitely heard that but they couldn't tell who it was. They all turned around, even Aether blushed hard while closing his mouth.
Lyney pursed his trembling lips, the cute sound was too hilarious that he lowered his head to hide the giggles.
"Not fair!" He growled now, nudging his side till he flinched away from the playful touch. He shook his head now. "Sohorry thahat sound was... -ahahaha oh my gohohod, I gotta rehehehember thihis"
"I thought I told you guys to talk, not mess around with each other" the calm tone of Lynette made them both look up.
Aether sighed. "No wonder, you distracted Paimon, thanks for indulging her"
She smiled cordially, "sure"
Lyney sighed now wiping a tear "If we actuallt had an all out tickle war I'd straight go for the ear"
Frowned as he felt embarrassed, he huffed "Yeah well don't forget you made a similar noise to your thighs so... don't get cocky"
Chuckling at their game play, Lynette watched Paimon arrived with a large serve of meals in each palm. She tossed to the table now gasping in delight "Man this is Paimon's best day ever!"
Lyney anxiously turned to his sister "Uh, sis... might I ask who's paying for all that?"
She casually took out his wallet now, without any proper expression to tease him further, "You, of course... your the magician here"
His heart clutches now, graoning "oh fine"
Aether patted his shoulder with assurance. "Let's split the cost, I kinda owe you too"

Quality Time
Wriothesley x Lyney
Tumblr media
A/N: Don't ask me when I came up with this. At the cinema when I was bored during a movie. Also if you enjoy this pair, click this, I recently commissioned this art and it's just 🤌 amazing! You won't be disappointed!
Summary: Not explicit but very suggestive - Lyney came to Wriothesley with a mission: to seduce him and make up for some lost time of intimacy. Too bad the Duke of the Fortress of Meropide is too busy to play...
Tumblr media
Wriothesley stared, pinched his own cheek and shook his head. Hmm.
"Am I dreaming? Am I imagining things? Was my afternoon tea poisoned?" he wondered out loud in quite the dramatic way.
But there was a reason to be dramatic, and theatric. There in his chair, in his office at the the Fortress of Meropide, sat is boyfriend. Away from daylight and away from the spotlight of the theather, Lyney appeared to have made himself comfortable in a pretty unique manner.
He was lounging in the Duke's chair, hands secured behind his back with Wriothesley's very own handcuffs, but not looking like he was in any trouble. In fact, he looked rather comfortable and smirked playfully as Wriothesley took in the remarkable sight.
"You're not dreaming, Sir. You're not imagining things either, although I do hope those fantasies of yours are somewhat similar to this." He winked. "And no, I think your precious tea was perfectly fine. Hi, Wrio. How's your day?"
Lyney stretched his legs and crossed them at his ankles, looking way too comfortable.
"What are you doing here? Did you... cuff yourself?" Wriothesley asked, walking closer and reaching out for his hands, but Lyney turned away and flashed him the cutest and flirtiest little grin.
"I came to play, obviously. You don't come to me, so I come to you. Simple." He shook his hips seductively to make his point. Woah.
He came to play. He came to seduce him, to be naughty, convince him to take time off work while indulging in pleasure, the little minx he was. Wriothesley smirked. That was also what he loved about him.
Still... He sighed and gazed at the time. In just 15 minutes if not less, Neuvillette was going to be here for an appointment. There was barely any room for some sweet quality time. He clicked his tongue. The timing of Lyney's moment of mischief couldn't be worse.
"What, don't like what you see? I'm all yours~" Lyney licked his lips and writhed in Wriothesley's seat, displaying how helplessly tied he was. Thank the Seven he was still properly dressed. But yes. Of course he liked it.
Wriothesley was shamefully aware that it had been exactly 13 days since the last time they were intimate. All because work just sometimes took too much of his time and energy. He had hardly been home, and Lyney didn't exactly have an empty schedule either.
"Lyney..." He was burning with temptation and desire to just devour Lyney right then and there. But... 15 minutes had become 14 minutes already. Just 14 minutes until his appointment with Neuvillette. Still, was he going to tell Lyney 'no' in his pretty face when he was being this naughty, confident and playful, and make him leave in shame?
