Lyney x Lynette x Freminet (PLATONIC)
Lee: Lyney
Lers: Lynette, Freminet
Warnings: Tickles! Spoilers for Fontaine act 1!
___________________________________________
Anyone would assume this would be a good day for Lyney. Thanks to the traveller, his innocence was proven and he could now walk as a free man. So why was it that his heart still ached later that night..?
The face of shock and disappointment the traveller gave after learning of his ties with the Fatui has been clouding his mind. Was their relationship now... tarnished? Was there nothing he could do...?
His thoughts were interrupted when he felt a soft pat on his shoulder, prompting him to turn around to face the younger slibing. "Oh, Freminet! Do what do I owe the pleasure?" it was like a switch had been activated and Lyney was back to acting like his usual cheerful self. But it was just that, an act... Just like he deceived people up on the stage, he can do the same with his true emotions. Although he underestimates how perceptive his family is.
"Umm... you've been awfully quiet tonight, is everything okay?"
"Of course I'm okay! I'm better than okay! If it wasn't for the... traveller... I wouldn't be back here tonight" there was a hint of sadness in the magician's eyes at the mention of the traveller. "Anyways, it's been a long day for all of us, you should go to sleep" and with that, Lyney slithered out of there, leaving Freminet feeling even more concerned.
With no other choice, Freminet went to ask Lynette about what happened there. After all, she had been present through it all. He peaked his head through the open door, catching his sister's attention.
"Hmm, is something wrong, Freminet?" she motioned him to come in.
"It's about Lyney... did something happen back there? He's been avoidant all night...".
Lynette let out a sigh and proceeded to explain the fallout between him and the traveller.
Freminet listened intently, slowly nodding along "I see... Is there anything we can do to help?".
"I'm sure with time, he and the traveller will come to an understanding".
The younger brother nodded but let out a soft sigh of disappointment. It had been many times his sibling had helped him out of awkward situations, and now he wanted to return the favor.
"But..." Lynette started to trail off. "He has been awfully moody tonight, I say we do something about it" aside from her usual serious demeanor, there was a slight spark of mischief in her eyes. Freminet could only imagine what she had planned and bregudgingly followed her to Lyney's room.
"Lyney... you in there?" Lynette reached out, followed by a soft knock to his bedroom door.
It was hard to make out, but they heard a faint 'it's open' and the younger siblings made their way in. Upon entering, they saw Lyney laying on his stomach with his face pressed against his pillow, refusing to look at either of them.
After a moment of hesitation, Lynette gave Freminet a slight shove towards their older brother. The youngling let out a flustered squeak, the freckles across his cheeks slowly being drowned out by the pink color overtaking them. He gave Lynette a flustered glare, while she only prompted him to keep going.
With a deep breath, he spoke out "Lyney...?". He only got a slight humm in reply, signaling that the magician was listening to him, despite keeping his face hidden. Freminet let out another breath before continuing "Lynette told me about what happened... with the traveller...". He observed the way Lyney's body tensed up at the mention and couldn't help but feel a bit guilty for bringing it up. "I'm sorry, I just... you don't have to suffer in silence...".
Freminet's voice grew softer and he took a seat next to Lyney. Shortly after, Lynette made her way to sit on the opposite side of the bed.
"We both know you're hurting, whether you admit it or not" Lynette's voice was sharper, but she only wished to get through her stubborn brother.
"I already said I'm fine..." Lyney whined out like a toddler, burrying his face deeper into the pillow. The other two couldn't help but softly snicker in amusement.
"If you'll keep sulking like that, then I guess we have no other choice..." Lynette and Freminet exchanged some glances, as if communicating telepathycally. Then, Lyney felt the magical hand of his assistant slide down his side, causing his whole body to jolt in surprise. But he wouldn't let his image falter from a simple touch and held onto his pillow tightly. As if it would somehow save him from his demise.
"Noho tickles, Lynette..." the magician let out a whiny giggle, muffled by his pillow, but still audibly adorable.
"In that case, your turn, Freminet".
"Huh...?" Freminet's gaze shyed away.
"C'mon, he won't bite" Lynette teased him, causing the younger boy to pout slightly.
"Fine..." he hesitantly reached out and gently tweaked at his brother's ribcage, earning a high-pitched squeak.
"gyAH! Dohon't listen to her, Freminehet!".
Usually, Freminet was one to oblige to Lyney's request. But he noticed that the elder one didn't as much squirm away from his touch, did he like it, perhaps? With that in mind, Freminet's fingertips kept delicately exploring each and every ticklish bone. Causing a cascade of giggles to pour out of Lyney's mouth.
"Nahahaha! Ihihit tickles!!" the magician blurted out the obvious through his hysterics. His legs started kicking out from behind out of instinct, but that would soon end when he felt weight settle on top of his legs.
"That's the point, silly" Lynette spoke in a matter-of-fact tone. Now with her brother's legs pinned, she started to poke and scribble at the back of his knees.
"eHEEK! AHAHAHA! NAHAT THEHEHERE!" if it were anyone else, Lyney would try bucking them off, but he couldn't risk hurting his sister. So he did the only thing he could in this situation and took the tickling like a champ (not really).
Lyney's hysterical and goofy sounds filled up the room. High-pitched charming laughter mixed in with snorts rang through the siblings ears.
"Hey Freminet, you should target his armpits".
"W-wait, Freminet dohoHON'T!!" Lyney's whole body jumped, errupting into another fit of contagious laughter. Poor Lynette got flung off of him, but landed flat across the bed. When she got up to see the commotion, there was Freminet, his small fingers carefully poking and scribbling at the ticklish hollows.
"Am I doing this right...?" he asked feeling unsure of himself, even though Lyney was currently crumbling from those simple touches.
"WAHAHA! P-PLEASE! I CAHAHAN'T!" Lyney rolled over onto his back and grabbed at Freminet's wrists, causing him to stop. The younger siblings observed the magician take in deep breaths. His chest heaving, hair all messy, eyes a bit watery, and a bright smile on his face. It looked like their plan worked after all.
"She put me up to it...!" Freminet blurted out, feeling a bit afraid that he took things too far, earning an eye roll from his sister. But before his thoughts could run wild, he felt a playful hand ruffle his hair. "H-hey!...".
When he looked down, he saw Lyney still smiling brightly at him. A genuine smile, Freminet thought. He couldn't help but smile back at his brother.
"Thank you for that, you two" Lyney smiled a bit sheepishly with flushed cheeks. But right now this moment was more important than whatever embarrassment he felt. He wrapped each of them into his arms, pulling them close into a snuggle pile.
"Looks like he's back to normal" Lynette said, both she and Freminet snuggling into each side of Lyney.
"Next time, please don't keep your feelings to yourself..." Freminet whispered out softly, not daring to make eye contact.
"Alright, alright, lessoned learned. I'm so glad to have such a reliable support system~" he gave each of them a squeeze. The three of them enjoying their silent company for a while, until... "But that doesn't mean I'll let you both go scott free...~" he spoke in a teasing tone, causing both siblings to tense up in his embrace.
The rest of the night was spent with cuddles and laughter. Whatever happened in the future, he was sure he could pull through with his family...

Lyney's Trick
Tumblr media
A/N: Fic #3 for the 2-part fics! No tickling yet in this part, so the poll results will really have a lot of influence on how the fic will continue🤭
Summary: Lyney is at a birthday party with many of Aether's friends. Because Lynette and Freminet are a little awkward and stiff, he asks them to help him play a trick on someone. It will definitely guarantee some joy and laughter for his siblings, the person tricked, and everyone else.
Tumblr media
It was a fun gathering. Sure it was. They were inside the marvelous Serenitea Pot Realm to celebrate the Traveler's birthday party, and it was rather impressive. Quite many people from all over Teyvat showed up to join the celebration.
The lively Gaming just came off the stage after giving a performance which was soon followed by Furina who was now in the middle of giving a fabulous show of her own. Lyney already had his turn and gave a magic show earlier as well.
"Enjoying yourselves?" he asked Lynette and Freminet. That was the only problem with this gathering. He noticed his siblings were a little shy to socialize with others.
From Fontaine almost all of Aether's friends were here, which was quite surprising. Even Neuvillette, and Wriothesley - but then again, even the Duke of the Fortress of Meropide wouldn't miss a chance to enter the Traveler's infamous Teapot realm and enjoy a cup of the finest tea.
From other nations there were people like the very loud Harbinger Childe, Venti the Bard from Mondstadt, Arataki Itto from Inazuma, Hu Tao from Liyue, just all those personalities combined made it quite lively, loud, chaotic and energetic, so he understood why Freminet and Lynette were a little overwhelmed by it all.
"Maybe we can join them?" Lyney suggested, pointing at the Sumeru table where a few people were playing cards, but Lynette shook her head.
"I'm fine. I drink tea," she said stiffly. Wriothesley, at the same quiet tea-table, nodded proudly.
"It's good tea," he said. Neuvillette merely nodded. Lyney shrugged. He would feel bad to leave them alone so awkwardly, even though he felt a little more tempted to engage with the others, to learn more about their nations, their friendship with Aether, maybe to show them more of his magic tricks and- oh.
A trick. Maybe he could get Freminet and Lynette to open up if they helped him with a trick! Not just a trick. The secret magic trick.
"Guys, do you remember my secret magic trick?" he asked Lynette and Freminet. Freminet shook his head.
"What secret trick?" Lynette asked.
"The one that makes people laugh. Even you, it made you laugh," Lyney said, and he winked. Lynette blushed.
"Oh. That one." She clearly remembered, and Freminet did too since he made a little squeak noise.
"You wouldn't," he said.
"You've got my attention. I am curious now, right Neuvillette?" Wriothesley said. Neuvillette nodded again.
Lyney hummed and gazed around the crowded space. "Well, the secret trick needs a person to try it on. It's a magical trick to make someone laugh, so..." he explained, while he considered the perfect victim. Not anyone from the Fontaine group, the chance was they had seen the trick, heard of it, or witnessed him playing it on people in Fontaine. It was quite popular and effective after all.
