I don't usually re-watch dramas or re-read books, that's not my thing. But I've come to realize that the ones that I do rewatch have one thing in common: super sand endings. Here's the dramas I re-watched:

A Piece of Your Mind - there's nothing actually no tragedy in this one, except for the fact that TVN cut down 4 episodes from the drama because ratings were very low and the finale felt chopped and nothing made a lot of sense. Koreans don't like slowburns a whole lot it seems.

My Name - in which my boy Pildo dies a stupid death and Jiwoo suffers soooo much and only smiles like twice in the entire thing (currently rewatching and it feel like the first time)

The Smile Has Left Your Eyes (or A Thousand Stars From The Sky) - in which both main characters dies, yet another stupid death, when actually everyone deserved a happy ending but it was a TVN drama so none of that shit could happen

Goblin - technically this one has a happy ending but it was very sad overall and it should have ended when Eun Tak dies

Moon Lovers, Scarlet Heart: Ryeo - the one that caused me severe trauma because now I can't just watch a simple period drama to the end, because everyone fucking dies. THEY DIE A SAD LONELY DEATH. Personally, the hardest one to take was Wang Eun because he was a baby and all he wanted was to be happy and he finally settled with his wife and then brother number 3, that fucker, killed him without need because Eun would have never gone for the crown, he wanted a toy shop. And don't let me get started in Wang So and Hae Soo and their supposed happy scene in the end that never actually aired. Lee Junki said, before the drama aired, "this is a lighthearted drama that will warm you, please watch it kindly" where mf? Where is my lighthearted drama? Because in those there's usually a happy ending and here? Well, I only see tragedies. With that said, I've watched it 3 times, currently planing a 4th one.

This is 4th Prince Wang So from the amazing kdrama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo. I’ve been rewatching that drama and so I drew him. He’s played by my favorite actor, Lee Joongi. His character goes through more hardship and suffering than I’ve ever seen of any character in dramas I watch, and yet he still endures.

His story is quite sad, but even though his heart has been wounded and he sometimes wavers, he never gives up. I can relate to him. The quote above is something the main female lead character, Hae Soo says, after his mother brutally rejects him as her son. This scene always stood out to me the most out of any other scene in the drama. So, I drew it! Hope you enjoy! ❤️🥰