"I'm not going anywhere you know~" Lyney sang. The little brat. Wriothesley rolled his eyes fondly and grabbed his arm. He should really throw him out, but he couldn't.
"Is that right?" he asked, lifting Lyney off the chair with ease, and he sat down and pulled him down on his lap.
...He was not going to take the bait, but it wouldn't hurt to play a little at least. Well, maybe in a different way than Lyney intended. Lyney immediately arched his back and leaned against him in a flirty and sexy way, allowing Wriothesley to kiss his neck and ear from behind. Lyney really thought they were going to get all hot and steamy here, while in fact...
"HWAhhah?" Lyney let out a cute squeaky giggle and jolted when Wriothesley had made a claw of his hand and wiggled his fingers big and wide on his tiny and vulnerable tummy.
"What's wrong?" Wriothesley hummed seductively in his ear, and he wiggled his fingers some more, now adding another hand which he positioned at his hip. He squeezed his hipbone and enjoyed a little too much how he jerked in his lap.
"W-whahahat are you d-doihihing?" Lyney whined, squirming on top of him when Wriothesley used his two big hands to tickle him with.
"You wanted to play, didn't you?" he mumbled, taking Lyney's earlobe in between his teeth and nibbling and suckling on it. Suddenly when it wasn't meant in a sexy way but just to tickle him, Lyney wasn't being the flirty beast from earlier. No moan or sigh came from his lips. He was giggling his head off, and Wriothesley was enjoying every second of it.
"Nohoho not like thihihis! W-Wrio-ahahaha!" Lyney struggled and squirmed, but his hands that were stuck behind his back were becoming quite the disadvantage.
"What's wrong, Mr. Lyney? Are the handcuffs in your way? What happened to your magic?"
Wriothesley was a little mean to ask these things when Lyney had long lost the ability to speak. He lay helplessly in Wriothesley's lap and squealed as the Duke had lost every little bit of control and wrecked his cheeky boyfriend with all ten fingers.
"AHAha- wheheheeh Wria-hahahah! Naha-ehehe!" Lyney laughed and squealed breathlessly, and Wriothesley eyed the clock on his desk again. Still 10 more minutes, so he was going to enjoy tickling Lyney for every single one of them. And he really did.
He recalled how easily ticklish his sides were. The kitty-like mewl sounds he would make when he merely touched his thighs without even the intention to tickle them. And even in this position, he could wriggle his fingers under his arms and make him shriek by tickling those deliciously sensitive armpits.
"Pleh-plehehease Wriotheslehehey!" Lyney bucked on top of him when Wriothesley had at last moved to playing his ribs like an instrument.
He clawed and wiggled his fingers around, digging in and scratching occasionally, enjoying the kind of music it made. By kicking his legs, Lyney made quite the dance moves to go with his sweet melodious laughter, and Wriothesley couldn't help but smile as he admired the performance.
"Thank you, Lyney. I really appreciate that you came to play," he mumbled in his ear, then kissed and blew on his neck to tickle him there too. Lyney cried out and shook his head hysterically.
"You're so-aahahahaha!" Wriothesley was so 'ahaha', he knew that of course. Smirking, he continued the playful assault. Surely Lyney didn't know this was only because they only had very few minutes of private time left. Not enough for the fastest quickie, no, Wriothesley would want it to take forever. However the more he tickled Lyney, the more he started to regret this particular decision as well.
"Are you enjoying yourself?" Wriothesley asked, trying to tease him while he started to suffer at the realization that he had to send Lyney out of his office really soon. He wished he could keep on tickling him like this minutes longer, hours even and - .... click.
His heart sank at the sound of the door downstairs. Then slow, quiet yet reconizable footsteps could be heard, coming up the stairs.
"Wriothesley? I am here."
Neuvillette. His fingers on Lyney's body froze, and he held his breath.
"W-Wrio? Who's...?" Why Lyney was so surprised he was expecting a visitor, he had no idea. However, Neuvillette was two minutes early, and Wriothesley had lost track of time after all.
He hastily looked at Lyney, all blushy and breathless in his lap, and considered what he should do. It was no secret to Neuvillette that they were a couple, but they always kept work and private matters separated like professionals.