So...
His eyes fell on Gaming who was still gathering compliments after his show. He seemed like an easy target, a sweet bubbly and curious person who would definitely want to try it out.
Lyney then stared at Childe, the Eleventh of the Eleven Fatui Harbingers. Very tempting, but being a member of the Fatui as well, he would meet him a little more than others perhaps, and besides, Childe was clever. This scheme could backfire, but at the same time, if he would succeed... Lyney would feel more triumphant than ever.
"NOOOOOOOO!" Lyney almost fell over when a deafening yell could be heard from the Oni, Arataki Itto, who had just lost an Onikabuto battle against the Yashiro Commissioner, Kamisato Ayato. Itto looked like someone who would enjoy a trick like that, and he would most definitely fall for it.
While the Yashiro Commissioner and his sister looked quite elegant in a way that didn't really invite Lyney to trick them, at the same table sat a kind looking guy. Lyney knew he was called Thoma. He looked like he would accept and fall for it... perhaps?
The Mondstadt people were all too busy admiring Furina on stage, and the Sumeru group seemed very invested in their card game, however... Lyney noted the blond guy who seemed a little distracted.
"Kaveh? It's your turn," the fox guy said to him. Kaveh. Hm... Maybe him, but it was a question whether he would accept.
Lastly, Lyney glanced at Aether who was also staring at Furina's show at this moment. He had cute sparkles in his eyes. He was the perfect victim, but honestly, he was also the most dangerous. Lyney would definitely get his ass handed right back to him afterwards, but it could be worth it.
"Well? Who will it be?" Lynette asked, and Lyney smiled when he noticed she actually looked forward to this. Freminet seemed eager too.
With so many people together he was sure they would attract some attention soon, so he had only one chance to perform the prank- er, trick successfully.

After winning the trial thanks to Paimon and Traveler's help, Lyney and Lynette had headed home. As they made it towards home, they couldn't help but feel slightly worried for Ferminet, after all, the poor guy had rather bad anxiety.
After a long trip, and the amount of people riding the aquabus, having to rudely barge through them like a stampede, and the rain from the previous trial almost making them slip in each turn, the two eventually made it back home. Lynette had opened the door using their spare key's, and the two finally set foot inside.
They were met with silence, as Ferminet was, as usual, in his room, looking out the window as he snuggled up against his penguin toy. The two had to hold back an awe before being met with a pout.
"What took you two so long?" He asked, not budging from his position on the bed at all, as Lyney searched for word's.
"Ferminet, we know you're upset, but it really is a misunderstanding." Lyney said, Lynette nodding beside him. They both walked closer to him. "May we?"
Ferminet gave them each a glance before nodding, as the two climbed atop his bed on each side of him, wrapping warm, yet soaking appendages, around him. Ferminet shivered from the wet touch, yet leaned into them anyways, having missed them for what felt like an eternity.
"The Traveler and Paimon told me everything, so don't worry, I'm not that mad." He mumbled, making Lyney sigh aloud, resting his head ontop on Ferminet's, making him look at the two.
"Oh? But you're still mad?" Lyney asked, and as soon as Ferminet nodded, Lyney exchanged a mischievous glance towards his twin sister, who immediately got the message, and coiled their arm's around him slightly tighter, making sure he was still cozy.
"Oh Ferminet, you know we can't accept that! Now, give your big brother a big, wide smile!" He asked, smiling widely himself, however, when Ferminet ever so rudely ignored him, Lyney took action. "Fine, the hard way it is."
And with that, the elder nrother started, his finger trailing up and down the younger's back, dancing underneath his shoulder blades and trailing down his spine. "I have a new magic trick, and it'll make that frown - disappear into thin air!"
At Lyney's teasing, Ferminet's cheeks flushed a rosy red, yet he refused to give in so easily, which both Lyney and Lynette knew would happen, causing Lyney to use two daring finger's. What became two quickly became three, and what became three became four, until five finger's were gently fluttering the younger's back, making their way towards his ribs.
"My dear assistant, would you be ever so kind to keep count with me? After all, our dear Ferminet's ribs must be all over the place from how hard he's trying to keep that adorable pout in line!" Lyney keot up his teasing, his both sets of hands rested at his lower ribs. Ferminet's eyes opened up even wider, as his hands went to grab Lyney's, only to be stopped at Lynette caught hold of his wrists, holding his wrists slightly over his head.
"Sure." Lynette said plainly, yet her tone showed amusement. Lyney went right back into character as his thumbs wiggled over each rib.
"1.. 2.. 3.. 4.." The two counted, and at each wiggle against his ribcage, Ferminet ended up wriggling himself, that pout being replaced with that awfully adorable yet wobbly grin. His rosy cheeks popping out his sprinkled over freckles, as he shook his head slightly.
"9.. Uh oh, I seem to not recall my last number, what about you, dear sister?"
"No, I cannot remember either, do you, Ferminet?"
Ferminet could only whine as they teased him, after all, they all know how bad it was for him whenever they started heading towards the peak, his upper most ribs being more sensitive then his lower one's. "It's five! Count from five!" He spoke out.
Lyney smiled, "Aww, so you were counting with us? I didn't think you'd be the type to play along, even when you're already so sensitive! Kitchi-kitchi-koo!~" The magician chippered at his teases, giggling mischievously as he darted towards his highest set of ribs, thumbs gently massaging at the bundle of nerves.
Ferminet's eyes shut tightly, as his face contorted into an extra wide grin, laughter spilling out for the first time during this entire session, Lyney, and even Lynette, giggled alongside him, as the younger squirmed under their touch.
"L-Lynehehehey! Plehease, nohot thehehere! Mohove spohohots, plehease!" The diver helplessly curled up, legs kicking slightly, he almost hit Lyney, but he swiftly avoided the unintentional attack.
"Opting to hurt me now, are we? Fine, I'll move spots, I'll almost change my positioning!" The magician smiled, before moving himself so he was sitting on Ferminet's waist, he made sure both himself and Ferminet was comfortable, and as the diver showed no discomfort, he gently petted his head, assuring him he was okay.
"If it's too much, just shout 'stop' alright?" Lynette reminded, Ferminet nodding slightly. Lyney looked at the younger brother and thought, wondering if he should get this over with, after a bit of contemplation, he opted for his first toughts, as his hands hovered over the younger. His hands hovered between his hips and sides, being Ferminet's weakspot, as he finally descended down.
Ferminet's breath hitched, yet his smile widdened, despite Lyney's hand just resting on the spot, a large smirk enlaced his features. "My final trick is quite the tricky, I like to call it.. hm, I don't quite know, lets say a magician's trick, hm?" He winked, before taking his gloves off, and finally ending it all.
His fingers wriggled up and down, darting from his hips to his sides, making the younger buck and scream, his face hiding into the sleeves of his arm to not make so much noise. Lyney was skilled, persistent, as his gentle fingertips danced across these two spots rhythmically. While he wasn't paying attention, his arms were finally released, as Lynette joined in on the fun, her manicured nails gently teasing the side's of his neck and even scribbling under his chin. The younger kept his arms in place, this time over his chest, as his troso wriggled and his legs kicked behind Lyney.
"WahaAHAIT! NOHOT THAT! Lynehehette! NohoHo! AhahAHAHA! LYHEHENY!" He yelled at the two, as they both traded smiles.
"Oh? You're keeping your hands to yourself? How cute! Our little diver has some restraint~" Lyney smiled, giggling as Ferminet shoved at him weakly, only to shriek as Lyney kneaded between his hips and sides permanently, making the younger cackle his hardest yet.
"EHEK! WAHAHAIT! NOHOHO MOHORE! STOHOP!"
And with that word, both stopped immediately, arm's wrapping around him with a warm embrace, the magician chuckling.
"Awe, did you enjoy that?" Lyney smiled, only to hold his own chest as Ferminet nodded, giggles still spilling.
"So, you forgive us yet?" Lynette asked, her hand rubbing against his back, as Lyney just hugged him close, looking up at Ferminet with puppy dog eye's.
"Ugh.. fine." He smiled, giggling as Lyney cheered. "Now.. please take a shower, you'll both get sick."
And with that, the three decided to huddle up and snuggle until they all fell asleep, their apology accepted, yet definitely going to be given back tenfold someday.

Rainbow Roses
Tumblr media
After parting ways with the traveller and paimon. Lyney and Lynette decided to head home in silence, as always. Lyney's chattering and enthusiastic nature is never less, especially today since the matter of the phantom weasel is solved.
They arrived home and noticed Freminet is not inside. Lyney called one time but then guessed he was outside diving as always even in the late night.
"I must say," Lyney sighed blissfully, now lowering his hat, "Freminet really should consider socializing with others, making friends is one important thing in society right?"
Lynette had her stoic gaze shift to him now responding "Speaking of friends, I may have partially intended to distracted Charlotte but I was serious about the rainbow rose"
He was clueless for the time when she said this, but then her stare intensified, "So, do you want to tell me something, Lyney?"
He realised she was, in fact, stingy today, waving his hands with anxiety he shook his head. "Ah, Lynette, dear, please... I told you... that rainbow rose has nothing to do with any of my feelings, I love you more as always... am I one who is concerned for the floral symbolism?"
She continued staring, seeing his trickster side of avoiding the topic arise. She's even a bigger trickster after all, "Well, why did you change the flower out of the blue then?"
He was about to answer in a very inevitable manner as he always did but then noticed her steps advancing towards him. He staggered back in shock as she was quickly nose to nose, gently forcing him backwards.
"U-uh Lynette, w-wait... hold on... gah!" The back of his knees hit the couch, sending him squished on the cushions with a yelp, and she persistently pinned him down, her ears twitching and tail swishing in interrogative mode.
