oh man - i originally had so many ideas for this challenge, i'm not gonna lie. but i thought about it and i thought it would be fun as hell to throw my personal gameplay sim, brooklyn, into the mix! she is as mid-2000s yt girl sim as she could possibly be, obnoxious tats and all, and i love her to death!
and yes she's the gp sim that's marrying jacques for inheritance money but shhh shh he doesn't need to know

this girl has no ulterior motives going into this show, that's for sure. brooklyn najera's life up until now could fit nice and snugly into the "going with it" category. no decision she's made has been one she can confidently say she's made herself - from her career to her apartment to her little pomeranian boomer, everything in her life has either fallen into her lap or just sort of... worked out.
while her ultimate goal in life is to make great drinks that open people's minds and palates, brooklyn doesn't have much of anything else in regards to the whole "life" thing figured out. she has friends, sure, and she loves going out on the weekends, who doesn't? she's had her share of hook-ups, of failed connections and heart breaks, and has ridden through them all with a shrug and a tip of the glass.
but what better chance at feeling like she's actually done something for herself than signing up for a... dating... show? is it a dating show? is it a competition? is it even fair if the host is so hot? whatever the case, brooklyn wants to find out for herself if a show like this could actually be legit -- there are only so many failed meet-n-mingle dates a girl can go on.
(oh, and did we mention, this girl fell for mortimer goth and was surprised when he didn't leave his wife for her? she's Gone Through It.)
this girl literally finished the "mix 10 drinks" aspiration by herself, her number one autonomous action is making drinks (and then consuming them)

for some reason has a level 10 fitness skill and will kickbox absolutely anything. if there's a punching bag she will beeline for that thing.
i just want to say that i am so excited to read this challenge regardless of whether or not brooklyn is chosen! the rules are fantastic and i can tell you've put so much time into planning this! i can't wait to see what happens!!

Posting here again ? I mean, I kinda lost motivation these past few months because of my computer and my infinite loading game but I'm getting in the mood again !
I really want to finish Another Side and finally move to the DH3 part ! I have so many ideas and things planned. I'm actually thinking about including more videos and interactions. I think the videos will be tested on the Melodia special (I kinda have to right?).
Also, I want to reblog more as I always put everyone's wonder on my draft for later but I don't find the right timing for that. I guess I'll reblog more randomly this year. And finally, I'd love to still interact and discover more new amazing fellow simmers to talk to and enjoy our creativity together. You all have been a real strenght for me since I started this journey I can't see how it would work without this special bound we all have thanks to this simple game.

It varies from edit to edit, but in general it goes something like this:
Concept -> Plan Outfits -> Build Set (if in-game) -> Take Screenshots (with SRWE for my major edits) -> Crop Pics (5:7 for CAS or 16:9 for in-game) -> Run Actions in PS -> Draw Shadows (for major edits) -> Draw Highlights (sometimes) -> Special Effects (something I've only started considering lately) -> Resize -> Post

Ooh, this is fun!! I usually don't share before and afters! I'll show you one of my more recent edits, and then two of my most detailed edits.
This was a relatively simple edit, with mostly just shadows and some very light color correction thanks to some actions I run on all my CAS pics.
This is a much more complicated edit. (Probably the most complicated edit I've posted, mostly due to it having a background.)
I was particularly proud of drawing the shadow of the crown. (Can you tell I love drawing shadows?? Especially for hair and objects that cast shadows onto the faces? It's so much fun!!)
But I also had to color grade the whole edit to give the right gloomy vibes that I wanted the scene to have.
This edit is probably the most shadows and highlights I've done on a CAS edit (with the possible exception of the one I did of Fallon). It was a lot of fun to do!

The Cadden Brothers, Cyrus and Max were always a trouble. Max was born first and after 2 years Cyrus appeared in his life. They didn’t get along for a long time, fighting, pranking each other and other stuff, but despite that, later when they grew up and went to the same school, they both became and still are great friends, helping and doing things together. High school time was their one of the most hilarious and fun period. Max was into sports, playing in a soccer team at high school. Cyrus loved art and did join the art club back then.
They also went to the same college and were causing a mayhem there together. Partying, playing, falling in love, pranking, fighting and other things. Cyrus joined a garage band at college, but left it later. Max joined a boxing club. Shortly - good college times.
Both had several relationships, some were short, some longer, some not serious at all. To this day Max and Cyrus are both single and ready to mingle so to say. And they both applied to find their love, this time in different shows. Will they find someone? Who knows, maybe yes, maybe no, but at least they both will not go unnoticed for sure!