He would also feel bad if he were to get caught like this, since it was the request of his own that Neuvillette, busy as always, should come down here for their meeting.
Now that he was already here, it was also too late to send Lyney away, so...

A/N: Soooo, I just wrote this after waiting way to long and wanted to share it. Hope you guys like it!
If you asked Lyney what his favorite part of performing magic was, he would say it was seeing the reactions of the audience. This was partially true. There was no beating the satisfaction of seeing people's faces light up in wonder at the spectacles before them, but what was even greater was the smiles on their faces. Growing up, he and his sister had little to smile about. Life on the streets leads to a lot of mistrust, both on their own parts and of others. It was at his first magic show that, through his amazement of the showmanship and miracles before him, he turned to his sister and saw an even greater miracle, a smile on Lynette's face.
From that day forward, both he and Lynette dedicated themselves to the craft of magic. Lyney might have made the excuse that it was for money, but he knew the real reason was to get the chance to give others a sliver of joy through their day.
That love of seeing his sibling happy extended as he and his sister were adopted into the house of hearth. Upon meeting his new little brother, Freminet, he recognized the same seemingly expressionless look on his face as the very one Lynette seemed to have. He never thought he would want to see anyone smile as much as his sister, but he felt the bond of family towards this quiet, shy boy almost immediately, as if the three of them had always been siblings. And for the first time, Lynette felt the same need to make him smile as well.
Maybe it was an older sibling's instinct, to protect and provide while also making sure the youngest was the happiest they could be. Or maybe it was the fact that Lynette saw a bit of herself in him. Someone who was quiet and preferred to work in the shadows while the real star of the show shined in the spotlight. Though he didn't participate in their shows, he had other ways of bringing joy to the masses while staying out of the limelight. For instance, he designed Pers himself, and he allowed a local toy company to sell miniature versions of his adorable machine. That way, he could share this small joy he had with other kids around Fontaine.
Needless to say, both siblings were always determined to see Freminet happy. They would commonly rehearse their shows and workshop new magic tricks in front of him, looking to see what made him smile the most. They would always ask for his feedback, both for their own improvement and to give him a chance to feel that he contributed to the show. Almost every rehearsal left him in amazement, no matter how many times he had seen it. The only suggestion he had ever made was adding Peres to the show. Both twins thought it was only fitting that they added what was essentially their brothers mascot to some of their performances.
After workshopping some new tricks, they settled on one where he would pop out of Lyneys hat, waddle over to Lynette, then walk into her hat and disappear, only for it to reappear and waddle offstage.
"So," Lynette asked after his bow at the grand finale, "What do you think?"
Fremite was already smiling ear to ear as he watched his creation cutely walk away.
"That was amazing! How did you even get him to wind back up again?"
Lynette smirked as she went to retrieve the mechanical penguin. "You know we can't tell you the answer to that."
Freminet sighed as Pers was handed back to him. "I suppose, but that won't stop me from wondering."
"Wonder is all part of the show," Lyney chuckled as he went to ruffle his brother's hair. "I can tell this trick will be a hit. I think Pers makes a wonderful addition to our performance."
Freminet swatted his hand away and attempted to fix his hair. "Why are you so sure people will like it? I thought you guys go through tricks all the time, and you hardly ever settle on one so quickly."
"Well, if it could make you smile then it could make anyone smile." Lyney gently grabbed back Pers and held him out, making it look like he was walking towards Freminet. "I think it's a great trick." Lyney spoke in a high pitched voice, his impression of what he believed Pers sounded like.
Freminet struggled to suppress another grin. "You're so childish." He turned to Lynette for some support.
"He's right you know," She gestured to Lyney, "If something can make you happy then it's surely worth adding to the full show."
Fremite gave a groan as he snatched back his beloved penguin. "What is it with you two and mentioning me smiling whenever you get the chance. Do I really smile that rarely?"
Lynette huffed in amusement. "I'd say it's pretty rare. Even when you were a child you wouldn't smile all that often."
"True," Lyney chimed in, "it seemed like the only thing that ever made you really laugh was the games we used to play."