"So, I ask again, Lyney," she cracked her fingers. "I am in interrogation mode, so I'll use all sorts of means to get you to talk"
He began to giggle uneasily "Buhuhut whahahahat shohould I confess?"
She smirked, her emotions sadistic as she squeezed his waist through the fabric, making him squeak uncharacteristically.
"Gah -ahahalright, juhuhust ahahadmit you wahahahnted to puhuhunish me for your ehehehentertainment!!"
She blinked now, feigning innocence. "Punish is a strong word, bro... is that how you think of this situation?" all the while seeking to reach higher to his ribs getting more louder giggles as he squirmed and kicked his feet along with his pleads.
"You can interpret this however you want... but i want to know about the rainbow rose," She asked coolly, not stopping her assault on her older brother. A whine left his lips as he tried to get away from her nimble fingers. "Sohoho uhuhunfair! Lynehehehtte! Pleheheaase!"
She huffed like a child as he always adored in her. "Well, you're no fun. I guess I should take it up a notch to make you admit that you... oh wait, not yet." She shook her head now, "The show has just begun... i can't spoil it."
She aimed for his open armpits, making him squeal ridiculously, and she couldn't help smile at the sound. "Are you really my older twin brother, Lyney?"
"SHUHUSH... AHAHA THAHAHAT SPOHOT IHIHIS OHOHOUT OF THEHEHE QUESTION! STAHAHAHAP!"
She hummed now, thinking but already decided, "I... Will not, you must know that magicians shouldn't be impatient... or all those cards will be... exposed" she further drilled her fingers to the sensitive spot, making him kick harder, almost bucking her off. She midly states, "You have some nerve to keep these open and bare knowing how sensitive they are... It's like you enjoyed being tickled there"
"I HAHAHAVE NOHOHO SUHUHUCH IHIHINTENTION! GAHAHAHA I HAHAHAPPEN TOHOHO LIKE THIHIS GEHEHEHT-UHUHUP!"
She rolled her eyes, the typical honest and talkative Lyney. Then she stopped for a moment, his cheeks were flushed, the lovely French braided hair that was pinned loosened, and he had a delicate appearance. She folded her arms now, looking down at her victim. "I ask again..."
Expecting the same unanswerable question, he winced. However, she asked something entirely umexpected of his usual clever Instincts "Do you like the traveller?"
He paused, in bewilderment, "I... uh, " he stuttered."What... d-do you mean? H-he's a nice guy, right? Who doesn't like him?:
Clicking her tongue tauntingly she descended her fingers to his thighs where there his exposed skin met her wiggling fingers.
He jolted violently, before squeaking "Wait!"
"Don't avoid the question Lyney, unlike the others I can tell when you lie or hide, well explain to me in a romantic perspective,"
He offered an anxious chuckle, now feeling the cats out of the bag. "Ah, wait... wait, I... what makes you saAHAHAHAY AHAHA NOHOHO NOHOT THE THIGHS!"
She got impatient and got to the kill. In all honesty she wanted to tickle him, it was fun when he was in the receiving end, instead of Freminet, she never had been in his mercy since she's quick to get him back. But still... that question is genuine, she really wondered if the flower meant something to him.
He heard her voice taunting again, even with a straight face it got him good. "I am waaaiting~ Lyney... the tickles won't stop unless you confess"
He blushed harder and soon gave up in panic as she squeezed his knees through the stocking. "ALRIGHT ALRIGHT! HAHAHA LYNETTE, PLEHEHEASE, MEHEHERY!"
She backed away, fondly satisfied. Then watched him inhale deep breaths and wiling his tear stained eyes.
"Yohou showed me the reheheal concept of tickled pihink..."
She shrugged "Meh, that's not even closer to what I can do to you... this is just a side dish"
Shivering, he was glad to have her stop soon. Clearing his throat he looked at her now sitting straight "I... I guess I can't hide it but, ever since Charlotte said what rainbow roses signify, I just got too sentimental there..."
As always she listened to what he confesses. Blushing warmer he looked away "I guess, I kinda feel something for him... he's very brave and kind... something about him just makes me want to..." unable to fumble for the right word he sighed grimly "I'm not usually out of words"
"I know, it's so shocking that it might snow in fontaine"
"Don't be mean, Lynette" he pouted, but then felt a light smile grow on him as he patted her head, her ears twitched in rhythm to his mood, "Well, it's not that I love you any less, you are my number one, so not even flora can be enough to define you," he grinned with a sunshine smile, "I can tell you were actually jealous there. Weren't you?"
She merely gazed at him, good at concealing her own shyness, but he read her like a book just like she did for him. Feelinf the sudden shift in dominance, she soon poked his armpit, making him drop his arm with a giggle. She said seriously, "Well, I never doubted that... I wanted to cheer you up either way bro"
He subtly grabbed her shoulder by her sincerity, "We did go through all sorts of hardships... so I do have a closer relationship with you and Freminet."
She felt a slight warm relief when he seemed much happier than expected. She merely let her head rest on his shoulder now, indulging both of them with this gesture. "I know, so... I will support your love for the traveller"
He was flustered. "W-where did that come from... I don't even know if he'll like me back, so I just decided to keep it to ourselves"
She hummed with indolence her hand once again trying to poke his side, trying to make him listen to her for once, "You may be confident and brave on stage but you're so clumsily shy with love, Lyney"
"Hehehey... noho more ohof that..." he swatted her lazy hand, and they both began to keep a moment for themselves. Until Freminet comes back, noticing his older brother and sister fast asleep on the couch.
He scratched his head with slight awkwardness. "Should I wake them or...?"
Seeing their deep slumber, he decided to snuggle close to the middle by the floor and lean on Lyney's lap along with his stuffed penguin cuddled in his arms.
"Maybe not... for now"

A/N: Soooo, I just wrote this after waiting way to long and wanted to share it. Hope you guys like it!
If you asked Lyney what his favorite part of performing magic was, he would say it was seeing the reactions of the audience. This was partially true. There was no beating the satisfaction of seeing people's faces light up in wonder at the spectacles before them, but what was even greater was the smiles on their faces. Growing up, he and his sister had little to smile about. Life on the streets leads to a lot of mistrust, both on their own parts and of others. It was at his first magic show that, through his amazement of the showmanship and miracles before him, he turned to his sister and saw an even greater miracle, a smile on Lynette's face.
From that day forward, both he and Lynette dedicated themselves to the craft of magic. Lyney might have made the excuse that it was for money, but he knew the real reason was to get the chance to give others a sliver of joy through their day.
That love of seeing his sibling happy extended as he and his sister were adopted into the house of hearth. Upon meeting his new little brother, Freminet, he recognized the same seemingly expressionless look on his face as the very one Lynette seemed to have. He never thought he would want to see anyone smile as much as his sister, but he felt the bond of family towards this quiet, shy boy almost immediately, as if the three of them had always been siblings. And for the first time, Lynette felt the same need to make him smile as well.
Maybe it was an older sibling's instinct, to protect and provide while also making sure the youngest was the happiest they could be. Or maybe it was the fact that Lynette saw a bit of herself in him. Someone who was quiet and preferred to work in the shadows while the real star of the show shined in the spotlight. Though he didn't participate in their shows, he had other ways of bringing joy to the masses while staying out of the limelight. For instance, he designed Pers himself, and he allowed a local toy company to sell miniature versions of his adorable machine. That way, he could share this small joy he had with other kids around Fontaine.
Needless to say, both siblings were always determined to see Freminet happy. They would commonly rehearse their shows and workshop new magic tricks in front of him, looking to see what made him smile the most. They would always ask for his feedback, both for their own improvement and to give him a chance to feel that he contributed to the show. Almost every rehearsal left him in amazement, no matter how many times he had seen it. The only suggestion he had ever made was adding Peres to the show. Both twins thought it was only fitting that they added what was essentially their brothers mascot to some of their performances.
After workshopping some new tricks, they settled on one where he would pop out of Lyneys hat, waddle over to Lynette, then walk into her hat and disappear, only for it to reappear and waddle offstage.
"So," Lynette asked after his bow at the grand finale, "What do you think?"
Fremite was already smiling ear to ear as he watched his creation cutely walk away.
"That was amazing! How did you even get him to wind back up again?"
Lynette smirked as she went to retrieve the mechanical penguin. "You know we can't tell you the answer to that."
Freminet sighed as Pers was handed back to him. "I suppose, but that won't stop me from wondering."
"Wonder is all part of the show," Lyney chuckled as he went to ruffle his brother's hair. "I can tell this trick will be a hit. I think Pers makes a wonderful addition to our performance."
Freminet swatted his hand away and attempted to fix his hair. "Why are you so sure people will like it? I thought you guys go through tricks all the time, and you hardly ever settle on one so quickly."
"Well, if it could make you smile then it could make anyone smile." Lyney gently grabbed back Pers and held him out, making it look like he was walking towards Freminet. "I think it's a great trick." Lyney spoke in a high pitched voice, his impression of what he believed Pers sounded like.
Freminet struggled to suppress another grin. "You're so childish." He turned to Lynette for some support.
"He's right you know," She gestured to Lyney, "If something can make you happy then it's surely worth adding to the full show."
Fremite gave a groan as he snatched back his beloved penguin. "What is it with you two and mentioning me smiling whenever you get the chance. Do I really smile that rarely?"
Lynette huffed in amusement. "I'd say it's pretty rare. Even when you were a child you wouldn't smile all that often."
"True," Lyney chimed in, "it seemed like the only thing that ever made you really laugh was the games we used to play."
A pink blush appeared on Freminets freckled face, remembering him and his siblings acting out various myths and fairytales he had read about. The previous director had berated Freminet for reading these fairy tales, claiming he was too naive and needed to grow up. After that, he had hidden away his stories, that is until his siblings were adopted into the house of hearth. It was their companionship that made him want to share his stories with them. Though they didn't believe in fairy tales themselves, they saw how happy it made him, and of course they found ways to incorporate the stories into games. With their help, he slowly conditioned himself out of the habits imposed on him by the previous director and started nurturing that part of himself again. As he grew, he had less time for games, and sometimes felt he was too old for them. Even so, he still found joy in these stories.