A pink blush appeared on Freminets freckled face, remembering him and his siblings acting out various myths and fairytales he had read about. The previous director had berated Freminet for reading these fairy tales, claiming he was too naive and needed to grow up. After that, he had hidden away his stories, that is until his siblings were adopted into the house of hearth. It was their companionship that made him want to share his stories with them. Though they didn't believe in fairy tales themselves, they saw how happy it made him, and of course they found ways to incorporate the stories into games. With their help, he slowly conditioned himself out of the habits imposed on him by the previous director and started nurturing that part of himself again. As he grew, he had less time for games, and sometimes felt he was too old for them. Even so, he still found joy in these stories.
"T-that was a long time ago." He responded.
"Not to us," Lynette said, "and last I checked you still love reading your books. Why should enjoying games be any different?"
"Because, they're..." He really had no defense. If he was being honest he did find a part of himself missed playing those games. But another part of him found it all too embarrassing. No, embarrassed wasn't the right word for it. Flustered. That's how he felt remembering those games. Still, he couldn't say he hated it.
"If I remember right, there's one fairy tale you were always particularly interested in." Lyney said.
Freminet racked his brain trying to remember which story he could be referring to. That's when he noticed the creeping grin on his brother's face and his wiggling fingers.
"The story goes that there lives fae's in the woods that love making people laugh."
His eyes widened suddenly as memories flooded back to him. The tale of the tickling fae's had been one of his favorite stories. So much so that his siblings started making up games where they would act as the mischievous creatures and do everything they could to get him laughing.
"I'm sure you're starting to remember the tickle fae's. You must, you're already turning pink. You must remember how fae's love finding people who are grumpy and tickle all the grumpiness right out of them."
Freminet felt a grin starting to form as he covered his face. He had always been extremely susceptible to teasing, which Lyney was exceptionally good at.
"Lyney, plehehehease!" He giggled, already feeling ticklish from the teasing alone.
"Please what, brother of mine? Please tickle you until you can't stop smiling?" His grin could have been mistaken for one of pure evil, but Freminet knew it was all a part of his "Fae persona", where he and Lynette would become ruthless tickle monsters.
"I-I'm already smiling!"
"True, but we've hardly gotten to see it lately. I say we should make up for lost time." He had been getting more and more occupied diving and going on missions, hardly getting the chance to spend time with them. The more he thought about it, the more he felt himself missing getting to laugh with them. Still, tickling was just so childish and silly, he wasn't sure he could handle it all without dying from being so flustered.
Suddenly, Lynette seemed to be right behind him, swiftly grabbing both his wrists and pulling his arms above his head. Freminet tried to hide his face, now with a full smile, by turning his head into his shoulder, but Lynette's grip held strong and he could only cover half his face.
"Well well well, it looks like this grumpy gus has fallen into the tickle fae's trap."
"Whahahait, lets talk abohohouht this!"
"Laughing already?" Lyney chuckled. "Seems like nothings changed, you're as ticklish as ever. And you aren't even trying to get away, just trying to hide your smile from us."
Freminet couldn't even bear to open his eyes, fearing that just looking at his siblings would cause them to attack. Still, the anticipation was killing him, and every second that passed felt like an hour.
"Stop teasing! I cahahan't help it!"
"I'll stop teasing you when you stop hiding your smile from us. The tickling fae's will get to see it one way or another, you might as well show it now."
He knew that his siblings wouldn't let up any time soon, and the build up was killing him. Against his better judgment, he turned his face to look at Lyney. "Fhihihine, are you happy no- NOHOHOHOHOHO!"
Just as he had suspected, the moment he made eye contact Lyney started scribbling under his arms. He tried to pull them down but Lynette kept his arms up and high. She wasn't usually one to tease, but she had a soft smile on her face as she looked at the hysterical boy.
"There's that smile! See? That wasn't so hard."
"Yehehehes it was!"
"Well, you've done it at least. Now, which of the fae's games should we play?"
There were a few games the twins had come up with over the years to entertain their brother. Counting ribs, tracing shapes, having to choose which spot to be targeted, you name it and they had played it.
"Hm," Lynette finally chimed in, "How about we let him choose for himself."
"Nohohoho! Dohohon't make me chohohohose!" He giggled Lyney hovered his hands over him in suspense.
"If you don't pick then we'll just have to play all the games! Better choose fast, grumpy gus, or the fae's will choose for you!"
Freminet could hardly think straight through his laughter. He had extensive experience diving, and with that came good control of his breath, but these attacks always tested that ability, and he found it hard to concentrate on anything when he was this breathless from laughter.
"We'll give you till the count of 3 to choose, then the fae's will go through all their games on you!" Lyney teased. "One..." He wiggled his fingers ever so closer to his ribs. "Two..."
"THE SHAPE THING!" Freminet shouted.
"Hm? Not sure what game you're referring to, you'll have to say the name."
"T-the one where you trace shapes, and I have to guess what shape it is..."
"Oh! You mean constellations."
The name came from an old version of the game where they would trace Freminet's freckles. One day after reading a book about mythology, Freminet became sad that they couldn't see the stars from the city. To cheer him up, the twins pretended his face was the night sky and traced their own constellations as they made up their own stories, and when they ran out of room on his face they started tracing the freckles that lined his back and stomach. Freminet proved to be too ticklish to pay attention to anything, so they began a new game where he would have to guess what shape they were trying to make.
"It's been so long since we played that one. Here, I'll start with something easy."
Lyney lifted his shirt up to trace across his stomach. He used a single finger to trace out a circle right around his belly button.
"Hehehehee, I thihihihink its a circle?"
"Ding! That's right." Lynette smiled. "Hey, you shouldn't peak, that's cheating."
"Ihihihi wasn't lohohohoking!"
"Hmm, alright. I'll let you off the hook this time," She teased as she switched to holding his arms with just one hand. "It's my turn now." Right where the bicep met the under arm, she began tracing what was supposed to be the shape of a cat's head.
"Ihihihis it a house?"
"Nope." She suddenly scribbled his under arm, making him squeak.
That was one part of the game Freminet had forgotten: if he guessed wrong, they would unleash a sudden tickle attack wherever it was they were tracing.
"WAIAIAIAIT! A PERSON!"
"Still wrong." She continued scribbling her fingers over his bicep.
"IHIHIHIHI DON'T KNOW!"
"Giving up already?" Lyney laughed.
"YEHEHEHES, JUST TELL ME!"
"How unfortunate, it was supposed to be the face of a cat." She decided to show some mercy and went back to holding his arms with both hands.
"That's way too complex," Freminet wheezed through his remaining giggles.
He still hadn't thrown in the towel yet, and the twins knew that meant he was having fun, even if he wouldn't admit it. Lyney glanced to the side and saw Pers lying on the ground and an idea came to him. He snickered to himself as he picked up the mechanical penguin.
"Look at that, it seems that Pers wants to help make you laugh as well." He held out Pers, this time slowly walking him towards the younger brother to participate.
"Come on, friend," He once again said in his high-pitched impression of Pers, "I love seeing your smile, too." He slowly moved the penguin closer to Freminets torso and suddenly had him 'pecking' at his tummy.
"Nohohoho! Thihihihis is tohohoho much!"
"You used to love Pers' tickle attacks, remember?" He continued gently brushing Pers beak across his torso. Freminet would never admit it, but he did in fact used to love when they would pretend Pers wanted to join in the tickle attacks.
"Ihihihi cahahant!"
"Can't what? Can't stop giggling? That's the whole idea, little brother."
Lynette, deciding to up the game and join in the fun, suddenly releases his arms to squeeze at his ribs. Freminet threw back his head in laughter, trying his best to swat away the hands now scribbling all over his torso.
Before Lyney decided to set Pers aside, he had one more trick up his sleeve.
"I think someone could use some raspberries," he said in his Pers voice while moving him back and forth, "but I can't because of my beak." Lyney pretended to have a conversation with the little bird. "Well that just won't do. I'll just have to give him some raspberries on your behalf."
Freminet started giggling hysterically as Lynette once again took his arms to hold above his head.
"Whahahahait! Nohohohohohot thahahat!" Raspberries we're something he was especially weak against. Something about the silly noise accompanied by the ticklish sensation sent him up the wall every time, to the point he would get tears in his eyes from laughing so hard. Even just the threat of raspberries against him made him turn to a mess of hiccupy laughter.