"T-that was a long time ago." He responded.
"Not to us," Lynette said, "and last I checked you still love reading your books. Why should enjoying games be any different?"
"Because, they're..." He really had no defense. If he was being honest he did find a part of himself missed playing those games. But another part of him found it all too embarrassing. No, embarrassed wasn't the right word for it. Flustered. That's how he felt remembering those games. Still, he couldn't say he hated it.
"If I remember right, there's one fairy tale you were always particularly interested in." Lyney said.
Freminet racked his brain trying to remember which story he could be referring to. That's when he noticed the creeping grin on his brother's face and his wiggling fingers.
"The story goes that there lives fae's in the woods that love making people laugh."
His eyes widened suddenly as memories flooded back to him. The tale of the tickling fae's had been one of his favorite stories. So much so that his siblings started making up games where they would act as the mischievous creatures and do everything they could to get him laughing.
"I'm sure you're starting to remember the tickle fae's. You must, you're already turning pink. You must remember how fae's love finding people who are grumpy and tickle all the grumpiness right out of them."
Freminet felt a grin starting to form as he covered his face. He had always been extremely susceptible to teasing, which Lyney was exceptionally good at.
"Lyney, plehehehease!" He giggled, already feeling ticklish from the teasing alone.
"Please what, brother of mine? Please tickle you until you can't stop smiling?" His grin could have been mistaken for one of pure evil, but Freminet knew it was all a part of his "Fae persona", where he and Lynette would become ruthless tickle monsters.
"I-I'm already smiling!"
"True, but we've hardly gotten to see it lately. I say we should make up for lost time." He had been getting more and more occupied diving and going on missions, hardly getting the chance to spend time with them. The more he thought about it, the more he felt himself missing getting to laugh with them. Still, tickling was just so childish and silly, he wasn't sure he could handle it all without dying from being so flustered.
Suddenly, Lynette seemed to be right behind him, swiftly grabbing both his wrists and pulling his arms above his head. Freminet tried to hide his face, now with a full smile, by turning his head into his shoulder, but Lynette's grip held strong and he could only cover half his face.
"Well well well, it looks like this grumpy gus has fallen into the tickle fae's trap."
"Whahahait, lets talk abohohouht this!"
"Laughing already?" Lyney chuckled. "Seems like nothings changed, you're as ticklish as ever. And you aren't even trying to get away, just trying to hide your smile from us."
Freminet couldn't even bear to open his eyes, fearing that just looking at his siblings would cause them to attack. Still, the anticipation was killing him, and every second that passed felt like an hour.
"Stop teasing! I cahahan't help it!"
"I'll stop teasing you when you stop hiding your smile from us. The tickling fae's will get to see it one way or another, you might as well show it now."
He knew that his siblings wouldn't let up any time soon, and the build up was killing him. Against his better judgment, he turned his face to look at Lyney. "Fhihihine, are you happy no- NOHOHOHOHOHO!"
Just as he had suspected, the moment he made eye contact Lyney started scribbling under his arms. He tried to pull them down but Lynette kept his arms up and high. She wasn't usually one to tease, but she had a soft smile on her face as she looked at the hysterical boy.
"There's that smile! See? That wasn't so hard."
"Yehehehes it was!"
"Well, you've done it at least. Now, which of the fae's games should we play?"
There were a few games the twins had come up with over the years to entertain their brother. Counting ribs, tracing shapes, having to choose which spot to be targeted, you name it and they had played it.
"Hm," Lynette finally chimed in, "How about we let him choose for himself."
"Nohohoho! Dohohon't make me chohohohose!" He giggled Lyney hovered his hands over him in suspense.
"If you don't pick then we'll just have to play all the games! Better choose fast, grumpy gus, or the fae's will choose for you!"
Freminet could hardly think straight through his laughter. He had extensive experience diving, and with that came good control of his breath, but these attacks always tested that ability, and he found it hard to concentrate on anything when he was this breathless from laughter.
"We'll give you till the count of 3 to choose, then the fae's will go through all their games on you!" Lyney teased. "One..." He wiggled his fingers ever so closer to his ribs. "Two..."
"THE SHAPE THING!" Freminet shouted.
"Hm? Not sure what game you're referring to, you'll have to say the name."
"T-the one where you trace shapes, and I have to guess what shape it is..."
"Oh! You mean constellations."
The name came from an old version of the game where they would trace Freminet's freckles. One day after reading a book about mythology, Freminet became sad that they couldn't see the stars from the city. To cheer him up, the twins pretended his face was the night sky and traced their own constellations as they made up their own stories, and when they ran out of room on his face they started tracing the freckles that lined his back and stomach. Freminet proved to be too ticklish to pay attention to anything, so they began a new game where he would have to guess what shape they were trying to make.
"It's been so long since we played that one. Here, I'll start with something easy."
Lyney lifted his shirt up to trace across his stomach. He used a single finger to trace out a circle right around his belly button.
"Hehehehee, I thihihihink its a circle?"
"Ding! That's right." Lynette smiled. "Hey, you shouldn't peak, that's cheating."
"Ihihihi wasn't lohohohoking!"
"Hmm, alright. I'll let you off the hook this time," She teased as she switched to holding his arms with just one hand. "It's my turn now." Right where the bicep met the under arm, she began tracing what was supposed to be the shape of a cat's head.
"Ihihihis it a house?"
"Nope." She suddenly scribbled his under arm, making him squeak.
That was one part of the game Freminet had forgotten: if he guessed wrong, they would unleash a sudden tickle attack wherever it was they were tracing.
"WAIAIAIAIT! A PERSON!"
"Still wrong." She continued scribbling her fingers over his bicep.
"IHIHIHIHI DON'T KNOW!"
"Giving up already?" Lyney laughed.
"YEHEHEHES, JUST TELL ME!"
"How unfortunate, it was supposed to be the face of a cat." She decided to show some mercy and went back to holding his arms with both hands.
"That's way too complex," Freminet wheezed through his remaining giggles.
He still hadn't thrown in the towel yet, and the twins knew that meant he was having fun, even if he wouldn't admit it. Lyney glanced to the side and saw Pers lying on the ground and an idea came to him. He snickered to himself as he picked up the mechanical penguin.
"Look at that, it seems that Pers wants to help make you laugh as well." He held out Pers, this time slowly walking him towards the younger brother to participate.
"Come on, friend," He once again said in his high-pitched impression of Pers, "I love seeing your smile, too." He slowly moved the penguin closer to Freminets torso and suddenly had him 'pecking' at his tummy.
"Nohohoho! Thihihihis is tohohoho much!"
"You used to love Pers' tickle attacks, remember?" He continued gently brushing Pers beak across his torso. Freminet would never admit it, but he did in fact used to love when they would pretend Pers wanted to join in the tickle attacks.
"Ihihihi cahahant!"
"Can't what? Can't stop giggling? That's the whole idea, little brother."
Lynette, deciding to up the game and join in the fun, suddenly releases his arms to squeeze at his ribs. Freminet threw back his head in laughter, trying his best to swat away the hands now scribbling all over his torso.
Before Lyney decided to set Pers aside, he had one more trick up his sleeve.
"I think someone could use some raspberries," he said in his Pers voice while moving him back and forth, "but I can't because of my beak." Lyney pretended to have a conversation with the little bird. "Well that just won't do. I'll just have to give him some raspberries on your behalf."
Freminet started giggling hysterically as Lynette once again took his arms to hold above his head.
"Whahahahait! Nohohohohohot thahahat!" Raspberries we're something he was especially weak against. Something about the silly noise accompanied by the ticklish sensation sent him up the wall every time, to the point he would get tears in his eyes from laughing so hard. Even just the threat of raspberries against him made him turn to a mess of hiccupy laughter.
"I'm just doing this on behalf of your friend," Lyney sang, "he's the one that wants to give you lots of raspberries. Who am I to turn down his request?" He lifted up his shirt just high enough to see his belly.
"Lyney wahahaHAHAHAHAHAH!" He was cut off as Lyney finally blew the biggest raspberry he could right above his bellybutton. He instantly started squirming like his life depended on it, kicking his legs and shaking his head back and forth. He heard his siblings laughing along with him.
"I haven't seen you this happy in a long time," Lynette chucked. "We should do this more often."
"NAHAHAHAHAHA WE SHOULD- BAHAHAHA!" He was immediately cut of by another barrage of raspberries, all in quick succession and all over his tummy.
"ALRIGHT! TIME OUT!" He squealed as he kicked his feet in the air.
Lyney couldn't help but laugh at the look on his face, eyes squinted and cheeks bright as tomatoes. Nonetheless, he stopped immediately, as they always did when he officially asked for a time out. Lynette followed, releasing his arms and allowing him to curl up into a ball, residual tickles still making him giggle like mad.
"Are you alright?" She asked. She was usually the one to check first to make sure their brother hadn't been pushed too far.
Between his remaining laughter he replied, "Y-yeah, I'm alright. Its just... been a while since I've laughed like that."
"I'll say," Lyney chimed in as he handed him back Pers. "We have to start bringing more games back." He laughed as Freminet covered the blush returning to his face. "Only if you want to, of course. The whole point of this is to make you happy."
Freminet groaned. "I-I like the games, I just... Don't know if I'm getting too old for them."
"I don't think there should be an age limit on something that brings you joy," Lynette said as she wrapped her brother in an embrace.
"Agreed, dear sister. And what did the fae's say about covering that smile?" Lyney poked him in the ribs, causing him to put down his arms with a squeak.
"Ohohokay! I'll try not to cover my face anymore."
By the time he had finally recovered, Lynette had made tea for the three of them.
"Isn't it a bit late for tea?" Lyney asked.