"I'm just doing this on behalf of your friend," Lyney sang, "he's the one that wants to give you lots of raspberries. Who am I to turn down his request?" He lifted up his shirt just high enough to see his belly.
"Lyney wahahaHAHAHAHAHAH!" He was cut off as Lyney finally blew the biggest raspberry he could right above his bellybutton. He instantly started squirming like his life depended on it, kicking his legs and shaking his head back and forth. He heard his siblings laughing along with him.
"I haven't seen you this happy in a long time," Lynette chucked. "We should do this more often."
"NAHAHAHAHAHA WE SHOULD- BAHAHAHA!" He was immediately cut of by another barrage of raspberries, all in quick succession and all over his tummy.
"ALRIGHT! TIME OUT!" He squealed as he kicked his feet in the air.
Lyney couldn't help but laugh at the look on his face, eyes squinted and cheeks bright as tomatoes. Nonetheless, he stopped immediately, as they always did when he officially asked for a time out. Lynette followed, releasing his arms and allowing him to curl up into a ball, residual tickles still making him giggle like mad.
"Are you alright?" She asked. She was usually the one to check first to make sure their brother hadn't been pushed too far.
Between his remaining laughter he replied, "Y-yeah, I'm alright. Its just... been a while since I've laughed like that."
"I'll say," Lyney chimed in as he handed him back Pers. "We have to start bringing more games back." He laughed as Freminet covered the blush returning to his face. "Only if you want to, of course. The whole point of this is to make you happy."
Freminet groaned. "I-I like the games, I just... Don't know if I'm getting too old for them."
"I don't think there should be an age limit on something that brings you joy," Lynette said as she wrapped her brother in an embrace.
"Agreed, dear sister. And what did the fae's say about covering that smile?" Lyney poked him in the ribs, causing him to put down his arms with a squeak.
"Ohohokay! I'll try not to cover my face anymore."
By the time he had finally recovered, Lynette had made tea for the three of them.
"Isn't it a bit late for tea?" Lyney asked.
"It's the non-caffeinated kind. I believe it's an herbal blend from Liyue, it's actually supposed to help you sleep." She took a sip herself, taking a deep breath in to get a full scent of the aroma. Her brothers followed, feeling relaxed already.
It wasn't long after they had finished that Freminet let out a yawn. The tea really did wonders.
"I don't think I can stay awake long enough to change out of my clothes," He said, eyes already drooping with sleepiness. The twins appeared just as tired as he did.
"Well, we can always shower in the morning," Lyney said as he laid back on the couch.
"Are you at least going to sleep in your bed?" Lynette said as she walked over to him.
"Nope, too tired."
Lynette and Freminet were about to leave to their own rooms when they both felt a hand pull them back to the couch. They both yelped in surprise, falling back and being pulled into their brother's embrace.
"Lyney, we have to go to our rooms!" Lynette stated, though amusement was evident in her tone.
"Lets sleep out here tonight," he responded. "Or I could just tickle the both of you until you agree."
They both felt a sudden squeeze at their sides, sending both of them into laughing fits.
"Ohohohokay! We'll stay!" She answered. "Just give us a break!"
Fortunately Lynet was too tired to dish out the same treatment on her as he did their brother. They both relaxed into his embrace as they closed their eyes for the night. Not even a few minutes later Lyney could hear the soft snores of both of them, and Friment could be seen holding Pers close to his chest. He smiled softly at the two of them, letting himself slowly drift off to sleep.
Yep, seeing his family happy and safe in his arms was all the magic he needed.

a loud click filled the room, lyney clearing his throat before continuing. "Now, just stay still, and i guarantee i can unlock these handcuffs without the key! do you trust me, aether?"
"right now? debatable," aether muttered, "but go on."
"how cruel.." lyney sighed dramatically. "i'll just have to prove you wrong. in three, two.. one!"
aether didnt truely know what to expect, but it was anything else but the feeling of fingertips scribbling up his skin.
"maybe if you'd stop squirming, i'd be able to finish the trick. ever think of that, dear traveller?"
"shuhut uhup! lyney, ihi'm serious!" aether shrieked, giggling madly as he leaned his head against the wall. "tahake them off!"
"well thats the trick, isnt it?" Lyney asked rhetorically, a smug smirk shown off on his face as his nails ran up the other's ribs lightly. "it's just handcuffs, nothings stopping you from walking away."
"yohou! yohou are!" the traveler exclaimed between laughs, holding himself up from sliding down the said wall. "thihis is supposed toho be practice!"
"who says I'm not practicing?" the magician tilted his head, "keeping you upright is hard work, you know."
"yohou're insufferable!" he blurted out, "ihi'm never helping yohou again!"
"oh..? well then, maybe you need a little convincing."

"Show me more of that magical smile, Freminet~"
Tumblr media
Ler: Lyney
Lee: Freminet

Another quite boring day, especially for Freminet. The boy is sitting on his bed, shortening several pieces of metal for further testing, in the same time his older brother, Lyney, is sitting next to his bed, playing with some cards in his hands.
— Ahh... Lynette is late. She promised she would be there at 2 p.m. — the magician groaned, Lynette went out for a photo session suggested by Charlotte, and knowing Charlotte, it was obvious that they would be late...
— She probably won't be long — Freminet mumbled under his breath with his casual monotone, still focused on his mechanisms.
— Hey... Fremi~ If we're waiting for her, maybe we can do something together? — Lyney said quickly with his specific sparkle in eye.
— Hmh? What do you mean? I'm busy... — the boy said quietly, slowly looking up at his brother with a small sigh — but what do you propose? — he said finally.
— Let me think... — magician tapped his chin with small smirk – some magic tricks!~ — Lyney said loudly, stooding up from the chair.
— Again magic tricks... — Freminet mumbled quitely.
— This time there will be something interesting and cool...! — Lyney almost yelled, maintaining a tone as if he were announcing someone to the stage. Freminet decided to sit on the bed more firmly, sitting on the end of the bed to put his feet on the ground, watching his older brother.
— Wow... what will it be... — the boy mumbled with monotone, pretending to be the audience.
Lyney stood in front of the seated Freminet, taking one of the cards from his deck.
— Look carefully, little brother — Lyney whispered, at which Freminet sharpened his eyes on the card, magician only smiled, shaking his hand and card... just disappeared.
— Huh... — Freminet murmured — I remember you showed it to me once — the blonde said quietly.
— Oh really? Take off your hat~ — Lyney grinned. The boy decided to obey, he took off his hat, looking inside, and a small surprise, the card being in his hat, Freminet take the card in his fingers, his eyes a little lighten up.
— Okay... that was a little bit cool... — the blonde mumbled.
— You can take the card for yourself~— Lyney winked with soft chuckle.
— B- but then the cards will be incomplete — Freminet stammered.
— Don't worry! You're my little brother, I can always conjure up a pair for her~ — the magician smiled, arranging the deck of cards in his fingers in such a way that they lightly began to shoot out of his grip towards the blonde.
— B- but Lyney- — Freminet stammered, covering his face from cards with his hand, can't help but smiled shyly, even blushing softly.
— Oh? Is it- oh my goodness~ Freminet you smiled!~ — Lyney yelled with excitement, when all cards slipped out from his grip, he looked at his little brother face with big grin.
— Me- I'm... ehh... yeah... something wrong...? — the blonde blushed a bit more, rising his eyebrows.
— The point is... nothing!~ I'm so happy to just a little make you smile, but you know what? I think I want to see this smile getting wider... hmh... — Lyney smirked a little bit more, almost teasingly.
— H- huh? But why? I mean- no... don't need... — Freminet only shaked his head, even panickly, he's quite mysterious when it comes to his emotions, he likes to stay all calm and silent, not overreacting, but his older brother definitely want to do something against it... right?
The blonde even can't react when Lyney stepped closer.
— You know what does it mean, Freminet?~ — the magician actually now teasing.
— N- no, and I don't want to know- — the boy stammered.
— Aww~ of course it means tickles!~ — Lyney laughed, quickly stooding behind Freminet and putting his hands on his sides — show me more of that magical smile, Freminet~ — the magician laughed and started to playfully squeezing his younger brother's sides.