"It's the non-caffeinated kind. I believe it's an herbal blend from Liyue, it's actually supposed to help you sleep." She took a sip herself, taking a deep breath in to get a full scent of the aroma. Her brothers followed, feeling relaxed already.
It wasn't long after they had finished that Freminet let out a yawn. The tea really did wonders.
"I don't think I can stay awake long enough to change out of my clothes," He said, eyes already drooping with sleepiness. The twins appeared just as tired as he did.
"Well, we can always shower in the morning," Lyney said as he laid back on the couch.
"Are you at least going to sleep in your bed?" Lynette said as she walked over to him.
"Nope, too tired."
Lynette and Freminet were about to leave to their own rooms when they both felt a hand pull them back to the couch. They both yelped in surprise, falling back and being pulled into their brother's embrace.
"Lyney, we have to go to our rooms!" Lynette stated, though amusement was evident in her tone.
"Lets sleep out here tonight," he responded. "Or I could just tickle the both of you until you agree."
They both felt a sudden squeeze at their sides, sending both of them into laughing fits.
"Ohohohokay! We'll stay!" She answered. "Just give us a break!"
Fortunately Lynet was too tired to dish out the same treatment on her as he did their brother. They both relaxed into his embrace as they closed their eyes for the night. Not even a few minutes later Lyney could hear the soft snores of both of them, and Friment could be seen holding Pers close to his chest. He smiled softly at the two of them, letting himself slowly drift off to sleep.
Yep, seeing his family happy and safe in his arms was all the magic he needed.

if possible.....can we have lee!freminet........potentially ler!lyney and/or lynette
“L-Lyney!” Freminet gasps, a rosy blush beginning to take over his cheeks.
“Freminet!” Lyney exclaims mockingly, a dumb smug grin on his lips. “Is something wrong, dear brother?”
“Yehes!” Freminet whines, then snaps his mouth shut — he’s not giving Lyney the satisfaction of hearing him laugh, not yet.
Lyney pouts, poking sporadically at random areas on Freminet’s torso. “Aw, but I’m just trying to make you smile. There’s nothing wrong with that, is there?” He’s trying to sound disappointed, but nothing can mask the wide smile he’s sporting.
Freminet hides his face with both hands, embarrassed. This is so stupid and childish and he hates that he’s fully enjoying it. He reaches out to Lynette, who sits on the couch a few feet away. "H-hehelp me," he pleads, giggles nearly breaking through his poorly constructed dam.
She hums, closing her book and setting it on the table beside her. "You should give up," she tells Lyney, kneeling down next to the two of them. "Clearly, it's not working."
Lyney scoffs, pausing to turn and talk to her. Freminet takes a few breaths, though a nervous smile is still tugging at his lips. "It will eventually!" Lyney argues, rolling his eyes. "Really, Lynette, you just have to break him down—"
"Or," Lynette interjects, pressing her fingertips into the spaces between Freminet's ribs, "you could do this."
Instantly, Freminet bursts into helpless giggles, flushing as he realises that Lynette isn't even moving her fingers. He curses his own sensitivity.
Lyney coos. "There we go!" His hands return to Freminet's middle. "Alright, will you laugh for me now?"

Tickletober 2023 Week 2 (Genshin Impact)
Tumblr media
A/N: Is my Lyney obsession apparent yet?
Summary: Lumine "helps" Lyney out with his new trick!
Characters: lee!Lyney, ler!Lumine
“Hey, Lumine! Over here!”
Lumine had been taking a nice stroll around the Court when she suddenly heard a familiar voice call out to her, but nobody was there.
“...Lyney?”
“Boo!”
“WAH!” Lumine yelped as Lyney snuck up behind and tasered her sides, surprising her. “L-Lyney! Why!?”
“Just because~” he sniggered.
Lumine put her hands on her hips and frowned at him. “Your voice sounded like it was coming from over there,” she pointed towards the Fountain of Lucine. “How did you…?”
“A magician never reveal-”
“Yeah yeah, I know.”
“Hmph,” Lyney copied her stance. “Well, since you’re here, mind helping me out with a new trick I’ve been working on? Lynette’s busy.”
Lumine sighed. “Sure, why not?”
Lyney led her over towards a nearby tree. He took out a thick red ribbon.
“Now, would you mind tying my wrists together with this?”
Lumine nodded and took the ribbon. Lyney held out his hands and kept his wrists together for her.
“Make sure it’s really secure.”
She pulled the ribbon taut as she finished off the last knot. “There you are.”
“Thank you kindly. If you’d like, you may take the excess and tie it to one of those branches up there.” He gestured upwards.
“Are you sure?”
“Absolutely,” Lyney smiled confidently.
Lumine reached up and wrapped the ends of the ribbon to a low hanging branch, suspending Lyney’s arms above his head. She stepped back and said, “All done.”
“Wonderful. Now, watch as Lyney, the greatest magician in all Teyvat, frees himself from these binds!”
Lyney tugged, twisted, and squirmed, but to no avail.
“Pfft, ahaha! You’re stuck, aren’t you?”
“Hey! D-don’t laugh!”
He tried again and again, but it appeared Lumine’s knots had thwarted him.
“Erm… A little help?” He finally asked, sheepishly.
“Oh? Help, you say? Hmm…”
“Come on, Lumine!” Lyney whined.
“Oh, I know! I think you just need a little motivation.”
Lyney looked puzzled. That was, until he saw Lumine’s menacing expression and wiggling fingers and, suddenly, it clicked.
“W-w-wahait, I-I’m not sure if that will hehehEHEHEHEHELP!”
Lumine playfully poked Lyney’s sides, massaged his ribs, and skittered her fingers all over his conveniently exposed underarms. “This’ll motivate you to get out of there, huh?”
“EEEHEHE noHOHOhohoho! Lumihihihine!”
“Coochie coochie coo~! Ha, you’re just as bad as Aether!”
She continued spidering her fingers up and down his arms, Lyney’s laughter peaking whenever she got close to his underarms again.
“Or worse! Bad spot?”
“Yehehehehes! P-plehehehehehease, at leheheheast go somewhere ehehehelse!”
“Hmm, no. I think I’ll stay here for a little while longer.”
“Nohohohooo! This is embahahahaharrassing!”
Curious Bystander: “Is that… Lyney?”
“AAAHH LUMIHIHIHINE! NOHOHOT THAHAHAHAHAHAT!” Lyney cried, blushing a rosy shade of pink.
Curious Bystander: “And the Traveler!?”
Lumine was skillfully vibrating her fingers in Lyney’s hollows. This was one of the tactics she used to use on her brother, and it seemed to be working quite well on this other blonde twin, too!
“It’s like you dress this way on purpose.” Lumine commented, unaware of the crowd that was slowly gathering around them.
“IHIHI DOHO- *snort* DOHOHOHON’T!”
“He does.”
“Lynette!? Whahahat are you dohohohoing heheheheEEHEHEYAAAHAHA STAHAHAHAHAHAP!!”
Without stopping her torment, Lumine turned to smile at Lynette.
“Couldn’t wait a couple hours for me?” Lynette chided. “Unbelievable. Now look what you’ve gotten yourself into”
Shocked Bystander: “I can’t believe it, it really is them!”
“I’m sahahahahahaharry!”
Curious Bystander: “Who knew he was so ticklish?”
“Lumine, you should try gently pinching his inner thighs. Dives him crazy.”
Lumine, with a devilish look on her face, squatted and grasped Lyney’s plush thighs.
“Lynette I swear to gaAAHAHAHAHA! IHIHI’LL GET YOU BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHACK FOR THIHIHIHIS!!!”
Lyney threw his head back as he laughed, tears of mirth beginning to flood his eyes as his hat fell to the ground. He kicked out his legs pathetically.
“Wow, he really is worse than Aether! And I thought my brother was the most ticklish boy in all Teyvat,” Lumine remarked.
Lynette giggled softly.
Excited Bystander: “Get him, get him!”
Confused Bystander: “Is this some kind of magic trick or…?”
“LUMINE! CUT IT OHOHOHOHOHOHOHOHOUT!! LYNETTE, HEHEHEHEHEHEHEHELP MEHEHEHEHE!!”
“You got yourself into this mess, you can get yourself out of it.”
“IHIHI CAHAHAHAHAHAN’T!!!”
Concerned Bystander: “Poor thing, he’s too ticklish for his own good!”
Lumine found an especially sensitive spot on Lyney’s upper thigh and honed in on it. Lyney shrieked.
“AAAAAAAHAHAHAHA NAHAHAHAHAT THEHEHEHEHEHEHERE!! PLEHEHEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEHEHEHEHEHEHEHEASE STAHAHAHAHAHAHAP!!!”
Shocked Bystander: “He’s a little shrill, isn’t he?”
“IHIHIHIHI’LL DO AHAHAHAHANYTHI-WAH!!”
With all his struggling, Lyney had loosened the knot and fell to the ground with a resounding thud.
“Ahahahaow…”
“Show’s over, folks,” Lynette said, waving the crowd away.
“See? You did it!” Lumine encouraged as she reached out her hand to help him back up. Lyney took it, gratefully.
Lynette picked up her twin’s hat and plopped it unceremoniously back onto his head, obscuring his eyes. Lyney staggered backwards, but Lumine kept him upright. He adjusted his hat and made eye contact with Lumine. He panicked and covered his eyes with the brim of his hat again, bashfully.
“S-so, uhm…” Lyney stuttered.
“Come on, Lyney. Let’s go rehearse for real,” Lynette said as she grabbed one of Lyney’s now free wrists, beginning to drag him along. “See you later, Lumine.”
“Oh, okay! See you guys later!”
“M-meet me for dinner at Hotel Debord, 7pm, my treat! Okay?” Lyney shouted out, waving to Lumine as Lynette continued to pull him away.
“Sounds great,” Lumine beamed, waving back. “See you then!”