— L- Lyney- d- don't- — Freminet only stammered more, the card he holding quickly fall from his hand when the blonde covered his mouth with both hands, started to blushing a bit more, his torso twitched slightly.
— Aww... you've never reacted like that before! Come on, don't be like that, laugh for your older brother~ — the taller one lightly teased, still smiling broadly, his hands quickly wandered to the blonde's ribs, started to poking the space between every his rib.
Freminet struggled even more, trying his best not to laugh or even snort, he still remember the old times in the House of the Hearth when well... yeah, he had some tickle fights with Lyney and Lynette, but hey... they're not a kids anymore! The blonde's elbows trying to protect his poor ribs but Lyney sneaky moves definitely winning.
The magician decided to change some tactics, he started to squeezing his younger brother's ribs now, his thumbs started to dig into Freminet's upper back, when the rest of his fingers digging into the younger's chest.
— Damn... Fremi, you're struggling so much not to laugh, don't you? I'm not forcing you... you're just adorably sensitive, my lil brother~ — Lyney chuckled, continued his small torture.
Freminet can't hold anymore under his brother's tickling, he just let out quite soft and gentle, but still hard laugh, his torso started to twitch even more.
— Ehe- ehehehe~ L- Lyney- stohohop- plea- pleahahase...! — the blonde begged softly.
— Not yet, sorry but I have to show you my 'magic trick' in all its glory!~ — Lyney teased, he doesn't want to torture him too much, that's not his point, his main point was just to make him laugh and smile, hoping Freminet will understand this.
— W- wha- hahaha~ thahahat's nohohohot a mahahagic trihihihick- tha- that's tihihihickles- Lynehehey- pleahahase... — in Freminet's eyes even started to show small tears of laughing.
— No no no~ Just a little longer~ You can bear it!~ — Lyney chuckled, his hands now wandered to his younger brother's hips, started to squeeze it quite fast and tight. Freminet only kicked gently with his leg onto the floor, he laughed a bit louder and started to squirm this time, a little crazily.
— No- nohohohoho- but- bahahaha-BHAH...! B- BROTHEHHER-! — Freminet almost yelled, blushing even more, while grabbing Lyney's wrist to push his hands away, but failing — E- ENOUGHAHAHH- — Freminet cried, wiggling a little more.
And then... the doors of their room started to opening, Freminet's laugh only filling all room, but two brothers could hear monotone voice, which they knew very well.
— What are you doing...? — Lynette asked a bit awkwardly, rising her eyebrow.

if possible.....can we have lee!freminet........potentially ler!lyney and/or lynette
“L-Lyney!” Freminet gasps, a rosy blush beginning to take over his cheeks.
“Freminet!” Lyney exclaims mockingly, a dumb smug grin on his lips. “Is something wrong, dear brother?”
“Yehes!” Freminet whines, then snaps his mouth shut — he’s not giving Lyney the satisfaction of hearing him laugh, not yet.
Lyney pouts, poking sporadically at random areas on Freminet’s torso. “Aw, but I’m just trying to make you smile. There’s nothing wrong with that, is there?” He’s trying to sound disappointed, but nothing can mask the wide smile he’s sporting.
Freminet hides his face with both hands, embarrassed. This is so stupid and childish and he hates that he’s fully enjoying it. He reaches out to Lynette, who sits on the couch a few feet away. "H-hehelp me," he pleads, giggles nearly breaking through his poorly constructed dam.
She hums, closing her book and setting it on the table beside her. "You should give up," she tells Lyney, kneeling down next to the two of them. "Clearly, it's not working."
Lyney scoffs, pausing to turn and talk to her. Freminet takes a few breaths, though a nervous smile is still tugging at his lips. "It will eventually!" Lyney argues, rolling his eyes. "Really, Lynette, you just have to break him down—"
"Or," Lynette interjects, pressing her fingertips into the spaces between Freminet's ribs, "you could do this."
Instantly, Freminet bursts into helpless giggles, flushing as he realises that Lynette isn't even moving her fingers. He curses his own sensitivity.
Lyney coos. "There we go!" His hands return to Freminet's middle. "Alright, will you laugh for me now?"