TickleTober2023/Day 09 - Mirrors
Genshin Impact - Lyney x Aether
Tumblr media
Aether held the small mirror in his hands, looking down to peek at his own reflection while Lyney and Lynette decided something about how they should place everything on stage. He wasn’t sure why the twins asked for his help instead of Freminet’s, but the latter probably found a good excuse to avoid taking part in their rehearsal.
At that point, he wasn’t exactly sure why the twins would need his help, but it was not like he minded tagging along - especially if it meant being around the best magician in all Teyvat for a couple more minutes.
“Distracted by your image, traveler?” Lyney muttered close to his ear, making Aether almost drop the mirror as he jumped in his place, startled by the other’s presence all of the sudden. “I don’t judge , I could spend all day looking at you as well,” he added, moving his hands over the traveler’s arms and helping him hold the mirror, lifting it a bit so both of them could be reflected by it.
“You- sigh, you scared me, don’t sneak up on me like that, I could’ve hurt you,” Aether pouted, turning his eyes back to the mirror to see Lyney smiling behind him.
“Worrying about me?” He teased, looking down to the mirror in their hands and spotting a frown taking place in the traveler’s face, followed by his eyes rolling. The magician grinned, leaning his face a little closer to Aether’s. “Come on, I was just playing around… we can’t have you wasting your handsome smile like that, can we?”
Before Aether could understand the meaning of those words, Lyney dragged his hands across his arms, sneaking them under his arms and prodding at the sensitive spot. The traveler squealed in surprise, giggles began to pour out of his lips as his hands tightened the grip around the small mirror - which was now reflecting his wide smile.
“L-Lynehehey! AhAHAH, q-quihihit it!” He pleaded, pressing his elbows down against his sides as he felt the magician’s fingers poking and wiggling into his underarm and ribs.
Lyney grinned along, pulling Aether into a tight hug and resting his head on his shoulder. Getting a good glance over the mirror in the traveler’s hands, Lyney managed to see how much he was smiling. “Mhm, you look even prettier smiling like this and- oh, are you blushing, traveler?”
Pressing his eyes shut, Aether tried his best efforts to escape the ticklish embrace, but it was all with no avail. “Stohohop tahaAHAhalking!!”
Fearing he would drop the mirror that should be part of the twin’s performance at any moment, he attempted to get down to his knees, but only managed to be followed to the ground by Lyney, who was now digging into his exposed sides. “E-enohOHough! AhAHA, plehehease!”
The magician, however, didn’t seem to care much about his request, taking one of his hands to the middle of Aether’s stomach, circling his navel. “What? No way, traveler ~ Seeing you smile in person is a waaay better than looking at your reflection. You don’t expect me to lose such a sight, right?”
Aether blushed at Lyney’s flirts, groaning through his laughter since it was all he could do to protest against the cheesy comments. That damned magician, if he only wasn’t so charming…
Tumblr media
A/N: Sooo, this was actually planned to be a ler!Aether fic to go along with the rest, buuuut I couldn't resist of the idea of Lyney flirting with him along the way, so here we are. Hope you guys enjoyed it ~

Tumblr media Tumblr media
Freminet’s mood hasn’t been the best lately, so he goes to his older brother, expecting the usual list of errands Lyney makes him run, but Lyney has different plans.
Lee!Freminet / Ler!Lyney (platonic/familial)
Tumblr media
Freminet’s fingers tapped the window softly as he watched the raindrops trickle down. Nothing made him feel as gloomy as a rain storm did. Usually, when bad memories came back to him, he would busy himself with tasks for his siblings, or spending time with the Tidalga deep down Fontaine’s sea. But it was getting dark, and diving in the dark is dangerous, even for a professional like Freminet, and Lyney and Lynette weren't home yet, probably busy entertaining children somewhere in the Court of Fontaine.
Freminet let out a soft sigh, turning the key on his clockwork penguin, Pers', back. A clicking sound was heard, and soon his little feet began moving upside down. Freminet smiled, and placed his friend down in the window sill before him.
"At least you're here with me, Pers," he said under his breath. Just as he started thinking of ways to upgrade Pers' clockwork system, he heard the front door click. Freminet took Pers back into his lap, and looked at the doorframe to the living area expectantly. Soon, he heard his brother's voice. "I'm home, Fremi! Are you here?"
"I'm here, Lyney," Freminet said, just loud enough for Lyney to hear from the hallway. Although he was bored a moment ago, he immediately missed the peace and quiet from before every time his brother spoke. Don't misunderstand, Freminet loved Lyney lots, it was just hard to get used to the way his voice and energy lit up any room he entered, even after all those years. "Little brother! What a nice surprise, I suspected you'd still be diving around this time," Lyney said, placing his hat on a table.
Freminet didn't say anything, but he shook his head no, opting to staring out the window again. By the way his eyebrows were furrowed in the slightest, and his eyes looked gloomier then usual, Lyney could tell something was bothering his younger brother. His head tilted, and he sat down on the couch next to him. Freminet didn't react to the cushion shifting. Instead, he looked down at his hands, and at Pers. "What's the matter, Fremi? You're not usually this quiet. You'd be telling me all about the otters and the aberrants by now. Is it the rain?" Lyney asked, his voice soft, full with love and care, which is how he usually talked to his little brother.
Freminet shrugged. "I guess. I would've liked to stay out longer today, but it started to rain as soon as I went out to dive. So I stayed in today." Lyney didn't say anything, giving Freminet the space to continue talking, even though he didn't want to. But the silence was worse, so he decided to just be open about his feelings to his brother. "I've been thinking of... the past, as well. It's hard not to when I have nothing else to keep my mind occupated with."
Lyney nodded in understanding. The magician was great at concealing his feelings with his extroverted facade, unlike Freminet. But deep down, he struggled with memories of his past of betrayal as well. "Then we'll have to distract you, won't we? It's no good to dwell on the past, Fremi," Lyney said, back to his usual cheerful self. Freminet looked up at him. "You're gonna give me a task? I'll do it, even though it's raining..."
Lyney chuckled. "I wouldn't send you out into the rain like that, little brother." Freminet's head tilted. "No, Lynette's already getting all the groceries we need for dinner. I have an even better idea!" Freminet jumped when he suddenly felt his brother's hands latch onto his sides, gently. "L-Lyney-!" he called, unable to think of anything to say to change his brother's mind. This hadn't been the first time Lyney had used this method to cheer Freminet's mood up, and though Freminet would never admit it, it usually worked.
"It's been a while since I've seen you smile, Fremi, I think it's about time~!" Lyney sang, teasing by tapping his fingers against his little brother's sides repeatedly. This made Freminet squirm, nervous shivers running through his body. "You don't have to, Lyney, I f-feel fine!" he protested, trying his absolute hardest to keep his facial expression stoic, but failing when Lyney pushed him against the side of the couch and poked his stomach a few times. A slight smile crept up on his face, and he quickly snatched a pillow to hide his face into. Lyney laughed. Whether it be a pillow, his hands, or Pers, Freminet would always find a way to hide his face from Lyney's eyes. "P-Please..", Freminet said, his voice shaky from held back giggles.
"If anything, you were asking for it Fremi, looking so sad, staring out the window like that... I couldn't just not tickle you!" As soon as Lyney said that, his fingers started spidering all over Freminet's tummy. Soon, giggles were heard from behind the pillow, and Freminet squirmed underneath Lyney. His hands determinedly stayed on the pillow covering his face. "Cut it ohohout Lynehehey!" Freminet said through his giggles. "Cut it out? But I've only just started! After all, I still haven't seen your smile Fremi! Maybe I should tickle you some more, hm?"
"Nohohohoo~!"
Lyney chuckled. Ignoring his little brother's pleas, his hands moved to Freminet's sides, where they squeezed over and over again until the diver's body was moving side to side, trying and failing to avoid the magician's fingers. At this point, Freminet's arms started twitching, his body telling him to push his brother away or cover his waist with his arms, while his mind was telling him to keep the pillow in place. Just thinking about his brother indulging in the look on Freminet's face while he was being tickled to death made his cheeks turn as pink as a marcotte flower. Lyney noticed this of course, as he had every other time Freminet needed cheering up in this way. He knew exactly how to make the boy give in, and he would get to it eventually. First, he just wanted him to have fun.
"Come on Fremi, show me that pretty smile of yours~" Lyney plead, momentarily reducing his tickling to occasional pokes to Freminet's sides. "N-Never, it's too embarassing..." the diver stammered, slightly peeking over the pillow to look at his brother. His disheveled made Lyney laugh softly. "Alright then, I guess I'll have to change it up once again..."
"Cohohom on!" Freminet giggled, even though Lyney hadn't really started yet, he knew exactly what was coming. Lyney simply smirked as his hands moved up to Freminet's ribs, all ten of his fingers digging in, prodding and poking and counting every single rib.
"L-Lynehehey I- Pleahahase!" Freminet laughed, his arms shaking now. His body twisted, doing anything he could to keep the tickly sensations to a minimum, but it was no use. "What will you do, Fremi~? I'm not gonna stop!" Lyney sang.
It didn't take very long for Freminet to give in. He had good endurance, but when Lyney attacked one of his worst spots like that... There was no way he would've been able to hold his arms up for any longer. His hands flailed, trying to protect his own body and trying to push Lyney's hands away both at once. His squirming soon made the pillow fall off his face, revealing a bright smile, accompanied by a fuly pink face, slight tears dwelling up in the corners of Freminet's eyes. "I f-feel behehetter! Please, enohohough!" Freminet begged through his laughs. Lyney couldn't help but smile himself as well. It felt amazing seeing his little brother laugh and smile again, so much that he almost forgot he had completed his goal of seeing Freminet smile and kept tickling him for a bit longer than necessary. He stopped before Freminet would actually cry from being tickled too much, though the diver wouldn't stop giggling for a minute or two after.
"T-that.. was so.. unnecessary!" Freminet complained, glaring at his brother. Lyney laughed. "No need to hide your true feelings, Fremi, I've known you long enough to know you loved it~" Lyney winked, gently combed his fingers through Freminet's hair for a second to undo the mess the squirming made. Freminet blushed, not saying a thing, though he tried to hide a small smile behind his hand. Soon the front door clicked again, and Lynette's voice was heard through the house. Lyney left the living room to make dinner, and Freminet looked down at Pers, who was lying abandoned on the living room floor.
"Sorry, Pers..."

hello!! ⭐️
this was SOO fun to write ive been dying to write for Lyney UGH
i hope it was okay i wrote Aether instead of Lumine, i just find him easier to write. enjoyyy🫶
Lyney flared out the stack of playing cards, smiling smugly at the traveler standing in-front of him.
"Traveler~ Be a dear and pick a card for me, will you?" He asked, holding said cards out to him.
Aether simply tilted his head after being stopped in his tracks, shrugging before sliding out a card from the middle. "Hello to you to, I guess."
"Ah, my apologies.. Hello, Aether. Remember that card, yes?" He corrected himself, confirming Aether had a memory of his pick before taking the card back.
"Now, prepare to be amazed, dear traveler!" Lyney exclaimed, shuffling the cards in a way that told Aether he had done this many times before. "Was.. this your card?"
As he spoke, he pulled a card from the top of the deck and flipped it to Aether's view dramatically. The black diamond card glistened slightly, and the shorter just chuckled. "It might've been."
"Ta-da~" Lyney hummed, sliding his cards into a pocket.
"You know, ive been practicing my own magic lately, Lyney." Aether replied, huffing a laugh at the excited expression the other showed.
"You have?" He gasped, "Well, I've obviously taken a toll on you! Who else would you get inspiration from, hm?"
"Lynette." The traveler cut him off slightly, watching the magician's face drop. "Pfft, relax.. I was just kidding, it was you."
"You tease.." Lyney crossed his arms over his chest, before his smile returned. "Though, you'll have to do a trick for me. And maybe if your lucky, I can teach you a thing or two~"
"Isn't that against the magicians code?" Aether joked, laughing softly before taking a few steps closer to him. "I can show you a trick. You'll have to close your eyes though."
"Well, how could I ever say no to a offer like that?" Lyney smirked, letting his arms fall to his sides and closing his eyes.
"Thats good," The shorter praised, moving to stand behind him. "Prepare to be amazed, Lyney~"
With that, he dug his fingers into the backs of Lyney's ribs and wiggled his nails gently into the skin. The taller gasped loudly, falling back into Aether's chest on reflex as he laughed.
"Aether!" is the only word he managed to get out before he was cut off by his own giggles. "stohohop thahat! Thahats uhunfair!"
"Well, I think its pretty fair." He replied in a unbothered tone, like he was completely oblivious to his hands that were now spidering down to his hips.
"Wehell Ihi- don't!" He yelped when he felt Aether's hand linger towards the side of his thigh, barely grazing over the fabric of his tights. He tried to move forward out of his grasp, but the traveler held a firm arm around his waist to keep him as still as he could. "Ihi'll fall!.."
"Huh.." Aether pretended to be deep in thought, before scribbling his fingers into the squishy surface. "Not gonna lie.. that kind of sounds like a you problem. I'd be happy to help though, if you'd do something for me."
The squeal the magician let out earned a few strange looks from the passerby's, his knees buckling slightly before he pushed them back straight. "Whahat do yohou wahant?"
"Well, thats no way to ask is it?" He asked rhetorically, sensing that Lyney might actually fall if he continued in that particular spot for any longer.. So with that logic, he moved up to squish pouch of skin at his sides.
"people ahare staharing! I hahave a reputation yohou know!" He argued, squirming back into the figure behind him like that would make the sensation any less unbearable. "Juhust tehell me!"
"Well.. its simple really, all you have to do is.." Aether paused, moving to whisper in the other's ear. "-admit that you like this."
Lyney gasped and moved his head away, squeezing his already shut eyes. "Wihill- will yohou stohop?"
"Probably not." The traveller shrugged, laughing at the whine that tore from Lyney's throat. "Okay, okay! I will.."
"Yohou behetter.." His laugh turned to soft breathy giggles as aether switched his squeezing to soft in poking and prodding.
"Ihi guess.. I guess its not horrible?" He whispered, his cheeks flushing up in embarrassment. "Now.. let me go! I have a show soon y'know, I'm a magician, not a toy.."
"Alright, alright~ I had my fun." Aether sighed happily, releasing him from his grasp. "And before you ask, yes, I'll come to your show."
"You know me too well, dear Traveler.." Lyney turned around, a genuine smile on his face. "Now, I'll be taking my leave. I'll be searching for you in the audience~"
So he left as soon as he came.. Aether had half the mind to tell him to fix his hair up, but he was more looking forward to hearing the way Lynette questioned him about it.

Tickletober Day 16: Sweets(?)
a/n: ahhh i wanted to do at least one day of tickletober! ty to the mi(y)as for making a fun list this year!
characters: lee!lyney, ler!aether
wc: ~1.5k
summary: aether and lyney come back from a night of trick-or-treating at the fortress of meropide!
---
"I can't wait to see what everyone gave us!"
Aether grinned as the two entered his temporary living quarters, still riding the high from the night. Halloween had been surprisingly eventful for a prison; inmates were encouraged to show up to work in whatever costumes they could scrounge together, with extra coupons as an incentive, and the cafeteria even gave out spooky-themed meals for the occasion. Although most inmates were not prepared to give out candy, seeing as children are not commonplace in the Fortress of Meropide, understandably so, their bags were still filled a decent amount, much more than the group initially anticipated. While Aether was satisfied with his haul, Paimon insisted on gathering more for herself and thus, the group split into two, Lynette and Freminet accompanying Paimon, leaving Lyney to stay behind with Aether.
"Okay, but you have to take any candy corn that I might've gotten."
"Ew, no." Aether turned to shoot Lyney a displeased squint, only for the corner of his mouth to stretch upwards into a smile, amused by the sight of the magician. He couldn't help but let a snort slip past his lips, catching the other off-guard.
"And what exactly is so funny?" Lyney quipped perplexedly, one hand on his hip as his own bag of candy swayed in the other.
It was Aether's idea, but something about it was.. off. Costume ideas were limited due to lack of notice and on a whim, Aether suggested that the two swap outfits for the night; Lyney would cosplay as the traveler, while Aether played the part of Fontaine's famous magician. This was a totally normal idea in his head, but the sight of Lyney not his usual dapper self in such a revealing outfit threw Aether's brain for a loop. Granted, Lyney's own outfit was not exactly on the conservative side, Aether had to admit, but this was something different altogether.
"It's just," there was a moment of pause as Aether gestured to all of Lyney with his hands, further bemusing the magician. "Just all of this," Aether finished his sentence, unable to properly convey his thoughts, opting to instead stretch his hands out in front of him, creating a grabbing motion towards Lyney's bare stomach by reaching forward.
"H-Hey!" Aether was barely in reach, yet the threat of wiggling fingers was enough to trigger a fight-or-flight response from Lyney, swinging the heavy candy bag in front of him as a form of self-defense. "It's not my fault you choose to dress like this!" The blush steadily creeping across Lyney's face was enough to get Aether to giggle; it took quite a bit to fluster the normally charming magician and Aether took great pride in doing so.
"J-Just sit down already!" Lyney quickly took his seat on the floor, gesturing for Aether to follow suit, looking away as he huffed. "I wonder what they give out around here."
Aether snorted amusedly, but refrained from teasing any further. Together, the two opened their bags, Aether immediately dumping the contents all over the floor. His mouth began to water at all the sweets, both familiar and new, laid out right in front of him. He was taken aback by the wide variety and initially figured most candy would be from Fontaine, yet his eyes immediately recognized packaging reminiscent of Monstadt and Sumeru treats, with the occasional sweets from Liyue. There was so much to choose from; where should he even begin..?
"What the—?! What is this?!"
Aether looked over at Lyney and his eyes widened at his pile of sweets, or rather.. lack thereof. Rather than Halloween treats, it was almost like Lyney somehow picked up everyone's trash instead. In fact, the only things that Aether discerned were edible were a random protein bar and the bag of sliced celery sticks handed to everyone by Sigewinne. Just from a quick glance, Aether caught sight of a dirty rag, a doll with no arms, a ball of yarn, ripped up coupons, one sock, a stuffed pig with its hind legs sewn on backwards, an empty bottle of firewater, a full bottle of firewater, except the liquid contained inside certainly did not resemble firewater. Most things Aether did not know; most things Aether did not want to know.
"How did you not notice any of this till now?" Aether had to hold back his laughter due to how distraught Lyney looked in the moment, but it was a very valid question. Perhaps, the magician wasn't as intelligent as he liked to portray.
The question seemed to fly over Lyney's head as his eyes continued to stare dumbfoundedly over his accumulated pile of trash. "I-I don't.. understand," Lyney mumbled, shoulders slumped.
"Maybe they just liked my costume more." Aether grinned teasingly, bursting out into giggles when Lyney snapped his head directly at him.
"But you're just wearing my outfit!" he huffed with a raised voice, before crossing his arms, turning his back to Aether, evidently upset by tonight's outcome.
As amusing as the whole situation was, Aether couldn't help but feel the tiniest bit sorry for Lyney, seeing as he had to spend his favorite holiday in, well, prison. With how much he had gone on and on all morning about Halloween, Aether practically had all of his favorite candy memorized, down to all the costumes Lyney and his siblings were allowed to wear at the orphanage. Figuring he should at least do something to lift the mood, Aether started sifting through his stash, picking out the perfect piece..
"Hey, Lyney."
At the sound of his name, Lyney shifted his body in Aether's direction, his pitiful expression morphing into starry eyes at the sight of Aether tossing a piece of candy his way. The treat nearly went uncaught, Lyney fumbling with his hands as he coordinated his limbs, but he managed to catch the little gift, shooting an expression at Aether that could be described as gratuitous. "Thank you so much," his voice nearly cracked.
Aether smiled as he nodded, a job well-done. Since Lyney was from Fontaine, there was a good chance he'd be most familiar with the sweets from the area. Thus, Aether had decided to go with the Yalda candy given by the Sumerian bodyguard. Normally given out for free during Sumeru's Sabzeruz Festival, the piece of Yalda candy was the perfect choice for Lyney, the flavors being a new experience for him. The added sunsettia complemented the other fruity notes present in the treat with its bright colors and tart—
"Oh, ew! EccH!"
The excessive gagging was enough to break Aether from his thoughts and his eyes caught sight of Lyney seemingly attempting to clear his mouth, adorning a distasteful expression with an empty wrapper in hand, while Aether's previously gifted generosity was a half-chewed mess on the floor. His mouth remained agape at the scene, trying to process all his thoughts on Lyney's display of actions: the impudence, the incivility, the disrespect.
"Sorry, that was, uh, something," Lyney finally spoke, still wearing a sour face. "It's, ahem, certainly not to my tastes. Do you have any water on you? I think I need— WaAHH! A-Aether? What are youhuhuhu- N-Nohohoho!"
"Throwing away my generosity like that, hmm?" Aether chastised the other, having taken the opportunity to pounce and pin Lyney to the floor, finally making full use of Lyney's costume to his advantage. "Y'know how many coupons that would've cost you on a normal day?"
"I- wahahait! I'm sohohohorry!" Lyney burst into a fit of laughter as Aether kneaded along his exposed sides, recalling various methods that were often demonstrated on him. Somehow, his outfit always seemed to invite tickles from the many friends he met during his journey, so it was a bit of relief to be on the other end for once.
"Really now?" Aether teased, taking great interest in the sensitive area surrounding Lyney's navel. "I'd ask for a piece of your own, but it doesn't look like you have anything to offer."
"You cahahahan have the dohoholl!" Lyney managed to squeal through his laughter, giving Aether a playful smirk in the process, only to throw his head back in hysterics when Aether punished him for the unsatisfactory offer. "I kihihihid! I'm kiIHIdding!"
"Hmmm, only you if you promise to no more wasting," Aether chided the giggly magician, teasing the outie with sporadic pokes, just gentle enough to elicit a hiccup or two, but still resulted in Lyney's legs kicking outwards.
"Prohohmihihise!"
Sufficed with the answer, Aether finally removed his hands and allowed Lyney to sit up once more. While he got himself comfortable, Aether took the time to pick out a different piece of candy, this time selecting one from Fontaine, a piece Lyney was sure not to reject. He motioned for Lyney to hold out his hand and watched as his face lit up yet again at the sight of the treat.
"Ah, I have to thank you again," Lyney said, humbly taking the candy in hand, "but seriously, if there's anything you think can be of use from my stuff, just let me know."
Aether peered over at Lyney's pile of "sweets" and the thought of handing the armless doll to Paimon amused him for a moment, but he shook his head, ultimately deciding against it. "Ehe, I'm good."

Tumblr media
Magic is a performance of art with picturesque illusions. Lyney often became overwhelmed by Caeser's joy in magic as he taught him several aspects of it. Indeed, he began to love it as well... especially playing tricks on others' minds as he played on.
It'd often the smaller ones thst excited kids more. Picking mora from their ears, picking flowers out from under his cloak, he could fo ample things just to get the audience happy.
It's usually days when the big magic tricks would begin, most unexpectedly he feels nervous though he had a knack for avoiding troublesome thoughts. Only Lynette read him like a book...
"Lyney!"
The sharp tone made him look up instantly, startled by his loss of awareness as he was sipping tea at his place with the traveller. Freminet was missing as always, being engrossed in diving - perhaps he ought to learn how to relax from him as well.
Ever since the trial, he became anxious about doing grand performances. He did perfect it at practice, but...he was worried if someone would sabotage his show again and create another victim...
Seeing Aether tilt his head in question to ask how he's feeling, Lyney chuckled sheepishly. "Oh dear, sorry to zone out like this... I may have been preoccupied by the fact that Paimon's not tired of floating around"
"Hey, Paimon's floating his similar to you guys walking, you know!"
Seeing her indignant reaction, he thought he had drawn their attention away from him. Still, Lynette didn't even make an attempt to sound accusing as she calmly said, "You're rigid, brother... perhaps you're nervous after all"
"W-what..? Surely you jest... I'm just more concerned about Paimon's logic to floating, " his face darkened as he lowered his head to the side to avoid any misgivings though the opposite just convoluted.
"Hey, you better not mess with Paimon!" Paimon, being Paimon, ignorantly grumbled in her chirpy voice, sounding offended presumably. Still, Aether could sense his offensive tactic being seen through. He might find it more intriguing to see past the crumbling defence he built desperately...
He shook his head now. "Lyney, we're close enough to see through your act..."
"Ah, drats..." he smiled weakly, seeing how his sister and the traveller were onto him. Keeping his tea cup to its original place on the table, he began to reason.
Now his solid defence has a crack...
"Alright, alright, guys... I am human, so I'll admit I am nervous after the water tank incident, " he offered. Now Lynette stated slight concern in her cool tone,"It's not the same trick... so why are you that worried?"
Sighing, he bit his lip, as if he got scolded by a teacher, "Making mistakes, I guess?"
Aether noticed his stiffness. He could tell the young magician must have been traumatised by the death of Cowell. Either way, they came here to cheer him on. He wondered if he could do anything for him... something to perk him up.
"Lyney" Aether began now gesturing to Paimon. "Allow Paimon to massage your shoulders... to make you relax... she's good at that"
Paimon gasped at Aether audacity to make a request unbeknowst to her, "You little! Of course, you put this on Paimon...!"
Regardless, her starry gaze genuinely desired to help, so she began "Alright Lyney let Paimon loosen you up"
Lyney anxiously waved a hand. "Oh n-no need... It's not really necessary... I really don't have stiff shoulders..."
(Cute...)
Aether rolling his eyes said, "Come on Lyney, no more secrets its obvious they are stiff..."
Before Lyney could evade the offer, Paimon was already behind him. "Relaaax, Paimon is an expert masseur. She can make you lose your fears in a snap!" She removed the pegged Cape so easily, and began to descend.
Until he staggered away, immediately stiffened by her gentle fingers reaching for his shoulders.
"D-dont Paimon... its not necessary"
She couldn't even touch him when he slid off from the couch only to stand and face her, Paimon pouted "Awww but can't you trust Paimon?"
"I...uh... It's not t-trust..."
Lynette, seeing the obvious issue and she finally pointed out, "It's not you, Paimon. He's got ticklish shoulders..."
"Lynette!!"
The casual reply made him blush but only to let Paimon's curious eyes widen in wonder. She waves her arms in frantic excitement "Nooo way Lyney! You didn't tell us your ticklish!"
Extremely nervous, he lowered his hat to hide the blush "A-Arent we all Paimon...?"
Most of Paimon's giggled converted to menacing titters as she wiggled her fingers. "So come here and let Paimon make you relax in a better way"
He had not expected this situation to collapse on him like this. He backed a little too far to bump into a seated Aether's knees and fell, half on his lap.
"Oh dear my apologihihihiies -Wahahait!" He struggled to sit up and grab Aether's sneaking fingers prodding his sides.
His squeaks contagiously threatened to leave his lips as Aether was mischievous as well.
"Are the fatuus this weak to tickling? I must say that's a bit disadvantageous"
Paimon, floating towards Lyney's upper body, began to perform her special tickly massage on his shoulders "Waiit for Paimon Aether, she wants to tickle him too!"
"Ahahha guys plehehehease" he curled now bur Aether grabbed his hips and snickered at the stream of loud and sweet giggles, "as I was saying... we could make you spill any little secret from the house of the hearth right?"
"Ihihihin your dreheheeheams I'm nohohot thahahahat weheheheheak"
"Ahhh, tsk, tsk it's not about being weak... It's about how ticklish you are, " he taunted by kneading his ribs with pure intent to torture information out of him.
Poor Lyney, on the other hand, tried to roll to the ground, but Aether got up and pinned him further to the couch, now both of the ganging on him where he's cornered.
"Lynehehehehtte!" The twin sister peacefully finishes her tea before saying,"It's ironic how his worst spots are the most exposed areas. His armpits and thighs are pretty bad, you know"
Hearing this intel Paimon snickered "ehehehehe let Paimon excell her Paimonial wrath! Your armpits are Paimons now!!!" She charged in yo perfectly fit her small hands into his delicate armpits, she even blowed at his neck to make him squeal and hiccup into louder giggles and laughs.
"This was just to make you relax, so..." Aether teasingly swiped a finger over his thighs suddenly, making him shrill in shock and squeak, "Pleheheheease!"
"So no... at least not today, " he said this, and Paimon reluctantly backed off."That was for making fun of Paimon!"
Chuckling at her ridiculous high pitched complain Aether now cupped his cheeks to get a better look at his adorably blushing red face. "Teyvat to Lyney... you there~"
He still giggled as he said "Aaha yes, I must thank you, but... that was a bit much, wasn't it"
Meanwhile, Lynette coolly expressed, "Ignore him. He loves being tickled so you guys can knock yourselves out"
Lyney flustered now "Y-You can't just...!"
"Oh really?" Aether grabbed his shoulders now making him stiffen again "I thought I found a knot right here? Guess Paimon's masseur skills are still lacking"
"Hey!" One from Paimon.
"HEHehehey!" Another from a bewildered Lyney who giggled at the light touch now trying to move away.
"Ahahaha nohohot again! Nohohot thehehhe shoulders ahahahaha aehehehehther!"
"Let the magic begin!" Lynette smirked, joining the finale of wrecking her brother. None of them have the intention of letting Lyney go until he's cheered and satisfied.
Well... not that Lyney wanted it to stop... he liked this feeling...
